for the past few friday mornings, i have been in charge of picking up kolaches for the oriface. i have found the perfect order size that makes the order come to $6.66 with tax. i love putting that crap on the church card. and i love seeing the poor ladies behind the counter at the kolache store eyeball me timidly as i grin (just a little) satanically. it's a ruse i intend to carry on for months to come.

I have a friend who is constantly in money trouble and I've bailed her out more than a few times in the past. She's always eventually repaid me. Anyways, I have a strong background in finance and planning and I've offered to show her how to make the money she makes get her through the month without any stressful last minute rushing around trying to accumulate enough money to pay the rent. She's never said no to my mentoring but she's also never taken me up on my offer.

I get a text as I'm driving into work this morning and she's stressed; she doesn't think she can make rent again after she pays her other bills owing. So I'm left with this situation again...bail her out or not...

OK, I didn't sleep well the night before and I was fried all day yesterday. The same thing happened to me last night, no sleep and I am fried again today. I guess that qualifies me as a refried Bean. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't have gone there.

I deal with crazy drivers on the way home all week long. But that's OK, little do those bastages know that I am squshing their heads with my thumb and pointing finger.

Coffee finally kicked in (barely).   Had a late night last night, as my son needed a ride home.  His co-worker's car decided not to start, possible problem being the alternator.  Vehicle had to be towed, and I picked up my son and another co-worker (first one's brother)  Didn't get back home until just past midnight.

I want to advise you not to do it, but I probably would do it and then curse myself out...so make of that what you will.

 i drive a Corolla and I drive just fine, tyvm.  My momma (70 yrs old) drives a Camry.  She drives just fine as well...faster than me.  I average about 74 on the Watterson Xway.

Cambrey's funeral is tomorrow.  I'm not looking forward to it on the one hand, yet I know I need the closure.  She died very peacefully...she reached up with both hands, just like she was reaching for Jesus, then she laid back and died.  She's getting buried in her favorite purple dress.  It has daisies on it.  She loved  purple AND daisies, so it's fitting that she wear this dress in her grave.  Meanwhile, my best friend lost her baby in the third month of pregnancy.  I feel like I'm being a horrible friend to her. It's so hard to go through one crisis, but my heart hurts for two people right now.  I just wish one of my friends could endure something really good right now.  I don't have many tears left for today.

well well well. bend over people, here it comes again. the wall street, big bank,  watchdog, pay czar or whatever you wanna call him has decided that the couple BILLION dollars in bonuses paid to the bailed out bigwigs can stay in their  pockets.  he says that the shame they have been put  thru is penalty enough.  they don't have to give it back to US, the people who got  shafted the worst in all of this.  how's that for SWEEPING FINANCIAL REFORM?   kinda gets your dander up doesn't it?  well stand by, because  just in case we haven't suffered enough indignity already, this is the same  A**HOLE who has been put in charge of the BP claims fund.   the oil leak may be slowing but a much  worse  stench will soon foul the gulf coast  area.  i pity anyone down there who has to try to  deal with these nobshines.
