If Troy Tulowitzki hadnt been hurt for half the season, I'd probably have him #1.  Gonzalez has been good all year but Tulo is the guy who has kept the Rockies afloat for most of September

Joey Votto has been the cornerstone of the Reds all year, and is the MVP, a close decision over Cargo.

Albert Pujols, every year people say hes not the same, hes hurt, hes showing signs of wear. Yet AGAIN he ends up hitting over .300, 40+ Home runs and 100+ RBI. You are watching the best player in baseball, and has been for the last 8 years.
