Nothing, zippo, zilch, my door would close so fast their head would still be spinning just like that girl on the Exorsist!    After seeing *The Situation*'s show for the 1st time the other night, seeing Ocho Cinco's show once the other day ----neither of which could I watch the whole thing... (I truly wanted to barff!!!!) ...no way would I want to be on one of those reality shows.  I value my privacy too much and they sensationalize things WAY to much for this Seal!    That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

All I would need to do is to sit them down and begin discussing my philosophy of modern sociology, politics, and associated historical relevance for them to think otherwise....

O.K., seriously.....

My time in the Navy.
My family.
My current efforts to establish a living history environment.  (Hopefully, there will be more news to follow in this endeavor--stay tuned), and no, because I'm an arse, I'm not telling anything more about this effort....

I don't believe the most significant moments of my life have occurred yet.

Most of mine would involve great times I've had with my closest friends.

I think the only thing I like people know world wide about me (maybe the only that really worths it)  is my family, how wonderful all they are, how we interact, how we talk and laugh and have fun, no fights or angry people, I'd be lost without them, family is the most important thing for me.

Birth of my three boys.

That's awesome. Same here. What other 2 things would you let your fellow Qers know about your life, though?

1)My dad made up this game called High Bouncers when I was like 5 and my sister would have been 8. My dad would drop like 15 of those little balls on the table and as they were bouncing all around the kitchen, the 4 of us (dad, mom, sister, me) would try to grab the most we could while everyone was laughing hysterically.

2)My college friend Shane and I went to the Vermont State Fair one weekend and we were just on fire when it came to playing the horse races there. We started off with a little $30 exacta, had the $70 double, then won a $500 trifecta and $150 exacta on the same race. Beers were on us that night!

3)Maybe the times I have spent with my Little Brother since being matched with him in March. Like this past Saturday, when we attempted to find our way through a cool corn maze and then he got to fire the corn cannon :)

What I do at work, I have a lot of fun there. How I behave when I'm at a live concert
#18 | 1451 days ago

I'm a private person. I honestly can't think of anything that i would want on MTV from my life thus far.

Now I would like them to capture me 1. spending the day with OchoCinco, Eminem, and JT, 2. winning the lottery for 106.8 million dollars, 3. being the first person in America (or anywhere maybe) to legally marry whichever dude is around at the time, Kat, JSmall, Kevin, Nyce, Philip Rivers, Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Vin Diesel, and Lance Gross. Best and biggest wedding/civil union thingy ever!

(oh, pretty sure I have to marry Hayden Panietierre to get kevin to give in, and some lil chick who's name I dont remember that reminds nyce of someone else...)

OK, I just wrote the MTV show part to make it more exciting. I was looking for 3 memories from each person, basically. I promise that these won't end up in a Playboy Magazine article or anything like that :)

1)   My first deployment, getting the briefing about not presenting your left hand or using it because the local use it to wipe their butts, don’t show the bottom of your feet, and don’t…DON’T pee in the trough in public bathrooms because it isn’t for urinating, it is for the locals to wash their feet before praying!  Anyway, I had to escort this local into the base so we could offload gear, after off loading I had to go get him back into his truck to escort him off the base.  I started to walk over next to his truck to get him when I noticed him squatting next to his rig.  The SOB was taking a crud right on the road, so I quickly turned around until he was done.  I heard him finish up and turned to have him standing there smiling with his hand out to shake my hand.  I shot both my hands up in the air, told him politely that I’m sure you touch your left hand, butt wiping hand, with your right and to please get in his rig and follow me back off base!

2)  Being on the phone with my wife as she gave birth to our last child.  I was stuck waiting for a plane in Afghanistan.

3)  While courting my wife, we were at a restaurant and she was pretty bummed out that evening.  I love to make her laugh and I knew she needed a good chuckle so I told our waitress that it was my birthday.  So she gathered up the people who worked there, made me a silly hat to wear, gave me a cupcake, and they all sang me a screwed up version of Happy Birthday!  She still loves that day that I went out of my way to be a fool!  My birthday was months away, but it was worth it!

I'm right there with you.  Fortunately, my son is taking German so I am re-learning while he is learning.  Hopefully with the internet, if he continues with the language, I can maintain the knowledge now.

You're right. The only way you don't forget languages is practice, and I didn't have enough, I think I have to take a course again

For German, don't you just pronounce all of our W's as V's? I drive a Volks Vagon :)

There are other phonetic variances as well especially letters 'v'ith umlauts (the two dots over the letters) and other dialectic considerations such as we see in geographical regions in different parts the U.S.
