Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

If I started to rant right now, I probably couldn't stop, so I won't. But let me tell you that in the span of 15 minutes last night, I got 2 phone calls about TWO teenage girls, 16 and 14, both being verbally and physically abused by their respective 18 year old boyfriends. Neither had the sense to tell their parents or me or my friends (who they talk to about everything else btw). AND they both are pretty "it's okay, he didn't mean it" about it. I can honestly say that I am ready to shoot someone (me and my 380 were actually on the way to see about this this morning, my ex actually calmed me down at 3am which is shocking), and I want to choke the sh*t out of these dumb ass girls myself. I love them but I'm pissed about it. They KNOW better. Make sure you talk to these little girls now if you have any because I'm guessing this is becoming normal behavior and apparently kids are stupid-er than ever. One of the girls mom immediately went and got her firearms, as did her man...they basically mounted up since not only did this kid beat her but he threatened to kill her whole family. WTF?! Ripped out of a f*cking lifetime movie...
I don't remember if we ever set ranks on the F*ckometer scale, but if it begins at "Leave me the f*ck alone" and ends at "Breaking news: 15 people, kittens, and a baby seal die today in a fit of homocidal rage", I am at least 2 passed that. I'll stop now. *sigh*

Maybe its time to drop the guns and get the police involved ash. An 18 year old with a 14 year old girl bad enough as it is, and then to throw in physical abuse, things can get a lot worse real quick. Sounds like these punks need to get right with Jesus.

Sorry to read this, Ashlie. I used to hear about a lot of abuse from my niece with the high school girls she hung around with. It's almost at epidemic levels. It saddens me to read this. We need to wake these young ladies up.

Other than that, have a great day, Q'ers.

I was gonna complain because I was a little (well, a lot) hung over after yesterday, but you trumped the Hell outta me!! Speaking as the father of a daughter and the husband of a wife that I'm here to protect  I would not give a firearm the pure satisfaction I would be depriving myself by shooting the bastard (s).  My mind is flooded with visions of Paulie from the Sopranos with a shovel, or a bat in his hand. The shovel would be better 'cause he can dig...But I digress. A woman should never be attacked by any man. PERIOD. I'm glad I'm on vacation. I need a drink.  See what you did?

Wow Ashlie, that's so sad. Take it easy, you did your part by listening and supporting them. You have a child to love and  take care and needs a relaxed and happy mom. Take a deep breath (and a drink or two if you need it) but they have to learn to love themselves first so nobody abuses them. (sighs). Big hug

One of my students told me he liked my earrings yesterday.....................oh and he also said he liked my ears-----What a little charmer! Same boy told me my elbows were nice last week. lol
I called myself racist last night because I wouldn't let a white car cut me off. Was I wrong?

good rant, sister. i know it's just the heat, but in all seriousness, minors, or not, they need a shelter. and when they get there, these f*cksticks need to be reported.

i sat through the dudliest movie ever last night. i still have testosterone dripping off me and watching this (not for the stoney of heart) twice, i am still wanting to scratch my junk and spit. oh wait. i don't have junk. i'll just spit.

3000 miles to graceland covered sex, guns, explosions, computer generated scorpions fighting to the death, road head, puking, howie long, elvis, "what's the smartest thing to ever come out of a woman's mouth?...einstein's d!ck!" har har har!, crying over an adopted son, a theme park, a van dedicated to some sports team, money laundering, killing someone with a bow and arrow, hunting, vegas showgirls, beer, 50's cadilacs, kidnaps, rescues, farts, jail, bullets grazing a face, cop killing, gun slinging, oh and the dudliest trait of all - the sh!ttayist dialogue imaginable. the movie may have been pretty good if no one spoke.

what made this movie worth it: hearing howie long sing my name. it happened in the first 15 minutes. and it may have been just me, but that movie was long.

it made me have an awful dream that i shot a cop in the eye for rushing me with something and he came back and shot my god-dog sam as revenge. i am still bumming hardcore about that dream.

i recommend this movie to everyone here who eats red meat, likes naked ladies and has that extra special appendage. everyone else, may want to rent something else.

Good Morning QVille !

Always gets on my last nerve to hear any incident with a "so called" man hitting a woman , i could never hit a woman under any circumstance , and i may not be the best to talk about moral standards but there is no excuse for it. You would like to think the young men of today are raised to a higer standard then that and have more respect and character but it just is not the case.

Violence is a ugly thing even used with the best of intentions , but it is a tool used for results if handled in the appropriate manner but when used the "brain" factor must outweigh the "brawn" one to get that desired result !  Im just Sayin , not that i really know

Once again my degenerate gene takes effect and i think i will spend a little time at the track wit the old tymers and the ponies today  ,  get the weekly fill of coffee and cigar smoke.

So could atleast wish me "Good Luck"  i usually need it !

Morning all.  Hitting a woman never has anything t o do with love, neither does accepting it.   I feel like crying or cussing or something this morning.  Things are disappearing from my house.  My cake pan with cover is missing.  This morning i went to change my bed and two sets of sheets are missing.  I have looked everywhere.  They are not here.   What is going on?  Anybody know?

Mighty serious epidemic in this country with what you have ranted on about..It's sad that the young girls and even young woman would rather get smacked around then be alone....A scared straight program for them might help, not saying the guys don't need their just deserts, educating females period in their choices would hopefully save some lives...ok enough from me on that...

Song: Lord Give Me A Sign

Lyrics:

[Intro:]
Yeah..Uh
In the name of Jesus
(thats right)
No weapon formed against me shall prosper
(preach)
And every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn
(preach)
(Lord give me a sign)
For this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord
(preach)
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
(preach)
Amen

[Verse 1]
Lord Give me a Sign!
I really need to talk to you Lord
Since the last time we talked the walk has been hard
Now I know you havent left me
But I feel like I'm alone
Im a big boy now but I'm still not grown
And Im still goin threw it
Pain and the hurt
Soaking up trouble like rain in the dirt
And I know!
Only I can stop the rain
Wit just the mention of my saviors name
IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
Devil I rebuke you for what I go threw
And tryin make me do what I used to
But all that stops right here
As long as the Lords in my life I will have no fear
I will know no pain from the light to the dark
I will show no shame spit it right from the heart
Cuz its right from the start
But you held me down
And Aaint nothin they can tell me now
Lord give me a sign!

[Hook:]
Let me know whats on your mind
Let me know what I'm gone find
Its all the time
Show me how to teach the mind
Show me how to reach the blind
Lord give me a sign!

Show me what I gots to do
To bring me closer to you
Cuz I'm gonna go through
What ever you want me to
Just let me know what to do
Lord give me a sign!

[Verse 2:]
Please show me sometin
Im tired of talkin to him
Knowin he frontin
Cryin bout life aint nuttin
But you either be the one mad cuz you trapped, or the one huntin
Trapped in your own mind waitin on the Lord
Or huntin wit the word that cuts like a sword
The spoken word is stronger than the strongest man
Carries the whole world like the strongest hand
Through the trials and tribulations you neva let us down
JESUS!
I know your here with us now
JESUS!
I know your still wit us now
Keep it real wit us now
I wanna feel show me how
Let me take your hand, guide me
Ill walk slow but stay right beside me
Devil's tryna find me
Hide me, hold up I take that back
Protect me and give me the strength to fight back!

[Hook:]
Let me know whats on your mind
Let me know what I'm gone find
Its all the time
Show me how to teach the mind
Show me how to reach the blind
Lord give me a sign!

Show me what I gots to do
To bring me closer to you
Cuz I'm gonna go through
What ever you want me to
Just let me know what to do
Lord give me a sign!

[Verse 3:]
Life or death
Live or die
I will never live a lie
Im goin there cuz I try
I wont quit until I die
Im gone make it wrong or right
Make it through the darkest night
When the morning comes you'll see
All I have is God in me
(Lord give me a sign!)

[Outro:]
No weapon formed against me shall prosper
For this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord
In the name of jesus
Lord give me a sign
Amen

Well not to get off subject, but my F%$king life is great.

I will go away now.  but here is a song for those low life scumbags......

We are scanning the scene
In the city tonight
We are looking for you
To start up a fight
There is an evil feeling
In our brains
But it is nothing new
You know it drives us insane

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy

There is no escape
And that is for sure
This is the end we won't take any more
Say goodbye
To the world you live in
You have always been taking
But now you're giving

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy

Our brains are on fire
With the feeling to kill
And it will not go away
Until our dreams are fulfilled
There is only one thing
On our minds
Don't try running away
`cause you're the one we will find

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy

Hello out there in FanIQ Land!  We didn't have anybody working at the hospital today, and as a result got crazier as the day went on.  Coming home, I got stuck in traffic for the Pens game.  I don't understand why, came past the arena the same time on opening night and cruised right through.  Today I sat for a half hour to go 3 blocks, ridiculous!  Today is a special moment in baseball history.  October 13 is Forbes Field Day, and today, just as every year, people go out to what's left of the wall of Forbes Field to hear a re-broadcast of game 7 of the 1960 World Series.  Today is the 50th anniversary of Bill Mazeroski's unforgettable home run, and to commemorate, the newspaper has a special collector's section as the front page, and some living members of the 1960 team (Maz included obviously) were out at the only remaining piece of the outfield wall still standing to relive history.  Some may call it hanging on to the past, but I would give anything to have been alive that day and seen that home run, the most famous homer in MLB history aside from Bobby Thomson's shot heard round the world.  I'll have more later, including some stupidity on the road, and some KMT.  Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with my TV, let's go Pens!

BK over and out...for now.

Today is one of the most profoundly sad days of my life.  RIP, Bill Hopper.  You were a good friend to my father, and a man who lived what you believed and gave other people something to believe in.  The world is a much better place because you were here.

RIP Andrew Elliot.  Andrew died in an alley over the weekend after being shot by an old man who knew better.  Andrew also knew better than to do what he did, but it was SO minor that guns should never have been involved.  He was 15 and had his life ahead of him, and a 62 yr old man should have better control of himself than to resort to violence.

IDK what else to say today.  It finally rained and I got a great lightning show, but that pales in comparison to the tragedies of the past week.  I hope everyone else is lovn' life.

So now for the retard of the day award.  I saw breaking news when I got home from work.  A car crashed through the window of a building, a shopping center in the south hills of Pittsburgh.  The irony in all of this, the person behind the wheel was someone taking their driver's test WITH the instructor in the car, and they crashed through the window of the DMV!

Good evening Pudding-Headed Potatoshavers,
I have nothing to rant over tonight..

Ashlie, all I have to say is Ugh, just ugh.. I am so sorry, and I really hope these young women know that they don't need to put up with that.  But I know that it's hard to walk away.. especially at that age when you are in "love" with these men.

forgot my song.. oopsies..  This one was just on my iPod, felt like it was a perfect post for today.

Someone Must Get Hurt - She Wants Revenge

Please don't touch me, I've come to far to let you bring me down
He's thinks that I'm easy but try as you might you can't have me now
These tedious dances we run through but I've memorized them now
I quietly melt down and consent to you if only just to bawl

As I stare through you and I stand quite still
And a alarm sounds just up the road
I can tell you'd like some company but I can't fix you and you don't want me

I call for the witness, present the facts right down to the little things
They say the heart is resilient, in black and white you swore there'd be no strings
I sneak out the back door, but the gavel strikes
And I can hear you cry, under the sound of my footsteps
This time they will be no long goodbye

As I stare through you and I stand quite still
And a alarm sounds just up the road
I can tell you'd like some sympathy but I can't fix you and you don't want me

How can I trust you? How could you need me now?
Its getting to be so cold, old
The decision is in that I won't break
You cut and you run with our lives at stake
Well, someone might get hurt and it won't be me
The decision is in there will be no fight
It might sound cold but I know its right
'Cause someone must get hurt and it won't be me

I haven't read the comments yet, I promise I'll do that, but I'm horrified, as the mother of a teenage son, to read that crap!!  Today, I witnessed "Elder Abuse" and told the elder gentleman (his daughter was getting him to buy her alcohol, trying to change the purchase amout for extra cash, and trying to see his pin number as he was entering it) that he needed to ensure he kept his informaiton HIS OWN.  His daughter called me a bitch and told me to mind my own damn business, but I told her that her father WAS my damn businesss and that HIS purchases, HIS bank card and HIS pin number are exactly that, HIS and not hers.

I will work 37 hours this week, 35 is considered full time.  It's hard, physical work, but I'm honestly loving it! Only problem is, all that acohol is making me want to drink a helluva lot!!

All women, regardless of their age, should be treated with respect...call me old fashioned but the last little idiot that disrespected my daughter let me just say that I think he is still running across Canada...what these young ladies need is a swift kick in their self esteem and the guys need to spend some time in the military, then we will see how tough they are...
PUHLEESE!! Do not send this person across Canada - as the mom of a twelveteen in BC, we do not need him here!

UPDATION:  A young boy was the student driver.  He passed his test.  The instructor got out of the car, the student thought he had the car in park, and took his foot off the brake pedal...and proceeded to plow right through the window.  That DMV will be closed tomorrow as a result of his stupidity.
yeah...

So, we don't have to worry about him on the streets...just in the dreaded parking lots.

I work for a parking company

Wanna hear what I discovered today that makes this worse?  I saw the guy getting interviewed on the news about the incident, and it's not a young kid, he looked like he was almost 30.

I'd extend my arms for a "comfort hug", but considering the mood you've presented and the approach of Halloween with you polls on which slasher films to start watching, if I do, I just might get them chopped off......

Hiiiii!

Not really (Aveeno SPF 90000000).
It definitely was ... and relaxing.
Kinda, sorta ... cruises have some interesting folk.  As does downtown Nassau.
I did, but only in Nassau, which was enough.  I will be elaborating more eventually ... perhaps with pictures.
