Movie Mania 1(?)
So, this MAY become another in my series thingies. I will list 10 of MY 1,786 favorite movies; this one will be random, future ones may be genre or actor specific, who knows, and what I would like you to do is rank them best to worst in order. Simple, right? There is no other option since I only want your opinion on the movies listed. You are welcome to write in some clever Beaneaters option but no one really cares. Also, if you haven't seen ALL or at the very least 7 of the movies, don't vote. Just post something that will make me totally disregard your opinion.

*If your number one doesn't match mine or someone else's, I/we/they/reserve the right to publicly mock you.

The Silence of the Lambs is one of those few movies that is an all-timer and has set the gold standard for unintentional comedy. Has there ever been a character like Buffalo Bill? He hit ALL the high notes from comedic genius to out creeping Hannibal. Why hasn't this guy been on inside the actors studio? Why?!?! He's the only actor who could have pulled it off. We're a few short months away from the 20th Anniversary DVD re-release, with all the behind the scenes and outtakes bells and whistles. Jame Gumb's alone will be worth the $30-$40. I'm giddy.

(FYI, i only ranked it 2nd because Die Hard has the best movie line of all time... and a top 5 villain. But that's a whole other story.)

LOL, haven't seen italian job, YET (geesh, like the third time this week it's come up.) and Slevin was great, but not greater that the other 4 ahead of it on this list. You gotta admit, it's a pretty solid 10. tough calls all round.

It is a VERY solid 10...I had a hard time with everything after my first 2. I ended up pretty much just listing the last 8 randomly after playing Eenie Meenie Miney Melvin

Wouldve like to place Bourne Identity first but the movie did the whole story line a grave injustice and Supremacy and Ultimatum totally sucked. Wondering if Val Kilmer's line " I'll be your hucklebuck came from Tombstone?

you prefer Wyatt Earp? UGH! but whatever I own both movies. I love westerns and all but Wyatt Earp was way too long for no good reason, Tombstone cut straight to the important parts. I mean no one really cares how Mattie became a junkie, we just need to know that she was. Costner was good but Kurt looked better, Val Kilmer may have never been better....EVER. Wyatt Earp was also missing Sam Elliot. It probably didn't help that I saw Tombstone first.

Ugh seriously? Those two are excellent and you'd probably end up not even realizing you watched a movie with those 2 people on the list (who are they? Josh Hartnett and Mark Wahlberg? Hartnett I could understand but Wahlberg is an excellent actor and I shall shun you).

No.......but I still felt obligated to defend teachers. And come on ....back in those days....teachers had paddles, so directions were followed.

Ugh seriously? Those two are excellent and you'd probably end up not even realizing you watched a movie with those 2 people on the list (who are they? Josh Hartnett and Mark Wahlberg? Hartnett I could understand but Wahlberg is an excellent actor and I shall shun you).
It is actually, Bruce Willis and Marky Mark. IMO Marky Mark's acting ability is slightly better than his rapping skills, and I would rather listen to House of Pain than Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch! Also I would rather watch a Don Knotts/Bea Arther sex tape than any movie staring Marky Mark(betcha Bea's penis was bigger than Don's).

OK SOMEBODY needs to open up their mind just a LITTLE bit here because they're missing out on some of the best movies I've ever seen. I won't name any names.

Lucky Number Slevin - Bruce Willis is a key character but you actually don't see him all that much.

Re: Mark WAHLBERG (he's not Marky Mark anymore...people do grow up and change, thank goodness for that or I would be in big trouble) has been in some amazing movies. You, sir, are the first person I've ever met in my entire life that doesn't like him as an actor. As a rapper...totally understand. As an actor...not so much.

*sigh* wow

Sorry, Lucky Number Slevin leapfrogs with 2 or 3 other movies daily with which one is my favorite...none of which are on this list. However, this is a stellar list.
