The BCS is a joke and its not necessarily the BCS's fault. The problem is that human's are allowed to manipulate that polls.  Alabama and Wisconsin have similar resume's but Alabama is a title contender still and Wisconsin is not (not complaining about the latter). Humans will always find a justification for jumping Boise State. Its a joke. Until the title is settle on the field, there are no legitimate D-1 football champs.

Missouri should be higher then Mich St and TCU until Neb beats them next week, the win over Okla is more impressive then anything the other two have.

I agree they should be. If somehow they win against Nebraska, they'll have an argument for a top 1-3 ranking.

For me, it's a 3 team race right now for the BCS title game.  Auburn's fate will be decided in the Iron Bowl against Alabama while Oregon has potential "trap games" this weekend against USC and in the Civil War with Oregon State on December 4th.  The 3rd team is Missouri, who if they beat Nebraska this weekend should jump up at least to #3.  If they can win out and beat possibly Oklahoma again in the Big XII title game, then they should be playing for the BCS title

The BCS continues to prove how ridiculous it is.

I'm no supporter of the BCS system, believe me on that. In 2004 Auburn had a shot at the championship (However and unbeaten SEC school got left out)

From a complete team point of view, I actually liked the '04 Tigers to be one of the best this decade has seen. There shouldn't be co-champs because only one team holds the trophy at year's end.

We're all college football fans, thus we will continue to watch regardless of the way they decide a champion. Until Boise joins the Pac-10 and TCU joins the Big-12, neither of those two teams will receive my vote to be champion.

Things will work themselves out for the national title game, but the biggest farce in the system is that the Big East, a league without even one elite team or a top 25 ranked team for that matter gets an automatic qualifier into a BCS game.  You can't tell me the Mountain West isn't more deserving
