I picked Basketball.. so I can stalk my players closer.

cause apparently I didn't get close enough last time.  I prefer to sit on their laps, or in their warm-up suits..

 I chose Basketball.

1) Sitting front row at a Hockey game sucks, unless you have front row behind the net. Otherwise, you're turning your neck to watch the play at the other end of the rink and you can't see along the boards

2) Baseball, too dangerous with the foul balls and broken bats. The best front row seat here is in the bleachers!

3) Football, not much of an advantage sitting front row versus anywhere higher up, unless your in the very last row in the upper deck (next to god)

4) not much into MMA, NASCAR, TENNIS or UFC

From the list basketball, football and maybe hockey, I don't follow it too much because there's not a hockey league in Mexico but I'd love to, my other is soccer

Baseball & Basketball would be cool!

Football & Hockey, I think would want to be 10 rows up.

NASCAR... Unless it is on the Start/Finish line - NO way - The Top Rows are the seats to have.

Not sure about any of the others.

If stripping was a sport...well...okay it's not but I think you all know where I'm going with that...

In any case, I would choose basketball for the same reasons that Nick espoused. Although hockey is my favorite sport, sitting in the front row doesn't really offer the most advantageous views of the action. (Once I sat behind the home team's bench and that wasn't bad though)

Football is best viewed live from about 20 rows up and on the 50 yard line and I would imagine having front row seats at a Nascar event is probably the worst seat in the house.

While top row at a NASCAR even might be the best place to SEE the even, honestly, I would re-watch the race on TV once i got home.  I wouldn't be there to watch the race so much as to experience the whole situation, the smells, sounds, the people, the drivers, the souvenir stands, the food.  Yeah, definitely NASCAR

Baseball -  it is my favorite sport above all, would love seats behind home plate permanent ones!

Basketball - Always about ten rows up for the Bearcats, Xavier games can definitely see more!

Bowling - Would love to see that from the front row to observe their style. Easy to miss something in the upper levels.

Football - I would love any seat, never experienced a live game.

NICE!  Hockey is also my fave and Stripping....dude!  (rotfl)  I like the way you think!  Unless you were at a nasty strip bar, then front row would not be good at all!

Actually...I'm changing my answer. Last year I went to PGA championship at Hazeltine and being front row was awesome! And it was pretty easy to be front row as long as you didn't follow Tiger or Phil, then is was almost impossible to do. But the other golfers are excellent golfers in their own right and it was great when they drove something off the fairway because then you're about 5 feet away when they hit the ball. I only wish I could strike the ball as good as those guys did.

I would definitely do that again.

I thought you might have said Dino Zoff was one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Actually, his brother Jack was a pretty handy player as well....

Good poll...

I picked football because I'd actually go to those games.

Baseball would bore me, I don't understand hockey, I've lost interest in Basketball along with several thousand other sports fans and soccer is non-existent in Iowa.  Nascar would stink in the front row, and I have no interest in MMA or boxing or tennis.

Given the choice of seating in a football game I'd be at around the 40 and 20 rows up.  But if the front row tickets are free I wouldn't pass on them.

baseball. i sat third row at a texans game last year and there is totally such a thing as too close in football. couldn't see any plays developing. and my one chance at courtside, i ended up moving to the bar out of fear of being sweated on.

First row behind the penalty box is awesome.  Talk trash for long, long time.
Baseball is great in first row, can meet the players and talk trash (or trashy) to them.
Basketball -only if I was sitting next to Jack
Football- at home

Super good question -- I always like sitting behind the home team dugout during any baseball game at Fenway.  Back in the early 80s,WWF would tour my high school, that was extremely fun to watch, the wrestlers toned it down a bit. (Superstar Billy Graham,Magn.Muraco,Ivan Putski).

basically what sports schmorts and teach said. Plus, when I yell front row at a basketball game, they can hear me and heed my wonderful, non-demanding advice. and closeups of certain dudes are niiiiiice.

I'm thinking the only one I would like sitting in the FRONT row would be a baseball game...close to home plate.

Football, it depends on the seating, but the last game I went to we were on the 30yd line and not very far up. There were a couple of plays that I couldn't see that well and had to look up at the big screen because the players on the sideline were in the way. That annoys me.

Hockey - I like to get as close as I can so I can feel the hits against the glass and smell the players as they breeze past (I know, gross, but it means I'm there)...but the boards get in the way of some plays so front row wouldn't be my choice. Even behind the net, you don't see what's going on that great at the other end of the ice.

Front row seats at an NBA game would be wasted on me, but college would be cool. MMA/UFC - maybe. I don't know that I want to be that close though. The other sports, I really have no desire to go see at all, let alone front row.

Baseball for sure if you can get the seats behind home plate or by the dugouts. I always take my glove anyway, so I'm not worried about foul balls or anything. I get front row in hockey sometimes, but that's basically to keep the kids safe from flying pucks and they like when the action is along the boards in front of them. Usually, though, I'd prefer seats higher up to see all of the plays develop. It's also fun to be ringside at a pro wrestling event. The kids get a thrill out of high fiving the guys and seeing things up close.
