Read the Article:

    For decades the New York Yankee's had top of the line players on the team. The best in the history of baseball. The list isn't like that who are the most important not really best players of all time with every single player listed on the Roster that every put on pinstripes?

The following is a list of players, both past and current, who appeared at least in one game for the New York Yankees franchise, including the 1901-02 Baltimore Orioles, and the 1903-12 New York Highlanders.

Well he could of been on my list. But I did put the best pitcher, The best closer, The Best player. Best catcher I put some of the future also like Cano he is the future of the Yankee and will be one of the reason the Yankee's might get multiple world series. I put Joe D who was a better player overall the Mick.. I have a clue a reason why I done that I THINK I have the Mick on my other list.

Ruth was a Red Sox player most of his first 10 years, so I would be calling you a Boston fan! LOL

Some number the Ruth has live average and all the key number's I'm sorry Pujols doesn't have a shot.

You can't compare the first 10 years of Babe Ruth and Albert Pujol's you to compare them when Babe Ruth first started hitting baseballs on a full term bases because the first year's Babe Ruth was a pitcher and a TWO time World Series winning PITCHER. Babe Ruth really had two baseball career pitcher and an outfield two different things and shouldn't be judged on equal footing. But even if you did the fact that Ruth has 94 win's and 712 just destroy's what ever anyone else can do until someone gets 95 win's and 715 home run which that number will never happen for the rest of baseball history. But if you really want to compare the first 10 year you can do so with comparing the first 10 year's of Babe Ruth as a full time fielder. This is only fair really since only Ruth pitched it wouldn't be fair for Pujol's either since he never pitched in his life well in the major's that is. Your going to say im a cry baby about thing but it is the fact. Player will and have better numbers then Michael Jordan like Kobe Bryant who is not better then Jordan at all it is more product of the era. Pujol's might have better number that because he didn't pitch a major part of his career. If Ruth didn't pitch he would crush all number that not even Bonds can get. Babe Ruth has 714 home runs without really being an hitter for the major part of his career. LIKE I SAID PUJOLS MIGHT COME UP WITH BETTER NUMBER BUT IT IS THE ERA AND THEY DIDN'T KEEP A LOT OF NUMBER FOR RUTH BACK THEN. PLUS MANY OF THE MAIN NUMBER PUJOL'S WILL NEVER TOP BABE RUTH.

Pujols better then Ruth will never happen and that without his pitching numbers. His offensive number are better. As long as baseball is played no player will ever be better then Babe Ruth he is the best Yankee in History best player in History

300+ Ttl Bases? Suzuki 2/10 - Ruth 11/22 - Pujols 10/10

Here are 2 men that have set RECORDS in their first 10 years, and each are on pace to obliterate career records of Ruth, Rose, Bonds, Cobb, DiMaggio, Hornsby, etc. by the time their playing days are through. Just because they don't wear navy pinstripes with an interlocking "NY" doesn't mean they aren't significant! There are 29 other teams other than the Yankees, and until you wake up and realize that, you're the one without a clue!
Yet looking at most of the major STAT NUMBER'S LIKE OBP AND OTHER NUMBERS HE HAS NUMBERS THAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THAT NOT EVEN PUJOLS WILL GET. HE REALLY HAD A 17 YEAR CAREER AFTER HIS PITCHING CAREER AT THAT YOU KNOW HE PITCHED THE FIRST NUMBER OF YEAR'S HE PLAYED TELL ME SOMEONE TODAY WHO CAN PITCH TO 5-6 YEAR'S AND END UP WITH 714 HOME RUN'S AMAZING YET YOU THINK ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME IS GARBAGE AND WILL MEAN NOTHING IN THE FUTURE. YOU GOING TO PUT HIM WITH JUST AVERAGE PLAYERS. YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR HISTORY OR RESPECT IT. HE WILL ALWAY'S BE ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME NO MATTER WHAT.

I have WAY more perspective than you do. There were very few GOOD pitchers in Ruth's day. Less teams, less games, less media pressures. How many times did a scardy-cat manager hold up 4 fingers whenever Ruth came to the plate?

George would never had survived this era, much less dominate it. THAT is knowing history & respecting it!

First off one thing you can not teach is power Ruth had that. Ruth had country power you can't teach that. He had a few advantages so did Pujol.Like more games. Steriods that Albert Pujols uses blah blah blah.  Like you can't teach speed you have to have it to begin with.
Second he had a wonderful on base%. I think Babe Ruth could play in any area and do just as well. You about not as many team's blah blah blah. Albert Pujols had way more advantages then Ruth ever did like year round condition. Technology and advanded meds. I say good althetes can play in any area. Picture a more fit better conditioned Babe Ruth in today's area. He would kill the pitching I think as he done in the past that if he even became a baseball player. You don't understand body science I went to college about that stuff.

Media Pressure in St. Louis come on that place isn't New York City this place is hard to live in why Zack doesn't wanna pitch for the Yankee's media would kill him. Zack said he will pitch for St Louis tells me something they should get him.

I will give you that Ruth had power to get the hits he did in the "Dead Ball Era". The only ones that think Pujols juices are insane. How you can fool the constant testing all these years and STILL be clean - com'on!

Ruth couldn't live in today's New York. The drinking, women, etc., he would have been vilified & banned faster than A-Roid after he got caught! LOL

TRUUST ME OR DON'T THEY HAVE DRUGS THAT PEOPLE WILL NEVER FIND WELL TESTERS THAT IS. DRUG'S HAVE SUCH A SHORT HALF LIFE IT TAKE'S LESS THEN A DAY TO BE OUT OF YOUR BODY.. Derek lives a similar life style in this era but they have more then just beer this era crack and other stuff.

Power is Power no matter what he would have to adjust but I think he would be better. DNA he had the DNA to do it I be he could of hit any ball he wanted to hit in today's game. He would be one of the best player's in today era but both era's have advantages and disadvantages.  LOOK WHO MADE THE HOME RUN MORE POPULAR BABE RUTH HE WAS A HOME RUN HITTER THAT KIND OF SKILL WOULD TRANLATE INTO ANY ERA NO MATTER WHAT PITCHING STYLE YOU HAVE. Some of the best WHITE pitchers of that time. He never got to face CC Sabathia, David Price, Pedro Martinez, Luis Tiant or any of the good-to-great black, hispanic, asian, etc. players of his day, or all-time. It's like me claiming I was the greatest player of all time at my high school - we never faced anyone good, so any boast would be meaningless!

Blah Blah Blah Blah. Babe Ruth was the pitcher which make's him better then any other hitter because unlike Pujol's he can hit a home run and throw the ball 60 feet away. MOST OF THE TOP PITCHERS TODAY ARE WHITE THE COLOR THING CAN GO OUT THE WINDOW AND I'M MIXED COLOR IS VERY OVER RATED. Talent is Talent. Babe Ruth can play any era, Pujols can DNA is the key and that doesn't change.

You keep missing the point - Ruth played in a watered down era because some of the greatest players of all time were not allowed to play in his league. ANY record, pre-1947, is subject to debate!

I have already given Ruth credit for what he did in his time, but I refuse to deify him beyond being the best player of the early 20th Century, but not a god by any stretch of the imagination. You want a real hero, stick to the Alis in the world that went far beyond his sport to galvanize populations! Ruth was only a face man for never giving up on orphans. He would never win a Clemente Award, Nobel Prize or any other recognition beyond what he did on the field. Yes, he was the most famous person of his day, but that crap wouldn't fly in 2010!

 What you said about Babe Ruth was the most famous boxer of his day which is wrong really. The most famous athlete was the first millionair earning athlete ever James Toney he was the most famous athlete of his day. He was a famous boxer and more popular then Ruth. But you know were boxing is today so of course people don't know who he is today. Babe Ruth just in a few decades became of most famous athlete of his day it was not alway's like that. King of like Tiger Wood's and Michael Jordan today Michael Jordan as famous as he was is not as famous as Tiger Wood's or even Ali who is maybe the most famous American Athlete in the history of American Sports. But he is the most popular athlete of the Ruth era today.

The main difference between Babe Ruth and Pujols. Pujols might I say might break the home run record. Babe Ruth smashed the Record and if it about the era how come it took decades to be broken and almost an 100 years to be broken twice. He smashed every record of the day if he as bad how come no one else done it not even close. HE IS THE BEST BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE 20TH CENTURY OF BASEBALL STRIAGHT UP DUDE.   WATERED DOWN ERA STILL HAD PRETTY GREAT ATHLETE TWO ARE YANKEES DUDE BUT YOU HATE THE YANKEES SO YOU REALLY HAVE NO REASON TO TALK ABOUT ANYTHING. 1) You keep crying until your navy pinstriped in the face that I hate the Yankees. Just because I don't agree with you, doesn't mean I hate the Yankees. It simply means I don't support your ideology.
2) Jackie Robinson wasn't the first African-American athlete, not even in Major League Baseball. There were athletes long before Ruth that were of non-Caucasian origin. Blacks & Hispanics were banned from the National League and American Association in the early 1880s, with the first Negro League (the National Colored Base Ball League) forming in 1887. They were banned from the minor leagues soon after the start of the 20th Century.
3) Ruth's success coincided with the change in how the baseball was made in 1920. Him obliterating previous records gives him as much of an asterisk as Maris using 7 more games to hit 61 HR and the vast number of players that benefited from PEDs before they were banned in 2005.

Allow me to reiterate what I've said several times, yet you still don't listen to - I give Ruth all the credit for what he did in his playing career. Just don't ask me to call him God! I WILL NEVER DO IT!!!!!
