Concert Nuts (Edited 11/19/10 09:21AM by SusanVette)
Ok, so, for all of you people out there that love concerts......can you list of the bands/musicians that you've seen (whether they were the headliner or an opening act) and how many times you've seen them (if it's more than 1x)

When I was younger, I was a concert WHORE, as you will see when I post my list of bands that I can remember seeing.

CRAP?!?!  What?  I've seen bands like System of a Down, Iron Maiden, Godsmack, Disturbed, Rob Zombie at Ozz Fests and the only 1 Lollapalooza show was Chili Peppers, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. Sammy was the MONSTERS OF ROCK show in '88 when it was Van Halen, Metallica, Scorpions, Dokken and Kingdom Come.

I don't have a favorite song. I like too many bands to isolate 1 song...Plus, my music library is soo diverse....

No way I could list them all. I had 2 shoeboxes full of ticket stubs that my mom threw away. And that was just before I went to college. I think the first ticket I bought was $4.50 (including the .50 TicketMaster fee)  to see 3 bands: Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Uriah Heep. I just paid $210 for 3 Paisley/Rucker tickets to take my daughter to in January. Whats wrong with that picture?
#18 | 917 days ago

My first concert was The Platters in 1957 and about 4 other groups which i don't remember now.
a couple of others that i can remember were:
Conway Twitty
Roddy Mcdowell
Randy Travis

I saw Sublime with ROME (their new singer) this past March.......Their new singer sounds eerily like Brad Nowell.  I wish I was able to see Sublime when Brad was still alive

The show was amazing!  Best show I've been to in a long time!

I KNOW I'm gonna miss some...I'm sure I'll be back. I'll try to do these chronologically but I'm sure things will get messed up.

Richard Marx, Michael Damien, MC Hammer, Boyz II Men (2), TLC, Montel Jordan (omg that guy makes me wanna lick someone), Arrested Development, Queen Latifah, Natalie Merchant, K's Choice, Letters to Cleo, Aerosmith, Styx, Boston, Journey, Foreigner, All Saints, 'N Sync, Matchbox Twenty (3), Sugar Ray (2), Goo Goo Dolls, Marcy Playground, Everlast, Everclear, Maroon 5, The Cranberries, Kansas, Dido, Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain, Salt & Peppa', KC & the Sunshine Band, Rick Springfield (weirdass concert), Counting Crows, No Doubt and Paramore....and I know I'm forgetting a ton but I have to stop, I can't think (damn me for not keeping a scrapbook).

I've been to a lot of country music concerts that probably more country fans could tell you who they are than I could. I always got free tickets - I wasn't allowed to give them away to anyone (I had to use them) so I took a lot of my country fan friends so they could enjoy the experience even though I hated every minute of it. I've also been to 3 Lilith Fairs (I don't remember who all was there at them all...I probably listed some above).

Interestingly enough, besides Matchbox, No Doubt and Paramore, I haven't seen any of my all-time favorite bands. Green Day would be a dream come true for me, but it's never worked out.

I will have to listen to both and see what I think and let you know....  I think I have all the songs on my iPod or at least I have them all on my iTunes...
