Good Morning. It's still dark out and I've been at work for an hour. Screw this. Just got paid, already broke. screw that too! Go Falcons!

F*ck Thanksgiving...or what I've officially renamed "Jason eats PB & J Day".  I would rather be given a broken glass enema than ever experience yesterday again. Six rednecks, four kids, my girlfriend, and myself all in a house roughly the size of a small storage building...f*ck me. I literally sprinted for the door as soon as i was given the "I'm ready to go" look from the girlfriend....which caused a fight but whatever.  Let us proceed to the highlights....

1.  The food was bad...really bad. I don't like thanksgiving food to begin with but...come the f*ck on.  Everything was wet.  I don't even know how to explain this.  Wet turkey...wet dressing....How the hell does that even happen?  It was like a thanksgiving meal milkshake.
2.   How much of the outdoor living channel can you watch in one day?  Three NFL games yesterday and guess what the f*ck i got to watch for seven solid g*dd*mn hours?  How to walk around like a douche in camo and shoot turkeys with a bow and arrow.  You know what i want to hunt?  F*cking people.
3.  Drawing names for christmas makes me bleed from the *sshole.   I don't want to draw your name...if i wanted to buy you a c*ck sucking present i would.  Gah...i don't even know what your kind like!
4.  Oh..never-mind. Evidently Gander Mountain is all the rage this year.   Uh..the chances of me walking into a store called gander mountain = 0%.  Id rather walk into a Hot Topic....
5.  The post milkshake tree decorating was like watching a redneck royal rumble.
6.  I got an upskirt of my girlfriend's sister in law.  The only one in the house wearing a skirt decided to climb the ladder to put on the      tree topper thingy.  Guess who was sitting under the ladder?  Yep.  Thank jesus i didn't eat.  Ive been more excited watching my          dog lick herself.

Cant wait until christmas!

Happy Black Friday!  Slept on couch all night, waiting for kiddies to come home from "Midnight Madness".  Hope all you Q'ers have a GREAT day!
Happy Friday...
#2 | 1390 days ago

Now is not a good time to run out of anything important, like toilet paper. I am out of kitty litter and can't go to the store to get any until tomorrow. I tried to go to the store at 4:30 am for their Black Friday sale. The line would take about 2 hours to get into the store! and I don't even know for sure what's on sale or by how much. I didn't even bother trying to find a parking spot, just left.

They need to do these sales for a few days, at least over the weekend to give people a better chance without waiting for hours in line.

Playing a season right now of NHL '96 with the Blackhawks. Jeremy Roenick, Tony Amonte, and Chris Chelios for the win.

The Postal Service - Clark Gable

I was waiting for a cross-town train in the
london underground when it struck me
that I've been waiting since birth to find a
love that would look and sound like a movie
so I changed my plans I rented a camera and
a van and then I called you
"I need you to pretend that we are in love
again." and you agreed too

I want so badly to believe that "there is truth,
that love is real"
and I want life in every word to the extent
that it's absurd

I greased the lens and framed the shot using
a friend as my stand-in
the script it called for rain but it was clear
that day so we faked it
the marker snapped and I yelled "quiet on
the set" and then called "action!"
and I kissed you in a style clark gable would
have admired (i thought it classic)

I want so badly to believe that "there is truth,
that love is real"
and I want life in every word to the extent
that it's absurd
i know you're wise beyond your years, but
do you ever get the Feel
that your perfect verse is just a lie
you tell yourself to help you get by

#6 | 1390 days ago

not to sound too much like a claymated holiday special but "I MISSED THANKSGIVING!" the plan was drive into the country thursday for a friday feast but plans changed at some point and the meal happened while we were making the five hour drive. We got nuked leftovers for thanksgiving. I wanted to cry a little bit. My own families (mom's and dad's) sent pictures of theirs and left lengthy voicemails of quirky conversations so I could get some essence. HOme. Sick. And kinda hungry.

so I am up at eight on my vacation because I had taunting domino dreams. Last night we played the domino game called 42 until two in the morning and not for one second did that game make a lick of sense to me. I could actually hear the "whoosh" as each trick flew past my brain blankly. Worst part is it's a partners game and my 92 year old counterpart was givin me hell about it.

....i just want to go back to sleep, wake up at my mommas thanksgiving and have some f*cking monley bread...

I'm back in town from a business trip. Fingers crossed, it's the last one of the year.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. (Jason...that was damn hilarious....I need to get me one of them redneck girlfriends)

I found out while I was away, I got a raise. Good news: this was a mid-year raise that we were supposedly not getting anymore. Bad news: our normal raises in March are apparently just cost of living raises. Oh well...better than a kick in the crotch (unless you're into that sort of thing)

Have a great Friday all.

Good Morning Qville !

Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday - i know the Saints winning made it a lot more enjoyable

It is a nasty day on the Bayou -  Its cold and raining all day long so far and more of the same to come. Should make for one hell of a long day for all of the black friday shoppers , which is not me.  So looks like a nice quiet day in doors watching TV and playing on the Q !

I am sure many of you like me have a lot of Thanksgiving day food and treats left over , now question is can ya really stomach eating it again today ?  I am not so sure yet

OK the  meaningless dribble comes to an end .........................

Happy Friday Everybodee!

Glad y'all made it through the holiday.   Hope anybody who braved the crowds today gets what they want, with no trouble.   As for me, I'm avoiding shopping centers as best as possible.   That won't be too difficult for me today, as I've got to work (crud) but at least I get to leave early.   Planning to catch a movie tonight with the family.

Now, if only I can warm up.   I don't want to sound like Rogs, and I give props to everyone who is dealing with temperatures in the single and negative digits out there, but 38 degrees at 6:30am in San Diego is freakin' COLD!    And I'm not talking about our local mountains, where we do get snow, but down here near the coast.  Brrrr!

Hola amigos y amigas!!

I'm at work. The rest of you that aren't and are complaining about the weather.....YOU SUCK!! I had to get up early, get ready for work and go out in the cold. My windows were iced over so I had to warm up my truck before I left...ugh I hate winter!! We have been open for 36 mins and have not had one customer and only 2 phone calls. BTW, if you need your balance...get internet banking or call the automated service. I don't wanna answer the phone on the day after Thanksgiving. . Okay enough of the complaining. One good thing is I am off at 3 today so the Friday drink fest can start early!!

Good evening people! Finally I can sit for at least 5 minutes before I leave again, just stopped by to wish you a wonderful weekend and hope you had bought a lot of nice stuff today. I want to thank Jess, Susan, Pat, Ken, Sid , Scott and Joe for those lovely gifts you sent to me today, we don't have Thanksgiving and black Friday in Mexico, so getting those cute things from you was a joy. You made me cry! I mean it, since yesterday I'm kinda blue, well I'm not sad, but hyper a little bit sensitive (I have to say this is really strange for me, I hadn't felt this way since...I can't remember) Anyways,  thinking about the awesome all of you are made me feel sooooo happy. Thanks again to you all, not just the ones I mentioned above, but each and one of you that always bring a smile to my face, and some tears today. Love you guys!

Alas, it is Sunday night, and I just found out that the world has lost another jester/actor.   Leslie Nielsen, probably best known as the accident-prone Frank Drebin, from the Naked Gun movies, among others.

Jane: I've heard police work is dangerous.
Frank: It is. That's why I carry a big gun.
Jane: Aren't you afraid it might go off accidentally?
Frank: I used to have that problem.
Jane: What did you do about it?
Frank: I just think about baseball.

Ed: You haven't shot anybody in six months.
Frank: That's true. Funny how you miss the little things.

"I just wanted to let you know...we're all counting on you...so good luck" (told to the pilots in Airplane about 4 times)

amd. finally

"The cockpit? What is it?"..."It's the room up front where the pilots sit..but that's not important right now"
Happy Friday...

ewww. We've discussed this. Beasley is worse than Birdman. We'll just discard him all together. And no, we will discuss sharing him when you bring someone decent to the table to barter with.

Option one.  You can take one of these guys forfeiting all loves for Hillis. Mark Sanchez QB, David Beckham..wait.. (Mine. 4.) Lewis Hamilton F1, Ryan Madson MLB, Fredrik Ljungberg Soccer, Dwyane Wade, Anson Carter, Cole Hamel..uh.. wait.. (dibs. 5.)

Option two. We can share him.  You M-W-F me T-TH-Sat ( Sundays he is workin)

Option three. we can cut him in half.  I get the left side.

so...There are some pretty good choices in opt 1 if I ignore the F1 and MLB dudes (didn't even bother to look them up). I did google Anson Carter...uhh, hockey? Really?! and ugh, he looks like the black dude from the Matrix with Doug. E. Doug's hair. that's a no-go. Ljungberg made me pause...but kinda small, so I have to say none of them are worth the trade.

opt 3 is probably the best choice but I can't bring myself to do that to such wonderfulness.

so option 2 it is, but you get Tues-Thurs. I get the rest. Deal?

And I forgot.  Louisville defeated Rutgers today...pretty soundly...to become bowl eligible for the first time in three years.  We were predicted to finish at the bottom of the big east.  While we're only two spots out of last place, we finished at .500 and this season has been a "moral victory" for us.  I LOVE YOU, CHARLIE BROWNSTRONG!!!!
