If you could pull a "Tonya Harding" on any athlete.... (Edited 01/09/11 01:19PM by Kenne)
If you could tranquilize an athlete from an opposing team before the game so they couldn't perform for the day, who would you choose?

I'd cut off Rapunzel's Tom Brady's mane! Not so much so he couldn't play but because he's going to be all over sportscenter for days!

I would like to go back to yesterday and shoot Marshawn Lynch (Seahawks running back) in the leg with a tranquilizer dart.

Then smack Saints Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams on the head for his stupidity in play calling

Today I would say Matt Hasselbeck, for the obvious reason.   Now if I really wanna make myself happy, I gotta go with Matt Ryan. There's nothing I want more right now than to see the Falcons get bounced out of the playoffs next week.

I'd apply one of those wrestling moves like Nelson hold or something  to Diego Maradona and Thierry Henry, so they couldn't score with their hands (it's soccer not handball!)

OK Maradona doesn't play anymore, but it would have been nice to do it at that time

Well I have a very good feeling.   And look at all the good things happening. Of course like I already told you if they trade Z I will quit being a fan.  Well for at least one day.

I am sure that I am not the first person to say this, but I don't want to go "Tonya Harding"  on this person. I want to take them into a cornfield in Indiana and go "Goodfellas" on them.

Well, since 2012 is supposed to be the end of the world, and since it's been noted that the Cubs won't win until HELL FREEZES OVER, I say this year or next year is looking really good for us

Alex Gonzalez for booting a routine groundball in the 2003 NLCS.  People love to blame Steve Bartmen for fan interference, but had AG not been the stuntman for Bill Buckner, the Cubs would have gone to the World Series.

I'd also wouldn't mind seeing these guys get Tonya Harding'd

Brett Favre - for waffling more than Eggo.
Rex Grossman - Way to telegraph the pick 6 that cost the Bears the Superbowl.
Paul Pierce - guys does more acting than Leo Dicaprio.
Rajon Rondo - he's as dirst as they come, yet never gets called out for it.  He also gets too much credit.  He's a good player, but a lot of guys would look like All Stars if they were surrounded by three future hall of famers.
Matt Leinart/Reggie Bush - I'm still heated about the "Bush Push."
Kyle Busch - I don't even like left hand turning, but he's a colossal dbag.
Jay Cutler/Aaron Rodgers - both a good qb's(especially AR), but their cocky demeanor rubs me the wrong way.

I doubt if I would hurt anyone, but I would love to unplug Chris Collinsworth!

In the spirit of the poll:

Derek Jeter - He is too hot I could not hurt him!
Tom Brady - Just because
Phil Mickelson - Closest rival to Tiger and better for good reason.
Terrell Owens - no explanation needed
Kyle Busch for breaking that darn guitar (really)
A-Rod has never done himself a favor by acting like he is bigger than the game. It is known across baseball that he doesn't sign autographs for fans and he often is seen in more tabloids than Brad Pitt.

I wouldn't want to see anyone hurt or 'taken out' before the game. I'd like to see Brady hurt DURING the first snap he takes in every game he plays.

That happened against KC a couple of years ago, and Matt Cassell was born from it. Chiefs not only took Brady out, but took his replacement off their hands a year later.

If Tom wins one more SB, I will be moving him ahead of Joe Montana for #1 QB in my mental HOF.
