I put the Rose things near the top because those are based more on longevity and I just don't see a player playing that long anytime soon.

Weird list. I put getting plunked 287 times first. MLB pitchers just won't throw inside anymore.

Ballparks are generic today compared to the wierd dimensions and shapes of the ballparks of the past.  A player has to basically fall down or dive for a ball and miss for a batter to get a triple today.

An interesting list, a lot of those records are due to guys playing almost all of the games every year for many, many years.  Most players are given too many games off to be serious contenders for many of these records.
1. Rickey Henderson - 1,406 Stolen Bases  2. Barry Bonds - 688 Intentional Walks  3. Sam Crawford - 309 Triples   4. Pete Rose - 4,256 Hits  5. Barry Bonds - 762 Home Runs  6. Nobody will match Rickey Henderson's numbers anymore(130 in1982,3 100 steals season), Crawford 309 triples?,i'm suprised he's not mentioned in the same breath as Mays and Musial.
Also Cy Young's 511 wins, didn't he pitch 7000 innings?!

I disagree.  Most of these are less likely to be broken than the hitting streak.  And there are plenty of more impressive records than that one.  Walt Dropo's 12 straight hits is one or even Piggy Ward's reaching base 17 straight times.

I don't recognize Barry Bonds' total of 762 as the legitimate home run record, so that can't be considered a "record" to break.
1. Hughie Jennings - 287 Hit By Pitch  2. Barry Bonds - 688 Intentional Walks  3. Pete Rose - 10,328 Outs Made  4. Pete Rose - 5,929 Times on Base  5. Pete Rose - 4,256 Hits  6.
