our first time
ok fellow iquers my daughter talk my wife in filing our taxes online (she helped her) way to deep for my shallow mind I not hip with all this online stuff ,but anyhow do you file your taxes electronicly or the old fashion way ,and why

same guy who handles some retirement accts for us does them and files on-line.  takes him about 15 minutes to figure and file.  get the info to the gov't so they can "show me the money" sooner.

I do them myself (doing my taxes is the 15 minutes a year I feel my accounting degree has use), and still mail them, because I don't trust the online services (and certainly won't pay for them).

 Old fashioned way, a tax woman and then she files it and then they put the money into my account. 


And it sucks that Janie is ow 16 cause she don't count next year. Damn kids get you every time they can.

H&R Block does mine, best 400.00 ever spent. I tried it once f**ked it all up, never again.

H&R Block is the biggest rip offs, You go in your there less than 15 mins. $200.00
So that means they are making $800.00 per hour for the company

Husband does it online and we have always been satisfied. Friend does it through H and R  block loving it she gets her refund next friday and she called to say the 400 dollars she owes me  I will be getting my refund then also yipee!

I do it myself, then run Turbo tax to see if I missed any deductions.  I always OWE.

I'm a little anal when it comes to the government and money , I do them online, then I do them the old fashioned way to make sure my numbers jive....getting audited once in my life was enough...., whoever invented the calculator is a demi-god in my eyes...

I thought dependants were allowed until 23 as long as they were still in school and made less than 15K for that tax year?
