dude. it's so true. i was shopping at wal-mart one christmas eve, in the dvd section (can we say "death wish?") and this one chick was way too close to me. i don't have much of a personal bubble, but she'd definitely popped it and, oh god i could feel her breathing on me. i refused to move because of the sheer rudeness. thought i'd have to take the charge (eh...like that basketball watchers?) but i got smart. instead, i forced a fart that cleared the aisle.

it's kinda the same thing.

its FRIDAY...............weekend is upon us..........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WORK til SUNDAY night....................relaxing weekend.........AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...
#2 | 813 days ago

The Kings won last night-----------RETRO jersey night. I'd like them to wear these jerseys the rest of the season please----they play harder. Clay Matthews was at the game. I soooooo dig him. He got a big round of applause-----Fight On! Oh....and Brains---your girl Taylor Swift was in attendance as well. Trade deadline is Monday. I'd like a scoring left winger but not at the expense of team chemistry.

Watched American Idol------actually zoomed through it (thank you DVR). I like Jennifer Lopez. I like all the judges and I really like all the talent. I don't care what the haters say. Oh and my pick is Barbie dressing teen or dude with the BIG string instrument.

Have a splendid day. IT'S FRIDAY! Remember to put on your windshield wipers when it's raining.

i had a dream last night that i was in an episode of modern family and there was this really bad earthquake. but the person watching the episode rewound it to just before it hit, put us on pause and we all were sitting frozen in the scene, talking like ventriloquists for the rest of the dream. very weird.

i am in the process of making a very good decision. also very weird.

why is it that good deciions always take so much longer to make?

Last night the union busting/homophobia become state law/allow Scott Walker to prove how corrupt he is bill passed our State Assembly after Republicans shut down debate on the bill and quickly called a vote without even allowing Democrats to vote.  It is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen happen in politics and is why people put so little faith in the political system.  If i go on this post will contain a whole lot of F bombs so I'll just stop now.  Never been this angry before about something that didn't directly happen to me.

Happy Friday you motor boatin sons of bitches

it's cold, gray and a little snowy out today, so I am definitely not feeling being at work.. I'm ready for the weekend.
Thinking about going up the hill to do a little gambling tomorrow around lunch time, then maybe going back up to the casinos tomorrow night to watch the UFC fights. Weather permitting
The Avs play Becky's Kings tomorrow in an afternoon tilt.  It'll be interesting to see what happens in the NHL this weekend as the trade deadline approaches on Monday.

I watched about 30 seconds of the Nuggets - Celtics game last night.  I just can't do it, I don't know what it is, but the NBA is not entertaining.  I'll watch college basketball a nonstop, but I can't stand the pro game.  I think it's the players and the general attitude of everyone in the league.  I'm also trying to figure out how there is zero parity in the league.  there are 5-6 teams that realistically have a chance to win a title every year, and the rest just battle to draw in fans and break even financially.  There are what, 350-375 players in the league? And with all the people playing in this country around the world, they can't find 350 people to compete? Is it the fact only a handful of guys really care about winning? Ugh.  What a horrible league

Anyway, have a great day all, I feel like a little ska action, and some horns

Streetlight Manifesto - What A Wicked Gang We Are

When I look back, that's when I see everything was wrong
And you looked sad, that's when I said I'd write you a song
Everybody's got their reasons
Everybody's got their ghosts to fear
When I look back all I see is I've done something wrong (Wrong!)
Wrong! (Wrong!)
All I see is I've done something wrong (Wrong!)
Wrong! (Wrong!)
All I see is I've done something wrong (Wrong!)

Oh! My Dear! My tis of thee!
What a tangled web we weave!
Everyone is the one until the one falls down
Then we're all just "Please! Please! Please!"
The painted rust will only
fool the fools for just so long
Eventually, that's when they'll see everything was wrong (Wrong!)
Wrong! (Wrong!)
That’s when they'll see everything was wrong
Wrong! (Wrong!)
That’s when they'll see everything was wrong

So here's to the boys who fight all the wars you will never fight for yourself
And you can ignore who-ever you want to, but in the end...

Oh! The Shame! Humility!
What a wicked gang are we!
Like a liar looking down on a thief looking down on a killer looking down on a creep
Oh!
This sinking ship will only hold its course for just so long
Eventually, that's when they'll see everything was wrong (Wrong!)
Wrong! (Wrong!)
That’s when they'll see everything was wrong
Wrong! (Wrong!)
That’s when they'll see everything was wrong

Good Morning America It's Friday!!!

Watching Foo Fighters: Live at Wembley.  Awesome.

"A Teacher Affects Eternity, He Can Never Tell Where His Influence Stops" - Henry Brooks Adams

Ladies and Gentleman, Bruce Hornsby:

Standing in line marking time--
Waiting for the welfare dime
'Cause they can't buy a job
The man in the silk suit hurries by
As he catches the poor old ladies' eyes
Just for fun he says "Get a job"

That's just the way it is
Some things will never change
That's just the way it is
But don't you believe them

They say hey little boy you can't go
Where the others go
'Cause you don't look like they do
Said hey old man how can you stand
To think that way
Did you really think about it
Before you made the rules
He said, Son

That's just the way it is
Some things will never change
That's just the way it is
But don't you believe them

Well they passed a law in '64
To give those who ain't got a little more
But it only goes so far
Because the law won't change another's mind
When all it sees at the hiring time
Is the line on the color bar

That's just the way it is
Some things will never change
That's just the way it is
But don't you believe them

MVP!  MVP!  MVP!  Derrick freaking Rose and Da Bulls continue to show the NBA why they are serious threats to come out of the East after last night's victory over the Heat.  Speaking of the NBA, I love what the Nuggets are doing since Melo took his offensive game(because he doesn't know what defense is, get it?) to the Big Apple.  The crowd was chanting something to the effect of "We don't need Melo!"  Awesome!

The Hawks are back in playoff contention after a 3-0 win over the Preds.  Jonathan Toews lit into his team vs. the Blues on Monday and they've been playing lights out ever since.  That's why he's the Captain.

Watched American Psycho last night after the game.  How did I never see that movie?  It was brilliant.  Gonna read the book now as well.

Is it happy hour yet?

Look I'm a Knicks fan but, I've been on the Bulls bandwagon since "the decision." Everybody overlooked them in the summer, everybody overlooked them after all the injuries, now look at them! (Me and Slim Chin been on that D-Rose tip cuz he's FA-YAH-ST!!!) I put money on them around X-mas (to come out of the East) when they're stock was low. Money. Bank it. Wait till all the pieces start gellin' around the 2011 MVP (again you can go ahead and bank that too.) I'm really hoping for a CHI-OKC finals. Epic. Longshot matchup, but still...

I am talking about being a little over a week away from the start of Championship week  and exactly 3 weeks away from the start of March Madness. Also for those of you that don't know we are about 2 months away from the NFL Draft and about 5 months away from the start of NFL Training Camp!

'preciate the love for my Bulls.  Great call putting money on them, especially after Ainge traded away Perkins.  I think the C's got significantly worse yesterday, especially in low post defense.  The Knickerbockers are gonna make some noise as well, especially in a few years when they can go after a CP3 or D Will.  Chauncey is good, but he's not the player he once was.  I'd love to see a Chi/OKC finals.  Rose vs Durant?  Sign me up!

Either way, I love seeing the East being back to it's old self.  Bulls, Knicks, Heat, Celtics, etc - yeah, that's what's up!

I agree and i think the Celts gave up their size advantage to seal with the Bulls. Ainge new there was NO WAY to get out of the East without a swing man to run / defend / spread the floor against them. Makes sense, but more of a long term thing imo.

I agree with your two Idol final two picks (at least vocally ... I might start to hate the girl who dresses like a drag queen, though ... she has an irritating quality about her).    But I still think J.Lo is a cyborg sent to destroy us by Satan or Celine Dion.

Speaking of ... did anyone else see Celine on Oprah, showing off her house and new babies?  It was OUTstanding!  I hate her so much, but my god, the clip of her talking about the hospital staff calling her babies "Baby A and Baby B" was the greatest thing I've ever seen.  "My name is Celine Dion and don't ... push ... me ... cuz ... I'm ... close ... to ... the ... edge".
Jaw on the floor, uproariously laughing.  For those who care, 5:30 at www.youtube.com/watch.  If I was more tech savvy, I'd find a way to have that clip play every time I start my computer up.  Dear God, I can't stop laughing right now just thinking about it.  Whew, breathe J.

Oh, and yeah, good day, bitches.

Hola Gente.

Yay its Friday. Its cold and windy here and supposedly its supposed to start raining later this afternoon, and snow tonight and tomorrow. But I rarely believe the weather people around here. It wasn't supposed to snow at all last weekend and on the way home from going out, it snowed on the Pass up here.

Becky~I agree about Jennifer Lopez, I like her. I watched American Idol last night too and I liked the one girl that played the piano(I don't remember her name).

Charlie Sheen should not only have his own reality show, it should be on PPV. I would pay good money to watch that!!

GO LAKERS! Oh and I read this earlier this morning, I already don't really like this guy much...

I thought the Celt's were pretty much a lock to come out of the East before the move, but now I'm not sure.  If they are fortunate enough to make it out, they are gonna have a hell of a time dealing with LA's size(I think the Lake Show has one more run left in them).  But yeah, Ainge probably though they needed to get more athletic on the wing.  We'll see.

Daughter has a performance tonight, where each of the students is playing a solo.  She's been practicing hard, ought to be good.

Pirates first Spring Training game starts in 19 hours 26 minutes and 33 second. YAY! Hopefully new skipper Hurdle can turn something around in his first season. Just getting close to .500 or dare I ask for a game above?
Penguins are at the Hurricanes tonight, would love to see a f**king win.

carry on.

WURD!!!

Preach it, reverend!

Bought 3 Timberwolves tickets. vs. Dallas, vs. Chicago, and vs. Houston (home finale) – total cost? $5. And that was the processing fee.

That proves nothing, other than the fact that Bacon loves me as much as I love Bacon!

Does anyone know how long Ash is going to be in the back hills of Tennessee, reenacting scenes from Deliverance?

dude. it's so true. i was shopping at wal-mart one christmas eve, in the dvd section (can we say "death wish?") and this one chick was way too close to me. i don't have much of a personal bubble, but she'd definitely popped it and, oh god i could feel her breathing on me. i refused to move because of the sheer rudeness. thought i'd have to take the charge (eh...like that basketball watchers?) but i got smart. instead, i forced a fart that cleared the aisle.

it's kinda the same thing.
+1 Million.. LMFAO
