Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

I'm too tired to type what I think I was going to type.

Good day in the office managed to finish a lot considering 2 hours were lost in listening to the management explaining to us the the policies to screw us.

Real Madrid won there first title (The Copa del rey) in 3 seasons and during the celebrations in a Open top Bus one of the players dropped the trophy on the road and it was crushed under the Bus tire. Some way to celebrate

Happy Good Friday, Everybodee!

Well, we finally made it to the end of the week.

Our office is going out to lunch today to celebrate birthdays.  Besides mine, there are 4 others who celebrate in April.  (5 out of 8 total in our division)

I was watching COPS last night and it was one of those prostitution episodes where they take an unatractive undercover cop who poses as a hooker.  Shes standing on the side of the road basically flagging down drivers. This old man maybe in his 60s pulls over and doesnt say anything, SHE askes him if he wants a bl*w job or sex, he says he hasnt had a hardon in 10 years, they decide on 20 bucks. As shes about to get into the car, 4 cop cars race up with  8-9 undercover cops with guns drawn. GUNS DRAWN, for a lonely old man looking for some sexual healing, what a friggin joke. Lets go after some REAL criminals you stupid assh*les!!   I hate those episodes, hookers need money too!

I'm tired and a tad bit cranky.

Kings? There are no words; however, if you guys do decide to be the team you were all season (defensively strong and such) and push a game 6 (Game 5 on Saturday), you jerks better come out and play HARD on home ice. Geesh.

So, that contest my kids and I entered-----the one I rushed to do something for because the entries were due early in the morning on Tuesday------ha....they pushed the due date back to yesterday at 4 p.m -----Fers!  Anyways the pics and such should be up on the Kings Facebook page sometime today. Mine better have been chosen, or I'm NOT happy.

Good thing it's Earth Day today because my eyes are not liking light. I plan on spending the entire day in the dark.

Have a good one everyone. Remember Jerkcoasters-----SoCal is better than NoCal.

Quick recap of playoff hockey last night...
Great determination by the Bruins.  They were outplayed for the first 30 minutes and could have folded the tents when they were down 3-1, but they fought back.. Even when they gave up a late PP goal, they tied it and won in the first 2 minutes of OT.  I'm sure Marcus was pleased as punch
I owe jswol a beer as the Blackhawks embarrassed the Canucks at home.  Just an ugly ugly game if you are a Canucks fan.
And in the night cap, Becky's bois give up 6 goals again and lose to the Sharks at home.  Did Drew Daughty play last night?

In the NBA playoffs, I think some stuff happened

I watched the Kids Are All Right last night.. Not too bad, not as great as it was hyped to be, and Julianne Moore just LOVES getting naked doesn't she?

I need to decide on a movie to see in the theater this weekend.  Suggestions? And no, it's not gonna be Scream 7.  Or Hop, or Rio, or Fake Arthur.. I wonder if The Greatest Movie Ever Sold is playing here somewhere.. Hmmmm

I'm not an expert on womens clothing sizes, but I'm pretty sure Kirstie Alley is a little off when she says this demon person is what a size 6 looks like

And in case you were wondering who voted for these people (because I can't find anyone to admit they did)

i had a dream last night that there was a reason to create stickers that have calvin peeing on astros and texans logos. and they were hot. couldn't keep em stocked. but then it turned out, the only people who were buying them were not in fact fans of rival teams, but houston fans who'd just given up. it was a rollercoaster of emotions.

easter is officially over for me! 7.5 hours on a saturday of counting 19,500 fliers and brochures into 25's for elementary schools, and during the week 7,000 bulletins, easter lilly dedication booklets and other sundries, 11 swear words, 6 tears, 4 shallow paper cuts, 1 deep paper cut and 9 beads of sweat and it's all...done. easter isn't about zombies for me. it's about getting to 6 months of pur unadulturated f*cking-off time until christmas rush.

i decided i am making an earthday cake when i get home today. i loved those in elementary school. it's probably way more thrilling for classes of 30 kiddos who want sugar, than it is for a 27 and a 39-year old sitting at home playing black ops, but gosh darn it, i'm making one.

Surgery in the morning, now I go home to paint and enjoy Friday.  I hate the thought of STARTING to paint, but once I get going, I don't want to stop.  Did the ceiling last weekend, now the walls.

Hope everyone has a HAPPY Easter!

Becky, sorry about the Kings last night...they didn't show it here (Canucks-Blackhawks).   I will try to watch their next game, because versus gave us a "live look in" and in that minute, the Kings scored their first goal (I may be a secret lucky charm).  When I've watched them this year, they always seem to do well.  We HAVE to see a Kings-Rangers final!!!

Those of you who know me, know that I LOVE sarcasm and irony.  I've even gotten a good laugh (very inappropriately) over some irony in Saving Private Ryan (i've chalked that one up to stress).  Anywho....this made me giggle (taken from News of the Weird's website):

On March 30, several hours before addressing the nation on TV about Libya, President Obama received a prestigious open-records award presented by five freedom-of-information advocate organizations for running a commendably "transparent," accessible administration.  However, news about the award came about only because the presenters leaked it to the press.  As noted by The Washington Post the next day, there was no White House notice to the press; the presentation was not on the president's calendar; no photos or transcript were available; and the award was not mentioned on the White House website.

- Toilet paper (again)
- The Jefferson's
- Pie Charts
- moccasins
- pine desks and the people who use them
- Earth-sheltered homes
- Radio Shack

It's ok. Just lay in bed at night and completely clear your head. Let your mind go completely blank and then let the random thoughts flow through your head. Even tho they were down 3-1 after about 30 minutes, Tim Thomas was amazing. when a goalie plays like that, you can't really get too upset. We should have ran them out the barn, (hell Gomez was bringing it!?! Price even had a 15 minute stretch of out-of-this-world) but Thomas.... damn. Biggest save of the night was the one-timer, from the slot in the first few seconds of OT. That's when I knew we were done. That was our kitchen-sink game, we threw everything at them. Now we have to go back to Boston and face their kitchen-sink game. Ugh, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. These Habs-Bruins series always take a bit of my soul. Always. I feel for my Mom's 87 yr old uncle, Jean. He's been scream-cursing at his radio/B+W TV/ color TV/HD TV for damn near a century!!! I learned my first OMG French curse words during the '71 series at his house. LOL, i laugh, because crying hurts to much.

Last night was a little hazy, it's like I remember reading something about lips and butts, and thinking rocks and glass houses, well... something like that.

OK, it is Friday and I slept til forever o'clock today. I needed it.

Kings, I believe. I always do. Win three in a row. I'll be the dude wearing a black Kings hockey t-shirt, an inside-out-turned-baclwards Kings hat, sporting crossed fingers while burning some coned incense and dancing in a circle chanting.

Well, we lost the softball game last night. I was the third person to show up for the game. The coach told me I was playing shortstop. I guess what worried me the most is that he was serious. I have learned that there is no way I can be an atheist at 53 years old while playing SS in a softball game. I made it, and did surprising OK. I really believe the other players on the team think 'if his old arse can do it, I can do  it'... my plan is working.

Hope your weekend is great and that your paycheck goes farther than you thought.

Whatup now?
I would've been here sooner, but I had to put out a couple of legal fires. They're out now. So two quick things.  One, the 1-year anniversary of the explosion of the offshore rig that eventually turned into the biggest  worst  oil spill in our history passed this week. Our friends at BP are still on the scene (I'm shocked) waiting for us to forget. Hey Louisiana, Mississippi, and the whole Gulf Coast that was effected in some way by this tragedy. Do me a favor, huh? Drain them sumbishs dry for me please? Like I said when it happened the "B" is for British. If this would have been in England somewhere they would have plugged up that hole before you could say "Prince William"...Which brings me to quick thing Two.
Is it just me, or does somebody want  the prince to take good ol' Kate to the courthouse and get this over with? I get it.  Don't get me wrong. That's how the "Royals" roll. But can you say OVERKILL, EXPLOITATION, or QUICK BUCK, sorry, EURO!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seriously doubt it if the lovely couple will be sporting an "Official Royal Wedding" t-shirt at their reception. Hell, there's even a Pappa John's pizza with their likeness on the pie (Kate's dress is made of cheese, yummy, right?) Too effin' much. I'd bet the Duchess of York is somewhere saying, "Damn, I wish I'd thought of that. I can use the cash."
OK, I feel better now. Good thing is the NFL Draft is next week. We can think about football for a little...oh crap! Nevermind.

I absolutely love that my Hawks are back in the series and my Bulls are up 3-0(despite not playing very well), but these late nights during the week are killing me.  We decided to take a shot for every Hawks goal last night.  Needless to say, I was drunk 12 minutes into the game.  At that point, they started going down a little too easy.  Really wish I would of taken my boss up on taking Good Friday off.  Ahh well, it';s totally worth it!

I love the headline in this article.  LOL!

Hola Gente  Feliz Viernes!!

So I am on my second cup of Starbucks WCM and apparently instead of extra white chocolate they had two extra shots of espresso. So I have had 4 shots of espresso that taste a little like White Choc. Mocha. I am more than a little hyper right now. It's hard to sit still just to type this.
Once again Wiggy has screwed up. She changed her teller system to Monday's date. They caught it but not after it was too late. So she had to balance and can't work the rest of the day.  Which means I am the only one helping customers today. Kinda sucks because its the Friday before a Holiday weekend and we close at 3. She should just go home.

Becky~I watched the whole Kings game last night. At first I thought you might be proud of me, but then I thought oh no...she is gonna think I'm a jinx. . I will understand if you don't want me to watch anymore.

All I have left is GO LAKERS! And my song for the day...In honor of Dee's F**k it Friday...

"Wrong Way"

Annie's 12 years old, in two more she'll be a wh**e
Nobody ever told her it's the wrong way
Don't be afraid with the quickness you'll get laid
For your family get paid
It's the wrong way
I gave her all that I had to give
I'm gonna make it hard to live
(Big) salty tears running down to her chin
And it ruins up her make-up
I never wanted
A cigarette pressed between her lips
But I'm staring at her t*ts
It's the wrong way
Strong if I can, but I am only a man
So I take her to the can
It's the wrong way
The only family that she's ever had
Is her seven h*rny brothers and a drunk-ass dad
He needed money so he put her on the street
Everything was going fine until the day she met me
Happy are you sad, wanna shoot your dad
I'll do anything I can
It's the wrong way
We talk all night, try to make it right
Believe me sh*t was tight
It was the wrong way
So run away if you wanna stay
Cause I ain't here to make ya, oh no
It's up to you what you really wanna do
Spend some time in America
Dub style!
She'll give you all that she got to give
But I'm gonna make it hard to live
Big salty tears rollin' down to her chin
And it smears up her make-up
I never wanted
So we ran away
And I'm sorry when I say, that straight to this very day
It was the wrong way
She took a hike it don't matter if I like it or not
Because she only wants the wrong way
I gave her all that I had to give
But she still wouldn't take it, oh no
Her two brown eyes are leaking like a sieve
But it still ruins her make-up
I never wanted

No worries. I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter who watches, what chonies are worn, what food is eaten, or what school activities are performed---------------the Kings will play the way they play.

Hello everybody! Just wanted to wish you a wonderful weekend , my week off almost finishes and I'm still tired . It's almost 3 pm for me and I don't want to do a thing, woke up late, had a cup of coffee (in bed of course) while watching a movie...yay! finally I could watch a movie without feeling guilty for all the mess I have in my bedroom, I know my shoes are not goint to walk themselves into the closet or the clothes will fold themselves and fly to their respective drawers, but I'll clean as soon I don't feel sleepy (this might occur between 6 or 7 p.m. of... someday in a near future) I don't want to go back on Monday but it's inevitable, so I'll enjoy the rest of the week, I'm going to check if there's a good movie to watch at the cinema and maybe it worth to leave my bed, I'll tell you later. Have fun, take care, you all.

Jon Stewart had a pretty funny segment on that a few weeks back.  Was probably one of the better, more serious criticisms of the Obama administration I've seen.

(Hey, I'm a small guy.)    But, I'm glad I did...it was a Tilted Guilt.   (the place is the Tilted Kilt.)   Ice cream over a hot brownie drizzled with the right amount of chocolate.  (I know, same basic dish many places have, but as I said, I usually don't partake)
