Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

I went to see a man about a procedure this morning. I did not schedule the procedure, and haven't decided if I will, YET he wrote me a prescription for the pain meds and gave it to me already. Filter Error 05/12 Photo That was different, and I now love him for the day. I love House and am glad Amber Tamblyn is gone. It's win or go home for my Hawks. Pray to somebody, place, or thing for their success. Thanks in advance. Go Hawks!

Twisted Thursday???

How's this?  In Florida, they actually passed an anti-bestiality law.  O.K., so?

They worded the law so that even sex between humans is now illegal.........ROFLMMFAO!!!!!

Now the laws of the state reflect the shape of their state!!!!!!

Motivation

[Kelly Rowland]
Oh lover, don’t you dare slow down
Go longer, you can last more rounds
Push harder, your almost there now
So go lover, make my mother proud
And when were done, I don’t wanna feel my legs
And when were done, I just wanna feel youre hands all over me baby
You can’t stop there, music still playin in the background
And you’re almost there
You can do it, I believe in you baby
So close from here

So baby I’mma be your motivation
Go, go, go, go
Motivation
Go, go, go, go

Oh Lover, when you call my name
No other, can do that the same
Won’t let ya get up out of there again
So lover, dont it make me rain

And when were done, I don’t wanna feel my legs
And when were done, I just wanna feel youre hands all over me baby
You can’t stop there, music still playin in the background
And you’re almost there
You can do it, I believe in you baby
So close from here

[Lil Wayne]
Uh, girl I turn that thing into a rainforest
Rain on my head, call that brainstorming
Yeah this is deep, but oh, I go deeper
Make you lose yourself, and finders keepers
It go green light, go Weezy go
I like to taste that sugar, that sweet and low
But hold up wait, new position
I put her on my plate then do the dishes
She my motivation, I’m her transportation
Cause I let her ride, while I drive her crazy
Then I just keep going going, like I’m racing
When I’m done she hold me like a conversation
Weezy, baby

Hola Amigos y Amigas!

I should not be allowed to go out during the week. I am sooo happy its Thursday, if I can survive it! I could use another couple hours of sleep/ I love vodka tonics btw
Here is a song for today...because I would rather be in Vegas..and this song reminds me of it...
"Ain't That A Kick In The Head"

How lucky can one guy be
I kissed her and she kissed me
Like the fella once said
Ain't that a kick in the head

The room was completely black
I hugger her and she hugged back
Like the sailor said, quote "ain't that a hole in the boat"
My head keeps spinning
I go to sleep and keep grinning
If this is just the beginning, my life's gonna be beautiful
I've got sunshine enough to spread
It's like the fella said
Tell me quick ain't love like a kick in the head
Like the fella once said
Ain't love like a kick in the head

Like the sailor said, quote "ain't that a hole in the boat"
My head keeps spinning
I go to sleep and keep grinning
If this is just the beginning, my life's gonna be beautiful

She's telling me we'll be wed
She's picked out a king size bed
I couldn't fell any better or I'd be sick
Tell me quick, oh ain't love a kick
Tell me quick, ain't love a kick in the head

Yo Yo,

So I decided to go jogging along the lake last night.  Bad idea.  I got seagull sh*t all over my new kicks as I was changing the song on my ipod.  I was able to clean it off for the most part, but the thought will haunt me.  I'm very particular about my shoes.

Watched my Cubbies smoke the Cards last night.  It was nice seeing them finally get some damn hits with runners in scoring position.  Glad I wasn't at the game as well.  A thunderstorm rolled through in the 3rd inning and it was coming down like cats and dogs.  The Bleacher Bums got SOAKED.

Couldn't fall asleep last night so I popped a few melatonin pills.  Love the crazy dreams it gives me.  Last night I dreamed that I was an astronaut.  I'm pissed because my alarm clock went off as I was entering space.  I might pop a few more tonight after the Bulls game - lord knows I'll be amped up and probably unable to fall asleep.

Hope everyone has a great day and remember, we're here for a good time, not a long time.  Crack open a coke and have a smile.

my dad and his fiancee are getting married june 7th, so they decided to take me to papasitos for some awesome mexican and margaritas so i could see em one more time before they get hitched. well, by the afternoon, plans had changed to going for shrimp and patron at the turtle club (a bar). by evening we'd settled on sherlock's - no food, just drinking. it was a great time and i realized how closely to the tree this apple has fallen.

my friend chelsey decided last night that i will be the one to go with dr. f*ggot to make sure he chooses the best engagement ring. they've been dating for 2 months.

my co-worker, who is 31, is actually celebrating her 6-month of dating this one guy. they're cute, but seriously? i thought month-anniversaries ended in high school. they actually went ring browsing this weekend.

a rehab-mate of mine finally found his legs and now he's marrying a cool lady on 11/11/11 at 11:11pm. which i think is fairly badass.

but if i hear one more thing about weddings, i am going to hurl. especially wedding talk in such a short knowing of one another. i'm obviously no expert at weddings since, but i think you should have enough time with someone to know exactly how it is you hate them before you decide to jump into something like that.

i watched the land before time last night.

So you want a shooting guard? There's a position for that. It's not the point. Rondo is a good PG.

^^^^This.  I HATE Rondo, but he's a baller.  His game certainly has shortcomings(shooting and creating his own shot), but he's still a top-5 PG in the league.  Keep in mind he was basically playing the entire series with one arm.

 Morning Twizzle Pizzles!

Today it is ART---most of the day in my class and I'm not the one doing it. I get to participate though----whoot! So just a little morning stuff, math, and a tad of writing and we all will get our Monet/Picasso/Van Gogh on.  Why? Because TESTING IS OVER! And because we can.

Flat Stanley projects are due in my class tomorrow. I'm anxious to see where the little "letter waist" dude has gone. I may post pics.

Shout out to all the Brownies and Girl Scouts out there. Ignore the hate!

Have a terrific day people! And Remember-------Top Gun Day is tomorrow----Don't forget to take the highway to the danger zone!

You do realize that you're a 'rom-com' waiting to happen right? All this wedding talk and stuff in your life? The monthiversaries? Margaritas? Turtle bars?  "Ugh, i have to go to all these weddings and lovey-dovey things? i guess my platonic friend can be my pretend date/boyfriend? Hmmm."

[cue the Pink "raise your glass" song, for the girls just wanna have fun montage at whatever wedding where you fall for your male-model friend who you never noticed like that before but you just needed a date for the day.]

You guys break up in the third act and then realize (blah, blah, blah) ...you're in a wedding dress and he leans over to tell you how bee-u-tiful you look... [pull out for wider shot] pastor does the "we are gathered here today..." roll credits.

During the credits it's your wedding party dance at the reception.

(yes i have been dragged to a dozen of these.)

Got a dress (not leather).  Black was frowned upon.  So I got a pink dress.  It's okay.  I can wear it again.
My friend refused to shop anywhere but the Jr dept.  She is 38, a size 12 and forced herself into a size 13 .
Takes 2 people to pack her a*s into the thing.  I tried like hell to coax her into the womans dept, but NO go.
I don't get it. Now I have to find shoes.   I hate shopping.

Oh yeah, this is the wedding for the couple wear the groom has been trying to bone us all.   She still wants to get married.

Again, I don't get it.

2.5 games.  I think you're having a revisionist history as to what Rondo has done for your squad.  Dude balled out in the playoffs for many years.  He has one bad series in which he was also injured and you want him gone?  That's a harsh reaction in my estimation.  I realize it's the end for the C's run, but Rondo is a key piece to the rebuilding project.

Or perhaps you could of had a PG not nearly as talented in every other area and not have any rings.  You look like your mind is made up so I won't press the issue.  But every team outside of the Bulls, Hornets, Nets, Spurs, and maybe the Thunder would take Rondo over their current PG in a second.

ha! we had gray clouds hanging down around our ankles all day yesterday and even had lightning and thunder for a few minutes. but the rain we got happened twice. both were the gigantic, slow, fat drops - one last five minutes ish and the other about three. everyone on the patio shut up and just got wet. felt great!

I kinda get where your friend's coming from. It sucks that she has to squeeze herself into something that doesn't fit, but let's be frank - most of the clothing in the womans dept. looks like something my grandma would wear. There's really nothing out there for thirty-somethings who want to look hip. Maybe that's why I hate shopping so much. They need to do something about that.

I actually think the Thunder make that trade 99 times out of 100. wow that would be a fairly decent thing for both teams. I gotta hit the trade machine for this one... brb

Granted this doesnt make any sense in 5 minutes, but this is the closest could get to making work under the cap (300 something thousand for the Celts and less than 1.5 mil for OKC. throw in another team with an expiring here, some cash there, maybe a draft pick and voila. Everybody kinda gets what they want. If that's what they REALLY wanted, LOL)

I finally found a couple of stores that actually have clothing that is up to date, rather than granny style, and still has sizes for other than my daughter.  The store I used to shop in, simply because it was the only place that had clothes that fit but were F-UGLY, is no longer one I frequent, EXCEPT for work pants.  I honestly think there were enough women who complained and one store started listening.  When women started spending their money in that store, and looking gooooooooood, the other stores followed suit.  Sure hope it happens in the States.

I also know that losing the weight that I did in the last few years boosted my confidence in wearing clothes that don't look like granny clothes, so there's that as well..............

Next year O'Neil is basically an expiring contract and this almost makes sense. Houston's GM 'dork elvis' would need some more picks or cash or whatever, but still. I'm basically only moving harden for cap space, but that would let Hou flip Ariza for something and not lose too much.

Alright i have to stop before i look up and it's 9:30 pm... K, one last thing. The Minny rights to "Spanish-Johnson" needs to be in the mix too. I say Hou bites on that and Minny get arizza and whatever considerations from OKC and celts.

Now im done (ish)... going to e-mail my guys first LOL

Whatup?
Contrary to the nasty rumors spreading around... it IS NOT Friday yet. But it is "Chicken Parm Day". Under the circumstances, I'll take it.  Busy as heck so I'll get right to Dedications. Big-ups to the "Miami Morphin' Power Rangers for making the next step in their quest to the first of "three, four, or five" NBA titles (psst, Bron-Bron. You gotta win one first). They beat the Celtics 4-1 in the Eastern Conf. semis. Which brings me directly to the WTF. LeBron James, C'mon down!! Crying at halfcourt?  Really? I don't care if you start bawling cause you split your lip Frenching the O'Brian Trophy. But not after the second round, dude. And just because I missed it yesterday (may I should do a "on this date in history", or something) Shout outs to Nester Robert "Bob" Marley. Thirty years ago yesterday he lost his battle with cancer (which sux, btw). Musician, trailblazer, humanitarian. I've learned first-hand to try and celebrate life opposed to mourn death.  Since I refuse to close on a "downer", what do Sarah Palin and a pair of scissors have in common? It's not safe to run with them...

Good day, bitches.

I, too, am glad Amber Tamblyn is gone.  She's reason #312 why I don't like/trust gingers (right after "they smell like pennies").

I have a lot more, but it's either too long or too boring or both.  Maybe if I think of a way to condense it and present it in an amusing way, I'll be back.

Bulls- Derrick Rose

Westbrook is a hell of a talent, but I think they'd really consider trading him for Rondo.  Westbrook is kind of like Rose in that he likes to create his own shot and take a lot of shots.  The difference is that the Bulls need Rose to take those shots and the Thunder don't.  I often think RW doesn't realize he has arguably the best scorer in the NBA on his team.  PASS THE DAMN BALL, RUSSELL!

Nah. If he named the top 5 PGs, Rondo would be on the list. He named 5 teams who just don't need a different guard. BTW, All except one of them are on vacation right now.

I'm saying every team outside of those five teams would take Rondo over what they have at the point in a millisecond.  That means Rondo is a top 5-6 PG in the NBA - no slight.  The C's aren't going to acquire any of those players most likely(cap issues), so I suggest being happy you have such a talented player running the show.  As they say, the grass is always greener...

Top 5? IIIIIII dont think so. But the C's WONT part ways with Rondo......nor should they.

There are SEVERAL other teams that would have NO interest in swapping current PG's for Rondo. Indiana (with Darren Collison), Washington (with John Wall), Golden State (with Stephan Curry),  Philly (with Jrue Holliday) .... just to name a few.

Glenn Beck is talking about Common.  This is going to be epic(ly racist).

Edit: Glenn Beck thinks kids discovered oral sex after Bill Clinton and just started blowing everyone after that.  I'm not even kidding about this either.  He now fears kids will be okay with killing cops because of edited Common lyric that when showed fully actually is against killing cops.

those teams are all irrelevant though (they should be happy to get Rondo)...and the only one I agree with is Washington but there is major talent to groomed in Wall.

Irrelevant?  should be happy to get Rondo ....

Indiana and Phily are irrelevant? Really Ash?

Then you're gonna be shocked when both of those teams finish ahead of Atlanta next year!
Indiana is going to be a SERIOUS contender in the East next year (with Collison).  Phily not far behind (with Holiday).

I will be shocked if all teams remain exactly the same and they finish ahead of us(and by shocked I mean sad and distraught).

Rondo may not be perfect, but for the teams you mentioned experience would be a plus, and having a true PG on your team is quite helpful, especially on teams who score mostly in the paint and have talented bigs. I'm just saying Rondo shouldn't be discounted for playing his position.

Im not a huge Rondo fan. Never have been. But he has certain exceptional talents and his game and abilities are a perfect fit for the Celtics needs and style of play. Rondo in an offensive system like those in Indiana or Phily would be disastrous and make him look like a fish out of water. There is NO WAY, NO HOW that teams like the 4 I mentioned previously (and I'd even include a team like Milwaukee with Brandon Jennings) would ever swap their current young and talented PG's for Rondo. NO WAY, NO HOW

p.s..... to go way back up top and address the original thought made in this thread. The reason Boston failed to defeat Miami had NOTHING to do with Rondo or his poor shooting skills. The reason Boston lost is because they had NO inside presence. Absolutely ZERO. And thus, they were sitting ducks against a team constructed like Miami. A "healthy" O'Neal (either one) or a Kendrick Perkins would have made a huge difference in the series outcome.

Happy Thursday, Everybodee!

Daughter and I are going with members of the band (Not sure how many) tonight to watch CARMEN.  (I think that's what the sheet said)

Tomorrow, the band plays at the San Diego Veterans Village, then we go to LA for the weekend.  Ought to be fun.

Can't wait to see what is happening at the high school in the principal's absence, while Directors of Curriculum go over the Master Schedule, and investigate an incident from a while back.

Miss me?

because i did a little roadtrip to Louisville Bitches.  Met the elusive Christi Sunshine.  Very knowledgeable and loves her Cards.  Had a great tour of the campus also.

Driving in the middle of the night is awesome.  Why? no damn construction crews slowing me down.

Not much else because it's just been a whirlwind.

Go Sharks.

Enjoy your Friday the 13th, because I won't be here.

and Because I heard this song on my trip home and I felt like posting a rock ballad today:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Poison!!

We both lie silently still
in the dead of the night
Although we both lie close together
We feel miles apart inside

Was it something I said or something I did
Did my words not come out right
Though I tried not to hurt you
Though I tried
But I guess that's why they say

Chorus:
Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

Yeah it does

I listen to her favorite song
playing on the radio
Hear the DJ say loves a game of easy come and easy go
But I wonder does he know
Has he ever felt like this
And I know that you'd be here right now
If I could let you know somehow
I guess

Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

Though it's been a while now
I can still feel so much pain
Like a knife that cuts you the wound heals
but the scar, that scar will remain

Solo

I know I could saved a love that night
If I'd known what to say
Instead of makin' love
We both made our separate ways

and now I hear you found somebody new
and that I never meant that much to you
To hear that tears me up inside
And to see you cuts me like a knife
I guess

Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

 Thank you!
Add to that point that they have had no bench cohesiveness to speak of since Perkins was traded for months which in turn gassed all the starters before the Playoffs started. The second unit could not do anything well on it's own so Doc always had to keep a starter or two on the floor at all times. When you have an aging team that is a death sentence against teams in their prime.
