That was a fun show, I forgot about that one.

Mine would be Studio 60 - smart, witty, thoughtful, great cast...I loved it. I think I've pretty much boycotted NBC since then.

Christopher Penn starred in a show I think was called "The Brothers" back in 2005?? I was totally addicted to it, then suddenly it just wasn't on any more.  I know with Chris Penn's death it would likely have been cancelled, but I loved the show.

There's an Arrested Development movie coming out next year, it's been postponed and according to Jason Bateman (Michael Bluth), around a month ago, it's still in progress. Filming should only take a few weeks to shoot, but he doesn't feel that it's going to be that good of a movie.

I was glad when they brought back Unsolved Mysteries on Spike & Lifetime, but they only play it during the graveyard hours. The new host Dennis Farina is a good narrator, but he's not as creepy as Robert Stack was, and that's an important feature of this show.

It lasted only 2 yrs on TNT's summer lineup but I liked the show Raising the Bar, Zack (Mark paul goselar) from saved by the bell played a public defender that would do anything to help his clients.   Now if that was only true in the real world...

I heard that ABC is bringing back The Incredible Hulk to prime time television -

Anyone remember Baywatch, not the weak spin-offs, but the real Baywatch....that's the one I'd like them to bring back.

#20 | 1176 days ago

Oh God, I can't.  I just.  One?  Really?  JUST one?
*sigh*

OK, let's see here.

Since 75% of the cast is dead, Golden Girls is out.

Roseanne would be cool, but they're all too old now (except baby Jerry, but who cares about him ... PS - DJ is kinda cute now ... I'm off topic, sorry).

I think I'm gonna go with the biggest nerdtastic show of them all ... Charmed.

Robert Stack creeped the hell out of me as a little kid.  He was genuinely terrifying.

Unsolved Mysteries is on in the middle of the day on Lifetime too. Plus, DVR's are pretty fancy.

I never check in on that network, but I'll look for it. I have trouble programming my DVR though.

I was thinking that one too, but it would have to at least feature some of the original cast, especially John Cleese.

I thought about that...  But it would mean resurrecting Graham Chapman from the grave as well.

A lot mentioned here are good choices...  So I think I will go with one that hasn't been named yet...

Action.

They did a memorial sklt in his honor after his death, where they passed an urn around and kept dropping the ashes all over the place. Chapman would've wanted them to do that too, he died a proud comedian.

I saw a memorial for him where the surviving Python's each spoke...  I think it was Cleese who stood at the podium and bashed is old friend for being a cheap ba***rd and saying he was glad he was dead.

All in the name of good comedy, of course!

I know you do.  Didn't her freaky eyebrow thing ever weird you out?

I love Rose McGowan, but I kinda liked the Shannen Dougherty seasons better.

I watched that show, Jay Mohr and Illeana Douglas had good chemistry together and I think that show could've improved over a course of a normal show run. It was critically acclaimed, so I was confused as to why they canceled it so quickly.

I think there are a number of reasons for that.  It was originally pitched to HBO.  It might have worked better there...  "Inside the business" shows have a history of not performing numbers wise.  And I think FOX took some heat for the harsh language it used.  Even though they were bleeped out.

You know...  I liked that better than 30 Rock.  Oh well.  If they made TV geared just for me, almost no one would watch anything.

Me too. I like stuff that makes me think. As popular as reality television is, that's just confirmation that I'm not among the masses.

No, I just felt strongly enough to declare that the right answers. Besides, there are cars on the track at Indianapolis. I can't possibly be crabby now.

Looks like there's a very similar show now with the same guys (at least I saw Colin, Ryan, and Drew) called Drew Carey's Improv-a-ganza. It's airing on GSN for whatever reason. I haven't seen it yet, but I think I'll watch it tonight to see if it's close to the old Whose Line :)
