2011 AFC's Weakest Links
2011 AFC's Weakest Links Photo

This poll is about the team in each division from the AFC side of the NFL that will get less than 5-6 wins this coming season.  Not every team is going to make the playoffs and of course win the division.  Your thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

1. Captain America has a lot of work for him to do. John Fox is looking at a Sisyphean battle in an ever growing AFC West. I have told many people that firing Mike Shanahan would send them crashing to the bottom for awhile. All of that notwithstanding, Josh McDaniels also cut a swath through the city and wreaked some havoc.

The AFC South is one of the toughest divisions in the NFL. Tennessee is the team that has the most difficulties that lie ahead, and with the exception of Dallas and Detroit, my heart goes out to these guys.

Marvin Lewis aged four decades since taking over as Cincy's coach so many years ago. Who could blame him? Every time he puts together a winning team, someone or something comes along and shatters it all to pieces. Two years ago, the Bengals swept the entire AFC North and made the playoffs. The next year, team personalities took over one more time, and now Carson Palmer is hanging them up if he's not traded. Give Marv a break, guys!

Can there be a more snake-bitten franchise in NFL history? OJ Simpson, Wide Right, 0 for 4, Wade Phillips, and the Music City Miracle. In 2011, Buffalo is looking at getting through another season, not getting to the playoffs. Fitzpatrick is a heck of a guy, and Fred Jackson and Lee Evans are great players. But the sad part about it all, is something will come apart.

Elway and Fox will take some time, but should be able to put out a much better product in 2-3 seasons.  Seattle should have begged Mike Brown for Carson Palmer rather than going out and getting Jackson.  Plus on a side note, still laughing at ESPN's Mike Greenberg who must be totally upset that despite his drooling for the Raider cb to come to the Jets, lost him to the Eagles.

Seattle set themselves up 4 failure 4 getting Tavaris Jakson.  He's not a good accurate quarterbak...
