Which QB should the Cardinals go after? (Edited 07/20/11 12:53AM by Kenne)
The Cards are looking to fill in a void left behind by Kurt Warner, as a replacement to Derek Anderson / Max Hall after a failing season. There are a few choices on the board for sign or trade when the lockout ends. Which of the frequently brought up names are the best fit?

You ask me, I think that they should make a bigger effort to shore up their pass protection and their running game.

Rumor has it that they may trade RB Beanie Wells and a mediocre draft pick for Carson Palmer. I think this trade would work out well for both team needs. The Bengals need to find some assurance to fill in for Cedric Benson and the Cardinals have already shown that Beanie is no longer needed, by drafting Ryan Williams from Virginia Tech in the 2nd round.

Da cards should consider drafting another QB when the 2011 season is over...

Max Hall And/Or Jordan Skelton.... Cards Already Have The Tools They Need.

they still need an accurate passer who isn't heavily pressured when the OL fails. They need a few more years in development. It doesn't matter anyways, I can't see them winning any of the in division games this year.

Prediction: Cards win game 1 vs Panthers and drop the remaining 15.  Just in Luck for Andrew next year

Wishful thinking. However the Cardinals are so horrible they would fail even trying for the worse record in the league.

They need line help. Or a better arm.

I think the fans are getting tired of Deuce Lutui's & co's constant penalty fouling. Seems to me, they would've been better off going after a Tackle or Guard in the 2nd round instead of RB Ryan Williams (which really isn't a team need in priority).

Will Gladly Take Deuce Off Your Hands Any Time Of The Day... That Would Make Our Line Complete. But I Know What You Mean... But If You Lose Beanie Wells For Palmer, Then Drafting RW All Makes Sense...

I can see them going after Palmer, but not getting him. Look for Kolb to be a Cardinal next season, and to help them out here in a few seasons.

I think Vince Young would be a great fit there!

THEY WILL BE BETTER WITH KEVIN COLB!

But as a Rams fan, I'd rather see them go after Orton or Young.

Vince Young needs to learn how to be a passer. He's crazy athletic, but as a passer, he's mediocre at best. Despite the cannon for an arm, his middle of the road accuracy, lack of mental toughness, and bad decision making make him a liability at this stage in his young career. Take a page from Terry Bradshaw, Steve Young, and Michael Vick: pass first, run second.

Well Deuce is the least of our worries. We got the QB now, Fitz is happy, we just need a compliment to him, a decent line.... That is what kills all the time. Rookie better step up, he has some shoes to fill in for DRC.
