Morning.

Saw two movies this weekend------Friends with Benefits and A Better Life. FWB was pretty good. Mila and JT had mad chemistry together. I also realized two things------I totally remember the lyrics to JUmp by Kris Kross and Jenna Elfman is still acting (she was great). A Better Life, the other movie I went to see, was a tear jerker. I recommend all those who poke fun at or blame illegal immigrants see it. Fantastic movie. *****

I'm still pissy at our supposed leaders in our country. So much hoopla just so "job creators" keep more of their money. I'm sorry, I must have been absent during all those new jobs they've been creating over this last year (eye roll). Fers! All of them. I'm still pissed at people too! If you collect money from the government (ex. social security, etc.) you should be pissed too. They are Fing with you. I hate taxes too, but I also like some of those services that come with being taxed. Morons. All. Over.

Monday Funday putas,

Had a blast at the golf outing for on Saturday.  Per usual, we all had a few too many brews, but we also raised a record amount for the cancer center.  My team shot a -8, but we were second to a new team of ringers that finished -12.  They didn't drink though so I still say we took 1st dammit.  The highlight of the day had to be some guy that showed up w/o getting any sleep due to spending the night in the casino.  He showed up late, played 3 holes, and proceeded to pass out in a golf cart.  We called him Lebron for the rest of the day in honor of only playing 3 holes.  All in all, good times.

After the outing, my buddy decided to host a NCAA 2012 tourney.  Yours truly took home the belt after going 4-0.  Note to ND fans - Michael Floyd is unstoppable.  Curl routes, kickoffs, slants, etc....doesn't matter.  He's a beast with a capital B.

Finished Saturday night at a bonfire which was dumb in hindsight.  We spent the entire day sweating like a who*e in church, yet we spent our night doing pretty much the same because it didn't cool down.  Either way, it was a good time.  Especially Catchphrase came out.

So the Cubs managed to win three in a row for the first time this season.  Thank you Houston for being the only team worse than us, but know one thing:  the fight for the cellar isn't over.

39 days until college football people.....

This is a new story I'd written for a contest. Forget about the X-Rated part, because this is not that kind of story. There was an older lady who decided that I should mark the piece X-Rated. After thinking about what she'd said, I agreed that the book should have the X-Rated placed upon it. The first part is somewhat sexually violent.

Girls are taken out of public, and never seen again. Years later one girl would be found. After that nothing seems to fit. Her story is published, and then she is gone.

A writer will try to tell her story again, while also trying to find out what happened to her. He will find this mystery has a price to pay.

i did so much this weekend. but it was all productive stuff. so i feel like i did nothing.

i found out this weekend that the first longhorns game is my birthday and the first aggies game is on my sister's birthday (the next day). and the cool thing is, we really don't care about these teams for anything more than to give us something to fight about. and i'm all this:  and she's all this: . it was like it was as meant to be as cheese and melting process.

Morning, Everybodee!

Is it Monday, already?  My weekend wasn't long enough.    I did get to help with the fireworks show Saturday for the Summer Pops.   There is a definite difference between standing on the shore, and standing on the little barge when they go off.  You can feel the shocks go through you.  Amazing.
I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!...

I believe it was ingredient X.

Didn't get enough sleep last night for the day i'm going to have.

Braves had a horrible weekend series.  Canes fanfest was this last weekend.

There is one of those exhibition soccer games here this week, Juventus vs Chivas Guadalajara.  I'm currently working it, but honestly can't wait for the electricity of the crowd.  Haven't been to a professional soccer game since I lived in Germany 25+ years ago, it should be awesome.

Hope everybody comes back from the weekend.

To all the girls I've loved lusted before, Sam Kinison

Wild thing!
Wild thing!

Wild thing, I think you move me…
But. I wanna know for sure!
Every time I kiss you, I taste what other men had for lunch!
The only thing that can get you off is to see me in pain, but I think I love you!
Wild thing!
You make my heart scream!
You took everything!
Oh, wild thing!
Wild thing, I think you move me!
Ah, that just came to my mind – I thought I’d say it…
You made me trust you, then stuck the knife in my heart!
You’re a lying, unfaithful, untrustable tramp, and I think I love you!
Wild thing!
You make my heart scream!
You took everything!
Oh, wild thing!

Wild thing!
Oh, we’ve all had some kind of wild thing that went through our lives and made it hell.
‘Cause everybody’s had one – you, me – NOBODY likes to lose!
And you know she’s out there, laughing at you –
I don’t care if it was last week or the 3rd grade!
Someone broke your heart!
What was her name?!!!!!
Wild thing!
I’ll never forgive you!
You make my heart scream!
How do you live with yourself?!
You took everything!
You never loved me!
Oh, wild thing!
You used me!
Wild thing!
I hope you slide under a gas truck and taste your own blood!
You make my heart scream!
Why didn’t you tell me you were a demon from Hell?!!!!
You took everything!
You deserve the men you’re gonna meet, you loser!
Oh, wild thing!
Railroad bums! Transients! Out-of work guys!
Wild thing!
Guy who’re gonna use you like you used me!
Wild thing!
Guys who are gonna take money out of your purse and crawl out a window!
Wild thing!
Oh! O-o-o-o-o-oh!
Wild thing!
What’s her name?

Yea-a-a-a-a-a-ah!

Good Morning Qville !

The NFL is now on an accelerated time line to end the lockout and get the ball rolling for this season.  NFL Football is back - Fabulous

Heard someone this morning at the donut shop ranting about how the people who run this country and those put in to place by people who run things are all idiots. I find the opposite to be true most of the time , these people are far from idiots they are simply corrupt and have an agenda that serves to pack their pockets and bank accounts and don't give a $hit about whats good for the country. but whats new

Oh yea THE NFL IS BACK !

Hola amigos y amigas

I hate that it's Monday and I am at work. I am tired (didn't sleep well last night), and its been a while since this has happened but Wiglet decided to wear some Elizabeth Taylor perfume so I have been sneezing all morning.
My weekend was great! Had a wedding shower for my daughter and her fiancee. It was fun but I am so glad that part is over. It was way too much work. 2 Months to go til her wedding!
I have about $14 left on my Itunes gift card and I need some new music, so if anyone has any suggestions on some new music I would appreciate it!

Hi everybody
I'm so happy because yesterday we had a  family party in honor to my aunt and my cousin that  came from California. They are 11 brothers and sisters and just two of them were missed because they are living abroad. It was very nice to see 9 of them together, so happy after 17 years some of them hadn't  seen each other. We ate a lot! (for a change), played, danced. There was a mariachi and my aunt was soooo happy.
Today my brother presented his tesis/exam to get his Master degree, I just got back from there. It was excellent, he's so smart and he got the degree with honors, so we are celebrating again later. We are so proud of him. Yay! but first I have to go to work, so I better hurry. Just wanted to wish you all a wonderful day. Be happy, smile at least 20 times a day. Love you

Heya Q'Lets!
Not much to report this fine Monday afternoon. I worked all weekend, and read when I wasn't working. I've slept maybe 2-3 hours every night since last week...I'm either starting to hallucinate or there's something about sleep deprivation that thins the veil between our world and another.

I'm so excited the 2011 NFL Lockout has come to an end. Free agency is going to be WILD. Exciting. As a Seahawks fan, I didn't know half of my players on my team last year with Pete Carroll and his goofy ass making over 140 changes to the roster. I'm assuming it's not going to be much different this year.

I'm SO pleased to have been able to kick off the return of the Spotlight Fan of the Week. I've been talking about bringing it back for almost 2 years now...literally.

Had to cancel the cruise - but don't cry for me, Argentina. It didn't work out for a few reasons; not the least of which has something to do with wanting to be prepared for the possibility of having to use my income to cover bills if the government can't figure this mess out and my husband doesn't get a paycheck for a while. But, we're still going to do something fun for our anniversary.

I have an appointment next Tuesday to get my hair chopped and colored. I don't know what I want to do with the color yet, but I do know I want to do something funky fun.

I don't have a song today. That's ok, my post is long enough. Ciao!

Oh I forgot my movie review (duh, it's one of the main reasons I came back to post)...

I watched Limitless and The Lincoln Lawyer this weekend.

Limitless was pretty much what I expected...I figured it would be very good, and it was. It kind of messes with your head a little bit, and ends interestingly. I did hate one part though, only because it grossed me out. Even if you're not a B-Coop fan (I like him ok, but I'm not obsessed), I recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Lincoln Lawyer. It far exceeded my expectations. Matthew McConaughey reminded me that he's actually a decent actor, and can play more interesting parts than goofy romantic comedy roles. Ryan Phillippe reminded me of why he makes such a great a-hole (he's definitely a villain I love to hate). There were a couple relatively predictable parts, but it didn't ruin the story like that sometimes does. Again, even if you're not a huge McConaughey fan (I can take him or leave him), I highly recommend it if you're at all into courtroom dramas. I can't wait to read the book now. I love delving a little deeper into a story even if I know how it turns out.

Well, Day just keeps getting better!!  Got a new phone, new number..  Went from a $160 cell phone bill to $ 75 just by switching from Verizon to AT&T...  Almost the same plan, just no more unlimited internet on my phone. I will adjust... I hope. I heard that Verizon is getting rid of the unlimited internet... So, I don't feel bad for leaving them anymore.

Finally hot here, can't complain to loudly.  Off to see the kids...

Have a great day everyone...

Happy Monday peoples, it's young money motherf*cker, if you ain't runnin wit it, run from it motherf*cker all right?

So Amy Winehouse died this weekend leaving a beehive sized hole in the heart of the music world.  I don't have much to say, I wasn't a fan, she was disgusting, she single handedly tried to ruin the look of fake t*ts for millions of young girls with self-esteem issues, and she stole thousands of dollars from fans by not being able to lay off the sauce long enough to get through 2 songs at a show.  Plus, I totally thought this was gonna be Tara Reid's fate 5 years ago.. All I feel like crying out is "we wasted the good surprise on you" Have fun being worm food, whore

I watched Dinner for Schmucks this weekend because it was too f*cking hot to work outside.. and I made the wrong decision.  Steve Carell did pull off a convincing ruh-tard, but the only likable thing about that movie was Jemain Clement of Flight of the Conchords.  Everything that guy does is hilarious.  I wish I had a kiwi friend
So to wash my tastebuds I had to follow that up with a couple short docs, Love Crimes of Kabul on HBO and one about the tunnel dwellers of NYC and all was right with the world again

Sad news in Norway and reason #4,582 why fundamentalism in any religion is the scariest thing on the planet.  I'm much more frightened of people and their irrational allegiance to fictional dieties than tyrannical dictators that may or may not be trying to develop nuclear weapons.

Tonight starts another crazy week of hockey which leads to a drop in womanfriend time, so be ready for a lot of polls and saucy commenting.  9 games in 11 days.. I seriously need a break

Lil Wayne - How To Love

Cut the music up
A lil’ louder
Yeah

[Chorus - Lil Wayne]
You had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart
Never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out
How to love, how to love
You had a lot of moments that didn’t last forever
Now you in the corner tryna put it together
How to love, how to love

[Hook - Lil Wayne]
For a second you were here, now you over there
It’s hard not to stare, the way you moving your body
Like you never had a love, never had love

[Verse 1 - Lil Wayne]
When you was just a young’un, your looks were so precious
But now your grown up, so fly it’s like a blessing
But you can’t have a man look at you for 5 seconds
Without you being insecure
You never credit yourself so when you got older
It’s seems like you came back 10 times over
Now you’re sitting here in this damn corner
Looking through all your thoughts and looking over your shoulder

[Chorus - Lil Wayne]
See you had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart
Never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out
How to love, how to love
See you had a lot of moments that didn’t last forever
Now you in this corner tryna put it together
How to love, how to love

[Hook - Lil Wayne]
For a second you were here, now you over there
It’s hard not to stare, the way you moving your body
Like you never had a love, had a love

[Verse 2 - Lil Wayne]
Ooohh, you had a lot of dreams that transform to visions
The fact that you saw the world affected all your decisions
But it wasn’t your fault, wasn’t in your intentions
To be the one here talking to me, be the one listening
But I admire your poppin’ bottles and dippin’
Just as much as you admire bartending and strippin’
Baby, so don’t be mad, nobody else trippin’
You see a lot of crooks and the crooks still crook

[Chorus - Lil Wayne]
You see you had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart
Never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out
How to love, how to love
See you had a lot of moments that didn’t last forever
Now you in this corner tryna put it together
How to love, how to love

[Verse 3 - Lil Wayne]
Ooohh, see I just want you to know
That you deserve the best
You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
Yeahh
And I want you to know
You’re far from the usual
Far from the usual

[Chorus - Lil Wayne]
You see you had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart
Never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out

Good day, bitches.

Well, it seems the horrible heatwave is semi-breaking today since it was only 85.    And it's raining a bit now, so that helps.

The Second Annual Big Gay BBQ went off without a hitch.  It ended up lasting WAY longer than I expected (approximately 13 hours, start to finish ... ugh), and had a cheese-factor that was off the charts (even for one of my lame get-togethers).  However, all in all, a success.  No problems this year with the grill ... so I guess me standing by the door with potholders on each hand and the fire extinguisher at the ready was all for naught.

So I heard that some a**hole from I don't know where caught a mouse that was in his house, and instead of setting it free somewhere outside, he decided to throw it in a pile of burning leaves.   and
It's ok, though.  Karma got his ass.  Apparently the mouse ran out of the leaves, on fire ... and back into his house.  Burned it to the ground.
The funniest part, though, is that the idiot was on the news talking about it.  Seriously?  I mean, it's bad enough that you look like a heartless, sociopathic scumbag for doing that in the first place, but then you're gonna make yourself look even more stupid (and open yourself up to a lot of "you got what you deserved, *******!" comments) ... on the news, no less?  If that was me, I would NEVER tell anyone that story.  I'd make sh*t up if I had to.
How'd that happen?  Umm, err, uhh ... I was, um ... freebasing.  Yeah.    No one does that any more?  Well, now you know WHY.

You’re far from the usual
Far from the usual

[Chorus - Lil Wayne]
You see you had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart
Never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out
How to love, how to love
See you had a lot of moments that didn’t last forever
Now you in this corner tryna put it together
How to love, how to love
See you had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart
Never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out
How to love, how to love
Yeahh, see you had a lot of moments that didn’t last forever
Now you in this corner tryna put it together

Buenos Dias Sh*theads.

Life is good!  I caught more fish this weekend than should be humanly possible while learning to fly fish (which is F'n bada$$, by the way).  NFL is back, so I can continue my delusional thought process of the Cowboys still being a Superbowl contender until at least the by week.  This is week #2 of the Cactus Jack is a real live bonafide g*d d*mn high school fooltball coach experiment.  The soreness seems to be dissipating, but I'm still up for a body rub ladies.  Any volunteers?

Any how, I read somewhere that the secret to a happy life is to keep thinking positive thoughts, so here goes...
1.  Brett F'n Favre will positively stay retired!
2.  The Philthadelpia Eagles will positively not win their first Superbowl.
3.  Tom Brady will positively come out of the closet, finally.
4.  Any Cactus Jack haters can positively kiss my a$$.

Holy sh*t, I feel better already.

First of all......they have never been licked? Maybe thats why they lose so many games.

The third and last pic.......These guys spend way to much time holding there selfs. Another reason they lose many games.

I had an interesting weekend.  Went to Ft Lauderdale and drank at Fat Tuesdays and watched gay people all day.  Classic fun.
Sunday I went to the the Sawgrass Mills mall.  It is across the street from where the ice arena where the Panthers play. 30 minutes to park.
My friends and I walked around that effing mall for 3 hours trying to find a particular store to buy a dress.  Finally found it.
CLOSED..............When we came outside, we were on the wrong effing side of the mall, it was about 90 percent humidity and
95 degrees.   We walked around.  I couldn't take the crowds inside.  I needed to hear English.   I needed my sneakers and not the sandals I was wearing.  I really was ready to start
running through the mall clotheslining  the people who insist on walking abreast in large groups.  I hate the mall.

Breaking Bad is better than ever.  If you have never seen it, get the first three seasons from Netflix.

I also got set up on a date Sat. night.  Dude is from Long Island.  I hate the sound of his effing voice.  I did not give my number so
my friend gave it to him. The text count (unanswered is now 22).  In lieu of a restraining order, I may change my number. FML

When i was here a couple of years ago there was a ranking system for all Q members. It made you want to play more quizes and trivia games and all games in general. You also got points for respects and other things. I really wish the Q would bring that back.

Went to the SHEFFIELD GARDEN WALK, which is a Chicago street fest yesterday. Saw a band by the name of HELLO DAVE play. The lead guitarist is an old friend of mine from HS.

Glad that the CUBS finally won 3 in a row....not that, that, means anything except that they were the last team in MLB to do so this year!

FOOTBALL is back!  NFL lockout ends on 7/25. Just so happens to be Walter Payton's birthday....seems fitting. RIP SWEETNESS!

Who's in for a FANTASY LEAGUE?!?!?!   Although, after hearing what ROGS had to say and after seeing how a few of the people on here are not participating much in the BASEBALL one, it's probably not a good idea?!?!?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KRAMER!   I'll get you some pics posted in your BIRTHDAY POST, once I get home!

THE EAGLES - ONE OF THESE NIGHTS > > http://youtu.be/HGr6mj5E90g

One of these nights
One of these crazy old nights
We're gonna find out
Pretty mama
What turns on your lights
The full moon is calling
The fever is high
And the wicked wind whispers
And moans

You got your demons
You got desires
Well, I got a few of my own

Oo, someone to be kind to in
Between the dark and the light
Oo, coming right behind you
Swear I'm gonna find you
One of these nights

One of these dreams
One of these lost and lonely dreams
We're gonna find one
One that really screams

I've been searching for the daughter
Of the devil himself
I've been searching for an angel in white
I've been waiting for a woman who's a little
Of both
And I can feel her but she's nowhere
In sight

Oo, loneliness will blind you
In between the wrong and the right
Oo, coming right behind you
Swear I'm gonna find you
One of these nights

One of these nights
In between the dark and the light
Coming right behind you
Swear I'm gonna find you
Get 'ya baby one of these nights
One of these nights
One of these nights
I can feel it
I can feel it
One of these nights
Coming right behind you
Swear I'm gonna find you now
One of these nights..etc....

Morons. All. Over.

That story makes me happy!  Immediate KARMA!  Fn right on!!

How could you go wrong with leftover Lasagna rolled into a tortilla, deep fried and topped with more marinara and mozzarella cheese. Vic better win that show or this season will be the last one I watch. He is the best chef of the group and has the personality to be a successful and popular Food Network Star. They already have people just like the other 4 on Food Network.
Jeff=Guy Fiedi
Susie=Rachel Ray
Whitney=Giada DeLaurentis
Mary Beth=Ina Garten
No one on food network is like Vic "Vegas" Moea. Plus if things get real boring they could have him and Robert Irvine arm wrestle.

I *just* started watching it about 5 episodes ago. He's definitely my favorite - I hope he wins. He just has so much personality, and his food always looks interesting and delicious. Mary Beth annoys me, and it seems like her food has consistently been "so-so" until just this past week.  I'd never watched one of these before; I've just recently started watching the Food Network actually. I love Cupcake Wars and the Challenge shows, Chopped, and Extreme Chef. I just watched Iron Chef for the first time yesterday too. Just what I need...more TV series' to get addicted to.

During the day ID's like that for me - it's my main addiction but I can't watch it at night when Trever isn't in port. I get psychotic and start hearing and seeing things that aren't there....that's actually why I started watching Food Network in the first place lol.

I love Vic..  I DVR the show, so I try to watch when I'm not hungry or I'll end up with a chemistry/biology lab in my kitchen.

I'm watching the am news.  They have a guy who goes out and does something in the community.  Today he's doing a "bar workout"...where they use the ballet bars to work out.  The girl next to him is totally flirting with him on local television.  She's kinda cute, and she is totally checking him out from top to bottom.

I finally finished reading a stack of Anthony Bourdain books...started with Medium Raw, then the Nasty Bits, then Kitchen Confidential.  That man is almost too much for me to handle.  I'm learning some new names to call people when I get mad.

Hey Christie... I really like Anthony's No Reservation TV series. He seems like someone that would be extremely cool to hang out with and shoot the sh*t  over a few cold brews. Love his raw and sarcastic humor. One of the few NY'ers I can say that about.
Just wonderin ... Ive never read any of his stuff. Does he write in the same manner as he narrates his TV shows? He cracks me up.
