Filter Error 09/13
Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

I, for one, enjoyed watching first half Henne.

And I'm pretty sure Kat laughs at me when I am emotional during the games (which is almost all of them), but umm...she is about the same, maybe worse. It is funny.

i realized last night that i care about fantasy football a lot more than i have even ever wanted to care about fantasy baseball. it was really fun watching brady and then later yelling like an idiot at kyle orton for throwing two miles behind a wide open brandon lloyd for a touchdown. i would have maybe tied becky for the week with that. it was fun getting passionate about games i'd otherwise just not care about. i just don't like what it does to me when texans are playing.

last night, roomie and his dad thought it would be a time and money saver to work on plumbing and electricity issue at the same time. i sat on the couch watching miss universe, clutching a pillow, leaping three feet in the air every time i heard a shouted (and sometimes screamed) "g*dd*mmit!!"

tonight i just want to get ****** and watch kevin smith movies.

Why does the training department assign trainees who don't want to work in my team. The latest one has been whining behind my back to the trainers and HR, i had no idea, the B!#@* should have came to me straightaway i would have got her out myself, who the F*** wants to train. But she whined to others and it reached the boss i had to listen to his bulls#!t for half and hour. I F'n pissed at her and the trainer who went to the boss without even consulting me it's my effing team, i never asked for that whiny ass b!%ch in fact i didn't ask anyone new in my team I've already got enough s#!t to take care of why would i like to add more but no first they send her down without even asking me now you want to take her out like it's all my F'n fault argh....
It's appraisal time I've been keeping low minding my own business but this had to happen now, if the boss pulls any s#!% on me after this I'm gonna see that both of them pay for it. The trainer is married I'm going to start an rumor she's screwing somebody else and as for the trainee i hope she stays now, I've got people all over the company they will not like what has happened to me.

Que Pasa?

How about Tom Brady last night?  Dude was kicking a*s and taking names to the tune of 571 yards passing and 4 TDs.  We came to the conclusion that he reads Rivals message boards.  Why?  Because there was a thread started by an Auburn fan stating TB had never passed for as many yards as Cam did vs. the Cardinals.  Cam surprised a lot of people in his first start, but the homerish comments from Auburn nation had the rest of the board rollin'!

Here's my favorite.

Cam>Brady as a passer already. Brady is a freaking statue while Cam is the most gifted athlete to ever play the position and will probably rush for close to 1000 yds and 10 TDs every season.

Don't get me wrong Brady is a nice player but Cam is redefining the position. Done well for a 7th rd pick who couldn't beat out Drew Bledsoe though.

Gold Jerry, Gold!  The Pats better get their defense situated.  Henne passing for over 400 yards?  Damn!

Only watched half of the Broncos/Raiders game, but it was highly entertaining.  We had punches thrown, a monsoon, and a wild crowd shaking the stadium, or so it seemed.  The camera was definitely moving on 3rd down plays when Denver was on D.  I love that sh*t!

Looks like LSU may be having a hottie kicking for them next year.  Hopefully things work out better for her than the chick from Colorado.  Here she is.

Anyone else 3-0 in fantasy football?  I am thanks to Janikowski kicking an NFL record 63 yard FG.  I won in that league by the slimmest of margins.

 Morning.

It's official, I'm 2-0 in Fantasy Football--------------Leigh's team made quite a charge (freak'n Brady). These standings won't last. My players will get hurt, lay eggs, go "tard", etc.....Happens every time, so I'm enjoying this win for a few more seconds. OK. Done.

So my teach neighbor at school has third grade this year. They painted and messed with linking  cubes yesterday. She has half my class from last year---minus the ones who drove me to lose my hair. It's day 3 and she is able to walk out with her kids after school, and go home? WTF?   <----------THAT is my face when I see what she is doing with those kids (some of whom I consider mine. Ugh. ) Meanwhile, I went over idioms with my class of barely 2nd graders while they looked out and saw their "elders" painting.....in a center.....outside my class......with no reason....other than it was a center.

I can't wait till the new guy starts going into all of our rooms.

Have a lovely day. Remember to smile at someone you like.

Tiger Pride may be a slight homer(something most of us are guilty of one here- myself included), but he pales in comparison to some of the guys over on Rivals.

We have some ND fans that make Lou Holtz look like casual fan...and we're 0-2.  It's a cesspool and I love it.

Whatup?
I missed little Tommy Brady break  the Monday Night passing record. 517 yards? That's a bunch (Brady,? Bunch? Nevermind.) I had to cover the other sports action from last night. That's right,  the Miss Universe Pageant. Had to take one for the team. Besides I got to watch the Raiders Broncos game.
Shout-outs to Miss Angola for winning the title She is deserving, but I had to vote for Miss Colombia. How come? I'm glad you asked. It seems she was in hot water with the Pageant Big Shots for "going commando" at public functions. What perverted judge "did the research" to get this information, I wonder? So she gets Big ups from me...in the name of freedom. WTF goes out to Donald "Skunk" Trump for scheduling this event on the same night as week one of Monday Night Football. Communist.
In closing, I didn't see Brady brake the MNF record, but I did see an NFL record (tying) feild goal. I'll take it.

* Watching Tom Brady last night was awesome, and then I realized I was playing against him in my main fantasy league.  The main culprit in my 105-104 loss.  The other you may ask? Darren McFadden c*ckteasing me with a 47 yard run to the one yard line last night and not getting the call to pound it in afterwards.  Then the Raiders put in Michael Bush to run the clock out.. All I need was 10 more rushing yards to win.. F*ck
* The Broncos... ugh... For a little while this preseason there was a hint of optimism.  Then last night came around.  The offensive line was completely dominated by the Raiders front four.  Orton had to hurry throws or throw balls away just because he didn't have the time to let his receivers run their routes.  Also, the Broncos D couldn't get consistent pressure on the QB and couldn't make big 3rd down stops when they had to.  But how awful was that fumble by Orton on the play action? My head hurts.

Renos continue - I'm going to be a basket case by the time they are done.

Went to the doctor Friday.  He said I am in the best shape I have been in in ten years or more.  No medications whatsoever necessary, meaning I can save an extra $50 a month.

I woke up this morning with a swollen right eye.  It has gone down a bit now, but still looks awful to me.

I didn't get to watch football last night.  The fam outvoted me on America's Got Talent results, which we didn't see when it aired last week.

My daughter is in high school now, and her teacher is a friend of mine, so she is getting called names.  Mac (the teach) calls on my daughter to help her right now, until she gets to know the other kids.  Kids sure can be stupid tho when they hit that age.

Staff tourney at the golf course this Sunday.  Gonna be great - I won all the skill prizes for the ladies last year

Everyone have a great day, and do some random nice thing for some random idiot who wouldn't otherwise give you a second look.  It just stuns them!

Anniversaire of Tupac's death. I actually remember where I was. sad. My favorite Tupac song (condensed):

Hit 'Em Up
First off, f*** your bi**h and the clique you claim
West side when we ride, Come equipped with game
You claim to be a playa, but I f**ked your wife
We bust on Bad Boys, *****s f**k for Life
Plus Puffy tryin' to see me, weak hearts I rip
Biggie Smalls and Junior Mafia
Some mark a*s bi**hes
We keep on coming, while we running for ya jewels
Steady gunning, keep on busting at them fools
You know the rules
Little Ceasar go ask you homie, How i'll leave ya
Cut your young a*s up
See ya in pieces, now be deceased
Little Kim, Don't f*** around with real G's
Quick to snatch your ugly a*s, off the streets
So f**k peace, I'll let them *****s know
It's on for Life, Don't let the west side
Ride the night (ha ha)
Bad Boys murdered on wax and killed
f*** with me and get your caps peeled
You know, See

[Chorus]
Grab your glocks when you see Tupac
Call the cops when you see Tupac, Uhh
Who shot me, But you punks didn't finish
Now, you 'bout to feel the wrath of a menace
*****, I hit 'em up

...Puffy weaker than the fuckin block I run on you *****,
and I'll smoke ya junior mafia in front of you *****
With the ready power tuckin my Guess under my Eddie Bauer
ya clout, pretty sour I get packages every hour
and hit em up
[Chorus]

....Talking about you Getting Money
But its funny to me
All you *****s living bummy
While you f**king with me?
I'm a self made Millionaire
Thug livin', out of prison
Pistols in the Air {Air} (Ha Ha)
Biggie remember when I use to let you sleep on the couch
And beg the bi**h to let you sleep in the house
Now its all about versace
You copied my style
Five shots couldn't drop me
I took it and smiled
Now I'm back to set the record straight
With my A-K, I'm still the thug that you love to hate
Mutha-f**ker I'll Hit 'Em Up

...You'se a beat biter
A Pac style taker
I'll tell you to face, you ain't nothing s**t but a faker
Softer than Alize with a chaser
'bout to get murdered for the paper
Idi Amin approach the scene of the caper
Like a loc, with little Ceas' in a choke hold
Toting smoke, we ain't no mutha-f**kin' joke
Thug Life, *****s better be known
Be approaching In the wide open,
gun smoking, No need for hoping
It's a battle lost, I got em crossed
as soon as the funk is popping off
*****a, I hit 'em up

Now you tell me who won

(a whole bunch of serious talk. my favorite part but I can't post all that)

We the realist
f**k 'em.
We Bad Boy killas.

If not for bonehead plays only made by teams like my Cubbies, Michigan wouldn't of been in the game.  Like I said - congrats on the win.  Michigan took advantage of our numerous unforced miscues and I tip my cap to them.  But even the biggest Michigan homers(friends of mine that actually attended the school and aren't blinded like most WWs) can admit the better team lost.  It happens.

And Rudy, I'm not worried about gaining your respect.  It bothers me a tad when rational, level headed fans disregard my statements, but not homers such as yourself.

It's pretty common around these parts.  I make a point to hit a favorite market of mine every few months.  Not only is it great, it's really healthy as well.

It's possible.  Have a bunch of friends that went to both schools and it's ND's bye week.  I should be able to score some tix relatively cheap.  If both teams are 6-0/5-1, it could very well happen.

East Lansing is my favorite place to tailgate outside of South Bend.

It's available in restaurants, but I can't say I've seen it in the supermarket.
Then again, I generally don't go looking for buffalo meat either, so, there's that.

when i see this michigan/michigan state/notre dame/red wings match go on, i always hear this in my head:

people will say we're in love - rogers & hammerstein's oklahoma (hook 'em)

LAUREY

Why do they think up stories that link my name with yours?

CURLY

Why do the neighbors chatter all day, behind their doors?

LAUREY

I know a way to prove what they say is quite untrue.
Here is the gist, a practical list of "don'ts" for you.
Don't throw bouquets at me
Don't please my folks too much
Don't laugh at my jokes too much
People will say we're in love!
Don't sigh and gaze at me
Your sighs are so like mine
Your eyes mustn't glow like mine
People will say we're in love!
Don't start collecting things
Give me my rose and my glove.
Sweetheart they're suspecting things
People will say we're in love.

CURLY

Some people claim that you are to blame as much as I.
Why do y' take the trouble to bake my favorite pie?
Grantin' your wish, I carved our initials on that tree.
Jist keep a slice of all the advice you give so free.
Don't praise my charm too much
Don't look so vain with me
Don't stand in the rain with me
People will say we're in love!
Don't take my arm too much
Don't keep your hand in mine
Your hand feels so grand in mine
People will say we're in love!
Don't dance all night with me
Till the stars fade from above.
They'll see it's alright with me
People will say we're in love.

No, there will usually be 2 of the same stories at one time and I was wondering if it was just generated from somewhere, or should I really be doing some work. Good, work avoided. I rarely read them anyway.

First half Henne................LOL   I will share that with my Facebook group-Chad Henne Sucks.  Always taking new members

The defense (ha) was offensive to me.  Good thing I had a huge supply of beer on hand.   I passed outfell asleep during the
Raiders game and woke up at 6:15 with the tv on.  Hate that.   I sound like Marge Simpsons sister this morning.  I am sure the
neighbors know how this whole house feels about the Dolphins today.  Tom Brady or little Welker (nice trade Dolphins) need to go
on the DL  or the East is wrapped up.

Publix sells buffalo meat in the frozen section.   $pendy.....

Well technically the team leaders are also able to have some say over what gets posted up there. If you write a hotlink or see one that has your team tagged, you'll see a thing at the bottom of that little blurb area that says "Feature Hotlink". If a team leader clicks that, it gives them the ability to feature that hotlink on the team page and I'm pretty sure it also shows up on the top area of the homepage where their team is as well :)

I don't understand this.

I recently listed the top NFL QB in another FE poll, and Tom Brady was #1.

I'm an Auburn fan, have been, and always will be. As a child with Alabama having success it wasn't easy. (1992 Bama wins the championship. 1993 Auburn goes unbeaten, but was on probation.) I have the AU tattooed on my arm so we'll be together until my dying day.

Cam Newton - Last season I was asked along with other Auburn writers to list the top 50 Auburn players of all-time, and Cam Newton wasn't at #1 on my list. Perhaps you can guess who was, but Cam was at  #2. Not just by myself but averaged among all the Auburn writers.

The quote in question wasn't written by me. I do think Cam Newton will be a legit QB. I say this because everyone outside of Auburn thought he'd end up being a TE or WR. I didn't need to see Newton light-up the Cardinals secondary to know he had the goods to succeed in the NFL.

I am an Auburn fan - That has nothing to do with Cam Newton. In fact I've been a fan of the Tigers before Newton was even born.

Good Afternoon, (I think) Everybodee!

Well, our school principal is at it again.  This morning in a meeting with the director and one of the colorguard coaches from last year( who was let go-long story), the principal is holding some funding from the band.    This is supposed to be a stipend to the director from the district to help pay for drum sticks, colorguard flags, help pay for coaches, etc.    But the principal has to sign for it.  Now, she has decided to keep it for other reasons.    Trying to set up a meeting with the superintendent to resolve this (in the band's favor)

I get lost on IMDB from time to time (daily), and here are a few things that I will be avoiding in the next few months.

- Chelsea Handler is having a television show loosely based on her life, played by Laura Prepon. Real Chelsea is going to play fake Chelsea's "older, wiser" sister, Sloane.

- Eddie Murphy is most known for 'Norbit', according to the site. Coming in January he is starring in a movie called "A Thousand Words" - synopsis: "A blasé guy learns that he has only 1,000 words left to speak before he will die.".

- Opening this week is a Sarah Jessica Parker movie and a remake to Straw Dogs. Gross.

- Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star is currently a 2.4 on imdb, 12/100 on MetaCritic, and 0% on RT. All too high.

As far as the good; there's no way I'm not seeing Lion King in 3D. Citizen Kane 70th Anniversary CE Blu-Ray is available. The Rum Diary comes out in a month and a half.

Probably a film Janet would like to see, from the trailer, I'm a little weirded out - titled "3", is about a 40-something couple who, separately, fall in love with the same man. Then their slogan for the film is "Imagine the Possibilities".

I'm so excited. Kiernan's bday is Thursday and she's decided that she wants to celebrate Friday by going out to dinner at Hard Rock and then to see Lion King 3D. Sounds good to me. I ordered her present at the perfect time; it's supposed to be here on her bday. We got her a microscope with a case and all sorts of extras, plus some more prepared slides and a book about how to recognize different microscopic organisms etc. She's gonna be thrilled. Then her daddy gets home this weekend (he's been gone three weeks...I realize I have no room to complain because most branches of the military deploy for much longer, but I can't help it - I HATE when he's gone this long).

Then the following week I get my hair and nails done (nails -YAY!) on Thursday and the concert is on Friday.

There's a gecko on my ceiling. That's not a euphemism.

We have acreages that raise buffalo right in our area, so we can buy buffalo meat the same as beef, pork, poultry.  A couple of years ago, some escaped and the owner couldn't recapture them, so he gave a few people permission to slaughter them for their own use.  Because I have a walk in cooler, which our neighbor used, I gained about 300 pounds of steaks, burgers, sausages, and jerlky.

Buffalo meat is easy to find here, if you know where to look.  There's a big buffalo farm next county over and they supply several restaurants in the area.  But you're not going to find it just anywhere.
