Movie Mania 7
So, Let's try this again despite my almost losing my Q baby daddy, a stalkee, and whatever HE is. I did develop a new girl crush, so that may have been worth it.  I will list 10 of MY 1,786 favorite movies and what I would like you to do is rank them best to worst in order. Simple, right? There is no other option since I only want your opinion on the movies listed. You are welcome to write in some clever Beaneaters option but no one really cares. Also, if you haven't seen ALL or at the very least 7 of the movies, don't vote. Just post something that will make me totally disregard your opinion.

*If your number one doesn't match mine or someone else's, I/we/they/reserve the right to publicly mock you.

Wow, I have actually seen and liked 6 of these movies! I guess Ash doesn't only watch crap. As for my bottom 4, I do have a desire to watch 300, I just have never done it. So 300 could move up the ladder if I ever watch it and it actually is good. As for the last 3, no desire to see them ever, so they will be staying at the bottom.

Gladiator is the most honest out of these.

the two towers is better.

Percy Jackson is good but not a great book adaptation.

Haven't seen the Patriot.

The Patriot really exceeded my expectations.  Great flick!

Gladiator is my sh**, though.  When it came out, my roommates and I went to see it for something like 6 days in a row.  Man I miss the carefree days of college in which the next door neighbor girl worked at the theater.

I friggin LOVE Troy - it will always and forever be in my top 3 favorite movies of all time.

I hate 300...I know that's not a popular opinion here but I can't help it.

Clash of the Titans was great when it first came out, and I enjoyed it, but now it's like comedy to me.

I loved all of the rest of them here too, and on any given day my list #2 - #8 could probably be in any order.
1. Troy  2. Gladiator  3. Pirates of the Caribbean: Black Pearl  4. Percy Jackson and the Olympians...  5. Braveheart  6. The Mummy  7. The Lord of The Rings: Fellowship  8. The Patriot  9. Clash of the Titans (1981)  10. 300

I love the artistic direction of all of the LOTR movies (Fellowship is one of the most aesthetically beautiful movies I have ever seen) and I'm anxiously awaiting the first installment of THE HOBBIT, which is due out Dec. 12.  The 2nd is due out next year.

Three of these movies have my future husband in them.

This was hard but Troy is too low. Also, I've seen Braveheart once, never again...I probably should've put it lower. I wanna do-over.

Are you high?

How in the world can you like either of those over BRAVEHEART?  Is it just because Mel isn't 'prettied' up like Brad and Crowe?

Those two together can't touch the greatness of William Wallace.

You're my girl but man...not even going to comment on the other 2 you have ahead of it. :)

So, it's my turn to argue with you? Ugh. I have only seen it once and never again! It's lower because of that simple fact. I have no desire to re-watch it. On the other hand, I have seen all of the other ones multiple times, and I really could watch some of them daily and/or weekly. It was good, but it's not my favorite. The list was hard so I kinda had to rank them by watchability. Settle down, Elvis.

OMG, You PQ'd me.... And uhh, if this was based on looks, Johnny Depp would be first, second, and third.

Well, since I've known you longer on here than most have been on here...it had to happen. :)

Ok, I guess I'll have to understand.  My wife who loves it won't watch it again either but loves watching Gladiator over and over.

Loved Gladiator, and Black Pearl. I was amazed at how good both of these  were, story-wise. Gladiator...great story of a man's redemption, Black Pearl, a non-stop high, with an amazing turn by Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow...one of my all-time favorite movie characters.

I heard someone once say that The Patriot, Braveheart and Gladiator were pretty much all the same movie just set in different times.  But only the Patriot didn't die in the end.

(No one complain of spoilers...  Those movies are at least 10 years old!)

Since I was named after the Trojan War, I'm glad that "Troy" was a well made film.

Mel did almost pull the same movie off in the Patriot but compared to BRAVEHEART, it pales in comparison.
