Morning.

I didn't do much this weekend. Watched the Kings go 1-1 in Europe. Watched Catfish----------I don't get the hype. Watched Happy Gilmore and Anchorman-----brought me back to a good place after Catfish. Then I watched football and the hockey game in Winnipeg----hope Cammy is better soon,  yesterday. Oh......drafted another NHL fantasy team. I have Frankenberry so I'm happy. All this non-activity and I still end up with a paper cut and two blisters on my right hand. WTF? Lipton Green Tea----You fools are prejudiced. Obviously your drinks aren't recommended for old folks or those with the shakes.................since it takes forming a blister to open your product. Jerks.

Have a lovely day.

I've lost my voice...Rise Against rocked Calgary last night and Tim Mcllrath admitted that he woke up in the morning with a wracked voice. It didn't matter much, the crowd carried him through out the night. It's amazing how Rise's followers know the words to every one of their songs no matter how obscure the song. Awesome time...

It's turkey day in Canada...I'm undecided as to whether I should loosen the belt or go buy a pair of low rise jeans and just let my gut hang over.

The Raiders win in a game in which it looked like both teams tried to lose it in the last 5 minutes. The tide rolls again (somewhat unimpressively though) and it looks like that November 5 date with the tigers will be huge...

A) Transformers: Dark of the Moon is now the 4th highest grossing movie of all time.. WTF? That many people actually went to see it? After probably watching the first 2? Please somebody who paid hard earned money to go see it, tell me why you chose to do so.. Thank you in advance

B) Went to the Avs game saturday night.. The ceremony for Peter Forsberg was awesome The crowd was in it Everyone still hates the Red Wings and Todd Bertuzzi The beer was fantastic But the Avs lost
On a bright note, we celebrate Columbus Day with an afternoon tilt between my two favorite teams, the Avs and Bruins

C) After watching The Eagles game yesterday, I'm convinced karma is interacting with Michael Vick and their season.. There is no other way to explain some of the bounces and breaks the Bills got, and STILL managed to come close to losing that game

D) is for Detroit.. Your city may be a s**t hole, but your sports teams are playing well

E) I couldn't care less if the NBA comes back or not.. Surprisingly enough is the blase attitude of 95% of the country

Now let's see if I can please Ashlie with my song choice.. If not, f**ck it, this song oozes awesomeness

The Outfield - Your Love

Josie's on a vacation far away
Come around and talk it over
So many things that I wanna say
You know I like my girls a little bit older

I just wanna use your love tonight
I don`t wanna lose your love tonight

I ain`t got many friends left to talk to
Noone`s around when I`m in trouble
You know I`d do anything for you
Stay the night, but keep it under cover

I just wanna use your love tonight, woh!
I don`t wanna lose your love tonight

Try to stop my hands from shaking
Something in my mind`s not making sense
It`s been awhile since we`ve been all alone
I can`t hide the way I`m feeling

As you leave me, please, won't you close the door
And don`t forget what I told you
Just cause you`re right, that don`t mean I`m wrong
Another shoulder to cry upon

I just wanna use your love tonight, yeah
I don`t wanna lose your love tonight
Yeah, I just wanna use your love tonight
I don`t wanna lose your love tonight
I just wanna use your love tonight
I don`t wanna lose your love tonight

(Use your love, lose your love) Your love
(Use your love) Well I don’t wanna lose
(Lose your tonight) I don’t wanna, I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna lose (Use your tonight) Your love
(Lose your tonight) Your love, your love
(Use your tonight) Your love
(I don’t lose your love tonight) Aaaahh
(Use your tonight) Your love

Had our turkey last night and it was totally f**king awesome.  I cook a great bird if I do say so myself.  We were all so full all we could do was lie all over the couches and groan.  We WERE going to play Just Dance on the Wii to burn off the extra calories but no one had the energy.   Today I want to go quadding, and I still might, if it warms up enough.  If not, I'll take the chilluns and go to the pool.

Was disappointed for the Jets and their fans last night, but realised if they are true hockey fans, they'll still keep coming to the games and cheering on their team.  The DC Rage (my home town hockey team) is in the cellar - way in the cellar, but my daughter and I still go to their home games and cheer loudly, and wear their gear.  My daughter even made a sign for my truck to cheer them on.  Last year was their first year in the League and they lost a whole bunch of games, but managed to win a few as well.  Of course, our goalie won a scholarship and moved to the States and the two we have now, although decent, aren't nearly as effective.  One keeps grinning at my daughter and waving every time the puck is at the other end.  *sigh*

I had to serve my friend's ex husband yesterday.  He hasn't been conforming to the terms of their agreement as far as the kids are concerned.  His buddy chased after me and told me what he though of me.  Glad I had my son with me.

Hope everyone has a great day.  I'm hoping when I return to work tomorrow the store will magically have been transformed.

Whatup?
After the Yankees lost, I was ready to quit baseball cause I had football to fall back on. Didn't care about the NBA lockout, cause I had football. Good thing I'm already a lush, cause the Texans would drive me to drink. So much so, I banned my own comment in the Sports Bar. I kind of expected Oklahoma to punch the Longhorns in the mouth. But (once again) I can't help but be a little upset about yesterday's action. The Raiders did what they had to do and won a good game. The Texans simply folded at the end (again). In the famous words of one Forest Gump, "That's all I have to say about that."

Morning Q'ers!  It's nice to be back in the old avatar

One last time...the KINGS are a GREAT team.  For those of you wondering, the OTHER GREAT hockey team...the RANGERS, lost to the Kings on Friday.  Last season, the RANGERS beat the Kings in a shootout and Teach had to post the RANGERS are a GREAT team in all of her posts for the weekend.  We agreed to have that bet again this year...I wish that they played again later in the year, because the RANGERS are a great team.

Fantasy football not looking too good for me this week....may get skunked...0 for 7...and one team I have went up against a guy who didn't change his lineup...he only had 5 players (but when those players are Garcon, Green-Ellis, Arian Foster....)

Working today....not a "REAL" holiday for me...those are New Years Day, Christmas, Memorial Day, 4th of July Labor Day and Thanksgiving.  Got a full boat of patients today.  Gotta Fix Feet!

This one's for Kat..."Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue"

Have fun!

1) The death of Al Davis was truly sad, but worse was a loss to the Raiders that probably ended Mario Williams season.

2) Auburn fell apart against Arkansas, and although I didn't think they'd beat them, the first half had me believing there was a chance.

3) I'm now if 1st place in the NCAA fantasy league, and with the toughest schedule rank too. The Dream Machine could pull into a first place tie if his team beats me, and that would likely make it a 3 way tie with (Kevin) No Pryor Knowledge.

4) In the NFL league I'm coming off the closest loss in my fantasy career (0.8 points). Now with a 10 point lead, and Matt Forte playing for my opponent tonight, I could be in for another very close game.

5) War Eagle, and have a nice day!

So this weekend, myself and around 300 other folks in the" Mob" had our first meeting for Occupy Palm Beach.
Only a few made me raise an eyebrow,  one guy who dressed like Johny Depp in Pirates of the Caribean and the usual drum circle
types.     Actually, got some news coverage.      Some people wanted to go protest in front of Rush L house, but the police
were out in force on the Island.   I say next time we storm the beach.  Just kidding.

My favorite video of the weekend on Wallstreet........a lil Geraldo.......www.youtube.com/watch

 A) - I didn't go see it but I wanted to, not because the first two were awesome movies, but they were fun mindless action flicks and I did like 'em. 1 - I love going to the theater for the whole experience. 2 - I prefer action flicks in the theater. 3 - Megan Fox was NOT in this one. 4 - My daughter loves them (she wants one) and there aren't a lot of movies that aren't KID movies to take her to.

There are probably more reasons I'm forgetting, but I had a late night and I have a headache.

Hola Q'Lets!
I don't have a rant.
That Seahawks game stressed me the eff out yesterday. Two of our RBs who aren't known for allowing turnovers fumbled in the end zone, so that was a mess...and the penalties! Oye. But, fortunately Eli threw a few dookie throws and other than the 2 ridiculous one-handed catches by Cruz, the Seahawks were able to capitalize on that. Something my team has struggled with for as long as I remember. So other than the penalties and turnovers, I really liked what I saw this game from them. Even if they'd lost, I see a bright future for this young team...as long as PC doesn't do 200 more roster moves, and they keep working together to play to their potential. But Doug Baldwin!! How the crap did that guy go undrafted? I'm not complaining, I'm just surprised.

In my opinion this is the best movie of the series. You can tell Bay put a lot more thought and creativity into the scenes, they were similar to the first movie, but more of them. T1 had a awesome opening scene at the military base and a few others that stand out. T2  was sloppy and generic. All you really remember is a forest fight and a lot of running around in Egypt. This Transformers movie had more care put into it. There are several stand out scenes such as the parachute jumpers, collapsing building (watching Chicago being destroyed is worth it alone), and many more. The action really was in a league of its own, all shot and edited very well. This is also the third (and presumably final) movie in Bay's trilogy.  I'm a Transformers geek.

Rosie Huntington Whitely didn't hurt either.

Good day, bitches.

I want to start my own orchard.  I went apple picking with some of my bois yesterday, and it was a little crazy.  The place was so packed that there was a line to get in about 50 cars long.  People were parking on the grass next to the road, uphill.
I can't imagine the money this place must make between the apples, pumpkins, and variety of other pick-your-own fruits/veggies/flowers they have available.  Especially when you get big dumb stupid idiots (like me) who go in and walk out with a(nother) pumpkin, a gallon of apple cider, red currant jelly (mind you, I'm not even 100% sure what currants are, much less if they're any good, whole or jelly-fied), and 16lbs. of apples.  Literally.

Which leads to my next question ... what the F**K am I supposed to do with that many apples?  So I'm eating one now.  But at this rate, I'll be done by about April.  We made an apple pie, and some applesauce yesterday (yes, I can be pretty domestic ... f**k you), but I'm thinking an impromptu apple bob at the Big Gay Halloween Extravaganza might be in order.

Speaking of ... since my BFF of like 20000 years has decided he will NOT be attending my Big Gay Halloween Extravaganza this year, and I'm mad at him for it, I've decided to openly make fun of his spelling mistake via text message today.  Which is so uncharacteristic of me, as you all know.

Lenny:  ugh, I've got a placement down in delaware today
J:  sucks for you
Lenny:  yeah I've gotta go to cape may and take a fairy across the river to delaware
J:  you might wanna take a moment to think about what you just said

I went to Uproar Fest on Saturday (3 Days Grace, Seether, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for my Valentine, & Sevendust). The show rocked, I got into a fight with some d*uchebag that was moshing into me and made me spill my $12 beer cup. He was pissing these hot girls off too, and I wounded up picking them up as a result of knocking his ass into gate. It was a great way to end my 20's.

Joanna Pacitti: "Just When You're Leaving"

Im watching you turning away
wish i could turn back the hands of time to yesterday
i know i was wrong
i made a mistake
now the only one i love is going away

(chorus)
just when youre leaving
just when youre leaving
if i could find the words to say
that wont make you stay
just when youre leaving
just when youre leaving

i played you just like a game
but this player plays the fool at the end of the day
i know that i changed
i wish i had proved
wish that i could make you see what im going through

(chorus)

(bridge)
i wish that you would understand
i dont understand myself
i guess im way too complicated
i wish that you would take my hand
see that there is no one else - oh

(chorus)

just when youre leaving
just when youre leaving
just find the words to say
that wont make you stay
just when youre leaving
just when youre leaving

just when youre leaving.

Hi.

Went to Stevens Point, WI this weekend, tried some beers from around there, New Glarus was definitely my favorite. It was homecoming weekend and met some pretty good people. Bars open til 2:30, and went to about 6 different places in this little town square area that was awesome. Then we were starved and there was this Greek place still open, and gyros, if you didn't know, are the greatest drunk food ever. Because it was Wisconsin, they sold cheese curds there too, because...why not?

The next day was my friend Kate's birthday, and besides the afternoon of some football watching and playing with the kids (she has a 3 year old and 9 month old), we got a pinata from the day before, and the four "grown-ups" got to beat the sh** out of it while the kids were sleeping.

End result:

Loved the place, the 4 hours in the car isn't much fun though.

Even though the Federal Reserve is closed, which (before 2008) was the reason all banks closed on such holidays, my wife is working today in her "too big to fail" bank that has embraced a modern corporate feudalistic philosophy.  Good thing though, because Herman Cain already thinks we deserve our economic trials, and the conservatives won't have to worry about us being a part of the "mob" at the Occupy protests.....  Funny thing though, 3 weeks ago, the Tea Baggers were outside of the bank protesting President Obama's jobs plan; why weren't they at work?

You realize this is double jepardy within the context of 'rubbing it in'--considering the fact that my favorite team that shares a division with you, and my fantasy football team both have the same record.....

No damn rain here Oklahoma in 2 months which means no cars are getting dirty for me to detail. So i have been working on a Ranch. I dont know which is worse.......getting cow sh*t on my pants and boots or cleaning up boogers and anything else that kids can put into a car or cleaning a big ass 4 wheel drive after a good mudding trip. All i know is that i am more tired after working 300 head of cattle than i am after cleaning 3 or 4 cars in a day.

This is to Hippie Queen..........How did you like that smack down kick ass whooping my SOONERS gave your Longhorns? hahahahaha.

Washed and folded all of my grandaughters clothes Sunday. Was sitting here having a cig........looked over at where she was playing which is where i had her clean clothes in a basket and she had her diaper off and was squating and peeing on them and looking as proud as could be that her potty training was coming along very good. I really wanted to spank her or make her sit in her chair for 15 minutes but with that cute little smile and the face of a huge accomplishmeant i just couldnt do it. So once again i washed and folded all of her clothes....this time putting them where they were supposed to go in the first place.

And thats all i have for today. God Bless to you all wherever you are.

Tea bagging ain't so bad given the right scenario. It ticks me off when corporations like Wells Fargo get a 25 billion bailout, then get caught with their pants down booking a conference at Las Vegas for the president, CEO, CFO, senor vice presidents, vice presidents, so on and so forth. The head honchos of our major car manufacturers all fly into DC from basically the some location in separate jets to Washington to ask for money. WTF. Meanwhile bank tellers, loan officers, factory workers are being told to suck it up. It is the 7 and 8 dollar jobs that are being offered to folks that is the part of reason we have our cities being 'Occupied'. To be honest, the Tea Party band wagon scares the **** out of me. I'm not even going to say how Rick Perry (with an E) freaks me out. If we don't do something, it will be in the streets. We are not above what has occurred in other countries. I have a friend who is over the county sheriff's office website and is a member of the SW AT team here, he has told me more than once about how they are training to handle things. It won't be pretty.

A couple of ideas to boast the economy:
1) Legalize it, tax it.
2) Tax the rich.

I get what you are saying. And man... I hate politics.

This brings to mind a conversation I had with a young man that works for me the other day.  I was basically just mind f**king him, and I told him that there are more weird f**kers in this world than there are normal people.  It really is true.  However, if there are more goofy b*st*rds than there are normal folks, doesn't that make the goofy b*st*rds normal, and the rest of us 'weird'?
