Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

If you missed the game....you missed a lot. Man, the holy spirit was all over that place, but he didn't show out until the last 5 minutes. It's tradition now. It was a terrible yet great game. We've had a lot of those this year, no?
I'm almost done with "Mort". Why they didn't just call it "Zombieland, the book", I don't know. But I am enjoying it.
It's chilly here today, I FINALLY got to wear my Dark Jones hoodie for the first time this year. I've been impatiently waiting. I love that thing. YAY!
I'm pretty sure Nyce became a member of the Non-Denominational Holiness Church of Latter Day Tebowites last night. He's so gonna join a cult one day.
I watched most of the premiere of Big Shrimpin (they kept showing this dude's foot so I missed a lot) and I think I will be watching that this season.
Enjoy the weekend.

Morning.

I didn't watch the game---I had a more important game to watch. Read some HILARIOUS tweets about it though. (Grimaldi dude ....the hockey playing JESUS lover IS FAB). Kings and Ducks were playing their second in two days. There was a ton of Kings fans at Honda Center---well at least it sounded that way. THAT made me smile. There was a Kings lead, a power outage---which I thought was very "convenient", another Kings goal, then the  Ducks tied the game, but wait-----FRANKENBERRY to the rescue, then a Kings penalty (sigh), then some praying to hockey playing Jesus and some tebowing. It works. I'm officially discontinuing my hands coming together to pray and now I'm just going to tebow-------->He listens. The Kings even scored an empty netter---THAT never happens. The man is powerful and I'm glad he likes the Kings.

In other news......I got my hair cut. I think my hairdresser thought I was going to be competing in a pageant of some sort........or she was bored. The amount of product she put in my hair ....along with the curls .....well.......let's just say, I couldn't wait to put it back in a pony tail. I'm not even real sure how the cut came out. It feels about right.

Kings play the Wings tomorrow. I will be  ing Woody for a bit. Go KINGS!!!

Have a fab Friday. Remember to drink something something today.

- Congrats to the Denver Tebows on their big win vs the Jets last night.  I will strike a Tebow pose in their honor while drinking heavily tonight.

- Missed The League and Sunny last night due to falling asleep like an old man.  Is 30 old?  Sure feels like it.

- Finished the last of my Hamburger Helper - Jambalaya last night. To buy more or not to buy more....that is the question.

- The Cubs have a new manager - Dale Sveum.  Don't know a ton about him, but his players seem to respect him and it could help lure Prince Fielder.  Considering Theo's top two candidates in Beantown were Francona and Maddon, I'll trust his judgement.  Wait till next year!

- Cool piece on one of my favorite Bears, Peanut Tillman.  Definitely underappreciated around the league, but not by Bears fans (most of them).  He's always played hurt and is a ball hawk - perfect for Lovie's "Tampa 2."  Hopefully he earns that first trip to the Pro Bowl this year.

Tebow Time : The Drive 3  -   An insta-classic and sure to be replayed multiple times on a sports network near u

Big Shrimpin - seems pretty good so far so i shall continue to watch and well the nicknames and chatter is sometime priceless in a very hillbilly type of way.  Reminded me of a local guy here that sells shrimp his nickname is "Stiffy" - he got that nickname because he always said a net full of big shrimp gave him a hard on , and well he catches a lot of shrimp - so there ya have it.

Swamp People Thanksgiving Episode -  Now them was some mighty fine vittles

Now a song ................................

scooby dooby doo where are u
we've got some work to do now
scooby dooby doo we need some help from u now
come on scooby doo i see u
pretending you've got a sliver
you're not foolin' me 'cause i can see
the way u shake and shiver

u know we got a mystery to solve
so scooby doo get ready for your act
don't hold back 'cause scooby doo
when u come thru you're gonna have your self
a scooby snack that's a fact

scooby dooby doo here are you
you're ready and you're willin' [scooby]
if we can count on you [beee]scooby doo
i know we'll catch tha villain

I have a feeling my choice will be popular today, and I usually try to be in the minority.

Taylor Swift had a good show last night.  As I predicted, many milf's.  My coworker, who is 21, got hit on by a drunk like 40 something.  I was laughing so hard, I had to say Duck-Season/Rabbit Season, because if I had said Cougar Hunting, it would've been too obvious.  She was offering him a position as her pool boy. F***ING HILARIOUS!!!  Also a Pedo-bear wet dream.  And I'm fairly certain I saw some.

Canes and Sabres tonight.  Excellent game and excellent tips.  Plus date afterwards.  She's a teacher.  Does that get me any extra credit in here?

Huskers at Michigan tomorrow.  Good luck Woody, but not too much.

Tonight: 7 & 7 or Jack & Coke?

Ladies and Gentlemen, My Chemical Romance:

They're gonna clean up your looks
With all the lies in the books
To make a citizen out of you
Because they sleep with a gun
And keep an eye on you, son
So they can watch all the things you do

Because the drugs never work
They're gonna give you a smirk
'Cause they got methods of keeping you clean
They're gonna rip up your heads
Your aspirations to shreds
Another cog in the murder machine

Chorus:
They said all
Teenagers scare
The living s**t out of me
They could care less
As long as someone'll bleed
So darken your clothes
Or strike a violent pose
Maybe they'll leave you alone
But not me

The boys and girls in the clique
The awful names that they stick
You're never gonna fit in much, kid
But if you're troubled and hurt
What you got under your shirt
Will make them pay for the things that they did

Cheer up, the worst is yet to come...

Although I am thoroughly enjoying Tebow (shouldn't the remainder of Denver's schedule be moved to Thurs nights?).  Rooting for Tebow is like taking divine intervention PLUS the points. If you don't Tebow once a day, you probably hate yourself. Denver is going to host a wild card game. It's in revelations.

It's a weird phenomenon, and here are my takes on it..
First of all I'd like to thank his lord and savior and his teammates for making him feel blessed.
The media is being savvy.. I love the "wow, this wave of tebowmania is taking off"  Well yeah, everywhere you turn, sports radio, ESPN, NFL network, they are perpetuating it.. Well played
Next, how dominant has this offensive line been the last 3 weeks? Zane Beadles has a name right out of the bible, has been playing great but you would never know about it unless you just read this.
In addition, the Defense and special teams has been solid the last 3 weeks.  The pick 6 last night was the turning point of that game.  if the Jets go down and score, that's the ballgame.  They gave the offense numerous chances to succeed with great field position.  With an average offense, Denver wins that game last night by 14+points.
The wide open passes Tebow misses are awesomely hilarious and may be my favorite parts of the game
I love the fact everyone outside of Colorado thinks everyone loves Tebow.. That couldn't be FURTHER from the truth.. Mark Schlereth said it on Mike and Mike yesterday when they brought it up. It's still about 50/50 between the Jesus followers and the people who want the Broncos to find a long-term solution at QB.  Yes winning is nice, but a lot of Broncos fans are smart and realize how flukey everything has been..
That being said, there was no better visual last night than.....

Well Nessler said that everyone in Denver loves Tebow last night. I thought of you...well during the whole game... because I knew it was about to happen and I knew no one was noticing the angels in the endzone making sure that the jets didnt even try in the second half on O or D except me.

Nyce and I did pray for a mass tebowing episode from all of the fans after the next home game though. We'd like your support. Thanks.

The League episode was better last night, but Sunny's body of work this year is better. Yeah i liked that one too. Carrying a show with sports jokes never works, hence the minor switch to using the sports gatherings/league as backdrop for shennanigans. (There's a great article in The Hollywood Reporter on creator/writers - husband wife couple who are basically the same as couple on show - that kinda went into it. Plus a Carson Daly segment too.) Another reason is more Andre. And Raffi.

Sarah Silverman's cameo was on par with Bam Bam's on Curb and Roxy's (RIP, lol).

The League is better in general. Maybe because Sunny is completely ridiculous whereas the league is  more "normal friends" hanging out to me. It's more believable. While I like Sunny, the league has always made me laugh out loud every episode. Sunny has not.

RIP Roxy. The book I'm reading also used the phrase "baby d***". I immediately RIP'd her then too. LOL

Today I am thankful for, wait, wrong poll.

I have a lot of equipment to stuff in a Jeep Liberty tonight and tomorrow. The band plays for the first paying 'new band with cool chick' gig tomorrow afternoon/evening. It is a wedding and usually those are not too bad. Decent money, free food and cold beverages, and everyone except for the people who are paying for it all are real happy. Plus, once in a while ladies dance in front of ya and make goof eyes. That's free too.

I need the Falcons to win out. I need to get the cell phone numbers of my fantasy football players so I can call to let them all know they are ****ing killing me. And thanks to the Kings for some wins, keep it up. My dog needs a haircut, she is turning Rastafarian, and she really needs to wait four years more so we both can roll that way.

That's all I got, have a good one.

Big Shrimpin - seems pretty good so far so i shall continue to watch and well the nicknames and chatter is sometime priceless in a very hillbilly type of way.  Reminded me of a local guy here that sells shrimp his nickname is "Stiffy" - he got that nickname because he always said a net full of big shrimp gave him a hard on , and well he catches a lot of shrimp - so there ya have it.

Swamp People Thanksgiving Episode -  Now them was some mighty fine vittles

Now a song ................................

scooby dooby doo where are u
we've got some work to do now
scooby dooby doo we need some help from u now
come on scooby doo i see u
pretending you've got a sliver
you're not foolin' me 'cause i can see
the way u shake and shiver

u know we got a mystery to solve
so scooby doo get ready for your act
don't hold back 'cause scooby doo
when u come thru you're gonna have your self
a scooby snack that's a fact

scooby dooby doo here are you
you're ready and you're willin' [scooby]
if we can count on you [beee]scooby doo
i know we'll catch tha villain

I might use THAT song for opening lines in the future!

I'm guessing it had something to do with the little lady in the wheelchair, but I'm probably way off.  Cut me some slack...vacation is on my mind.

Whatup?
The ultimate battle between good and evil...Luke vs. Darth Vader. Elliot Ness vs. Al Capone.Dorothy vs. the Wicked Witch of the West.  Basic memory skills vs. Rick Perry. And now, Timmy Tebow vs. Rex Ryan.  And old "goodie-two-shoes" took it to the house on the Jets last night. Really good game (if you like that kind of crap).
The World Wide Leader will be bringing the Gameday crew to H-Town cover the UofH / SMU game on tomorrow. Good times. Last but not least, for you MLS soccer fans, and I know that's everybody (humor me, the Texans are on a bye, there's no NBA and the 'stros are well, the 'stros). The Houston Dynamo travel out west to take on David "bend it like" Beckham and the LA Galaxy for the MLS Championship.   GO ORANGE!! What?... Somebody?...Anybody?...Bueller?...Bueller? C'mon man?!?

Happy Friday,

Not always sunny in Florida, overcast and kinda blah, but it is still 80,

My neighbor Linda got home from the hospital in Jacksonville last night after recovering from the lung transplant.
Her family remodeled her entire house while she was gone for 3 months.  Pretty awesome homecoming.
Kinda like"Move that bus" show.     She is sans oxygen tank now.  Life can be and is good.

Drank Skyy vodka with Welchs Tropical Cherry,  I think it will make an excellent frozen drink.  Gotta perfect the ratio.

Jets and the Broncos suck.  4 for 4 in wasted time on crappy games.  I may go outside Sunday and blow off the games.
Already found out I am going to have to see that gayyy new Twilight movie this weekend.  I plan on going drunk.  Should make the experience better than just people watching, the glittery milfs and pale white kids in skinny jeans.  Ugh, Parenting 101.  Alcohol.
No survivors? Then where do the stories come from, I wonder?...

Almost forgot to share... JR's high school (varsity, JV, & girls) basketball teams will be playing in the Toyota Center tomorrow. They are so stoked.  Me too. (might as well, ain't nothing else going on in the damn place!)

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

Too late for much news today.  You F'ers should just be thankful I showed up at all anyhow.

Syracuse University, the Institute of Higher Mimickry, is now oh-fish-u-lee involved in it's own sex scandal.  A former ball boy (kind of appropriate, for this story) has accused an ASSistant coach of playing a little "pitch and catch" with him on the sly.

WTF is going on here?  Catholic priests I have come to expect this kind of behavior from, but a g*d d*mn football coach doing this $h*t?  There are certain things in life that are just too sacred to be f**ked with like this, and d*mmit, football is number f**king one on that list!

Herman Cain has requested protection from the Men in Black.  Um, don't look now, Hermie, but some whack job f**kin idiot just put a couple of rounds from an AK through President Barry's bedroom window.  If the Secret Service can't stop a F'n retard from hitting the g*d d*mn White House, how do you suppose they are going to help you?

Michael Vick is OUT this weekend vs. the New Jersey G'aints.  NFL sources have quoted Tony Romo as calling Vick a "f**king p**sy".  Let the VY era in Philthadelphia begin!

Thats enough news for you F'ers today.  Hail Tebow.

You've been edJACKated!

Hi peoples.

Ended up passing out to an Animal House Bio channel biography last night, with maybe half the first quarter gone. Apparently I missed a good game, already checked out the final drive on NFL.com, that drive alone was pretty impressive for the guy. Made a couple of nice passes, I see he only completed 9 for the game, though. Huge improvement from last week.

Cosby Show episode I'm now watching is Theo's last final, with the Barbados chick. Kinda wish this channel didn't do them all in order, as I'm in the 1991 episodes...not so great.

I see that nothing outside of Tebow and Bernie Fine has happened in sports over the last day. This sucks.

I am in love with the Nashville Predators.  All fifteenfive of them.  Although I think the kinder, gentler Jordin Tootoo who has laid off the sauce is a little too nice.

I will be back later, after I get a little nerdy and submit a paper before the midnight deadline and bust open the second bottle of Two Buck Chuck.

Until I return, ladies and germs, it's Porno for Pyros:

Where you going meija?

Yeah, you got your money
In your hand
And you mind
Already out of the door
Didn't get her started
There ain't no stopping her
You gotta
Wait till she runs
Out of money
Or maybe get to sleep
She knows everybody
Go!

Baby took the car
Out for a drive
Didn't come back
For nearly two days
Where's she been?
Why'd she go?
Why's she back now?
We all know!
We know why!
We know why!
She's back again
We know
Where's she goin'
Someplace better than here...

Everybody count your money!
Everybody count your money!
Everybody, yeah you better count your money!

Edit: Totally unrelated, but I can't get over this mugshot.

Louisville out to a quick start over UCONN makes me very, very happy.

The downer part is that I'm at my mom's doing laundry, which takes a long time.  But it's free.  And I'll have clean clothes.
