Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

This is from last year. Here. No need to tell me I'm wrong again, I remember.

Here are a few sayings that are annoying the sh*t out fo me. I really want to punch people in the f**king face every time I hear them. I probably should make this a poll because i'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that hates hearing certain sh*t over and over again, but I'm not.
1. Who Dat - this is simply stupid and obnoxious. It means nothing yet they say it over and over again.
2. Who Dey- dumber than #1. who dey what? just stop it. what makes it worse for me is the fact that it's grammatically incorrect. english teachers unite!
3. Playing for pride - Really? you're playing for "pride"? No, that doesn't mean sh*t. That's something they say about all terrible teams that will accomplish nothing that year. Play to win or don't play. I've never heard anyone say, "put a P in their column. Whoot!" He won't be the coach next year, he won't be the QB, that corner is finished, your season no longer matters except maybe for the draft. W or L...that is all. Once you get to this "playing for pride" mess, basically if we all could madden franchise this thing for a minute, we would go ahead and simulate the rest of your sorry ass season and get on with the good teams.
4. The best defense is a good offense - Filter Error 12/20 Photo
5. Defense wins championships - Then what the f**k is the offense doing, oh...scoring.
6. He came to play - You don't say....
7. He's giving a 110% out there - What planet is he from? Because on earth the highest you can go is 100%, no?
8. He doesn't have any Playoff experience - but he has played this game before, right? the millions of dollars weren't just for the regular season, were they?
9. They wanted it more - F*** you for insulting our loss by questioning our heart a**hole!

That is all for now, but i really could go on. BTW, no one in the NFC West should make the playoffs. It's ridiculous. Losing record should always equal NO PLAYOFFS! After all is decided in every other spot, they should just go ahead and award that Seahawks or Rams spot to the next team with the best record who was going to miss the playoffs. That is just taking up precious space. UGH!

Sooo... I scrape up the money so my kid can have christmas. I am mad tired but I go shopping anyway. I was finished in about 20 minutes yet it took me about 45 to get in line. I was just roaming apparently due to the tiredness. I pick her up then have one more stop. Finish that and remember I have one more stop. Go there, get stuff. Drop keys, break car key and don't realize it till i get to the car and have no middle. Go back and can't find it. My doors still unlock and alarm wont go off as long as I use the key. Get in and car won't start....amother*******gain. Blah, blah, blah, tow it to home. Tension then migraine starts while I wait, and is full on when I get home. Then I cry which I tried to avoid because it's one of the many things you dont want to do with a migraine. Ugh. So, i'm sitting and watching that awful game, in pain, semi-chatting, nauseous, angry, etc and it occurs to me what the problem may be. Epiphanies are designed to inform you of how stupid and slow you really are, I believe. Dammit. Anyway, all is well and if I'd thought it through at first, i would not have lost that 2 hrs from my life and saved myself a lot of stress. I checked to make sure I was correct and took my stupid ass to bed.

Be kind, rewind.

Morning.

Watching (500) Days of Summer currently, Tom is in the office about working poorly and being moved to funerals/sympathy.

"Roses are red
Violets are blue
F**k you, wh**e"

Got a drunk dial (on a freakin' Monday night?) at 3am, then 3 drunk guys came in at 5am. So, I got zero sleep. I'm supposed to wake the 3 drunks in 2 hours to go out for breakfast, but before that, we'll walk a few blocks to wake another 2 drunks - I'm sure that will go well.

And another two quotes that just came up in the movie:

"She took a giant sh** on my face. Literally.

Literally?

No, not literally, what's the matter with you?"

"Either she's an evil, emotionless, miserable human being, or... she's a robot. "

 Where's the F****** Trolley?

The only thing from last years post that can relate today:

Be Inspired:

Only you can make you happy.
~Aaron "Marty" Martinson

Question:  I have been offered a temporary place to stay for a month to help my job search.  Let's just say it would be weird if I stayed there, although it could be helpful and would allow me to stay near my kids another month.  Thoughts?

Brown Chicken Brown Cow.

My bartender has a new job, and it was so great seeing her last night.  Was drinking Bell's Christmas Ale from Kalamazoo.  I
enjoyed.  Had a taste of Monty Python's Holy Grail.  It was disappointing.

The problem with 3500 songs on my Ipod?  I always forget some songs that relate to my life.  but this one popped up today, so Ladies and Gentlemen, Lifehouse:

I face my demons
Wrestling these angels to the ground
And all that I could find
Was a thin line between all the saints
And villains it was crossed
In my own mind

Some day I'm gonna find it
Wish I knew what I was looking for
Inside the disarray (inside the disarray)
I woke up this morning
Don't know where I'm going
But it's alright
I wouldn't have it any other way

Struggling between the facts and fiction
I'm alone but I'm alive
Everyone around me is trying to make a statement
Then there's me
I'm just trying to survive

Some day I'm gonna find it
Wish I knew what I was looking for
Inside the disarray (inside the disarray)
I woke up this morning
Don't know where I'm going
But it's alright
I wouldn't have it any other way

If this was any other day
I'd pretend to know where I stand
I just don't know
I just don't know
I just don't know

Some day I'm gonna find it
Wish I knew what I was looking for
Inside the disarray (inside the disarray)
I woke up this morning
Don't know where I'm going
But it's alright
I wouldn't have it any other way

Someday I will find it
Wish I knew what I was looking for
Inside the disarray (inside the disarray)
I woke up this morning
Don't know where I'm going
But it's alright

Hola Qmigos,

The Niners and the city of San Francisco should be embarrassed after experiencing not one, but two power outages.  That said, SF looks like the real deal, especially on defense.  They haven't allowed a rushing TD through 14 games - an NFL record.  WOW!  They will be dangerous in the playoffs.

Hawks Pens tonight in Pittsburgh.  National TV so all you hockey heads can catch a glimpse of what should be a good game.  Keep it rolling, Hawks!

Check out the view from my cousin's new pad.  Lucky bas*ard.

Is it possible to overdose on mashers and gravy?  Because I came close last night.  Note to self - don't eat two lbs of mashed potatoes when you have bball the next day.  And lay off the extra gravy, fatty!

College football recruiting is hitting the home stretch and per usual, there's plenty of drama to go around.  Notre Dame has commitments from two of the top players in Cali, but SC and Kiffin are making a big push as we head towards signing day.  Hopefully BK and staff can hold them off like last year with the Atkinson brothers.

The neighbor kid told me The Big Lebowski sucked last night.  I laffed hysterically for a minute and then asked him how he came to that conclusion.  He said the movie failed to deliver like The Hangover.  Kids these days, eh?

My left arm hurts right to the side of my elbow. Its from using my PS3 controller too much. I've been playing soo much Modern Warfare 3 lately that I actually injured my elbow. I guess using my thumb on the directional pad is somehow affecting a nerve or tendon that runs up my arm. I cant believe I have a video game injury, f**k my life.  I'm just going to tell people its a sports injury from throwing.

Morning, Everybodee!

Christmas party was pretty good.  Couple people's spouses couldn't make it, so they brought their daughters.  (One is a teenager, the other is 6).  Was fun watching the 6 year-old have fun.  We had a pool table area reserved, so there was a game going on during most of the evening.  Even the youngest had a chance to participate.

Since it's flashback Tuesday......here you go......(with a couple adjustments)

Morning!

Awwwwwwwww......the love around this place just oozes through the computer.  (this is still true.....awwww.....and it's even greater this fine morning. Makes me want to sing and have animals scurry after me.)

I seriously want to build an ark because it's been 6 days of raining here and well.........an ark would be great. (It's not raining, but I'd still like one.)Anyone know how to build one? I have cookies.

Something happened last night------ a team, who has been KILLING me SLOWLY WON......just in time for their new coach who is affectionately being called by fans----Bitter Beer Face. who was going for their 7th win in a row, the highest scoring team in the NHL by like 20 goals or something----GOT SHUT OUT.  It was quite lovely, but hey-----they didn't play their best stuff. It had nothing to do with the other team (Kings) out-playing them. (yes.....I'm chuckling as I type.) Ohhhhhhhhhh.......and Matt Greene was on Cupcake Wars last year. I tried it. It's not for me. night----there was a cupcake I want to try. It was a beer cake topped with Irish Creme something or other frosting------(themed for hockey and I dug it.)

Oh.....and one more thing....well two really------------------GO RAMS------get that high draft pick!  GO KINGS!!!!!

I love the fact you used Mike Honchoing as a verb

Good morning peoples,
Not much today, trying to work hard so I don't have to stay late tonight.
Avs game last night was a blast, and the fact they won in a shootout made for a fantastic ending

I get it, Ben Roethlisberger can take the pain.  But how little faith do you have in your backup QB that A) you let Ben, who can barely even move go out there, B) Leave him out there after 3 picks and a fumble, C) Leave him out there when you're down 17 with 0 chance of winning at the end of the 4th quarter.  I'm not so sure I agree with Omar Epps' thinking on that one

Thankfully with the holidays and things slowing down a little bit, I will have the next installments of the Hockey 101 series coming soon to a computer screen near you

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

Sorry for the late entry, but in case you F'ers aint been paying attention, Cactus Jack's homeland was ravaged by cold white stuff falling from the sky in MASSIVE F'n amounts.  Its a good thing Oklahoma sucks.  This $h*t ought to be gone in a day.

Anyhow, some little teenage chick in Misheegun is being lauded as a hero for hiding behind her bed and calling 911 while there were two intruders burglarizing her house.  Anytime I hear a story like this, I daydream about pullin a Chuck Norris on their sorry F'n a$$e$ and throwing them a beating, but truth be told, I'd prolly hide like that teenage girl did and call for help.  No use taking chances that one of the booglers might be a REAL bada$$ like Clint Eastwood and kick Chuck's a$$.

Jon Bon Jovi aint really dead, but now that goofy sumb*tch needs a F'n U/A.  He puts a message out to clear $h*t up about not really being croaked, and it says "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey".  Hahaha....that's F'n funny Jon.  If Jersey was heaven, then that would make Janet an angel, and well....we all know that aint happnin!

Actress Maria Conchito Alonso has garnered my everlasting love and devotion.  The Cuban born actress slammed Actor Sean Penn recently, in person at LAX, for supporting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.  Alonso called Penn a "Communist A$$hole".
Sounds to me like she has that stoopid F'er pegged pretty good.  While we ar at it, is it just me, or does it look like Penn and Hugo are having a c*ck gargling contest?  Seriously, they both look like they are trying to hide a pair of t*st*cl*s in their throat.

Before Ashlie's attention span goes haywire, I will end today's World News Report.  I'd prolly have better luck keeping her reading this if I used blocks and crayons, but oh well.

Two things: 1) the running game (and conversly run defense) in the playoffs is over-rated in todays game.  I can't think of a run oriented team that made it to the Super Bowl since the Seahawks-Steelers.

2) You should have B!TCH SLAPPED that kid for speaking ill of "The Big Lebowski"

This is a Pulic Service Annoumcement for all teenagers....When you say goodnight and close the bedroom door, that is my cue to begin molesting your mother and vice versa. If you do not want to be traumatized by seeing my head buried between your momma's thighs and my nekked azzzz, use that thing at the end of your arm, it is called a hand. If you curl those things on your hand called fingers, into a ball you can use it to knock first and thus eliminatebeing traumatized.

P.S. Do not knock and walk on in,  otherwise you will still run the risk of being traumatized. Knock and wait for an audile, understandable word telling you to enter.

Thank you that is all, oh and while your being traumatized we are having one hell of a laugh at your expense.

1 - Never said anything about a run oriented team being a favorite for the SB...just that SF will make noise.  I don't disagree with the notion that a run heavy team isn't built for the playoffs these days, but SF's defense is very good in all facets of the game (which was my argument).  We already know about the run defense, but it's the pass defense that keeps getting better and better.  If anyone is going to slow down GB or NOLA (or even Detroit), it's the Niners.  I realize Big Ben was hurt last night, but they shut Pitt down.  And that was w/o Patrick Willis.  The offense?  20 points on the league's #1 defense is pretty good, not?  I'd venture to say they are still top 5 even w/o Jamo.

2 - He's a good kid and you can rest assured knowing I lectured him on the greatness that is TBL.  It happens.  I remember thinking a lot of things sucked as a kid....only to grow up and realize I was an idiot.

If NO has to go into SF, I'll totally agree with the Niners making some noise... I don't think they have what it takes to beat Green Bay.  Their offense is too stagnant to keep up with them.  And if they have to go to New Orleans I think they're screwed.  The Saints are built to play in that dome

KC just laid out the blueprint on how to stop the Packers.  SF has a better defense and offense.  Combine that with GB's injuries along the OL and to their best WR, and they aren't as formidable as they once were (IMO).  I agree on NOLA.  If they get homefield and GB gets eliminated early, all bets are off.

I'm not sold on the Blue Print just yet.  It was a 'Trap' game and the Pack had some injuries that played into the loss as well, mainly that no-one on the Packers line could block Hali.  It will be interesting to see what happens in the next two weeks with them playing against two more Elite Defenses (Bears and Lions).

Best Christmas Cookie Recipe ever!

Thought you might enjoy a copy of my favorite Christmas cookie recipe:
1 cup of water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 cup of brown sugar
lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila

Check the Cuervo to see that it's of the highest quality. Pour one level cup & drink it up!
Get out a large bowl and assemble your cooking ingredients.
At this point, check to see if the Cuervo is OK. Try a full cup, just to be sure.
Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again.
Pour a cup of Jose Cuervo to enjoy while baking.
Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the frigging fruit off floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.
Relax with another cup of Cuervo.
Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who giveshz a sheet.
Check the Jose Cuervo again to see if it's still OK
Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't ferget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window.
Finish the Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.

Wouldn't call either of those defenses elite, but they are very good.  Plus they see the Pack twice a year which never hurts.  The Bears look to have given up this season and I doubt GB will play their starters much (if at all) unless a miracle happens and the Bears win on Sunday.  The playoffs will be very fun to watch.  Can't wait.

Its amazing the things you find out by randomly searching the internet.  (Not surfing red light districts, honest.)  While researching some shtuff for a game I came across a quote by a russian clown....

"It is very important to be able to laugh and cry, to rejoice over one's own and others' victories, not to feel angry, not to envy.  I dream there will once appear a formation of kind and wise people on the Earth.  Live in peace and accord and remember that everysecond of laughter adds a minute of life."

Good day, bitches.

I'm pretty positive that I remember my answer choice from last year, too.  That's sad/awesome/impressive/dorky.  But I picked something different this go 'round because I am, indeed, down with OPP.

So I finally got my monthly evac today ... it's about 4 days late so I was beginning to wonder.    'Tis the season for such things, ya know.

How did I not know that a small plane crashed in the middle of the highway, about 10 miles from my exit on that same highway?

That's all I've got for now.

PACKERS defense is pathetic!  They do, however, seem to find a way to get turnovers though.

All in all, if the PACK play a balanced team (good O & D), they will lose because if the team they play can contain Rodgers, GB's defense won't be able to contain ANYONE's offense!

Hell, ORTON, with a fractured finger and on a bad team, looked like a Hall of Famer last week and so has many QB's this year against that DEF.

The problem with NO is that they do not play well in cold weather. That could be their only downfall.
SF is solid, but, I'm still not sold on A.Smith.   He's had a decent year, but, if I were a Niners fan, I would get a little nervous come playoff time, just in part to his inexperience.  Besides that, GORE is solid and their DEF is better than we all thought!

Light Up Lyrics: Drake ft Jay-Z

[Verse 1: Drake]
Ive been up for 4 days
Getting money both ways
Dirty and clean, I could use a glass of cold spades
Rolexes, chauffeurs, and low fades
I keep thinking how young can you die from old age
The always tell me no one is working as hard as you
And even though I laugh it off man its probably true
Cuz while all of my closest friends out partying
Im just here making all the music that they party too
But party on, party on, all night ni**a
I got these new rappers nervous prom night n-gga
I grow tired of these f**king grown man liars
Story tellers, they aint even need a camp fire
Uhh, but I just wanna tell the truth
Before one of these haters load a couple shells and shoot
This s**t feel like when fredro star was a sunset park stunting hard in his yellow goose
Ya, and ima motherf**king missed target
But a target none the less, and I just started
Was that directed at Moi?
Cant be, they must be talking to themselves Hov, hands free
Yeah, and im just filling up this daily planner
Getting busy cuz im a star, no spangled banner
Jealous dudes get to talking in their music
And I just say I wrote it for yo girlfriends Kelsey Grammar
Yah, that’s what life becomes when you doing you
Welcome to Hollywood don’t let this town ruin you
And if you pillow talking with the women that are screwing you
Just know that she gon tell another ni**a when she through with you
Don’t get impatient when it takes to long
And drink it all even when it taste too strong yeah
I gotta feel alive, even if it kills me
Promise to always give you me, the real me

[Chorus]
Who would have thought
I’d be caught in this life?
Let’s celebrate with a toast
And get lost in tonight
And make it all light up
(Hey, Guru, tell hom’ to go to open that Ace right there),
Wait until the sun goes down
We gon’ make this bitch light up
Even when the sun goes down
I’m gon’ make this go

[Verse 2: Jay-Z]
OWWWWWWW, Hov turning heads like OWLSSSSS
Im the man of the hour
Triple entendre don’t even ask me how
Con-Edison Flo I’m connected to a high power
Bright lights will make your whole city light up
A trillion watt light bulb when im in the night club
I just landed in that G-450, caught the mayweather fight cuz his satellite was crispy
Uhh, yall can miss me with the money talk
The smart moneys on Hov, f**k what the dummys talk
I don’t do to much blogging, I just run the town, I don’t do to much jogging
I aint gotta scar yet, you f**king round with me and my dogs is far fetched
Drake, heres how they gon come at you
With silly rap feuds trying to distract you
In disguise in the form of a favor
The Barzini meeting, watch for the traitors
Uhh, and ive seen it all done it all
That’s why none of these dum dums could done him off
The summers ours, the winter too
Top down in the winter, that’s what winners do
And to these ni**as im like windows 7
You let em tell it they swear that they invented you
And since no good deed go unpunished
Im not as cool with ni**as as I once was
I once was, cool as the fonz was,
but these bright lights turned me to a monster
Sorry mama im promised they wouldn’t change me,
but I woulda went insane, had i remain the same ME
F**k ni**as, bitches too
All I got is this money, this will do

[Chorus]

Due to some of the holiday-related PQing that recently happened, it was surprising to me to find the perfect holiday myth to represent Kevin.

The Krampus is a mythical creature recognized in Alpine countries. According to legend, Krampus accompanies St. Nicholas (Santa Claus) during the Christmas season, warning and punishing bad children, in contrast to St. Nicholas, who gives gifts to good children. When the Krampus finds a particularly naughty child, it stuffs the child in its sack and carries the frightened child away to its lair, presumably to devour for its Christmas dinner.

I found this rather ironic, William Hickey (Christmas Vacation)  died in 1997, the last movie he made was called "Knocking on deaths door"  He died before it was even released.
