nope not for me....maybe a little "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" or Johnny Cash is as close as I get to country.
#2 | 988 days ago

Patsy Cline, Reba, Ronny Milsap, Charley Pride, Alabama, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, just a few I listen to on a regular basis

I listen to a variety of music, including country.   Though, if it gets too 'twangy', it gets on my nerves.   Bluegrass is something I can only listen to for a bit.

Favorite song that I think most people, even those who refuse to listen to country, would listen to is "Devil Goes Down to Georgia."  Crank it up.

Not a huge country music fan, but I dig a few bands/artists/songs.  Brooks and Dunn, Travis Tritt, Garth, etc.  "Great Day to be Alive" is one of my favorite songs.  Also a big fan of most of the women, especially Carrie Underwood and Martina McBride (cougarlicious).
#8 | 988 days ago

I LOVE country music. I listen to it more than any other type of music. My all time favorite country singer is Kenny Rogers but I also enjoy listening to Carrie Underwood, Boroks & Dunn, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw....and the list can go on and on...

I can listen to just about everything, even the pop country that people put out these days. I grew up on Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Charlie Rich, Charlie Pride, Loretta Lynn and Barbra Mandrell. There are a lot of really hot female country singers but somebody tell me where the f*ck does Taylor Swift come into either category, hot or singer. Something about her eyes just makes me want to punch her and she wouldn't have a chanceon American Idol or Americas got Talent.

Country music can make anyone feel good about their lives. "I lost all my money, the crops all fell. My dog just left, and my wife bit my leg"  etc.
Truth be told, there is a lot to be learned from country lyrics. "All my exes do live in Texas"... There is no better way to Go Green than "Save a horse, ride a cowboy" I'm sure there are others. I'm goona check Google.
#21 | 988 days ago

Not a fan really. There are about 3 songs I like maybe. I was a Shania fan for a while, and I like the Earl Had to Die dixie chicks song.

And I like this Clint Black song (apparently the acoustic version):

A high roller even when the chips are down
To win her over, I'd seen the tables turn around
She's ten the hard way, I can feel it in my bones
She'll be makin' my day and not another night alone
'Til it's time for a windfall and not a single minute too soon
I've been too long overdue, now I'm gonna shoot the moon

I'd bet it all on a good run of bad luck
Seven come eleven and she could be mine
Luck be a lady, and I'm gonna find love comin' on the bottom line

I've been to the table, and I've lost it all before
I'm willin' and able, always comin' back for more
Squeezin' out a thin dime 'til there's no one hanging on my arm
I've gambled on a third time, a fool will tell you it's a charm
If I'm bettin' on a loser, I'm gonna have a devil to pay
But it's the only game I know to play, it doesn't matter anyway

I listen to everything.  I LOVE Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland and Miranda Lambert.

My music choices are all over the place. The twangy and "country rapping" songs get on my nerves (Trace Adkins makes my ears bleed and that Red Solo Cup song makes me want to puncture my eardrums with Q-tips when I hear it-----though I do kind of like Toby Keith.....dude is mucho neato to the troops).

I love Garth Brooks. He's probably the only person I'd pay a lot to go see. I like the older ones I was forced to listen to when I was in the car with my mom-----Reba, Lori Morgan, Suzie Bogus, George Strait, etc... I like  Blake Shelton on the Voice---does that count? His wife's not bad either. Johnny Cash singing "Hurt" made me sad with a side of embarrassment and uncomfortableness, but I loved him still.

I love Music from all genres.............My family is filled with Country musicians that dates back to the early 1900's when Country music was more Folk and Blue Grass oriented. So I can say that I like Country music..................Just not the New Country music that is more commercialized like all the other genres are these days.

Like a lot of other genres, I have to be in the mood for it. I like the tunes with a lot good guitar work. It may sound crazy but I like Brad Paisley's guitar work, the dude is a monster on lead guitar. Pick up a guitar and try to steal his licks.

And if you are bummed with intentions of getting hammered and laying face down in your front yard, George Jones' music works mighty fine. I don't play it at my house though, it makes my dog cry.
