You won't regret it.  The wait is a little long, but totally worth it.  Try the mac and cheese too if that's up your alley.

Damn, I'm hungry.  May have to take an early lunch.

pure yankee here....I've never had it....eggs go with pork roll or bacon....although I would give it a try, I think I've seen the egg with burger thing on Iron Chef....can't be that bad.

Did you refer him to the food charts?  Chicken fried anything is in the proteins group, the vegetable group, and the grains group, along with the grease group, the cholesterol group, and the holy $h*t this is good group.

Speaking of sammiches...for those of you back east, when does a sub become a grinder? isnt that the same thing?

Here is something else I've been wondering for years.....the ex was from Connecticut and they ate something called steamers, they looked disgusting at the time and made me think of something "mr. happy" spits out after beating his head against a cervix.

Yea it's the same thing....I believe they use the term "grinder" in the New England area....not in this area.  Steamers.....clams steamers? or the burger?....I know they steam a burger up in the Conn area....never had it though.

Don't remember if they were clams or not. Some reason i was tihinking oysters, but it could be clams, either way whatever it was they steamed looked like a loogie coming out.

typically ya don't steam oysters....it's most definetly clams.....try a raw one....I'll eat 50 with some beer....although it's not everyones cup of tea.

Never heard of it here.  We put fried eggs on top of our enchiladas sometimes, but mostly only on red chile.

Never had raw clams, but have had them fried, and I can eat a truck load of them.....must have been something else I was thinking of then. Dont know who had then brilliant idea of frying everything, but around these parts if you can batter and put breading on it, its going to get fried.
