Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Morning. Some things should not be disagreed on and some things can't get be justified. My opinion of some changed in about 3 minutes. That's all it takes and it's done.

Caught up on last 3 Modern Family episodes. Loved them. I want my own Phil Dunphy. If you are incredibly similar to him, please submit your application below. That baby is unattractive...very. What happened? How was the White Collar premiere? My movie watching is down, I need to fix that. I think I may like Dos Equis more than Corona. I wanted everyone to lose yesterday, but Go Pats. Evans and Cundiff may have screwed up, but the Ravens had 3 quarters to capitalize on mediocre play by the Pats. C'est la vie. They can come to Atlanta and watch the game with my stupid team... though someone will probably end up on trial. That's what happens here.

Jess, Oher is okay. Breathe easy. It's not your fault, though I may need you to order a few Saints jerseys next season. (I'm just playing Sid and Nyce...maybe...mostly...I am... yes, I'm joking )
Enjoy your Monday.

Who dat?  We dat!  What dat? Rematch!!!   Yayyyyy!

Now hit submit really fast so you can be the first poster!!

[Edit]

Yesss!!!  All you MF'ers bow down before me!!!!!

Sooooo, (Janet, don't read this part) ... the MF'n Giants are back in the Super Bowl.  W_T_F??  The NFC might as well just play Craps to find out who the best team is!!  Talk about F'd up!   There will be no MF'n 'pray to the Gods' hail mary to save them this time!!  Just saying.

That said, (Janet, start reading here) ... what a story for the Giants this year!  W_T_F???  Who would've guessed???  (Aside from die-hard Giants fans?)  What a Fn season for them!  If they pull this off, there will be a ton of seriously pi$$ed off MF'ahs in B-town!!!

Saw 20-20 Last night ... wow ... Ryan 'WTF' is totally GUILTY!!!  That MF'er did it!!  (Google 20-20 and Ryan if you wanna know the name that bad for crying out loud ... I don't pay attention enough to remember ALL the details!  *Nadar Wink*)

Where is Nadar???  Anyone know?  Still around here??  *wink*wink*

I'm going to rant here and then STFU up about it, because it's been eating me to the core!!  Jo Pa IS a legend!!  Anyone attempting to discredit his record as coach, because of the actions of some d-bag under him (who he reported!), better explain, in detail what other shortcomings he HAD!  Fact of the matter:  He reported the incident!  He didn't have firsthand knowledge of what took place, so calling the cops would've been Fn ret@rded for him ... WTF can 'he' report to them??  "Uhhhh, this guy says he saw this other guy in the showers ...."  <~~~ First thing out of any 'good' cops mouth would've been, "Can I speak to that guy? ... Would you excuse us?"  DUHHHH!!!  Firing him was Fn ret@rded!!!  And I truly believe after he left Penn St he didn't have nearly as much to fight for anymore!  The college and the players were his life for 46 years!!!  Now that he is gone Pennsylvania is dead to me!!!  I used to say, "I hate every team in Pennsylvania ... except Penn St, because of Joe Pa" ... now I can honestly say, "F Penn St!  Long live Pa!!!"

Some teacher in NY was giving prizes to her 5th grade students for not going to bathroom, and only permitted 3 bathroom breaks per week!  <~~~ If my kid had been in her class, I'd have told her to get up and go to the bathroom, so long as she excused him/herself politely!  Then I'd have had the teacher's a$$ in a sling!!!  If elementary schools want to keep kids from abusing bathroom breaks, all they need to do is what my school did:  we were escorted to the bathroom twice before lunch and twice after.  Each class knew when the breaks began and we cycled through by class to keep it orderly.

My math teacher is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not interesting!!  UGH!  So glad I'm only auditing!  *yawn*

Happy Monday people,

First off, congrats to the Pats and Giants.  Hate to see games end with mistakes, but sometimes that's the way the cookie crumbles.  My adopted team for this year's playoffs (the Giants) will win the Super Bowl.  You heard it here first, folks!  Their defensive line featuring Tuck and JPP will wreak havoc on Brady.  When Osi is your third best defensive lineman, you know you're awesome.  Oh yeah, Michael Crabtree is a BUST.  The next time I see him get separation from a DB will be the first time.  He doesn't run good routes (a knock on him coming out of college - 5 wide sets tend to hide that weakness), he isn't physical, and he flat out doesn't seem to have the desire needed to be a #1 WR.  All that said, the Niners will be very formidable for a long time...provided they address their WR corp and a few other areas.

The Hawks had a rough night on Saturday losing the game and our captain.  Need to get healthy.  Same with my Bulls, though they aren't having any trouble winning despite numerous injuries to key guys.  Deepest team in the NBA.

Regardless of your thoughts on JoePa, can we at least agree to let the man RIP for a few days before berating him?  Though I don't agree with the way he handled the Sandusky situation, he did A LOT of good over the years.  It certainly doesn't make up for turning a blind eye and doing the bare minimum, but his family deserves a few days of mourning before the jokes start flying.  And trust me, they are out there.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and remember, Al Gore was right.  Global warming is true.  How else do you explain this warm weather?

While I don't agree with his antics, is it fair Green Bay Packers players are allowed to do the Lambeau Leap?  Grandfathered in or not, it's not fair.

But yeah, VD was a disease yesterday.

Whatup?
Monday. Quick question. Why is everybody so hyped about the Super Bowl rematch between New England y New York (futbol) Giants when nobody wanted to see the LSU / Alabama rematch? Am I bitter? Nah, just wondering. (maybe, a little...so what if I am?)
Big-ups to George Lucas.Red Tails was a good movie. Shout out to the Houston Rockets. The Houston Rocket? That's right, six in a row is six in a row. WTF to the state of South Carolina. Newt Gingrich? Really? Doesn't the "Herman Cain Rule" apply here?

Sup?!?!?!

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out who to place more of the blame on in the NE-BALT game.  Lee Evans or Billy Cundiff?!?!?
Seeing that the Steelers are my 2nd favorite NFL team, you would think that I would be happy that BAL lost, but, rooting for NE, to me, is like rooting for the Yankees.      That was a pathetic ending!

SF-NYG   -  Wow!  What a fun game to watch, even though there wasn't much happening.  2 stellar defenses. Alex Smith couldn't do diddly-pooh against that NYG D!  I can tell you what, though, Vernon Davis has definitely made a name for himself as an elite TE in the NFL., if he hadn't before this year!  Too bad his stupidity is still in question!!
Victor Cruz was off the hook as well!  That kid has some major potential in the NFL if he can stay consistent.

I am excited to see the BULLS winning, even with key guys missing.  Even though we played Charlotte, we were without ROSE, GIBSON, and NOAH and won.  Now, DENG has a wrist injury but ROSE should be back this week to face the HATED Miami Heat.

B-HAWKS looked good Friday night, winning 3-1 against the FLORICAGO PANTHAWKS, but, then landed at 3am in Nashville and played that night and they were flat!  CHRISTI's  PREDS looked good and we looked like dung beetles!  Now, Toews is hurt. Sharpie is recovering from a fractured wrist and MIGHT be back Tuesday, although not likely, and now Toews may have a fractured wrist.  Since this is the last game until the ALL-STAR break, I would hope that both players will be given the night off to heal some more.

With baseball around the corner, it looks like Ozzie Guillen is getting antsy!  He reported last week that he will "kill people's feelings with no mercy" if he hears any criticism about his managing while with the White Sox.

Ash, Janet and the rest of those that can't stand poor grammar.......you are going to LOVE THIS!

Here is what OZZIE tweeted;

In order, all messages as written, the four tweets were as follows:

• "When i get to chitown lets make one thing clear what happen last day whit the sox stay tune"

• "Iam out the country now but i never quit in anything yes be ready when i talk going to be fun"

• "I will kill peoples fellings no mercy i turn the page but they no let me a long then get ready going to be bad"

• "People want me to look bad but I so honest i wiil saynthe real true put u seat belt on"

One thing is for certain, OZZIE is definitely good for sports.  Whether you can't stand him or love him, his comments are always entertaining, one way or an other!!

Those of you that watch the Showtime series SHAMELESS with William H. Macy and Emily Rossum, we all know how sexy Emma Rossum is, but, I'm starting to become very fond of one of the other actors on that show, Shalona Hampton!  mmmmm-mmm!  SEX-AAAY!

i went and saw that 9/11 tom hanks sandra bullock thing on friday. i sobbed through a good 2/3 of it. but overall, i think it was an weak story laid on top of an attention-grabbing situation. whoever directed does need to give that little kid an ice cream or something, because he does ptsd like a g**d**n champ.

i did something stupid on friday night. like mind-numbing stupid. and tonight i am going to dinner to hopefully stop divorces from happening and for christ's sake stop fists from going through walls. i should be required to carry an insurance thingy that protects me from too much drama when i unintentionally stir a pot or in friday night's case, punch someone in the stomach (also unintentional). i'm just an idiot and i think idiots as a whole, should carry cards on them. not to get us off the hook for being idiots. but just to assure those we care about that there wasn't ill intent. and every year we idiots go without royally pissing someone off on accident, our deductible (calculated in hours, days, years spent in proverbial dog house) goes down. just a thought. (scuse me. call number one from the second party of three involved in this particular claim.) f**k it.

i get to keep the j.lo shoes ffrom new year's eve. they are amazing. can't drive a standard for s**t in them though. i blew my last 4 gallons of gas going one mile on friday. worth it. one gentleman thought i was revving my engine at him when i was just trying to get that bitch going at a stop light. either that or he winked at me cause he's also tried driving a stick in 5" heels with platforms at the toes and knows it's impossible to do it coolly.

roomie seems to be shaking the blues more and more. i even got him to laugh twice this morning. my heart is full at home these days.

 Morning.

I'm tired and a tad grumpy. OH....and looking out my window I see that it is raining. Just what any teacher loves ------rainy days.  I just hope it stops by lunch or at least one recess so I can release my bladder.

I'm going to avoid all other Paterno threads. It's giving me a headache. People feel different about the man. Deal with it. There are just some things I can't "let go" or "overlook" because of years of other good stuff. I just can't.

Kings play tonight, then it's 9 days off for them. This will be a good break for both of us because they are slowly killing a teach. Saturday was horrible. Not only did they not show up (Stoney----your Avs played great), but then I had to listen to my seatmates, one being my mother, go on and on and on and on about how "they don't care"  and that they "are still making their money" and "do you think players just can't play in Los Angeles". I know she is my mother and I came out of her, but geez I wanted to trade her in. I was happy when her home came into view and I dropped her off, but not without this last comment, "They better win on Monday." I will know if God digs me if the Kings do win tonight because my mom may be needing a cab after.

Now the football games. Wow. So it's the Mouthbreather vs. the Pretty One. Great. I just want to win some money in the SB pool.

Be nice to one and other. Remember to floss.

Gonna miss my work-Dad

All I can think of right now is Will Ferrell singing "Dust in The Wind" at Blue's funeral in Old School....Hahaha I'm a weird one

You're my boy Blue!!!

OK, back, back to the fu**in' basics
You got yours and mine; I want you to taste it
Open wide and no don't you waste it
Ahh, s**t; all over your face, kid

What's up peoples.
First off, the Avs split their two game roadie in southern California by beating Becky's Kings, and then handing the game to the Ducks last night.  Seriously gonna give Bobby Ryan 3 breakaways, huh? Ugh..

I actually had nothing going on this weekend, so cleaning and laundry weekend it was.. Accompanied by movies and watching the entire 1st season of Homeland.  By far the best show on TV by the way, sorry Breaking Bad..
Time for rapid fire movie reviews.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - I can see how it doesn't score big with moviegoing audiences as there are no robots, aliens, wolves, vampires, cgi explosions or 3D.  Instead, a great story based on a great book, with a cast of great actors and a movie you have to actually pay attention to.
The Ides of March - Ryan Gosling was good, but best scenes of the movie were led by Clooney and Philip Seymour Hoffman
The Guard - This may have been one of the best movies I've seen in a while.  Don Cheadle was really good as he always is, and Brenden Gleeson was great as he always is.  There's a reason this thing scored 94% on the tomatometer.
Bellflower - One review of this movie said it was like (500) Days of Summer, but when the guy gets dumped he blow s**t up.  Awesome, fu**ed up little indie film, that got a little unnecessarily convaluted and got in its own way at the end, but very enjoyable

Can't say I'm too surprised with the outcomes of the football games yesterday.. The ways they ended on the other hand...
This is going to be tough when it comes to cheering since somebody I'm very close with is quite the little Giants fan and the only other team I openly root for besides the Broncos is the Patriots and have been dating back to the glorious Steve Grogan era.  Should make for an interesting Super Bowl.

Poor Joe Paterno.. Hung on one year too long.

And now for your monday, a little Stephen Lynch

Stephen Lynch - Dr. Stephen

I'm a rich and famous doctor
I always thought I'd be
An expert in the field of
Gynecology

Next on my agenda:
Checking your pudenda
Let me see what I can find
If you get your nerve up
Slip inside the stirrups
Single thought will cross my mind:

I love puuuuuuuuuuuuuuutting women's minds at rest
I love puuuuuuuuuuuuuuushing myself to be the best
Dr. Stephen's in

I've got magic fingers
The doctor of the year
There's not a lip that I can't read
A pap that I can't smear

When your legs are open
I begin the gropin'
But I fear I must be blunt
I would just as soon not
Go near your balloon knot
Think that I'll stick to your cu...front

Oh, my song for the day because that Sun Drop commercial brought back fun high school memories:

Then you want to dance,
Yo T! Kick that stupid shhhhhhhhhhh

Everybody, gather around
It's the T about to throw down
If you don't know who I am,
I'm tha fool who makes you jam!
Now it's time for you to party
Feel the rhythm in yo' body
I got somethin' fo' yo' soul
Shake that booty, make it roll!
Work it work it ain't no stoppin'
Keep on keep on keep on rockin'
Twist that booty 'round and 'round
Bring it on down!
Bring it on down!
If you are a sexy cutie
And you got a big ole booty
Come on baby, come on dance
With too much booty in yo' pants

Dance! Too much booty in the pants! [x7]
Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance!

Now I got ya in the groove
Shake that booty like a fool
All the ladies with tha boo

Boom shakka lakka boom shakka lakka boom!
[Ladies:] (BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA BOOM!)
Yeah, say boom shakka lakka boom shakka lakka boom!
[Ladies:] (BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA BOOM!)

Come on, party people, don't stop
We gon' take it straight to tha top
Too much booty in yo' pants
Put the fellas in a trance
Yo, fellas lemme hear you say yeah!
[Fellas:] (YEAH!)

All you ladies in the house say yeah!

Morning Q'rs
Things are not much brighter but I am feeling better. I still want to scream "you stoopid frucking biotches" (Tori, my oldest says this is mean), I know monkey (my nickname for her) , but I would feel better. I won't because I would feel guilty after, but the whole thing is I may die from some horrible thing but at least I am not dying from regret like you three are, everyday a little more.....anyway I did not light up this morning which made me feel better about me, I have no fingernails, but they are overrated anyhoo. I have decided not to watch the Super Bowl, well, because basically I am a sore loser, (whatever), I think there is a marathon of Twilight Zone or something anyway.
Daytona in 35 days, which reminds me I did a poll, please go do...(i won't laugh to hard), it is a Nascar WSI, (im addicted), thats all of my whimpering, again thanks for skimming.
almost forgot again, Ash, White Collar was good, yeah that's all

Wiggles - my daughter's teacher last year wouldn't let them go to the restroom either. Kiernan ended up with a really nasty bladder infection (I'm not sure that contributed or not, but still), at which point I told her teacher that if my daughter needs to go to the restroom, she'd better damn well let her go to the restroom. I believe in having as few distractions as possible but really? When ya gotta go, ya gotta go...especially kids.

I figured since I was coming back anyway I'd better do it now so I can get to work uninterrupted. Filter will haunt me otherwise.

So this Friday is the day! Again, I know everyone else thinks I've lost my marbles but I'm more excited for One for the Money than I've been for any other movie to come out. Ever. I hated Heigl in Grey's, but I think she's great at physical comedy...which is crucial to Stephanie Plum's character. I don't know a whole lot of actresses out there who are the right age, have the right look, and can pull off goofy - she'll be fine. And Ranger is perfect. I'm keeping an open mind on the rest.

Went to a wedding Saturday. I hate weddings, but as weddings go, this one was nice. It was on the beach, there were about 25 guests, and it was short. Perfect. The bride was of course beautiful and the groom handsome in his Bravos. Instead of going to the dinner though (they didn't have a reception), we went home and played Rock Band.

Yesterday my daughter was in the Flagler Centennial Parade or something like that. We parents rode on the same trolley, and the kids sang "I've been workin' on the railroad" all the live-long day. No, the end-quote is in the correct position. There were a ton of Navy guys in their little fancy white Navy uniforms walking around. Every time we'd pass a group of them, I'd imagine them breaking out in song and dance. It was fun in my head, but the never obliged. I also got a horrible sunburn...on the right side of my body. I look like some sort of messed up farmer candy cane. At least it got my entire face so I don't look like I should be in a Batman movie.

So I wasn't sure about the whole Keurig craze...until I saw they have Starbucks Pike Place Roast. Uhm, yes please! That'll be my next purchase. I'm tired of wasting coffee because I'm the only one in the house who drinks it, but I was hesitant to move from my PPR.

 More like bottles....

Actually Saturday Night/Sunday Morning it was 7/7.  I didn't want the caffeine.  And for all my stalkers, I met a semi-normal girl.  She wasn't from New York, which was a positive.  We shall see.  Hopefully see her again Wednesday because my ass will play volleyball for 2 hours then go get F*************************************ked up.  Celebrating.  She knows.

Hockey tonight, last before the All-Star break.  Only one Cane going, and Faulk is a rookie.  I guess the future looks bright.

I'm not saying I'm perverted (won't deny it either) but why is at least 90% of peoples words and actions sexual to me?  Maybe withdrawal...

Go Pats.

Some responses after reading:

Crash:  Because this rematch is after playoffs, not because some ass-monkey in BFE rated teams in alphabetical order.

Hippie:  If you find that insurance, let me know.  Or maybe we can put together a business plan and be the ones making money off of it.

I will remember the good of Paterno, but won't forget his one moral mistake.

Jess:  Weddings are just bad to begin with (imo ) but beaches and few people make them very bearable.

I think that's all.

me.

*yawn*
Jesus. I, personally, don't discredit him as a coach, but as a person... different story.

and I  won't go into detail about it because it's gonna upset me more, and I don't want to hate you at the end of this conversation. Making excuses won't change anything, but rest assured, if it were any other coach, leader, a family member, or a godd**n President, I'd feel the same.

I can't remember if anyone here or I posted this from last week, but just in case, here you go.  Last week, Edmonton Oilers player Taylor Hall was involved in a freak accident in pregame warmups which saw him ending up on the ice with a teammate, colliding into the boards, then having another teammate trying to hurdle the pair step on Hall's face. Thank You Puck Daddy Canada for the video

Anyway, Hall ended up getting 30 stitches

Thankfully he's all right, but the thing I found funny about the situation was the fact that Hall has kept saying over and over how it doesn't look good, and some blogs/sites have talked about the handsome Hall not being so handsome anymore, and all I can think of, is "Seriously? The guy looks like the autistic 3-point shooting wizard" Look at the guy before the accident..

PS - You're rooting for the Giants.  Publicly and privately.  Or I'm breaking up with you.

Hola amigos(except Mike) y amigas

I don't really care for either team in the SB but I do hate the Patriots a lil more so I will be rooting for the Giants! Although I feel like it won't be an exciting game.

I hate rainy weather. I hope it stops by the time I get off work. I also hate not being able to go out as often as I used to. Being at home can be boring...

from the day I was born.....my first words from the womb were "NINERS BABY"!! followed by "GO GIANTS" (the baseball variety) . So, after devoting the last six months to one of the most surprising and awesome turnarounds in Bay Area sports history the Niners season came to a thunderous crash yesterday and it sucks to be a diehard at times like this. However, the 49ers will prevail under the leadership of Jim Harbaugh and this is a young, very talented football team, I look forward to seeing them in a similar position at the same time next year, hopefully with a different outcome......here's a thought.....although it sucks to be a Niner or Raven fan right now can you imagine how rough it must be to a member of the Harbaugh family today? ...anyhow...of the 49ers 4 losses this season they were in position to have been victorious in every one of those games...we here in the Bay Area are very grateful for this football team...

With that I say "GO GIANTS"....I hope they rip Brady's head from his body and sh*t down his neck

I never understood the whole refusing to let a student use the rest room thing. Last year, I had a class of "Weak Bladders." To deal with that, I made them sign their name each time they went, then I showed this info to their parents. This seemed to help. I also gave them time limits. If they didn't hurry back they owed me a minute of recess.

Giants and Pats in the Super Bowl, trying to find a reason to pick a team to win this is like asking me whether I would prefer my mother to get cancer or my sister to get AIDS. Go team alcohol and commercials on February 5, 2012!

Also by the time I leave Flagstaff, I plan on looking like a proper Flagstaff hippie. I plan on not shaving or cutting my hair till I leave.

Evening, folks.

Stoney, want to see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Bellflower has been in my queue for a while. Glad to hear they're both good.

I'm rooting for the Pats, love Belichick and like Brady. Although, I've picked against the Giants every playoff game, so they have that going for them.

Got a new book list (thanks Janet), but working on 'Les Mis' now, and it's kinda great. 1/50th of the way through.

The death threats on Kyle Williams last night were pretty disgusting.
