Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Morning. I'm tired and don't have much. I smell like mango temptation, and I must say, I smell delicious. Love it. I didn't know Criminals Minds was still on tv...with NEW episodes. That made me laugh last night. Is Ghost whisperer still on, too? I'm probably gonna stream something tonight. Suggestions?

I need a day off and a new video game and a drink...SOME drinks, and a *** and some sleep.

Hey ya'll!

Not much going on!

I get the JOY of driving 3.5 hours up to Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin after work today and then...wait, get this, another 1.5 hrs to Green Bay tomorrow night!  OH JOY!  Why couldn't they send me somewhere like.....oh, I don't know...Phoenix, L..A., San Diego, Houston, Miami??  NOOOOOOOO!  Hey, big guy, you're going to............................WISCONSIN!

I have a 2 day business training trip....tomorrow in Fond Du Lac and Thursday in GB and once that training is done on Thursday, I have the joy, again, of driving some 4 hours back home.  yay!  I know, I know.....you are all jealous and hate me for rubbing it in!

The Chicago Bulls got Derrick Rose back last night as well as Jo Noah but were without Luol Deng and still without Taj "Mahal" Gibson....thank god we were playing the NETS.   We had 6 players in double figures in points, led by Rose and Rip Hamilton with 22 a piece and Scalabrine even played 22 minutes    I think that's more than he played all of last year?!?!?

Did any of you see this shootout goal by Danny Richmond last night???   IT WAS SICK!!!!!!

He put the puck through his legs, from front to back and in the same motion, shot the puck, from behind him, into the goal. This was in the 12th round of shootouts. It was one of the coolest moves I have ever seen.

Jonathan Toews is out of action and will be missing the ALL-STAR game as well with an arm injury!  F**K, I hope it's nothing too serious!  He's been our hottest player over the past.......season!

Blackhawks are home tonight to seek revenge against CHRISTI's PREDS!  GO HAWKS!

Have a KICK-A$$ day!

I haven't been here too much because I don't feel I could make a contribution to the site with my posts. I feel like in limbo, no shame, no glory, just, meh...So I prefer to come and read your comments, that always brings a smile to my face, and go back to my routine. Maybe I'll go to the park and start my walks again that is pretty relaxing, but it has to be in the afternoon, right now is a little bit cold. I'll get my medicine (coffee) a sandwich and I'll keep reading. Have a fantastic day today. Love you all

Hola Qmigos,

Can someone stop the Wings already?  They are on FIRE.  A franchise record 17 in a row at home after beating the Blues last night.  How funny was it watching Backes try and fight Jimmy Howard?  What a bi**h that guy is.  He always goes after guys that don't fight, only to run away when someone that will take the action comes along.  The entire Blues team is a bunch of fake tough guys, sans Stewart.

The Bulls just keep rolling despite the injuries.  Rose was back last night, though you can tell he isn't close to 100%.  He needs to rest his toe.  We have the deepest team in the NBA and he can afford to take a few games off.  Hoping Deng doesn't need surgery.  That would be a huge blow.

NSD is just over a week away....then the REAL countdown starts (much to Ash's chagrin).  Go Irish!

(my favorite recruit in this class - Cali Player of the Year, Deontay Greenberry aka the next Michael Floyd)

Morning.

The Kings won last night.....which was a good thing because it would have sucked to have ditched my poor mama on the streets of Downtown Los Angeles. It was a great game.  They scored FOUR GOALS! Of course one was a penalty shot that should have never been called (neeners!) but still. It was awesome, and it was all sparked by the fourth line of Kyle Clifford (Gordie Howe hat trick), Fraser, and Westgarth. I love when that sh*t happens. Now they are off for 9 days. We needed the break from each other.

Today my class is having a "Puck Day." It was postponed from yesterday due to the rain (and my lameness only getting 2 boxes of Pucks instead of 3). The kids are pumped. Nothing like a little Hostess (doing my part to keep that company going) yumminess to get the kids excited. Not to mention it's a great little something something to hang over their heads to get them to behave.

Anyone see The Daily Show last night? I don't think Stewart can get any more sexy.....especially when he points out the ridiculousness which is Newt. Then Colbert comes on and .........well....uh.....well yeah. It's a great 1,2 punch.

Morning, Everybodee!

I'm all alone in the office today, except for the various technicians coming and going.   My manager's wife is having surgery today.  (She has been battling a rare form of cancer, one of those 'sarcomas' that typically are found in older people, usually 60+, she's in her 20s.)  She has had several procedures over the last 3 years or so, and it keeps popping up in different areas.    Keeping her in prayers.

My fellow admin assistant is out on disability, her work area and the way she interacts with it has contributed to a loss of curvature in her spine, and she's been in therapy for a few weeks to get back to whatever is normal.  She's been back to work part-time, but today she is getting MRIs done.

So, I get all the calls, while trying to compile our inventory counts into the system.  My eyes are going to be blurring like crazy later.  At least I get to crank up the music and pop in here for breaks.

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

I just wrote out some big long political diatribe, but it contained way too much useful information for Ashlie to actually read, so I deleted it and this is what you F'ers get today.

Presidential Advisor David Plouffe (poor b*st*rd) says we can expect a "very specific economic outline" from President Barry tonight.  I didn't know Obama did stand up comedy.  Actually, I can expect to watch anything but the useless f**king drivel and inane lies that spew forth from the mouths of the lying, thieving, scum sucking. bottom feeding f**ks that run this country.  I would rather watch "The Notebook" with my wife than the State of the Union address.

So, I know my tan looks a little better now.  NASA type geeky nerdy f**kers say that the strongest solar storms since 2005 are striking planet mothership right now, but remaining true to their ego's, they say we aint in any real danger.  'Scuse me Mr, Miss, and Mrs. Geeky, Nerdy type, but Cactus Jack begs to differ.  This chunk of f**king rock we are riding on is gonna get creamated one of these days, and it will definitely be right after one of you uber-smart f**kers tells us all there aint no danger coming.  The Mayans said it...the Bible says it...the Quran says it...Nostradumba$$ said it, ...and most importantly,Bubba at the gas station says it.  That settles it.  Now ladies, don't forget there is still time for those pics.  Don't delay though...you never know which time its gonna be when the geeky, nerdy types are lying to you.

In the world of sports, a couple of teams nobody really gives two $h*ts about are gonna be playing in the Superbowl.  At least there's another reason to sell commercials for 10 trillion dollars a nanosecond.  Somebody's gotta make that buck.

That's enough for you F'ers today.

You've been edJACKated!

So I was just checking out the Oscar nominations... huh.... Was it really that weak of a year of movies?
Then I had to go back to my list of my favorite movies from 2011.. There was a lot of stuff that got overlooked for mediocre performances
Mike and Molly got a nomination for Bridesmaids? Every woman who starred in a movie just cried a little for saying their performances were so bad, a woman who's biggest contribution to a film was shi**ing in a sink got an oscar nomination over them.
My two favorite Docs weren't nominated, Senna and Buck.
I don't even have to see War Horse to know it wasn't deserving of 6 nominations..
Looking at some of these, where is the love for movies like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, or on a more realistic note, Take Shelter, 50/50, Circumstance, Incendies, Point Blank?  Frowny Face
I'm going to see the Descendants this week.. From what I've heard it's not as great as you think it would be with all the Oscar buzz.
One last Oscar note.  Is anybody going to watch? People are making this seem like a big deal with Billy Crystal hosting, but am I the only person in the world who just doesn't give a s**t about Billy Crystal?  I don't find him funny, or entertaining, especially now that he's 72 and hasn't done anything worth 2 cents in a decade.

Avs have one more tonight before the All Star Break.  A win would be fantastic, but they always play like garbage against Minnesota.

Tim Thomas made a bad move ditching the white house visit yesterday.  I love the guy, but seriously, it's not about youuuu douchebaaaag.

I think 24 comes back on Wednesday.. But this time the terrorist is an autistic kid.. I think.. I don't know, I don't really pay attention to commercials

Hola amigos y amigas

So my throat is sore, I may be getting some kind of illness. I have been taking vitamin C, but I think I started it too late. The only good that could come out of this is I will have a raspy sexy voice for like a day or two! Maybe I should just have a shot of Tequila at lunch time.

I started the 2nd book of the Hunger Games trilogy. Its called Catching Fire. I can't seem to put it down. I don't want to finish it too quick, since I haven't bought the 3rd book yet. Has anyone else read these?

That's all I have for now...hope all of you have a wonderfully amazing day!

4.  Mini Movie Review by the Movie Snob: Killer Elite....Horrible.  DeNiro needs to retire.  Statham is playing the same character he's played in every movie since he stopped working with Guy Ritchie.   Clive Owen is the second least believable action star behind Liam Neeson.  And no hot chic to break up the monotony.   When the best part about this movie is the guy from Prison Break you know you have a winner on your hands.

5.  My three week vacation is coming up in a couple of weeks.  Cant wait.  Almost the whole month of February off!

Jack and Jason, merely a suggestion, but since the majority of us are not like Kat. Since we don't work in a bank and actually have to work, when we are at work, and don't get a 3 day weekend every 2 weeks. Maybe you should make menage-a-tard a weekly poll, where you all could come and go as you have free time, rather than trying to do the question/answer session in one day.

That lineup is going to be NASTY.  It's almost unfair to have that kind of murderers row at the dish to go along with your pitching staff.

I don't know about a "murderers row" don't forget Victor Martinez is out for the year. They will be tough, they should win the division. But who knows...maybe Fielder will adapt to the AL the same way Adam Dunn did.

I don't know why, but nobody will let me babysit.  The closest I've been to actually being responsible for taking care of another person's child was last year when a young woman was at the golf course at the same time as a group of us from here at work, and she caught in with the group.  She had her son with her, and we watched over and guided the blessed little child while she was busy trying to actually hit the little white ball in the hole.  I still don't understand whay she was so mad when he repeated to her "$h*t happens, momma".  It really does, you know.

Shocked I actually saw one of the Best Picture nominees this year (Moneyball, of course). This feels like a mediocre year. The mainstream movies all looked like crap yet again (look at the movies that made over $100 million last year, that's why box office should never have anything to do with Oscar noms), and the Oscar bait that got nominated didn't look that interesting. Agree with Stoney that Senna got robbed.

Really wish the State of the Union was at 8 instead of 9. I don't really want to break into tonight's studying like that, but such is the call of the political junkie.

Lastly, no I'm not one of those fed employees not paying their taxes. Agree that it's disgraceful that so many aren't.

Today, I got a prescription for glasses.  Apparently, I'm doing something that's making me go blind.
#86 | 965 days ago

Evening.

I showed up late for my appointment today. I hate being late, despise it, actually. I'm usually 45 minutes early because using public transportation, I assume something will go wrong and I can still make up for it. Today though, I was coming from another appointment, and the bus seemed to hit every red light possible along with slow people taking as much time as humanly possible to get in and out of the bus.

My knee was shaking by the time I knew for sure I'd be 10 minutes late.

I still watch the Oscars, it's not because of Billy Crystal (although, I can still watch and laugh hysterically at When Harry Met Sally and both City Slickers movies any day), but it's just something I've always done, and I actually like some/most of the 'popular' actors/actresses and like hearing them speak, even if it is some canned sh**.

My favorite movies of 2011: 50/50, Drive, Like Crazy. In that order.

Found out Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and The Artist are across the street, so I might be checking both out this or next week.

Those Nutella Cupcakes look plain evil.

Glenn Close as Albert Nobbs in 'Albert Nobbs.' In addition to playing the titular character, Close was a producer on the film and co-wrote the script with John Banville.

I bet you look good in them, too!   Librarian!

Glenn Close as Albert Nobbs in 'Albert Nobbs.' In addition to playing the titular character, Close was a producer on the film and co-wrote the script with John Banville.

I almost killed the co-worker who seems to have orgasms over everything I do today, but instead I want for a fake tan session.  It felt really good.  Much better than murder would have.  However, I've decided I am writing a letter to the area manager to outline the stress she is causing.  The manager of the store just thinks it is hilarious, but I do not.  The assistant manager does understand, but as long as the manager acts like a douche, we are kind of stuck.

Being told:
1.  My son is an awesome artist (today's count 6).
2. My daughter is soooo cute (today's count 8)
3.  I have the toughest drive home (today's count 6) but I am an incredible driver (also 6) so it will be no problem
4. No one knows how to pick an order as well as I do, I NEVER have mistakes (today's count 4, but only cuz the store closed and there was no one to tell)
5.  I am the best bartender around (today's count 3)
6. If she ever has any legal problems she will get me to help her because I am so smart I should be a lawyer (today's count a whopping TEN - hence the wish to commit said murder)

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Supposedly, I have been doing that since I was 13. I still have the eyesight of a hawk.

You say "Yes", I say "No".
You say "Stop" and I say "Go, go, go".
Oh no.
You say "Goodbye" and I say "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't know why you say "Goodbye", I say "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello.
I say "High", you say "Low".
You say "Why?" And I say "I don't know".
Oh no.
You say "Goodbye" and I say "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't know why you say "Goodbye", I say "Hello, hello, hello".
(Hello, goodbye, hello, goodbye. Hello, goodbye.)
I don't know why you say "Goodbye", I say "Hello".
(Hello, goodbye, hello, goodbye. Hello, goodbye. Hello, goodbye.)
Why, why, why, why, why, why, do you
Say "Goodbye, goodbye, bye, bye".
Oh no.
You say "Goodbye" and I say "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't know why you say "Goodbye", I say "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't know why you say "Goodbye", I say "Hello".
You say "Yes", I say "No".
(I say "Yes", but I may mean "No").
You say "Stop", I say "Go, go, go".
(I can stay still it's time to go).
Oh, oh no.
You say "Goodbye" and I say "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't know why you say "Goodbye", I say "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't know why you say "Goodbye", I say "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't know why you say "Goodbye", I say "Hello-wow, oh. Hello".
Hela, heba, helloa. Hela, heba, helloa. Hela, heba, helloa.
Hela, heba, helloa. (Hela.) Hela, heba, helloa. Hela, heba, helloa.
Hela, heba, helloa. Hela, heba, helloa. Hela, heba, helloa.

According to a survey taken of the brightest mind this side of the Mississippi that sounds about right, although girls may start losing their eyesight sooner. You may have to consult pedobear to confirm these results.

No pedobear! It's not a crime to cause your own vision problems.

though I'm pretty sure one of my friends used to molest one of her bears...

Holy helllllll.....that must be a girl thang because this woman I know, who I won't name (Mrs.mojo) said she had one of those big, teddy bears that she used to do things with and she wasn't talking about having tea and crumpets. when I asked for details she called me a perv and slapped me on the back of the head.

Um sure. I was a little shocked and appalled by her telling us that, and none of the other chicks abused our bears that way. There were about 11 of us, so I'm just gonna go ahead and say their freak flags flew a little wilder than the rest of us.  I would never do that to a bear..... Oh sh**, I just realize her new dude's name is Bear. Haaa. Crazy girl.
