Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Morning. My back hurts. My Hawks are doing better than my Lakers overall... disconcerting, but Go my teams. I'm not in the mood to type the extra stuff especially since I know it will be slow today. Did anyone go see Underworld?

 Morning.

Thanks to the answer choices, I just busted out my Bobby stuff. Going to play it full blast as I get ready for work. Maybe add in some Baby's Got Back and a little Bust a Move.

The greatest man I've ever known was born on this day 65 years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't wish I could tell him that.

My favorite part of the NHL All Star stuff is tonight-----------the draft. I love it. Quick better be one of the first 6 goaltenders chosen.

It's suppose to be 80 today.  (I hate to say this, but that there is .......whispering ....."Earthquake weather")

Hope everyone has a enjoyable day. Remember to......stop, drop, and roll if ever you catch on fire.

 Last few days have bl*wn.

I'm going through this insomnia "phase" lately where I try to go to sleep but my body won't let me. Then if I do go to sleep it's only for 2 hours then I wake up and go through the cycle again.

Happy Thursday Q'Ville- I want to be in Boston, Chicago or AK right now, this 50 degree January weather is for the birds and they belong in the South right about now!!!! BRING ME SNOW DAMMIT!!
#5 | 1000 days ago

Howdy my people,

Tried a new Mexican spot last night.  Pretty sure it will be my go-to Mexican joint for the foreseeable future.  Got a medium carne asada burrito with all the fixins for only $5.  Not only was the thing HUGE, it was delicious.  On top of that, the service couldn't have been better unless J Lo or Eva Mendes was the counter girl.

Anyone else enjoy the Canadiens waxing the Wings as much as me?  I figured Detroit would come out flat after the Blues game, but DAMN!

MSU and ND basketball posted wins last night.  Meanwhile, my Bulls lost their first home game of the season.  Was bound to happen, but I wish it wasn't to the Pacers.  It was funny watching them jump around like they just won the title, though.

Anyone ever been to Ireland?  Thinking about heading over in the fall for ND's game vs Navy.  It's pretty expensive, but it would be a cool experience and I've always wanted to hit up the Guinness Brewery (and the Blarney Stone of course).

Wait. That was an actual game!?!?? I thought the NHL Network was running a 'classic' game of the '78 Habs because of the All-Star break.

Texts we were sending right as DET scored  and cut it to 6-2 at the beginning of the 3rd:

Other highlights (not CoC appropriate) include having our wild / talented / lunatic D-man Subban change his name to Metta World P!ss and that our nonchalant as hell goalie Price probably thinks taking a nap is good foreplay. 2012 Montreal Canadiens, feel the excitement!

I really don't have much today.. Stupid 10:30 hockey games.. I think I finally got to sleep around 3 am.. Ugh

So here is a song.. One of my favortie rock vocalists Johnny Craig and one of the several bands he's been in, with perhaps my favorite song title ever

Dance Gavin Dance - And I Told Them I Invented Times New Roman

But now you know that I am cold
(Take me out now, I've dropped the mast down)
And now I am found
(Take me out now, I've dropped the mast down)

Duck down, then hide, behind the file cabinet
Duck down, then hide, behind the file cabinet, down
Without ever letting go I knew you'd gone
Duck down, then hide, behind the file cabinet
Duck down, then hide, behind the file cabinet, down
Without ever letting go I knew you'd gone astray
Stranded here in this cold atmosphere.
Waiting for the lifeless words to come from your mouth
Enduring every sound

This is not why the cast is hollow
Sending the rats to follow
Under the weight of all these eyes
Fry

But now you know that I am cold
(Take me out now, I've dropped the mast down)
And now I am found
(Take me out now, I've dropped the mast down)

I lay without understanding
I don't know why I feel this way
Oh lay down girl take my world
I know why I can't see your face
I've placed every mole there is to place on your wasted body
Oh, lay down girl and take my world
I know why I can't see your face

As the window left shattered now
We saw the withered body try to shout
You thought the price of your life was devout
And told us some things you can't live without
And was this what was best for us
And was this what was best for us

Just let it show (Rest where you ought to be)
(Block out your misery)
I'll bring you far (Wait for the call)
Well I'll go for it (You left in the hallway)
I'll beg you when you know (People they change)
(And I would still be ashamed)
I'll beg you when it shows (To let the weight of the world)
Well I'll go for it (Rest on your shoulders)
I don't believe the lies (I'll fight until the war is over)
I don't believe the lies (I'll fight until the war is over)
I'll die for you (I'll fight until the war is over)
(I'll fight until the war is over)
I don't believe the lies (I'll fight until the war is over)
I don't believe the lies (I'll fight until the war is over)
It's staged for you (I'll fight until the war is over)
(I'll fight until the war is over)

Left at my feet rests the soul of my brother
Vengeance will fall for the deeds of another

Ice Cream Castles, peoples...You don't know?  You need The Time in your lives...

oh, and Chili Sauce, Jerome!!

Does being an bump pimple always get you what you want in society?  Why do you have to be belligerent and nasty to get things from certain services or businesses?  I'm told I am "way too nice" when I ask for service...I'm not a rude person, so yes, I am nice.  But when or why do I have to put on the A**H**e act to just get something that should be provided for me anyway??

Maybe I was in the Air Force too long...I was taught manners and respect by my parents...Now I must convert to being a prick just to ensure when I request no pickles, there are NO PICKLES; or if I need a certain medication, it doesn't take 3 HOURS upon request!

I'm a referree for JHS and HS basketball here in TX, and I gotta tell ya, this has been the most rewarding part of the game I have done...yeah, because they pay me...but also you get to hear and see the funniest stuff at these games!!  Hope to get sactioned in VA/DC/MD area, too.  I love basketball.  I hate how my Lakers look, tho (I feel ya, Ash!)

No lyrics, but today's song is FUNKDAFIED by DA BRAT...just let the beat get you through the day!!

Rant off...chill mode on...Make it happen, folks!!

Good day, bitches.

It really IS a slow day, all around, it seems.

My friend Nikki, her fiance, and her 1300 kids were over yesterday, visiting from out of town.  I'm ok with that because, for some reason, children LOVE me.

Her 5 year old son especially loves me, even though I scared the hell out of him repeatedly all day by telling him stories of the flesh-eating midget that lives in the closet under my stairs.  The door on it is only about 4 feet tall, so the story worked out perfectly.  I named him Billabong (the midget, not her son).  It was the first thing that popped in my head.  I don't know WHY it was the first thing that popped in my head, but whatever.

Don't worry, I eventually let him discover the truth on his own (that it's just a storage closet that also holds my water heater), after hyping him up for an hour or so and prepping him for battle with Billabong the Flesh-Eating Midget.  How could he even stand a chance against THIS...

Hola amigos y amigas

Its sunny today, and it makes me happy! I am a lil bummed because I have to spend the second half of my day in a training class for work. Some new product we are gonna offer. It's after lunch so I hope I don't fall asleep.

I finished reading the second Hunger Games book. Becky I don't know if you already started it or not, but I enjoyed it. Lots of twists that I wasn't expecting. I'm going to buy the 3rd book tonight.

Hope everyone has a great day...Dee glad to see you 2 days in a row!!

I live up near the BC/Yukon border.  Our normal low for this time of year is about -18C and the normal high is -10C.  Our temperatures this winter have been above freezing a lot, and the expected low for the next two weeks is -3 to -5, with expected highs to be +2 to +5C (that's 16F to 34F)

You would think if you wanted winter, this would be the place to be, but this winter is so wacked from what we should have, it is mind boggling.

We also have virtually no snow - about 3"

Hauled water after work today because our cistern was almost empty.  Hauled 4 loads (1200 gal) and got us enough to last a couple of weeks.  Also got home two hours before I would have had I worked a full week.  The girl I am replacing was in as I was leaving, and will be off work another month.  That means I am guaranteed another month of full time, with a schedule, so I can make appointments and stuff.

I picked up the glasses today.  I can't look down while I'm wearing them b/c I"m expecting to step off a curb that isn't there.  Weird.

I gotta type a paper that's due in 30.
Did you get progressive lenses? Because I got some about a month ago and did the same thing. Mrs. mojo and I had had a fight the night before and since she works for an eye doc and his office is on the third floor of this doctors building, she said it was a good thing she loved me or she would have had me take the stairs when I left.

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

No time for world news today.  You may safely assume that crazy f**kers are still doing crazy $h*t, and people died because of it.

Anyhow, My oldest baby Cactus Jack, who is 23, called his daddy a while ago to tell me I'm gonna be a grand-cactii.  Good $h*t there!

You f'ers need to get off your a$$e$ and take a F'n poll.  Ask Jack don't come around every g*d d*mn day you know.

I'm trying to figger out why I keep giving James all of this fodder to talk $h*t to me about my spelling.  I think my brain aint working as good as it used to ever since I quit washing certain parts with extra soap.

Is there ever a point to all this $h*t?  Why, that would ruin everything, wouldn't it?
Congrats on the addition to the cacti legacy......shaping the minds of Americas future begins at home and falls upon you as the grand-cacti to learn him or her  the important stuff.
