Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

Well, well, well....looks like politicians are the same, no matter where you go.  Officials siezed 16 KGs of cocaine at the UN, after the "unknown, white powdery substance" was found inside some pouches that were disguised to look like official UN pouches.  HAHAHAHA...stoopid f**kers.  If you are gonna make a dope deal, you gotta remember to pay off the mailroom guy.  Everybody knows that.

So, apparently there was another GOP debate last night.  Anybody watch it?...anybody?

Jim Irsay seems to be a bit F'n mifed at Peyton for going public about the shambles the Colts are in.  I'd be pissed too if I was him.  I mean, seriously, how many of you f**kers had any idea that the Colts organization was just a complete and total cluster f**k?  It wasn't exactly a secret there, Jimmy boy.

Here's a simple question for you f**kers...Is there anything any more bada$$ right now than SEAL Team 6?  F**k no!  They take that old phrase "smoke 'em if you got 'em" to a whole new level.

Thats enough news for you today...

You've been edJACKated!

Sup and HAPPY Friday,

Casino tonight ladies and gents.  Should I lay my first bet at the roulette table on black or red?  Can't wait.  I love the casino, especially when I don't drive meaning I can have a few.

So I'm playing ball last night and I'm stuck guarding a 6'9 guy built like a brick sh*thouse.  I was told he played college ball so I was a little nervous.  Well this guy must have played at Southwestern North Dakota A&M Tech because he was terrible.  Brian Scalabrine was laughing at his jumper.  Made me wish I would of taken the few offers I had to play D-III.  Then again, they were all pretty strict schools so I probably would have been kicked out for my partying ways.

So Eli is a bigger pimp than Brady, eh?  That's the case according to Ashley Madison.  What say you, ladies?

Morning.

I have a planning day with the other 2 second grade teachers I work with----which means my kids will have a sub. We'll be scoring the heck out of some writing assessments our district made us give, as well as grading the weekly assessments for today. I pray to the big Teach above that my kids make me smile. We worked hard this week.

Quick got selected in the third round by TEam Alfredsson(sp?) in the NHL AllStar Draft. I know hottie pants Lundqvist made this pick. Smart man.  Speaking of the hot Swede......WOW. That's all. He's Wow.

Have a good one. Drink something that makes your belly smile.

No. Eli is a mouth breather...................which means he's got horrid breath and crusties around his mouth. However, it's a proven fact that M.B's are extremely flexible. Doesn't matter. The first statement about M.B's is gross.

Eighth ELEVENTH post (though it doesn't count except for the first one....and Gale Sayers..."I Am Third)....

Morning Q'ers....

Allergies beating the heck out of me.  Usually, I only get them when the ragweed hits in August and September, but the weather here is crazy this year.  I think I've had a little cold, because my son has one, and my wife woke up this morning blaming our son for giving her the cold...at least that's ONE thing I'm not getting blamed for!

PRO BOWL!!!!! Seriously, does anyone really watch it?  I happened to be in a restaurant one year when the game was on, and saw Sean Taylor (R.I.P.) PUMMEL the punter on a punt return.  Other than that, they don't really hit too much.

With the weather being so warm here this year, maybe they could switch Super Bowl locations for the next year-I have a feeling that we'll get a northeast blizzard the first weekend in February next year, like the one we had in '78.

Have a GREAT weekend, and remember, a PQ DOES get tallied in your respects (I'm a PQ receiving" veteran.

I am a man, man, man, man
Up, up in the air
And I run around, round, round, round this down town and act like I don't care.
So when you see me flying by the planet's moon,
You don't need to explain if everything's changed
Just know I'm just like you.

Huh.
Ha, [x4]

So I pull the switch, the switch, the switch inside my head.
And I see black, black, green, and brown, brown, brown and blue, yellow, violets, red.
And suddenly a light appears inside my brain
And I think of my ways, I think of my days and know that I have changed.

It's the colors you have
No need to be sad.
It really ain't that bad.

It's the colors you have

So mistress, mistress have you been up to the roof?

I know.  Ben Handlogten and Eric Montross come to mind.   He looked the part and played college ball.  Figured he'd be decent at the very least.  Being only 6'4, it's no fun guarding guys that tall/big.  His perimeter defense was horrid, though.  Once I figured that out, I started popping jumpers from the outside (or drew him outside and threw dimes to guys cutting).  He became fatigued rather quickly and it was game over after that.

I already told you they kicked me out because they were afraid I would take over.

Get another chance at the ladies tonight.  Raleigh beware.  No New Yorkers Need Apply.

Volleyball tomorrow in Fayettenam.  Another long day.

All Star Draft was awesome last night.  I think they knocked some kinks out after debuting here in Raleigh last year.  I'd like to pick team Alf but Chara has Thomas.  I think it will be a great game.

Somewhat insensitive, but how was there a craigslist killer?  I've never met a real person on there.  All a bunch of spambots.

Nothing else I think.  If anyone wants to distract me, I'm more than willing to be....

Y'all can't ball, Y'all can't ball

Yo, yo
Pass the ball, final casting call
First of all, verbal basketball
Off the glass, smash your jaw
Too fast for y'all
You might take a nasty fall
Trying to stick with the prehistoric passenger
(Foul Ball)
All breath, no physical contact
Bounce back, demonstrate invincible bomb raps
Not no hustler no player or speakin no crime crap
I'm vocally trying to score before my time lapse

Uh! Full court press, hands in your chest
Runnin' cause I'm a rebel with the ghetto
No fouls just checks, make a brother sweat
Word for y'all to earn my reject
Get it out of here, attack from the rear
Ya'll ni**as aint nothin but some bi**h ass q***rs
I'll be in your ear, increase the fear
Rippin with the shears as the crowd just cheers

Bring on the opposition
Cause my position is to shut you down
As the basketball pounds on the concrete floor
Envisioning moves to freak brothers every which way
Dominating like Doc J.
Pass me the rock, I know just what to do with it
It's real vivid, I pivot, through the lane
Three hundred and sixty behind my back
I take your monkey a*s to the rack like Jerry Stack

What I'm trying to say, in a nutshell, is that I would bust that a8s on the court, Alain.

Ok my basketball fan friends.. So the Magic blew a 27 point lead last night and ended up losing by 8.. And they scored 8 total points in the 4th quarter.
I have a two part question.
What is the equivalent of that in comparison to other sports? Is that like blowing a 10 run lead in baseball? A 6 goal lead in hockey? (I'm sorry, I haven't watched a full NBA game in about 8 years.. I always end up at the bar at Pepsi Center when people give me Nuggets tickets)
2nd.. How the hell can a team only score 8 points in a quarter? As far as I knew, there are at least 46 fouls called per quarter.. They still have the 3 point line right?

I need answers people

Grouplove - Colours

It's the colors you have
No need to be sad.
You've still got your health.

So mistress, mistress have you been up to the roof?
He shot himself, self
There's blood on the wall
'cause he couldn't face the truth.

Oh, knock that down, leave the ground and find some space
And tell your friends, friends,
You'll be back again, gain
Before it's too late.

It's the colors you have
No need to be sad.
It really ain't that bad.

Oooooooooh, it's the colors you have
No need to be sad.
It really ain't that bad

It's the colors you have
No need to be sad.
You've still got your health.

So I am a man, man, man, man
Up, up in the air
And I float around, 'round, 'round this downtown
And know I shouldn't care.
So when you see us there out in the open road
You don't need to explain
If everything's changed
Just know that you don't know.

We call it life
Oh yeah, that's what we call it.
We can't call it at all.
We call it life
Oh yeah, that's what we call it.
When you can't call it at all.
Yeah, we call it
Oh yeah that's what we call it.
(oooooooooohhhhh)
We do it for love, sweet love.
Heads up with Shame, lots a nudity and not always the fun kind. Actually from that list I suggest just watching the pro-bowl or maybe pintrest (Jess, spelling?) This has to be the worst Oscar year in a long while right? How was Drive not one of the 10 best films of the year? Or Brooks? Is it a great film? Idk but it's the only one people will remember (or watch on cable) 10+ years from now from the nom list. The BCS is a better system. At least betting on that makes some sense. And I hate the fact that The Artist got a nod. That's like 100 years from now, somebody makes a regular film, BUT IT'S IN OL'-TIMEY 3D. Genius! - not. Having ranted all that I'm totally taking it in our Oscar pool. Ha!

I need answers people
That is the equivalent of

ok, maybe not THAT bad!

How about the YANKEE's blowing a 3-0 game lead and losing the series to BOSTON in the 2004 playoffs?

The 1980 LA KINGS down 5-0 to Gretzky and the OILERS and end up winning 6-5?

The 2003 COLTS were down 35-14 to TAMPA with 3 and half minutes left in the 4th QTR and PEYTON MANNING and the COLTS scored 21 pts in those last 3 1/2 minutes to send it into OT and then won it in OT on a Vandejagt FG!

I watch it. I love All Star games of any sort - just watching some of the most awesome, competitive players of the sport get out there for the game itself, just to have fun like a bunch of kids again. I think it's important to remember that it is a game and it's supposed to be fun too.

Speaking of which...All Star Fantasy Draft = so much fun. Best thing to happen to the NHL All Star game since the Skills Comp. (Btw, I think the Pro Bowl would benefit both from a fantasy draft AND by reinstating their skills competition, but that's just me).

i finally saw life in a day without falling asleep in the first 2 minutes (took four tries). it's almost painfully artsy, but soooo worth seeing. i got sniper shot quite a few times with emotion. it's amazing how a movie with no more plot than a 24-hour plentary rotation, and no connecting dialogue can creep up on you in 9 seconds and make such an impact on you. i like the guy who rides a bike. and the goats of the people who make cheese. there's a part i wish i hadn't seen involving a "painless" animal slaughter that flips right to a man eating spaghetti. i never really liked spaghetti anyway. it's beautifully done and the wrap up is unexpectedly perfect.

i developed a call of duty callus last night. last time i played for more than a few minutes, it was black ops and my guy had marathon pro, so i didn't have to hammer down on the gas just to make him trot a few feet. apart from the story, i may be over this game.

oh! on leela, i have completed my practices on origin, life, power and love chakras. i also began the meditation portion of the game and that is a cool mother. i actually had a really neat time with the 7-minute drill. i went into it thinking "this is a load of horses**t," and followed the breathing instructions. before i knew it, i was feeling the tide of breath into my low belly and rise through the top of my crown to the sky. my mind started wandering but never focused on anything. it just glanced past things that seem important to me and moved on to others. this game...i swear.

Whatup? (finally)
Today has been a "pack mule" Friday so far but I'm gonna push through cause tonight is "Sparticus Margarita" night (Stoney, I was torn between Shame & Young Adult). No drink dedicated to the show just gonna pull the blender up to the TV and "Pat Sajak" while I  watch.
For those of you who haven't heard, the "Wheel of Fortune" host admitted in an article that he and good ol' Vanna used to guzzle Margaritas in between tapings of the show. But if you think about it, why not? What does Pat Sajak have to do to get ready for Wheel anyway? And if I was Vanna after a couple stiff ones (drinks, dammit) I would be a "letter flipping  - - - - - -   - - - - - - !!" just saying.
But anyway,  STARZ hired a new guy to play the lead after Andy Whitfeild passed away last lear. I hope he lives up to it. If not, there's still gonna be plenty of blood & boobies action & drama to keep me occupied.

So the combination or working all day, studying most of the night, and not being able to fall asleep til midnight bit me today, and I was unable to get myself awake this morning. Thus, hello sick leave. Of course, that just means I have all day to complete Chapter 6 in my CPA review. After watching the replay of this Djokovic-Murray match and getting a work out in, it's time for Accounting for Income Taxes! Huzzah! /bangs head on desk

In a related story...

Dear AICPA:

Why is there so much material on accounting for pensions covered for the CPA Exam? Nobody in the private sector gets a defined benefit plan anymore, and the public employees who do are seeing attacks all over trying to reduce or get rid of them. It's become a rapidly anachronistic concept. If this is heavily tested when I take the Exam, I'm going to be pissed.

Sincerely,

Here's one for all you grandparents out there.

There was this loving grandfather who

always made a special effort to spend time with his son's family on

weekends. Every Saturday morning he would take his 7-year-old

granddaughter out for a drive in his '56 Chevy for some quality time

-- just him and his granddaughter.

One particular Saturday, however, he had a bad cold and really didn't

feel like being up at all. He knew his  granddaughter always looked

forward to their drives and would be disappointed. Luckily, his wife

came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter for

 the drive.

When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her

grandfather who was still in bed. "Well, did you enjoy your ride with

grandma?" he asked. "Oh, yes, Grandpa, it was really wonderful. We

 didn't see one single a**h*le, piece of crap, horse's a**, blind b*st**d,

dipsh**, Muslim goat humper or son of a b**ch anywhere we went!"

Brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?

I watched it, since Grey's wasn't new.  Ugh.  It was funny, actually.  It's getting to that time when Romney and Newt are going all bitchy, competing sorority sister on each other.  And Santorum is funny to watch because I honestly think that HE still thinks he has a shot at this.  And Ron Paul, for a terribly racist/homophobic little man, does make me laugh quite a bit.

Good day, bitches.

Stoney - You should see "The Grey".  Not at all your kind of movie, but I wanna know what it's about and if it's any good before I waste my money.  So go waste yours for me, k?  Thanks.    Oh, and PS - I'M insatiable?  Riiiiiiiight.

Sis - He's just been lazy.  Don't listen to him, you need to come to me for the real info, let's be for real.

Other Sis - Ha.

Back to Sis - I don't know about Lainey's hoop stories.  Sound a little like, "I once caught a fish THIS big...".

10 years ago, I'd have this on lock.  But now, I hang out with a bunch of homos.  Although that might warrant a match-up with a video camera for entirely different reasons.  Hehe, f**s can't do sports.

ok, maybe not THAT bad!

Watch for finger...

Last night I went to write my weekly blog, but when I went to publish it, the thing wouldn't go and when I clicked save, it went to a blank page.  My entire friggin' article was gone!  So this evening, I had to do it all over again, and I damn near duplicated the first version to a T.  It's usually up at 7 am every Friday morning, but after the technical difficulties, here's your weekly dose of baseball.  I'm burned out and need a drink, or six.

Last night, I had a dream that Anthony Bourdain and I took over Brooklyn.  I was chain smoking Marlboro reds while swinging on an abandoned playground and he was spinning himself around on the merry-go-round.  I really should lay off the Smithwick's on a weeknight.

And just b/c I'm feeling my non-existent Irish heritage (I've been told errbody's got a little Irish in 'em)....Lads 'n 'lasses....May I present to you  FLOGGING MOLLY

Kiss My Irish Ass lyrics

Oh the churchbells are ringin' in the school yard,
and we all went out those days.
The bully said "Mick would you fancy a rumble?"
I said "Yes! Its time to play!"

Oh the nuns and the priests they grabbed their rosaries
as they pulled our bodies apart.
The bully said "Mick you lost the fight but you've gained my respect, you fight with so much heart!"

We're as stubborn as mules with our blood on fire
when we ain't at sunday mass,
we'll look ant man straight in his eyes and say
Kiss my Irish ass! You'd better kiss my Irish ass!

Oh the husbands and wives, they had a neighborhood pack
They called the Mackeys white trash behind our backs (White Trash!)
I was way too young to understand that
But if I did, I'd given it right back

Oh me dad, he'd be drunk on the lawn,
Yelling and screaming like he do
But sometimes my old man felt what he was feeling,
Sometimes Mr. Mackey spoke the truth

We're as stubborn as mules
With our blood on fire
When we ain't at Sunday mass
We'll look any man straight in his eyes and say
Kiss my Irish ass!
You better kiss my Irish ass!
[From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/f/flogging-molly-lyrics/kiss-my-irish-ass-lyrics.html]

Oh me grandpa passed through Ellis Island,
From the greatest of the Motherlands
For he worked, provided for his family
He was a dedicated welding man.

And he knew right from wrong like day and night,
He could whip any fool in a bareknuckle fight
He talked of country like he preached of God,
One hell of an Irish man!

We're as stubborn as mules
With our blood on fire
When we ain't at Sunday mass.
We'll look any man straight in his eyes and say
Kiss my Irish ass!
You better kiss my Irish ass!

Oooohh, I'm of a distant relation to John Redman,
He was one of the greatest Irish Rebels of his day.
One bastard to another (Bastard!), on down the line
And this is what my son will say:

We're as stubborn as mules
With our blood on fire
When we ain't at Sunday mass
We'll look any man straight in his eyes and say
Kiss my Irish ass!

We're as stubborn as mules
With our blood on fire
When we ain't at Sunday mass
We'll look any man straight in his eyes and say
Kiss my Irish ass!
You better kiss my Irish ass!

Not entirely true.  Out of the three known gays in the NBA the last decade (including former players), I'm pretty sure all three could take Alain.  All three are at least twice as tall, though, so it wouldn't be fair.
