 Morning.

NHL All Star weekend was pretty great. I enjoyed it. All but one of the goalies playing allowed 3 goals. He allowed 6 and plays for the Blues.

This is for Ashlie. This is hottie pants Lundqvist.

I only have some factoids to share with you all. You're welcome.

Hiiiiii Ash!!

I went to H&R Block yesterday to do my taxes. My taxes are very easy to do since I dont own anything and I am single. I went in expecting the usual 2-300 dollar return, but came out with an 900 dollar refund. Now i'm torn, I dont know if I should pay off a credit card, buy a new gun or get the fishing kayak Ive always wanted.  The responsible person in me says pay off the card, the bad ass in me says buy the gun, and the outdoorsman in me says buy the Kayak.

I have a couple weeks to decide. I'm sure I will make the right decision.

Hi honey.

If you were expecting 300 and they got you 900. Assuming not much has changed from last year, you need to let them review last year's too. Did they not do them last year? Oh, I usually buy me something and pay something. Both make me happy.

Good Morning My Homies....In the immortal words of Smokey from "Friday":
...Break yo'self, Fool!!

9 Days till Take-Off...

NFL Pro Bowl = Waste Of F****** Time Unless You Plan A Vacation In  Hawaii At The Same Time, Meaning  YOU Have Too Much Money To Waste!!

Now, it really doesn't bother me any...but why does Belichek try to mask his injuries for the Super Bowl?  This deadpan act is a bit old, and to tell you the truth, I think Gronk would play with a spear piercing his chest if he has to...Its the SUPER BOWL!!

Today I ref my last basketball games in the area.  This will be hard...I enjoyed this as much as anything I ever done in the sport of basketball, and I hope I get the chance to do it in the DC/VA/MD area as well.  The Refs, the coaches, the kids and thier parents here are so committed to the game...I had a great time with everyone...I know, none of you were there, but if you were...

Okay...gotta make Monday good, so I'm outta here like Buzz Lightyear.

Today's Tip - Just because you see someone else doing something stupid, it does not mean I will not JAP-SLAP you into last Columbus Day seeing you do it.   That is what friends are for!!!

Peaces!!
Are we there yet?...

 Damn you, Johnny!

Where' Clownie????   I have a THONG OF THE DAY picture for him

The funny thing about the Q are those people who send us private messages or come on here and post some ballsy stuff!

For example, I received this IM over the weekend from some girl from West Africa and went something like this;
"Hello Dear,

Please I will like you to consider to accept this my proposal despite that it will be suprise to you since we have not known or written before. My name is D**** S**** i am from Sierra Leone in west Africa.I am a girl of 23 years old , I wish to request for your urgent assistance in my investment plans in your base."

And it went on for another 4 paragraphs!  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?  (LMAO)
First of all, I don't mind if you want to IM me telling me that you like my profile and want to get to know me and to contact you at your YAHOO email (WHICH AIN'T HAPPENING ANYWAYS), but to send me an IM asking me to invest money???  Are your NUCKIN FUTS??  There is no way in hell I am investing money with someone I don't know or in some cock-a-mamee scheme!

HEY JESS!!  I know that you are happily married and have a family and all, but, I would like to call you and talk to you and get to know you better  (lmao)  -  For those of you that don't get this, there are DUDES that come onto here and PUBLICLY offer themselves to JESS  (LOL) -

I'm not sure if that is more along the lines of this

or

or both???  I don't care, it makes me laugh soo hard that I almost wet myself!    AWESOME!!!!

HAVE A KICK-A$$ DAY, EVERYONE!

And in honor of this theme, I present you with

AC/DC - BIG BALLS
I'm Ever Upper Class High Society
God's Gift To Ballroom Notoriety
I Always Fill My Ballroom
The Event Is Never Small
The Social Pages Say I've Got
The Biggest Balls Of All

CHORUS:
I've Got Big Balls
I've Got Big Balls
And They're Such Big Balls
Dirty Big Balls
And He's Got Big Balls
And She's Got Big Balls
But We've Got The Biggest Balls Of Them All

And My Balls Are Always Bouncing
My Ballroom Always Full
And Everybody C*ms And C*ms Again
If Your Name Is On The Guest List
No One Can Take You Higher
Everybody Says I've Got
Great Balls Of Fire

CHORUS

Some Balls Are Held For Charity
And Some For Fancy Dress
But When They're Held For Pleasure
They're The Balls That I Like Best
My Balls Are Always Bouncing
To The Left And To The Right
It's My Belief That My Big Balls
Should Be Held Every Night

CHORUS

And I'm Just Itching To Tell You About Them
Oh We Had Such Wonderful Fun
Seafood Cocktail, Crabs, Crayfish...

 The Original Fantasy Sport.

My daughter's volleyball team stunk it up on Saturday.  I mean really.  They only made it to 20 points in 1 game.  They were missing a person that kind of threw out the rotation, but outside of that...I really can't explain how bad it was.  I had to get up and leave during the first match before I got thrown out.

All-Star skills was great.  All-Star game was...All-Star Game.  Tim Thomas gets another All-Star win.  Like 4 straight.  Yowza's.

Driving to Greensboro tonight for Lacrosse stuff.

Jokes of the morning:  Both real bad and real good all at the same time:

What is brown and rhymes with Snoop?  Dr.  Dre

How much should a mother in law weigh?  2.5 pounds, that includes the Urn.

Stalk somebody new today.

Between this: Brees drop kick for an extra point.

This: Marshawn Lynch flop.

And the fact there was over 1,100 yards of total offense, eight turnovers, and 52 first downs. I'm so proud of myself for not watching one second of this game. Why do they even select defensive player for the Pro Bowl? Just let the offenses score till the last second, not much difference then what they have now.

LBJ dunk over John Lucas was sick. I won't mention the two Q'ers who ran LeBron in the ground last year *cough JD *cough Nick. A picture is worth 1,000 words.

Choking on free throws is starting become D. Rose thing, isn't it?

Say what you want, but LBJ is still a "Richard Cranium" and not "THE KEVIN" on here either!

And, I can dunk over John Lucas Jr!   That kid is 5'9  That was nothing!  LBJ did have an amazing game though!

Rose definitely choked, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER, with those free throws in the 4th.  Kind of reminded me of how LeBron normally plays in the 4th Quarter of games!

And what was with that BS blown whistle with 16 seconds left?  Wade grabbed the rebound and landed out of bounds. The refs inadvertanely blew the whistle???? WTF?  And then they did a jump ball at center court to resolve the referee stupidity instead of the Bulls having the ball back, down 1 with 16 seconds left ???   Smells like some home cookin, if you ask me!

Morning, Everybodee!

Johnny, if you get that gun, may I borrow it?  It might come in handy if the parents and residents down here in our school district need to lynch a few board members.  Apparently, at tonight's meeting, they will be discussing whether the district will pony up funds for the legal defense in the recent scandals.  (The scandals being them being accused of accepting bribes from contractors for the school construction projects.)

Can't even believe they are going to discuss and vote on this.  The district has been cutting programs and services because we can't afford it, and they want to use $1.3 million for their legal fees.   Well, we'll see how this goes tonight.

Last Friday, our choir performed in a concert, along with choirs from 4 other schools.  (Ladies only)     It made for an enjoyable evening.

Good monday morning everybody.
I agree with Becky, the NHL All Star festivities were a good time The game, as always was a little sloppy, but at least the good guys won and there were some pretty sick plays.. Skills competition was fantastic, and I still can't believe Zdeno Chara hit 108.8 on the hardest shot.  That's rig*ddamndiculous
Speaking of All Star games, I guess I missed the Pro Bowl yesterday.  What time was it on? Huh

I really thought Tiger Woods was going to not only win but pull away with his 54 hole lead in Abu Dhabi.. He may not be fully back yet, but I think he's close, and he will win a major this year.

For those people who make those s**t movies with A-list casts (Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve), watch what they did with a movie called Margin Call.. You didn't hear of it last year? That's because it's based on dialogue and a story, rather than fighting robots or vampires.  Fantastic.  Kevin Spacey keeps getting better and better
50/50 is what I thought it would be.  Very good, Joseph Gordon -Levitt was fantastic and probably could have earned an awards nod.  And I have to admit, I'm a big fan of Anna Kendrick.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes was actually rather enjoyable as well

Be on the Look out for Beasts of the Southern Wild, winner of the Grand Jury Prize for US Dramatic film at Sundance, later this year

And on a finishing note, after reading that the Carolina Panthers had redesigned their logo (read, added some shading to their current logo) all I could think of was the panther swipe, and I can't stop chuckling.  That always makes me laugh. Urban Dictionary it

Ummm no! 2011, D. Rose, missed a crucial free throw to tie the game against the Los Angeles Clippers on December 18. The second time occurred during game six against the Boston Celtics in the best playoff series of the past decade. He missed the last free throw to seal the deal. Rose was lucky because the Bulls escaped with the victory, but he did choke he did not lock up the win with the free throw.  Then last night was the third. I did all of those off the top of my head. I'm sure with more research I can come up with more.

I'm pretty sure this year LBJ has came through in every quarter. Let me check......yep!

And blown ref calls happens all the time in every sport. It's the human factor, every team gets it eventually.

Part 2 -

I went down to Wrigley on Saturday to see which seats were available for my Season Tickets.  For those that missed an older post, I put myself on the Cubs Season Ticket waiting list 7 years ago and received word, about 4 weeks ago, that my time has come.

I got down there at 8:30am, walked around to see which seats were available (they had tags on the seats) and found 2 in Section 239, Row 6, which was even with the visitors bullpen down the right field line. Section 239 is called terrace reserve, so, they weren't 6th row from the field, but, 6th row from the walk-way...They were actually 26 rows from the field....No obstruction, great seats! So, while waiting in line to pay the down payment, I finally get to my person to take care of me and he informs me that I grabbed 2 seats that were part of a 3 seat package.  WTF?!?!?  No one told us we couldn't do that. So, I had to go back outside and find new seats!  This was 30 minutes later.  I was pissed because there were a lot of people looking for seats along with me.

So, I found 2 new seats, Section 240, Row 19 (so, 39 rows from the field).....not as good as the ones I had, but they are still unobstructed seats, down the right field line, even with warning track in Right Center Field.  I'm still happy!

Here are some pics I took.  They are doing some renovations, so, as you will see, there is scaffolding up in my area.

Did you see LeBron tank those 2 free throws right after D-Rose missed his? Yeah the whole last couple of minutes of that game were tragic for both teams. No one could hold on to a rebound and no one could hit free-throws.

Choking on free throws is starting become D. Rose thing, isn't it?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Bron Bron miss two FTs a few seconds after Rose?  If it becomes the norm with Rose, I'll be worried.  We were missing Deng and CJ (Rose's backup), so I'm alright with the loss.  Rose was clearly out of gas and it's evident John Lucas III doesn't belong on an NBA roster....unless you're talking about the NBDL.  I'm not one to blame the refs, but there were a bunch of questionable calls that went the Heatle's way.  My favorite was the Bron flop when Brewer BARELY touched him.  Come on, Lebron!  Should of won on Oscar for that flop.  Even Manu Ginobili was impressed.  It was almost as good as the clean block Taj had late in the game that was of course called.  But again, proud of my boys.  Had a chance to win on the road despite missing our second best player and Rose's backup.

How about my boy Kaner?  While I think Corey Perry busting out the mini stick was probably better, Kane's Superman fly/dive was great as well.

Don't want to talk about the casino.  Let's just say it wasn't my night.  At least I won a little of my money back on the Bulls as they covered yesterday.

So the old lady wanted to watch Cocktails last night because she'd never seen it.  I used to love that movie, but after watching it again, I've come to one conclusion.  Tom Cruise movies are overrated.

He did at that. But maybe he was tired to (since we are going that route), 35 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assist, 41 minutes (all better than Rose except Rose had one more assist and took him 4 minutes longer to do it) and two dunks. Yeah I'd be tired too.

Post #18 shows the start of choking at the line to be something to worry about with Rose. With his form and accuracy he should never miss one. Hell there free, no defense.

He looks like a movie star. Looks like he could've been in something with Hugh Jackman (or what Tim Roth would look like with more weight, better hair, and an overall regal-er appearance). I need to see Quick's face.... let me look... okay. He looks like a baby. I am digging Shea Weber as I told you already, Perry is okay...and let me look at Kane again....(so proud of me for remembering these names and partial faces)hmm is Kane legal? That's a no-go.

I don't want to get into a Rose/Lebron debate (because I've stated numerous times that Lebron is the best player in the league imo), but if the best "choke" jobs you can find are from yesterday and two games the Bulls won, I'd say he's doing pretty well.  Not only that, wake me up when Rose starts acting half as pompous as Bron Bron.

I'd wager my life savings that Rose will never act like this big of a dbag in his entire career.

When did you jump on the Heatles bandwagon, Joe?  You came up with three examples (and tried to pawn it off as four) and the Bulls won two of those games.  LOL.  The Bulls were missing their second best player and their backup PG.  Pretty safe to say Rose exerted more energy than Lebron yesterday.

I didn't jump on any bandwagon JD, I've always been a LBJ fan, ask anyone! I was merely having fun with it like you did last year when the Bulls defeated the Heat.

Yes the Bulls did win two, not thanks to D. Rose sealing the game with his free throws.

I too have stated may times I think D. Rose is fantastic.

Yes only three, sorry for the typo.

It's all good.  I deserve a little taste of my own medicine after last year.  This rivalry is going to be fantastic for the next 7-10 years.  And now Dwight Howard says he'd welcome a trade to the Bulls?  WATCH OUT!

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

Holy mother of Tebow, somebody needs to call the Cowboys scouting department on this one.  In Des Moines, a bouncing baby boy was born (and it wasa f**king natural child birth too) weighing in at a whopping 13 pounds, 13 ounces.  That little f**ker is already bigger than half of the high schoolers I coached last year.  The proud parents tagged the tot with the moniker "Asher".  I think it was remotely like his momma's first words after he was born..."My a$$ hurts!"

Well, here's some good news.  The end of the world may not be as near as we had feared (f**k you, Mayans).  German beer consumption rose last year, after steadily declining each year since 2006.  That was a close one, I tell ya.  When Germans quit drinking beer, you know things are getting totally out of f**king control.  The next thing you know, the French will actually win a war.

Brazilian bikini makers are "expanding" their lines to make bikinis for big wimmin.  I aint got nothing against women that actually have curves and $h*t, but Cactus Jack's got a piece of fashion advice for ya...If your a$$ looks like an exploded can of biscuits in it, don't wear it.

Thats enough news today, F'ers.

You've been edJACKated!

Apparently Tebow stayed at the same hotel (Hard Rock) where the world’s largest porn convention was taking place. He checked out without his spotless image sullied by shots of him passing the adult stars in the lobby. Rob Gronkowski does not approve.

Hola amigos y amigas!

So the weekend was good. Friday night was one of my best friends birthday, so we went to our favorite bar, and proceeded to get him drunk! And ourselves too.

Saturday I went out with some guy, and I am just gonna say that I am beginning to doubt that normal people exist anymore. It was the most horrible night, and yet kind of hilarious. So I am not gonna date for a while. I am like a magnet for idiots and weirdos. Since I was pretty much drunk all weekend I had to try and recover yesterday...I probably could have slept for 12 hours but I got a good 7 hours.

I don't mind watching the Pro Bowl. I mean its just for fun and everyone seems to be having a good time. Anyways, I hope everyone has a wonderfully amazing day

Yes!! the best part of the weekend was a tie of him stopping couturier in the skills competition facing the wrong way and him talking about team roping and getting so excited about it (A buddy of mine goes around and does that) as Alfredsson dangles into the zone and sneaks one in under Price's arm.

Best part was he got a piece of it, lmao!!!

(Also my "sources close to the story" said he and the Bruins Seguin were absolute "Bar Stars" after the draft took place. Having it take place in a Casino where the drinking age is 18 and the bars "closing times" are kinda like suggestions was probably the highlight of most fans weekend. And who knew so many hockey players were fans of Drake? Wasn't there like 25 of them out there during the second int.? My fave was Hartnell getting pics and vids from his tablet, LOL!!)

Technically speaking, the Bears and Ruskell mutually parted ways  The Emery hire isn't official for a few more hours.  That said, your point remains.  Ruskell is Jerry Angelo 2.0 and I was terrified at the prospect of him succeeding JA.  Don't wish ill will towards Timmy, but I want new blood to criticize when things inevitably go wrong.  The majority of Bears fans aren't happy about this hire.  Should be a fun off-season.

 That makes two of us!

So far, this new GM has started off on the correct foot!

Now, sign Briggs and Forte, bring in a big name WR and draft some OLINE and DBACKS!

Ah, gotcha.

Technically speaking, Tim Ruskell and the Seahawks mutually parted ways too but...we all know what happened.

I don't wish ill will toward Ruskell either - I just don't want him anywhere near Seattle.  He'll ruin a franchise with a quickness when he's put in charge.

Good day, bitches.

Stoney - I just realized that Anna Kendrick was in one of my all-time favorite movies (which means you'll hate it), "Camp".  If it's on Netflix, that's a movie night suggestion.  And by suggestion, I mean ... yes we are.

Nick - I got the same spam message.  Sorry to dash your hopes.

I don't really have anything else that I want to talk about.  I'm sick and feel like hell.  Therefore, I'm not in top form, so I won't be attempting to make this post interesting in any way.

If you are talking about the other Emery being Ray, Phil has some big shoes to fill unless Ray tanks, because he's been the best backup goalie we had since Niemi!

According to IMDB, your girl Anna is bizarro Sam Jackson. Apparently she has a role in just about every film coming out in '12. I'm down with that. She was great in up in the air and that debating moving. #TeamKendrick

Maybe I listen to too much Boers & Bernstein, but I'm not all that happy with either goalie this season.  The defense either for that matter.  You're right, though.  Razor is the best backup we've had since Niemi.

You know as well as I do that both can become enemy of the state with one bad game or trade/draft.

I don't have any problems with our goalies.  They have both been pretty consistent all year......the defense, on the other hand and our special teams have SUCKED!   Q better get that D to tighten up or else the playoffs will be short lived.

And, I'm HATING that Brendan Morrison trade!    Connelly was our top minor league prospect, on the blue line and he has a ton of offensive skill with his game.  So, now we have another 36 yr old, injury plagued guy on the team (sigh)

Dear Mr Daly,
I see you're having a bit of a struggle with your tax refund.  I might suggest that you pay off the credit card before you go and spend it on fun stuff.  the question you need to ask yourself is which one would you rather be stuck with in a couple of years... a gun that you used a few times and now you want a bigger, better, shooteyer gun, a kayak that you have used many times and now needs a paint job and now has a leak so now you want a bigger better kayakier Kayak, or a credit card bill that you will have for a few more years after that after paying the minimum just to appease the creditors.

Pay the card, put the money that you normally would put toward your card in a jar and at the end of the year when you have enough to buy either the gun or the kayak... or maybe both...

then send it to me.

You're welcome.

While Connelly was having a very nice year, I'm pretty certain he wasn't even considered a top-5 prospect in our system.  Morin, Hayes, Pirri, Shaw, and Saad are all guys that were ahead of him (off the top of my head).  I'll reserve judgement on the Morrison deal until he's played a few games.  We definitely need help at center because Kaner clearly isn't the answer there.  But yeah, we need our defensive struggles to end soon.  Real soon.

Day off 3 of 4.  Doing laundry, did my nails.  Now watching "This Is It" with my son, having watched the Michael Jackson story and getting all depressed.  The man was a genius. Now my son is performing "Billy Jean" in the living room.  He knows ALL the words and ALL the dance moves.  He's f***ing amazing.  I can't believe he is my son.

On that note, I give you "Earth Song"

What about sunrise?
What about rain?
What about all the things?
That you said we were to gain

What about killing fields?
Is there a time?
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine?

Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shared before?
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying earth the weeping shores?

Aah, ooh
Aah, ooh

What have we done to the world?
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son?

What about flowering fields?
Is there a time?
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine?

Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war?
Did you ever stop to notice
This crying earth this weeping shore?

Aah, ooh
Aah, ooh
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shared before?
Did you ever stop to notice
This crying earth this weeping shore?

Well, Mr. Daly must factor in how close we are to the big zombie apocalypse.    Paying off the credit card may seem prudent now, but during the big apocalypse, all he'll be able to do with the credit card is maybe gouge out a few zombie eyes.  Whereas the new gun could help him defend his little homestead against the brain-seeking mob.  (Although, why he has to worry about that factor, I'm not sure...)

Likewise, the boat could help him keep his distance from the zombies.  (I don't watch too many of those documentaries, but I have yet to see any swimming zombies.)

Well, I had originally ruled out going to the Indy 500 this year due to the CPA Exam, but I now see a window where I could be between exams and thus make it happen. The problem is I have no time to plan the trip, and I'd be *very* uncomfortable doing it by the seat of my pants. There's also the fact I haven't been saving up the money for it, and the not having anyone to go with dilemmas.

I thought I had something else, but I don't, so screw it.

I finished training a new employee today and was supposed to let her do all the work except if a patient needed pulled over into bed.  It was one of my easiest days ever at that hospital.  I have one day to myself before getting yet another new trainee.  It's getting to be annoying and my boss needs to quit pulling me in 50 different directions with the training, doing the job regularly, being on some committee for a project and trying to work on that in our "spare time," etc.  I'm not Stretch Armstrong!  I have a funny feeling she had a hand in me NOT being interviewed for a position in the hospital because she refuses to let me leave.  She had to because a slack a$$ from my department got interviewed and I DIDN'T!  Oh well, hopefully the job offer I get, if and when I ever do get one, is actually not with UPMC because the beyotch will not be able to hold me for a month like she can if I transfer inside the hospital system.  She needs to start realizing I'm not going to be there for the rest of my life because my job is not a career, it's a starting point.  It was another typical Monday, and we all need something to jazz it up.  I have the solution for the Monday "blahs."  Go tell me what you said!

Evening.

On my way to my appointment today, I saw a dude walking down the sidewalk with probably the best air guitar performance ever. There was a moment where he dropped down to a knee and did the windmill a few times. If only I wasn't in such a hurry, I would've recorded some of it.

Got up to mid-40s today, shorts and tshirts everywhere. Somehow I get the feeling I'm getting snow in April/May, though.

Stoney, glad you liked 50/50. Got it on DVD a full week-week and a half early. I wish my therapist was Anna Kendrick - if you gave her frizzy red hair and glasses, she'd be one of my ex's in Atlanta.  Also, Margin Call was already on my Watchlist (not so much for Kevin Spacey; Zachary Quinto fan).

I'm thinking of moving and restarting school in June, and have narrowed it down to either Seattle or Denver (Janet, your #1 choice was eliminated today). Seattle looks/sounds to be wonderful.

Home in time for the second half of the T-wolves game, Rubio 7-4-4 currently.
