Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Good Morning. My kid thinks Drew Barrymore is "very pretty" (I think she said this when whatever she advertises was on..loreal?). She was all "who is that?" She may be a lesbian. Filter Error 2/01 Photo Anyway, I have way too much work to do, and I don't remember what I was gonna post here, so go forth and prosper or some sh** like that. It's Wednesday!

i watched a really well-intended artsy/hipster flick the other night. i want to say i liked it, but like most independent films, it left the watcher totally hanging. it was like, "duuuude....i am like so out of starbucks late grande with the three shots of irish creme, hold the whip. i just can't write anymore." and so the movie just stops at what should probably just be the end of a chapter. and then some hipster independent rich guy is like "i really shouldn't make any promises to produce before i get my skinny caramel macchiato in my person. meh...this looks good enough. cut, print, beautiful...hey jan, i'm going on a 'bucks run! biscotti and chai tea for you? ok....oh god, i think i'm gonna get the coffee cake today too. i shouldn't but i'm guuuuunna....oh my god, i won't fit in these skinny jeans by september if i keep getting those, but they're soooo good."

Oh....and the Kings play tonight. This can end bad. Nine days off, a bottom feeder team, NINE DAYS off! The worry I'm carrying better be for nothing. I want a win.

Have a good one. Remember to wipe your feet.

I had to work again last night and fix a whole bunch of mistakes by our offshore team.  UGH!

Then, watched the first 2 periods of the Blackhawks - Canucks game before giving in to tiredness!   Great game for the first 2 periods. The I woke up and found out that we lost in OT on a goal by one of the Sedin Sisters!   F**KERS!

Vancouver's goalie, Schneider, was AMAZING last night!  He stopped, 2-3 SURE goals.....especially the one on Morrison in which he was flat on his belly and threw his left arm up and got a piece of what was a sure goal!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVkFqzZ5ww0

So, we got 1 point out of it, but, I am not happy!   My boys, even though they are 29-15-7 - 65 pts are UNDERACHIEVING LATELY!!!!  We've lost 3 in a row and our defense is NOT GOOD!!!  We are chasing instead of staying in our lanes!  UGH!

And, with as good as DET, STL & NSH are, we are tied for 3rd place in our division but would be 1 pt behind VAN and in 1st ahead of SJ in the other divisions.

Bears CEO Ted Phillips stated that FORTE will not make it to the Free Agency market!  They want to get him signed to a long term deal, but, they have a few weeks to do so, otherwise they will place the Franchise Tag on him and Forte has stated that if they do that, no one will be able to find him come time to report to camp!  UGH!!

HAVE A KICK-A$$ DAY, EVERYONE!!

Happy NSD,

Nick pretty much covered my feelings on the Hawks game last night.  Great effort, but we came up a bit short.  Happy we got a point at least.  Now let's get some revenge in Edmonton tomorrow night.

Sparty lost an UGLY game last night to the Illini, 42-41.  Next up - the skunk bears on Sunday.  Perfect appetizer to the big game in Indy.

Eric LeGrand, the football player from Rutgers that was paralyzed a few years back from the neck down, tweeted a pcture of him sitting up under his own power.  GREAT NEWS!

Anyone remember the movie "Dragon?"  What a fantastic flick.  Watched it last night for the first time in years.  Brought me back to my childhood when we had $.99 movies.  My buddy and I saw it for something like seven days straight.  On the seventh day, my buddy broke his foot kicking a bike rack Bruce Lee style.  Haha....memories.

LOL @ Aaron Rodgers complaining about the NFC's "effort" in the Pro Bowl.  I like that he doesn't like losing, but it's the Pro Bowl, man!  People couldn't care less about that abomination of a game.

I just came across this story and felt the need to share it with all of you!!

This was AWESOME!

A 50- something year old white woman arrived at her seat on a crowded flight and immediately didn't want the seat. The seat was next to a black man. Disgusted, the woman immediately summoned the flight attendant and demanded a new seat. The woman said "I cannot sit here next to this black man." The fight attendant said "Let me see if I can find another seat." After checking, the flight attendant returned and stated "Ma'am, there are no more seats in economy, but I will check with the captain and see if there is something in first class." About 10 minutes went by and the flight attendant returned and stated "The captain has confirmed that there are no more seats in economy, but there is one in first class. It is our company policy to never move a person from economy to first class, but being that it would be some sort of scandal to force a person to sit next to an UNPLEASANT person, the captain agreed to make the switch to first class." Before the woman could say anything, the attendant gestured to the black man and said, "Therefore sir, if you would so kindly retrieve your personal items, we would like to move you to the comfort of first class as the captain doesn't want you to sit next to an unpleasant person." Passengers in the seats nearby began to applause while some gave a standing ovation.

The audacity of some people!!!!    They should of kicked that bitch off of the plane!

Sex can be dangerous, even deadly if your partner has plans to eat you. When the male orb-web spider has its first, and sometimes last, sexual encounter it has a trick up its sleeve: detachable genitalia which keep pumping even after their owner's moved on.

The orb-web spider Nephilengys malabarensis is sexually cannibalistic and the male has detachable genitals. These spiders have at most two chances to mate: They have a pair of sperm-transferring organs, actually called their "palps" but analogous to a penis, which detach from their bodies when they disengage from mating — either when the female pushes them away and possibly eats them or they successfully run away to risk death another day.

This means that after the female frightens the male away, or eats him, his genitalia remain in place and can continue sending sperm her way, even long after sex is over — in the lab it took the females about seven hours to get the palp out. This elongated sperm transfer doesn't happen if they just break off the tip of the palp.

"This mate-plugging can partially serve as a plug to prevent other males" from mating with the female, Li said. "In addition, the eunuch males [if they survive] become more aggressive and guard the female so that this can make sure the sperm left in the severed palp can be transferred to the female after breakage," probably leading to better success at becoming a father, even in the afterlife.

Afternoon Q'ers...and Happy RUSH Day...why RUSH Day?  It's 2-1-12, which looks strangely similar to the title of a RUSH Song 2112...

Hope everyone has gotten their shamrock shakes...I had mine last nite, and now I'm good for about a week...

Rangers lost to the DEBBILS last night...Biron let in a few soft goals, and got beat between the legs (wait..that didn't sound right)...5-hole in the shootout.  King Henrki absolutely KILLS the Devils, but Biron started last night...and every time the Rangers got the lead, he let the Devils cscore

Weather here is BEAUTIFUL!  It's 60 degrees for the second day in a row....normally, the high is mid to upper 30's.  I'm not complaining.

That is all....GO RANGERS!!! Only a few weeks until pitchers and catchers report for spring training.

So the best QB in the NFL has never been informed of the concept of the Pro(fessional) Don't Hit Me, I'm on Vacation Bowl? Ever?

"I'll be honest with you," Rodgers said. "I was a little bit disappointed. I felt like some of the guys on the NFC side embarrassed themselves...

"I wanted to know the plays and I wanted to play well, and I wanted to give the fans a show, and make the Green Bay fans who watched and were watching for me and my teammates, I wanted to make them proud of their Pro Bowlers. I was just surprised that some of the guys either didn't want to play or when they were in there didn't put any effort into it."

Seasons over dude, let it go.

Hello.
Somewhere between May 23, 2011 and Sept. 9, 2011, he became not a big deal. just saying...

I fully expect this to cause some type of friction and possibly an argument.

Hi.

The dine and dash/revenge brownies 'That 70's Show' episode is on now. Probably my favorite.

Still feeling sick, but I'm not going to continually whine about it like somebody here.

No meeting tonight means catch up on DVR-day. Alcatraz, Inside the Actors Studio, New Girl, and Tosh.0. Also Wolves and Gophers play tonight.

The closer it gets, the more excited I am about the Super Bowl game. Kinda feel like I'm the only one.

I don't mind the truths about her and acting like her, but she does not sound anything like her. That got annoying quick.

This made me LOL.

The many faces and emotions of Eli.

It hurts my productivity when I lay on my couch for an hour and a half for no reason. Note to self: stop doing that.

To summarize: Work is frustrating, and studying is mind-numbing. It would help if accounting didn't have at least one exception to EVERY "General Rule."

While I'm still not all that excited about the game yet (other than I get to watch it and drink beer instead of study), every piece of positive press about Indianapolis and its hosting job makes me smile. While I'd never want to live there, I can't help but love that city (I'm going to assume I don't have to explain why).

Hola.
"Proof that he was in fact a big deal."

Was being the key word. Not anymore, hasn't been for awhile.

But on the upside, Andrew Luck is getting ready to fix that Colts season problem.

That may be true in the "what have you done for me lately" national media, but trust me, in Indianapolis it's a huge deal. Peyton *is* the Colts. He was the catalyst for every success that franchise that has ever had since moving to Indy. They wouldn't have won the Super Bowl without him, they wouldn't have Lucas Oil Stadium without him, and they wouldn't be hosting the Super Bowl without him. He made this franchise relevant. Given how emotional people take sports (and everyone on this site does, so don't pretend you're different), you can't blame the people of Indy and Colts fans for having mixed emotions about it.

I'm fully aware of what Peyton has done for the city, franchise and it's fans. Anyone that doesn't know obviously knows nothing about football (in the NFL sense). Honor him, give him the key to the city, name a street after him and a section in the parking lot of Lucas Oil Stadium and offer him a coaching position or a front office job and get ready to play ball. I'm sure I too would be a little emotional (if I were a fan) to a certain extent, then the reality of the situation would sink in 6 seconds later and I would be over it. Cause, 1. it's for the best, health and team wise. 2. Andrew Luck or RGIII are soon on their way. 3. My team is saving 28 million in salary cap next season.

Not sure how that was judgmental, just the reality of it.

Slammed with work.  Miss y'all.

Hi.
Hmm...being one of the greatest QBs ever to play the game with a probable release from the only team for which you've played, verging on the very real possibility of announcing your retirement - I'm pretty sure he's still a big deal. Until he does in fact either get released and signs with another team or announces his retirement etc and the saga is over, he'll continue to be a big deal.

That's just my opinion though. I might be biased.

I haven't really mentally processed my day yet, b/c it's Wednesday and I'm stuck in the hump.  What I can say for now, though is that
is a great show, mainly b/c of the great comedy....but also b/c of
.  And I am also impressed with
for their great finish to last night's game against the wild...scoring 4 goals in the 3rd period (3 goals in the final 3:30) to win 5-4.

And now another GB QB is acting like a tool.
So to answer your original question that would be a big HAIL YEAH.

I think Peyton goes to the Jets to play with his brother in NYC, has been there watching Eli perform well and knows how passionate the fans truly are for their sports teams there. And Peyton would be the last piece of the puzzle for Jets to win Super Bowl.

jets weren't ready with Favre, but he did bridge the gap until Sanchez arrived. Peyton would teach Sanchez (because I don't think Sanchez is all that stupid even if he went to the same school as the wife killer now in prison for kidnapping and robbery, OJ) how to read defenses better and play smarter.
