I just finished We Can Remember it for You Wholesale by Philip K. Dick. Great collection of short stories including stories that several big budget movies were based on. Total Recall, Minority Report, The Adjustment Bureau (movie was god-awful, but one of the best short stories I've ever read) and Impostor.

Kelly Palamino is not crazy. Yes, water does talk to him: his toilet tells him to eat fish; his Water Pik quotes Ezra Pound. But Kelly Palamino is not crazy.

Not getting to read much lately, but I did enjoy the first two books of the three part biography of Theodore Roosevelt (The Life and Times of TR and Theodore Rex).

Also, I remember at one point recommending The Bullpen Gospels to you, Jess. I'll repeat that since his second book comes out in April.

I'm reading a Werecat series by Rachel Vincent.  It's not world changing, educational, or especially thought provoking (well it is kinda) but it is really entertaining and I'm loving it.

I'm also still reading Hunger Games series with my daughter, and some Stephen King short storis, in Full Dark No Stars.  I really enjoyed "Big Driver".

The Bible, it has everything in it and just reading it once  will never do.

Just reading it once was MORE than enough. Trust me on that if you've never read it.

Vince Flyn, Tom Clnacy orJohn Grisham are all really good.

I really like Vince Flynn and John Grisham - I haven't read any of Grisham's new stuff. Wait...I did read his YA "Theodore Boone" series so far.

As for the bible - I appreciate the recommendation, but once was enough for me.
