Pick the winner at Derby Lane
Penske Flying is the 5-2 morning line favorite for Tuesday night's Grade A, 5/16-mile greyhound dog race at Derby Lane. The son of Flying Penske has 3 wins in 12 starts this season, including a four-length victory last time out in this class. Second choice Sovereign Gift has hit the board 3 times in 4 starts at this level, while third choice Lonesome Jeremy has been a threat inside and drew the rail. Josey's Fire is stepping up, Thomas the Champ has been struggling in A class and Kiowa Triumph gets in his share of trouble, while Derby's Rasnake and Ima Dragonslayer have been right there in their Grade A races.

 KIOWA DOGS are solid greyhounds........when WISCONSIN had races...they were always good runners............wink

 There were a lot of Kiowa dogs in NH when the track was open here, but I believe they varied in speed/ability. I wonder where that name comes from...

 I have a question please. In dog races are they lined up the same as Horse races where the #1 would be closest to the infield?
