Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

"I've tried to get the angel to watch MTV so I can learn the vocabulary of your music, but even with the gift of tongues, I'm having trouble learning to speak hip-hop. Why is it that one can busta rhyme or busta move anywhere but you must busta cap in someone's ass? Is "ho" always feminine, and "m**haf**ka" always masculine, while "bitch" can be either? How many peeps in a posse, how much booty before baby got back, do you have to be all that to get all up in that, and do I need to be dope and phat to be da bomb or can I just be "stupid"? I'll not be singing over any dead mothers until I understand.”

Made me l.o.l.

Bam. Ha, 10th... if this was a softball game, I'd still get to start.

Good news/ Bad news week for me.

First, my uncle had hip surgery and it is looking good. He is 3 years older then I am, and is more like a brother than an uncle. He lives alone and I've been worrying about the whole ordeal. I have been trying to spend as much time as possible helping him rehab. He is a ninja and can't sit still, not sure if that is good or bad thing.

Second, one more good thing... my daughter's wedding went well, no Jerry Springer stuff and everyone seemed happy. My g'babe busted moves all night long. She rocks it...
... I love that youngen.

Lastly, bad news. My best friend for the last 38 years was found dead in his home Monday night alone. We went to high school together, played in a band for about 15 years together, and worked here for 23 years or so together. It was a sad way to see him go. I was asked to sing at the funeral, keep your fingers crossed that I can pull it off. I know I can do it. yes

Band practices tonight, and I need it.

Hope all is well, tell someone you dig them. It feels good to do it, and who knows, they may need to hear it.

Later.

You got it tough, I've seen the toughest around
And I know, baby, just how you feel
You got to roll with the punches and get to what's real

Ah, can't you see me standin' here
I got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen
Ah, can't you see what I mean?

Ah
Might as well jump

Go ahead an' jump

Baby, how you been?

You won't know until you begin

So can't ya see me standing here

Filter before coffee?  I like it.  Thanks Ash.
Sliding in to third here I think.

Blustery day again.  The kind of day that when I went out to light a cigarette, all I could smell was my own burnt hair.
Another reason to quit.  #44

Got my new Marlins shirt.  Orange with a little M logo.  Not at all uggo.

Morning.

Still feeling attacked by the cootie monster......stupid shuttle van with cootie teachers and no ventilation. This is DAY 3 of my conference at UCLA. I hope the day flies by because yesterday was a long one.

More importantly.............the KINGS scored 5 goals!!!!! Look out #28 and #27 ranked Offenses. It was a good thing the Kings won last night because I really really really wanted to punch Coach Sutter in the mouth for playing Quick last night (Nashville is his kryptonite and Bernier is a stud against them). .....especially after Quick let in 2 "softies." I love Quick, but he wasn't on last night. I hope Bernier starts on Thursday so that Quick is ready for Detroit on Friday (why is it the kings always play Detroit on the second of a back to back) Anywhoo......a win is a win. Too bad none of the others the Kings are chasing lost in regulation but Phoenix.

The shuttle is calling my name. Have a good one. Remember to keep your cooties to yourself!

The Ex has finally taken 100% of her belongings out of the house. Helped her and her Uncle move everything even though I still feel broken from football. Load off the shoulders with that one....although now i've severely downgraded in bed comfortability.

On the flip side my power bill pre-girlfriend moving in was in the $60 range while during the "live-in" phase it was in the $200's

Count down to Illinois Evacuation is at 2 days and 4 hours and 56 minutes

or 3,176 minutes I believe

Not excited or anything for this trip though

Good morning, bitches.

I have to get ready for the dentist soon.  Ugh.

I don't have much else to talk about at the moment.  Just thought I'd say hi.  And that I like you guys.  Most of you, anyway.  Some of you I could take or leave, and some of you are awful.  Like I'd rather scratch my eyes out with shrimp forks rather than read what you have to say.  But mostly I like you all.

Good Day, all!
I won't bore you all with my continuing moving troubles, so, let's just say that I still don't have TV!!! angry

Which I guess was a good thing when it comes to the HAWKS-BLUES game last night! Even if Chicago makes the playoffs, it will be short lived.  This year is just not the year for us. Too much inconsistency! Of course, I hope I'm pleasantly surprised!

Another B-E-A -UTIFUL DAY here!  It was 68 yesterday and is supposed to be 62 today before dropping to the 40's on Thurs & Fri.

Apparently, yesterday was THE DAY OF THE DUDE.   Who knew?  It has now been added to my calendar for future reference!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to CAPTAINSEAFOOD!!

Have a kick-a$$ day, everyone!

Hola,

Today is "we're not talking about the Blackhawks" day.

Went to the Valpo-U of D game last night.  Word of advice for those of you seeking NCAA tourney advice: buy the Titans.  They possess great guards (which is key to winning in the tourney) to go with very good low post/interior play.  They have athleticism, length, and speed to burn.  Ray McCallum is a budding superstar and Jason Calliste is no slouch either.  Kalamazoo native Doug Anderson (who I had the pleasure of watching in high school on multiple occasions) can straight up jump out of the gym.  Dude is ridiculous.  He didn't have his greatest of games last night, but I have this funny feeling he'll play a key role for Detroit moving forward.  Win or lose, they are fun as hell to watch.  Glad I made the hour drive to see them live.

Got up to almost 70 degrees yesterday.  Supposed to get up to 60 today with high wind gusts.  Still, freaking crazy for us midwesterners.

What's for lunch?  I'm hungry as a mofo.....again.

Almost forgot.....lol @ Kobe getting shook the F up.  Big shot to put the game into OT, but the sorry Pistons should of NEVER been in the game.

I have an interview today for a second job as a skiptracer and vehicle recovery agent. I think i'm in over my head, but who knows, maybe my ass will be the next dog the bounty hunter...minus the deep seeded racisim.

I dont know why, but last night I watched "My 600 lb life" starring some fat chick who decided to lost the weight. After 3 bypass sugeries and SEVEN years of diet and exercise, she finally got down to around 250 lbs. The funny thing is that she never had any procedures on her legs so shes walking around with a 250 lb person torso and 600 lb persons legs, it was actually kinda disturbing looking. What was most frustrating was that her mom would always make fun of her for being fat even though she was fat as hell herself, Friggin "hippocrite".  ( Heyyyy Ohhhhhhh.)

Middle of the week & I have nothing...unless you wanna count, the Lakers blowing one in Detroit (thanks a lot JD), or Mitt winning six outta ten states yesterday to qualify as the GOP front runner, or as I like to call it, "The skinniest kid at Fat Camp", or that the Colts & #18 are breaking up. And everybody knows that "breaking up is hard to do" (KAMA-KAMA, DOWN DOOBIE DOO DOW DOWN)...but I digress.
I even have to wait one more day before I can have Chicken Parm. What am I gonna do till then? I don't know, but I think I'll start at "TOTD" till something comes up...wait, that didn't sound right.

Konichiwa B!tches,

All they're talking about on the local sports radio is 'Peyton to the Seahawks', not sure how I feel abou that.  A good/great QB is all the team needs, but Peyton could be broken.  I kind of feel like it's similar to a horrific event that's about to happen, I want to see it, so I sit there with my mouth open still deciding if I want to honk and stop the car about to hit the guy on his bike or just watch that jackass get destroyed by a big-ass SUV.

Jswol... there's another thing about Oregon, there are a bunch of pretentious a$$holes in the cities that ride their bikes everywhere and feel like they own the road because they're 'being green'.  I personally have seen about 5 accidents involving bicylces vs. cars in the past 3 years, and those f**kers just swerve in and out of traffic... it takes some getting used too.

Watched the season premeir of 'Breakout Kings' last night on my DVR.  Sarinda Swan is definately hot (for a Canadian especially), and did anyone else notice that both of the McPoyle brothers (from 'It's always Sunny...') were in this episode?  Liam is a regular, but Neal was the escapee for this episode.

Other than that, I've noticed that all my teams lose when I watch them play.  So now I'm going to start rooting for the Lakers hoping my jinx works on them as well.

Have a great day... don't take any wooden nickels!!

Gotta love the "share the road" brigade.  They aren't exclusive to Oregon, though I imagine they are greater in numbers.  It's getting warm now....meaning I look for bikers when opening my car door.  I'm currently Adam Dunn 0-14, but I'm gonna get one this year dammit!  I mean I have to encounter one with weak swerving skills, right?  I just hope that when I do hit one, I hit one decked out in Lance Armstrong gear.  All that equipment.....so little ability.  IMNSHO.

I D-O, I D-O, I D-O oh oh oh
I be though, promise to treat this game, I D O
Under the cold, not bring drama to mama’s peephole
Life’s a bitch but she ‘s the only love that I know – oh oh
So la-a-dee, after the “I Do’s” lets do Mercedes
Lets tie the knot, lets grab us a pot, lets make a baby
Looking back, I don’t know who threw this bouquet to me
But I walk down this aisle faithfully, cut that cake for me
I Jay-Z, take this unlawful lady to have and to hold
And til the task force grow
To hug her every corner til I get ash from the cold
Or until I’ve amassed a fortune, too much cash for me to fold
Fold under pressure I would never, ever, ever, ever
Your secret’s I treasure, for better or worser
You’ll always be my first love til death do us part
Pull a hearse up, my verse up

I said I do, I do, I do, I do, I do..

[Andre 3000]
Nothings more attractive than a heavy praying woman
To a him and those and them been defecating on me (ughh)
Her would sense the heaven, and him when Andre omen
Baby I’m hell, save me, don’t bail
Crazy I tell you all of this in the middle of a club
Where words tend to get thrown around lightly like like like love
And friend and rockstar and so and so’s a genius
So him vow to never utter him do unless he mean it
Her proud like her mother and ooohh momma’s sweet
So you just know that Juicy fruit ain't gon’ fall too far from tree
So if we ever woop the woop
I want all that bleep to bleep
On this nasty carpet Bixby fresh on one knee
Say I do I do I do I do I do
So we can float up outta here in this hot air balloon
Lets put a baby butterfly up in your lil’ cocoon
And maybe 2030 our baby, she’ll be nerdy make the whole club swoon

Congrats Beans, looks like it was a lovely weeding. On the other side, sorry about your friend, We all know you'll sing perfectly at the funeral.

Johnny, when you said skiptracer I read something like stripracer and I thought a lot of different things, still don't know what a skipracer does, but I hope is a decent job.

Jonathan, I clearly see that the curves they are talking about is her clavicle, oh, and yesterday's two lines of your post made me giggle, I love The Bloodhound gang, it's one of my guilty pleasures, of course I can't tell this to my students or recommend any of their songs right now, they'd be socked.

And talking bout pictures have you seen Macauly latest pictures? I think his grandfather looks better that him, poor kid, maybe he's sick.  :(

Leigh you are so cute! I can't wait to see the cake.

I'm so upset because an ugly virus got into one of my computers, I'm working on my second compu. The other one has a lot of features blocked and I don't have Internet access. I've tried to remove it, but it's still there. It actually disabled things on the antivirus. I hate you ugly virus! Doing some research on-line, people say I have to format my hard disk, I see a lot of back up in my future and not the type I'd like.

Thanks everyone for the good moments I always have here. See you later. Love you allheart

The cyclists around here are like that too. I found out that it does absolutely zero damage to my suv when I run them over. They're like minor speed bumps.

There is talk about where Peyton Manning might end up. It has been said that he might consider Houston, just so he could punish the Colts two times a year. I don't think it's going to happen, but I wouldn't be totally against it.

1 - Matt Schaub has failed to stay healthy. Being a back-up to a future HOF QB isn't like being benched for a rookie. He could heal and not have to play. Or Houston could play Schuab, and bench Manning until Schaub gets hurt. (Which he will.)

2 - Again we're talking about a guy who is going to the HOF - Have the Texans ever won games because of the QB? Manning makes any team an instant contender.

3 - It's close to New Orleans where Peyton is from.

4 - He would get 2 shots a year at beating Andrew and the Colts.

5 - His father ended his career with the Houston Oilers. Like father like son. Maybe Manning wants to end it all where his old man did. Eventually the Giants won't want Eli anymore, and with this line of thinking perhaps he could come to Houston like father did too.

With everything being said above for Houston - I see him going to the Dolphins.

Was I the only person hoping beyond hope that there was audio in that Paula Dean lawsuit story? I don't know why, but that always kills me. lol I'm not even going to link to it cuz it's all over the place, but her brother does sound like quite a charming fellow. Speaking of which let me get back to forcing the female coworkers in my office to watch some more of that n-word porno goodness and then maybe deep fry a stick of butter wrapped in bacon. Oh crap i'm out of cream cheese frosting. What the hell am i going to dip it in?

I've read MIAMI, WASHINGTON or ARIZONA as most probable places that Peyton will end up.

That HOUSTON rumor is far fetched.

I don't think that Peyton will be a difference maker for any team he goes to. I don't believe that he'll be the Peyton of 5 years ago. But even though I believe those things, I also believe that he would be a better option than anyone the Seahawks currently have.

I don't agree. I don't want Peyton playing at all, and while the Seahawks are DESPERATE for a quarterback, I think they would be stupid to sign him. The Seahawks would have to completely change their offense. Yes, they need a QB. But they need a young QB who can grow and succeed with the team. While I believe that Peyton could get them TO the playoffs, they were pretty close to getting there last year. We all know how clutch Peyton is - as much as I love him, there are a lot of QB's I'd rather have in the post season. Also, he's 36 years old. PC and JS would be throwing away a couple of seasons, IMO, if they went with Manning, even if they only signed him to one year.

Better option and tying what will probably be a lot of money is not what the Seahawks need. Jess understands that.

And "Peyton of 5 years ago" is kind of hilarious. Peyton of 2 seasons ago was better than 5 years ago.

I'll take him in KC, though. I think with Charles and Moeaki coming back, and the current defense, Peyton will add enough.

we alllll realize he wont be the same..but there are plenty of teams that need a QB..i believe he still has alot to offer some team..as long as he stays healthy..................

I am not advocating that Peyton plays anywhere. I would personally rather see him retire. I am fearful that one bad hit and Peyton may never walk again. I don't want to see, one of the greatest QB's I have ever seen play the game in a wheelchair. I don't believe that Peyton will be the same player that he once was and going to any of the majority of the teams mentioned as potential suitors, will only increase the likely hood of a serious injury. I see this whole thing going down like a lot of veteran QB's(Montana, Unitas, Namath, to name a few) careers have ended, with fans wishing that the player would have simply retired from his original team. I don''t believe that the Colts organization would be making this decision solely based on money. The Colts seem to be an organization that would try to figure out a way to make this work, if they felt that Peyton was still going to be able to get the job done.

I understand that. And actually it's just a matter of which team physicians clear him to play out of those who decide to waste that kind of money. Everyone's overlooking that little detail.

I know it sounds like I hate Peyton - that couldn't be further from the truth. I just wish he would retire rather than putting his health in jeopardy. The gridiron always poses a risk. But when you've had four neck surgeries and aren't healing like you should be, that risk is a lot greater. I would hate to see something happen to him because he's got too much pride to let go.

He's been cleared by his surgeon. No matter where he goes, he will have to pass a team physical and be cleared by the team physicians before they will commit to signing him.
