Whatup?
I have nothing positive to contribute today. I have a good bracket after the first weekend. Usually I use my bracket sheet to light my grill by Friday afternoon (I smell a trap). The Lakers lost to the Jazz. last night, at home WTF?!? And last but not least, I am not...I repeat, not hungover this morning. Which means last night  either I slept too much or I didn't drink enough. Whatever. Just go with it. It's Monday.

Damn, I had a hard time choosing my option today.  Had a great weekend and I now hate Mondays. Absolutely no hang over at all cause I didn't drink. smiley  (I'm for sure kicked out of the chicago club now).

Went to the B.A.C.A. auction Sunday where we donated a 20 dollar gift card from the restaurant. It sold for 20 dollars. indecision

So now I'm trying to fiqure out if these people are big hearted or bad with math.  All I know is next Monday I get finger printed then cleared then the bad ass biker chick goes into action. Yep I'm gonna kick ass at this. laugh

Ok q'lets you all have a great Monday, catch ya around the locker room.

Morning.

How good was TWD last night? (Possible Spoiler Alert because I can't not type about it.)

Who knew there was a Farmer's Son? Poor guy. (Speaking of which, why don't some of these people move when the zombies attack? He was young. He had time. Too slow.) Lori------is she really pissed off at Rick? She set that whole scene in motion and now she's pissed. It's a zombie invasion of the extreme. Speaking of Rick. So he didn't tell the group something. Would it have made a difference? I say no. #teamRick Black Hooded character with two slave zombies=BADASS (before listening to the Talking Dead, I thought this character may be Merle......nope......a new badass chic. By the way, I read the Wikipedia thingie on the comic. Wow. surprise)Hershell was sort of badass himself last night. Old man has a story. I don't want to wait till the fall.

The Kings are possibly f**king with me. Went into the game on Saturday tied with the Preds, then preceded to score 3 straight incredibly awesome goals. PEN-NER scored, King scored, and Clifford scored. Non-Kings fans are asking Who? Is this the team I've been waiting all season to show up? I HOPE so. They aren't even in a playoff position as of  today (3/19---I think only 1 point out of first in the division.....tied with a bunch of other teams), but I love them. This may change tomorrow.

I have 3 days of parent conferences starting today. May they all be on time and be speedy.

Have a swell day. Remember to moisturize.

Becky, I thought the explainiation of "everyone carries it" was lame, I guess they will get more into it next season.  Also, I think that Lori was mad at rick because carl shot shane, she doesnt want her son shooting zombies. So I think she was mad that carl used a gun, I think she understands that rick had to kill shane. When they started killing off the less popular characters during the zombie attacks, I was hoping that they would get T Dog, he doent bring anything to the show, maybe he will be more involved next season.

How's it hangin, Q-ians?

I am actually one of those people that like Monday's, after I've been awake for a few hours.   I do not like having to wake up to an alarm after not having to for 2 days, but, Monday's always fly for me!  Yeah, pretty BOLD, huh?!?!

BTW - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!  yes

Had SID's Baseball draft last night.  I had pick 13 out of 14 teams........I'm pretty happy with my team.....we'll just have to wait and see how it pans out!  Becky, you sure were in a fiesty mood last night!   Everything ok, chica??  Regardless, it was pretty HOT!  laugh  How bad do you want Kershaw?

Glenda - the only Cub I have is Ryan Dempster and NO, I DID NOT take BIG Z!

The Jeckyl & Hyde Blackhawks are playing pretty well lately!  They won, convincingly, on Friday in DALLAS 4-1 and then came home and won convincingly against WASH 5-2.  We'v now won 3 in a row and 7 out of the last 10 (7-2-1)......Detroit is now the team in a slump having only won 3x in their last 10.

The surprise team in the NHL this year HAS to be the STL BLUES!  No disrespect, but, no one had them picked as thee best team in the NHL going into the season!  Ken Hitchcock  (hahaha - you said Cock) should win Coach of the Year....hands down!!

The BULLS, after beating MIA, turn around and lose at home to PORTLAND  (wtf????)  and then bounce back to beat PHILLY.....all 3 games without D-ROSE (groin).

Have a kick-a$$ day, everyone!  Remember to get some sun....Sun has vitamin D which is good for you!

Qrs, I hate anyone that has never suffered from insomnia, had a puppy that howls from bad puppy dreams no matter you put them in your bed and cuddle them so they can hear/feel your heart beating. Boys that think they are fearless until the zombies start eating folks and wind up in your bed with the puppy that is howling and you haven't slept in a week, storm is on its way, i'm tired and cranky, (i know I missed some punctuation, bite me) Stay grounded PEACE

lori is rock stupid. rick is scary. andrea has climbed back up to my favorite (what a change from last season's finale!). boondock saint is always wonderful. t-dawg is tired of the honkies. herschel has been much better since he got some liquor in him...but honestly, how many shots did his shotgun hold? like a million?

i had a dream last night that a dinosaur zombie apocalypse happened. alll the dead dinosaurs came back and out of the ground. f**king terrifying. and for all you physicists (or whatever) i thought "wouldn't they have just come back as oil?" too, so just hush. in my dream, they didn't. the scenes were like a call of duty land designer created it, cause no matter how sheltered you felt, it turned out, part of you was completely exposed. and dinosaur zombies are cranky. the cool thing was, i found a group of women who smelled delightful and they'd set up some sort of amazing compound that was sunny and beautiful and on the compound there was a mill that was generated by and unending supply of round cheez-it crackers.

saint patty's day was awesome. great bands, great crowd, and i didn't fall or throw up once. swish!

speaking of swish, the lehigh ride was fun while it lasted.

2.  Nice bridge huh!   I was so hoping the group wouldnt find each other after the attack.  I think a multiple group plot line would have been way more interesting.    Rogs...T-Dog cant die yet....he had to survive to set up the racist revenge plot line for when they meet back up with Merle next season.   Why was the hooded ninja girl not being attacked by her armless zombies?  And how effective can you be as a forest ninja when you have 500 pounds of slow a$$ zombie meat chained to your back?  Stupid.    I liked how everyone had magic ammo spawning guns except Andrea...facepalm.   I also liked how the asian kid told redneck girl he loved her at the most ridiculous possible moment ever...I dont care if she looked like Kate Upton, was topless, and was offering him a bl**j**.  Those words dont get said EVER in that instance.   I did a LOL when Darryl said he knew it had to be an asian driving because  the headlights were all over the road.   And i wish Lori had died in the zombie attack...the baby could have eaten its way out of her uterus and gone on to lead the zombies to war against the remaining humans as the human/zombie hybrid baby jesus undead messiah.

Tired Monday people.....

St PADDY'S Day was a riot.  Despite sustaining a sprained ankle due to playing drunk full contact bags, 'twas a great day.  I somehow managed to drink from 7am until almost midnight.  We bar hopped until about 1ish and then went to a buddy's party where they had tons of booze/food, live Irish music (they did a bunch of Dropkick Murphy's stuff - loved it), bags, beer pong, flip cup, etc.  They even had a midget dressed up as a Leprechaun.  The highlight of the day came when some guy ran into a parked car going out for a pass.  Dude was running damn near full speed and BAM!  He must of laid there for almost an hour.  After being a baby, he rallied.

Somehow, someway....I managed to meet friends at the bar yesterday for the NCAA games.  Didn't drink but 3-4 beers (in six hours), but the fact I left my couch shocked me.  Had to see MY BOYS.....

Sparty is going back to the Sweet 16.  It's our 10th in 14 years.  Color me STOKED!

^^^^The best coach in America for my $$$.

Blackhawks are about to lock up the 6th slot if they keep this solid play up.  Fine by me.  Would much rather play Dallas in the 1st round than Nashville.

The site is blocked at work - but do yourself a favor and go watch the video of a guy slamming a fifth of vodka in under 15 seconds.  Mofo is nuts!  It's on "worldstarhiphop" and I promise you it's worth it.

Anyone know who sings the song in the extreme sports Red Bull commercial?  Me likey?

Depends on the house rules.  Usually we fill up the cups with beer and drink it no matter what.  The cups this past Saturday were filled with water, but we each had a huge green beer next to us.  Doesn't matter to me either way because if I'm playing beer pong, chances are I'm sloshed.

Peyton = two years of fan gates, maybe a playoff win, but that's it!  Make that money, Broncos!!

I just need $23.8 million...not more, not less...please, that is all I am asking for!!

(do not ask me why - if you are gonna ask for something, give a specific number - it sounds more official and dramatic)

This COULD be an intriguing Sweet 16 we are in for, but really...I'm not feeling it.

Hola amigos y amigas

Another Monday...and I have a headache and have been sneezing all morning. Any guesses why? Yes that's right, someone is drenched in perfume again today. But I think it's a different one. It smells old lady like! I just took 3 advil.

We had crappy weather all weekend. It even hailed last night. Ugh! I hope it gets nice again, I heard that this week should be in the 70's again.

Manning to the Broncos? I hope that their O Line can protect him. Neck injuries like that are nothing to mess around with. I also thought he would take the Titans offer. Good Luck Peyton!

Jess~ I was looking at some of the things you pinned yesterday. You okay? smiley

Have an amazingly wonderful day today. And I am all for this....Especially the Monday and Wednesday one...

So my bracket has been all but ruined. If Kentucky wins the championship, we then at least I predicted the champ. I started the first round with a bang, not quite the bang that Kevin had but...it is what it is.

It seems like Manning has picked Denver to finish out his career. Personally I think he went with the Broncos because they went to the playoffs, or maybe Peyton knows defense wins Super Bowls.

I don't like it. What does it mean for Tebow? The truth is, we are about to see what Tim and God meant to Denver. Remember the playoff win over Pittsburgh, and know (Broncos) that you have let one of God's miracles walk out the door.

The people aren't Tebowing today. They're sad to see Baby Jesus be replaced in Denver.

Denver - gives him a great shot at making the playoffs and an easier path to the Super Bowl in the event they make it.

SF - gives him an even greater shot at making the playoffs, but a much tougher path to the Super Bowl.

NFC >>>>>> AFC

Just my $.02

Agree with you about Campbell, btw.  Best backup in the NFL (yes, even better than Tebow imo) and could start for a number of teams.  Love the signing.  It'll fly under the radar until he's needed.  But I can rest easy knowing there will be no more Hanie sightings around here.

First it isn't the American dream to buy American Made products, it's the American dream to buy over priced foreign products who's company just happens to be in the US.  i.e. the iPhone.

Secondly Peyton Manning will be a Bronco next year, fortunately I saw this coming due to my perfectly clear chrystal ball and my overwhelming desire to see Bud Adams never get anything he wants.  He did start out right though by taking a knee and putting his hand on his chin and saying a quick prayer in a sign that he will bring those Tebow supporters in as his own fans as well.

Speaking of Zombies, I thought there was a Zombie apocalypse on the day of the Super Bowl, but it was really just abunch of dumbfounded Patriots fans still trying to figure out how Brady could lose to Eli twice....twice.

Telling Patriots fans that Tom Brady isn't the best player in the NFL and actually showing proof of it is kind of disheartening.  It's like telling your kids that there is no Santa Clause, but face it, you only told your kids that because they were about to head to college and you couldn't figure out how to get the gas money, the room key, and the money to buy all those presents so it was finally time to break the news.  Well so it is time for that now with the Patriot fans.

Finally, I just realized I am broke, I have no money.  Unlike the federal government I can't continue to spend once the account is empty, I suppose I could just charge it to a rich guy who happened to be smart with his money, but then I think that's something only the government can do as well.  I suppose I will sit in the house in Veg, and maybe....just maybe, hang around the Q, for a little while.

Either way, looks like his current teammates no longer have his back.

When the news broke that Peyton Manning is on the way to Denver and Tim Tebow is on the way out, Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady offered a very simple explanation of the reason for the Broncos’ change at quarterback.

“At the end of the day, Peyton Manning is just better than Tim Tebow,” Clady told ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

When the news broke that Manning had chosen the Broncos, Clady was succinct on Twitter, writing simply, “Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Broncos linebacker Von Miller offered a similarly pro-Peyton sentiment.

“I love Tim Tebow on and off the field — he is a great teammate,” Miller told Anderson. “But we can learn a lot more from Peyton Manning because he’s been to Super Bowls, he’s a four-time MVP.”

So there’s no doubt that in the Broncos’ locker room, this is welcome news. Tebow was the man who led them to the playoffs last year, but Manning is the man they want leading them going forward.

Konichiwa B!tches!!

Had a great St Paddy's Day... I partied like a rock star!!  Had several Irish Car Bombs and went to a buddies concert at a local watering hole where I was double fisting Guinness.  Great music, plenty of college girls to perv on... it was a good night.

My bracket is f#cked!!  I had MIZZOU and FSU in the Final 4, totally wiffed on that.  Went to the Oregon v. Iowa NIT game on Sunday and Ndomakong Suh was there with Dennis Dixon... random right?  I think Dixon invited Suh hoping that in the future he wouldn't rip his head off of his shoulders.

Flynn to the Seahawks, love the move.  The contract is great, not too long and not too high a price.  I also like Peyton to the Broncos.  I'll enjoy seeing what happens with Tebow.

Weather has been messed up here all weekend.  Rain followed by snow followed by sunny and 65... welcome to Oregon I guess.

Thats all I got, have a great Monday!!

And Matt Cassell is and will be iffy.  Tebow is to good of a fit for K.C..  now I know I don't keep up with football the way you do, but I still say Tebow is going to K.C.  They have already said that Cassel is the likely starter, but, if they get a first round draft choice that could change. *** More zombie spoilers***

I agree with everybody's take and:
1) Why if everybody is a carrier, did it take andrea's sister hours and hours to turn, but shane and prisoner kid 30 seconds?
2) Why was everybody so upset that Rick never told them? Really? So what's the difference say if it was airborne? What would they have done differently? (plus that reveal was lost to us since season one ended eons ago irl, and seemd like a throw away scene.)
3) Goes for Lori's reaction too. Every dramatic plot point is as ridiculous as is the decision making. Why are they driving around in 25 year old RV's and suburbans? There are a bazzillion fuel efficient cars all over the road, with the keys in them. Get some walkie talkies and some flares while you're at it. maybe have everybody take some bow lessons from darryl too. there are tons of outdoors stores in ATL. Should have been their first stop.
4) Are the walkers migrating or being herded by the chopper(s)? Or neither?

This is why horror movies work (90 mins in and out) as opposed to shows, where people can dissect every bad move. And you need poor decisions to make horror work. I think conflict with the coming "others" will help our collective suspension of disbelief. all in all I thought it was the best episode since the Merle ones.

I would be pretty shocked if he lands in KC. Whether Quinn stays long or not, he just signed with them. I doubt they'll be paying for Tebow to come in and be a 3rd stringer for even a year. I'd be less surprised to see him go to Cleveland or NE.

Let's not forget that Alex Smith is still floating around out there too. The Niners may make amends and re-sign him now that Peyton's out of the mix, but if he doesn't take their offer he could sign elsewhere too.

Oh and David Gerrard is on the slate too...and Matt Leinart. Lots of QB's out there looking for jobs.

Well I hate to break it to them, but Tebow isn't the answer.  His arrival will prevent the young team from growing (remember, they had a LOT of significant injuries last season).  Cassel is also slated to earn in excess of $10 million this year.  This is the last year he'll be making any guaranteed money, so I have to imagine they'll give him one last shot.

I don't mind KC.  In fact, I'd like them to do well.  So for that reason, I hope they stay away from Tebow.  The chances of lady luck shining her beautiful face over him 189379384 times again are about as good as the Cubs going 162-0.

No love for....

Word on the street is he may be a cost cutting casualty.  He's definitely just as good (and probably better) than Leinart.  Matty WANTS to be a backup.  You know how mad he was when Schaub got hurt?  He was like "maybe I'll get lucky and sustain a season ending injury the first game."

Clausen may be a bit of a punk, but you can't deny the success he had in college, especially his final year.  Whether that translates to the NFL remains to be seen, but he'll be given a shot somewhere I imagine.

Spoiler alert ... sort of.

I have spent the last almost 2 hours watching online grooming videos to approve/use for our salons in training new "pet stylists".  It's as thrilling as it sounds.  Perhaps more so, if you even believe it!

a touch sad today.  only 1 more monday of babysitting molly.   also really happy.  she was very talkative (still don't know what shes saying but it means a lot to her)  she laughed a lot and played nonstop except for lunch and an hour nap.  here's the best part......wait for it...she took 4-5 steps and didn't fall on her ass.  she just stood there.  then figured out crawling was still the easier way to get across the room.  of course i clapped and she followed suit.  last week i heard "uh oh" from her a million times.  today the watchword was "HI"   no big deal until it was diaper change time.  as i'm removing the diaper i told  her that she had a full load, to which i heard "HI"  about  10 times.  had to laugh in spite of fighting off the gags.   didn't say hi when i got there this morning but she greets a full diaper like a long lost friend.    that is all.  over and out   cool

Speaking of Sophia's Mom, do Darryl and her have a Mother/Son deal or is it the hots for each other or (heaven help us) the combo Oedipal complex? She's a "wet blanket" character at this point, but she's just old-lady-foxy enough (Darryl may need to find some booze to make it work) to pull off a really interesting and weird twist that we all kinda saw coming, but still caught us off guard subconsciously. Look most guys have done crazier crap during long weekends on a road trip. During the zombie end of days? Everything is in play. EVER-REE-THING.

Nope...i just google'd "Walking Dead Michonne"...and the screen caps that pop up show them chained up around the neck.

Nevermind...i just saw  the picture from the graphic novel that that scene was based off of and the zombie's lower jaw had been cut off too.  You couldnt see it on film because it was too dark.

I dunno, I get the feeling it's a "they have the hots for each other but she's too traumatized for a real relationship and he's a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks" kinda deal. I have a feeling the old chick is younger in the graphic novels. She had, what? An 8 (-ish) year old and she's like 52. I'm not sayin' it's not possible, I'm just sayin' I think she was past her prime WAY more than a decade ago.

The writers on The Talking Dead afterwards said this chick has the zombie thing all figured out and knows how to ... I dunno, beat them?  Train them?  She's like the Cesar Milan of the undead.  F**k if I know.

We'll see in the fall.

I knew there was something f**ked up with their mouths.  I thought maybe she knocked their teeth out or something.  Then again, zombies are borderline R-worded, so wouldnt' they still TRY to eat her face off?  I'm still going with Cesar's Way or clicker-training or something.

Holding my spot in case I have something to say after shoveling Lainey a care package. Also Over/Under week 10 before Peyton is in a wheelchair, Denver's O-line sucks!

The Broncos allowed 47 sacks in 18 games that is 2.6 sacks per game. That was with a mobile QB, Peyton could barely avoid a sack in the prime of his career. He may die on the field this year!

For those that remember the weekend F/E, I'm having some issues with the most difficult and likely most heavily tested part of the Auditing CPA exam. I have two weeks to fix the problem or I will fail the exam, simple as that.

My late friend Jack would've loved this tournament. All 4 Ohio teams in the Sweet 16, 3 of which he had ties too (undergrad at Ohio State, PhD at Cinci, and taught at Xavier).

It's finally race week for IndyCar! Unfortunately (or fortunately for all of you since you didn't want to read it), I don't have any time to write anything on the site about it.

So last night I innocently tweeted that the Jersey Shore rejects on The Amazing Race haven't been annoying, much to my surprise (although everyone else on the show is a saint compared to the Big Brother tards). It got retweeted and favorited by the reject who calls himself Joey Fitness. Not sure what to make of that one.

I am training a new employee again this week, kid's uncle used to work in transport years ago and now works in the cath lab.  I was out with some friends Saturday night after I got out of work, and have some bumps and bruises that I think I know where they came from.  I twisted my bum ankle again and didn't realize it until yesterday.  This is the same ankle that I sprained jumping off bleachers in 9th grade and it got twisted more than halfway around.  I scraped my left knee on the pavement, and my right side hurts.  I need to do a double shot of NASCAR power rankings this week because I completely forgot to do them, so for those of you who actually read them, there will be a delayed set of rankings from the race at Vegas followed by this week's rankings after Bristol.  It's time to sit down for the night, relax, and tell me who said it!

BK over and out

So how much liquor do you need to intake to not realize you sprained your ankle.  I was a bit concerned at first, because all I saw was that you twisted your bum and I thought that might have been better kept between you and Jesus.  Oh well thankfully it was your ankle so you are excused from having to speak to Jesus...for now.

I can be walking and that thing will twinge.  If it happened when I think it happened, I didn't feel that at first because all I felt was my knee scraping the asphalt while wearing shorts.  If it didn't happen at the same time then I musta just blew it off as another of those infamous tweaks.

So then you don't have to shovel humidity?

If so then humidity already beats snow, especially since i spent the last 2 days shoveling at least 2 feet of snow!

I just found out that on NFL Draft weekend, I am going to meet the woman of my dreams. My buddies text message..

"New bartender at the priceless, 6'1", loves football, looks like wonder woman, tats. you are going to be in love."

He is so right, if I had to describe my ideal woman that would be it.

Vacation was amazing.  I almost brought home a man from El Salvador named Miguel who is a server at Gloria's, which is a Salvadorian restaurant with AMAZING food.  He made those of us who were drinking VERY strong drinks, which let to obnoxious laughing and overly loud whispering.  I should've just said that s**t out loud cuz everyone heard me.  How embarrassing.

Delta did not want me to return home.  They had to buy me a ticket on American Airlines to get my happy ass home.  Thank God DFW is a small city so I could entertain myself for four hours until my plane boarded.  All in all, though, it was a very good week.

Can you guys help me understand some s**t?

1.  Why do people ask "How are WE doing?"  I can't answer for anyone but myself.  I might have multiple personalities and you might have multiple personalities.  Unless my multiple personalities are playing with your multiple personalities, then there is no WE.

2.  Why do people use the pronoun "you" when they are talking about themselves.  I heard a lady talking about being at the beach and she said, "You could see all the way to the bottom of the ocean."  I wasn't there and the person she was talking to wasn't there, so she was the only one who could see to the bottom of the ocean.

3.  Why do people apologize for their feelings?  "I'm sorry, but that is one ugly child."  If you're sorry, then why did you say it.  And if you're going to say it, why be sorry for it?  I just don't get it.

These are the things that float around in my head.

Quick notes on vacation
as a true Broncs fan, Manning is a HUGE coup and way better option than little baby Jesus..
Add in Jeff Saturday and the broncos still have one of the best o-lines in the league (see left tackle Ryan Clady)
I still like turtles

Most of those sacks were on The Mile High Messiah, who reads a D like Stevie Wonder and has a 7 second release. Manning has always had a great drop back / sack ratio. Ball comes out. I think the problem is going to be receivers not being where he wants them to be and (maybe?) his lack of arm strength. Throwing deep-outs and tight seam patterns to Duke red-shirts like Uncle Rico is one thing, NFL games are different.

Lots of QB's out there looking for jobs.
since the Dolphins signed Garrard, he might come to Miami to back up Garrard and help the Dolphins actually draw fans to the games since there is a huge UF contingent here in south Fla.
