Over/Under: Walking across the Hudson
So Tebow was introduced to the media today (he's a back-up QB by the way) and it's never to early to start the countdown as to when The Sanchise loses his job.

OVER/UNDER 61/2 GAMES

Timmy is pretty much a public player at this point, so maybe that's a bit high? i honestly don't know?

BONUS question: On a scale from 1 to Richard Simmons at a bath house, how excited am I for Fireman Ed to start a J!-E!-S!-U!-S!, Jesus-Jesus-Jesus!!! chant? (Hint: I'm already at a 13)

What the hell was that? Concise, smart, thoughtful and totally made sense. I was hoping for more of a Celebrity Death match breakdown from The Janet. I may need to go out and get Maria Menounos to light a QMZ fire.

(Also I'd like to lay to rest all the rumors about the behind the scenes problems at QMZ. Janet is great and I look forward to working with her for a very long time. The Hostess controversy has been wildly exaggerated and completely overblown by the Q. I'm also going to go on the record and say QMZ will win an EMMY and a Pulitzer this year. NOW LET'S GO EAT A G*DD@M SNACK!!)

He's done- first game he throws multiple intercepts- he's out of there- Gang Green put too much on his shoulders thinking he was going to be all that- the past 2yrs the jets made the AFC title game was because of their rushing- w/o that the Jets are a mediocfre team at best and I havent just jumped on this wagon

Your numbers make no sense. I agree with Janet. All depends on Mr Sanchez and his playing.

Sorry ...
Week one Sanchez snags a sip of Tebow's Gatorade, giving him the mouth AIDS.  Tebow's puritanical immune system is ill-prepared to fend off the illness, and he dies a slow, painful, cold sore ridden death, thereby Sanchez remains the QB, if only by default.

Someone described Tebow going to the Jets like The Mad Real World: Chappelle Show edition.  Perfect.  There will never be a dull moment in Jets camp, that's fo sho.  That said, Sanchez will remain the starter for the entire season barring a catastrophic start and/or an injury.  They just gave him a good amount of money in his extension, and as well all know, money talks....even when TIMMAH is around.

But man oh man do I hope and pray (while Tebowing) that I'm wrong.

Great effing analogy, lol!!

That extension was really only about 2.5 Mil (l think) over existing contract guaranteed money. I think it was a cap move (it's going to lower Sanchez's hit once the cap goes up significantly in year 3) / publicity vote of confidence, which makes this Tebow deal even more WTF-ish.

You may be right.  I thought the extension made more of the $$$ guaranteed.  Either way, maybe there is actually something to the "they did it for the betterment of the locker room" theory.

Ridiculous if that was their reasoning.  But like most things Jets related, nothing shocks me with them.

i'm going with Over.

It really depends on how well that team plays as a whole as well as how the Dirty Sanchez plays (shrug).

They just re-signed Sanchez, so, it would have to come down to him getting injured or him throwing a ton of picks before they yank him (in my opinion).

or, now having read everyone's post, WHAT JSWOLE said!  smiley

Right the extension did get him some added guaranteed money but it was mainly to help them be more cap flexible in the end. Personally after seeing Sanchez late last season last couple games he just came off as a guy who didn't care or was oblivious to the situation (maybe locker rooms problems who knows) , his body language on sideline and the way he would just walk over after a horrible offensive series and sit down in shade on bench no looking over pic's no communication with any other players or coaches just stood out and the camera kept going to him on sidelines as to make ya think the guys in truck noticed it too. I may be completely wrong here im just saying that's how it came off over tv watching the games.

He could very well be a solid QB i don't think he will ever be "great" his skills sets are average as of NFL standards but he could be solid and a winner for the Jets if his attitude doesn't get in the way.

I think bringing in Tebow was a horrible move nothing Jets fans like more then a QB controversy and im sure they looked at is as lets bring in a "name" to spark Sanchez into action , but that could really blow up if Sanchez plays poorly early on because after last season the NY media and fans will have Sanchez on a very short leash and pressure could really hurt him more then help in  the end and well Tebow just isn't the answer because although he may be able to win a few regular season games he will never be a "playoff" winning type of QB.

odds of it being a clusterf**k -  50/50

I'll go over 6.5 games before sanchez is pulled more or less because i don't think Rexie will get along well with Tesus , seems to me contradictory lifestyles to say the least  wink

what's the over /under on the Jets coming to their senses and telling Wrecks Ryan to start walking?  seems to me HE is the problem with the Jets.  not Sanchez or Tebow
#18 | 755 days ago

I want Tebow to have his own reality show......................."documenting" the whole thing. In fact I would like him to room with Mark "hotty pants" Sanchez. I totally see the "Chosen One" turning all Hank the Tank meets Long Duck Dong meets an Amish young person during....Rumspringa. Can we make this happen? What are the odds of "The One" getting inked all over? a tear drop, 3 Mi Vida Loca dots??? Getting a place in Chelsea? Going to see Rent? Wearing white after Labor Day?

****Oh...sorry, I think Sanchez plays the whole season barring any injuries.

I already called the last second TD pass by St. Eli in the first of two Super Bowls where he kicked Brady's arse. I missed it on him being raptured into heaven at the end of the game. I may be closer to that with the Jets and Tebow. I am thinking Sanchez takes them into and through the playoffs. I say they take on the Bears in the Super Bowl, Sanchez gets his bell rung going into the fourth quarter with the team down by 10. Every Jet fan on the planet says, 'man, we're ****ed' all at the same time. Tebow comes in and passes for a TD, then he kicks an onside thing which he recovers. He then throws another TD pass, this time to himself. The Jets win by 3. As he lifts the Lombardi Trophy over his head during the post-game celebration and the whole platform is lifted into the heavens while Jets fan are yelling 'Te-bow, Te-bow, Te-bow'. After about 10 minutes of looking up at the sky, the Jets fans leave the stadium and find a place to have some brews and eat a pizza.

I have been saying that getting Tebow will show Sanchez he can't slack off and not be totally in the game. Watch Sanchez have a monster year this year because Tebow is waiting to play more than punt team protector and Wildcat QB

When are people going to realize Sanchez isn't any good?  Tebow isn't any better and probably won't start, but that doesn't make Marky Mark any good.  The dude is an average QB - and that's being generous.
