I have been filling out brackets for a very long time. I mean back when being on line didn't involve a computer. Now you can fill out so many that your chances of a good one goes up. I filled out 2 brackets, one here on the Q, and one on CBS. The bracket here was the better one and the best I've ever had. It was also the least informed I've ever been. I was better than picking jersey colors, but not much.

The Rant:


I was tied for 5th this morning but now I'm not. The score says I am, but the rank doesn't. I know it's not suppose to matter, but guess what...I care.   See my wife didn't fill out a bracket, but she kind of followed mine with me, and I told her we finished in 5th place.

Now that is where we should be ranked, but we're not. So I've got to tell her tomorrow that we finished 7th. I don't want to tell her that because it shouldn't be, however the married Qers know: You Don't Lie To Your Wife. According to the rank we finished seventh, but we really finished 5th.

"If the rank has us at 7th that's where we finished." She will say. Nothing I will say after that will convince her that we should be 5th.

It wouldn't be so bad to have finished 7th, but not when I should be 5th. I know it sounds like I'm complaining, but I'm not. Where did your bracket place? OH, you forgot to fill one out. Done!
