There's absolutely a difference. 

NS snobby = they're young and rich (pre-college - think "Mean Girls") and haven't been subjected to life outside their sheltered suburb, and as a result, think they're God's gift to life.  OR....they're so far removed from city life, they have gone back to the ways of their childhood.  In layman's terms, they think they walk on water.   

LP snobby - a few years removed from college....still have a hint of the "my family has money so I'm important" mentality, but they've lived in the city long enough to understand life exists outside of Wilmette, Lake Forest, etc.  They also tend to be yuppies/recent college grads that are experiencing life without mommy and daddy's money for the first time.

Agreed - kind of. I look at it as: One night stands actually could be one of two (or more) scenarios- 
1 - two acquaintances who end up hooking up for whatever reason and mutually decide it's a one-time deal
2 - two basically strangers who hook up one night and...that's pretty much it

...and that hit it and quit it was acquaintances/friend/dates hooking up and just basically one person deciding after (or maybe before) the first and only hookup that they're over it.
