Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

As much as I hate baseball, I will be sad when Chipper retires. I have 3 baseball jerseys, all are his. Also, is there an 80 yr old man pitching in Denver? That seems odd.

Firefly still makes me happy.

First bitches!

Y'all jelly of my quick tigger finger?

Blackhawks game in t-minus 9 hours 15 minutes and 12 seconds.....I'm PUMPED!  Great to see LA take out the Canucks last night.  Is there a more hated team than Vancouver?  I think not.  Fluky win for the Preds last night.  Shea Weber should get at least two games for that cheapshot.  Doubt he gets any, though.  WTF was he thinking?  Idiot!  I'm shocked Philly came back to win.  I switched to the Wings/Preds game when it was 3-0....only to turn it back right ar Philly was tying it up.  That series is gonna be awesome.

Bulls/Heat tonight serves as an appetizer for the Hawks game.  And Thursday night = happy hour for JSwol (fresh off parole).  Yeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh buuuuuuuuddddddyyyyyy!

Tuned into Modern Family last night as well.  Hysterical...per usual.  I was rollin' when the two gays were cruising around yelling at civilians, especially when the button stuck as they were raggin' on ole girl.

Bobby Petrino still has support in Fayetteville.

And don't ever mess with geese...

"They can hit pretty hard with their beaks. Just remember to maintain eye contact (like mentioned above). That is probably the most important rule when facing down a goose (or any number of them, they like to fight in packs.) Also another important strategy is to spread your lats out, this will intimidate them. If the challenge is accepted the goose will spread its wings out as a sign to commence battle. The best way to start off the fight is to run straight at it and flap your arms while still spreading your lats (hard to do, but easily accomplished with a few weeks training.) The goose will either be scared off at this point, or ready to take you on. If the latter is true, prepare for a long fight because once a goose decided to attack, he's in it to win it."

Happy Temptation Thursday!

How about those LA KINGS!!!  4-2 winners over the a**holes!  Anyone who watched last night's LA-VAN game, should NOW know why most of the people on here HATE Vancouver!   They are a very dirty team. Last night, they were called for 3 charging/boarding calls!  They were INTENTIONALLY trying to hurt LA KING players!  Now, this IS Hockey and it is a physical sport, but, the object is not to try and intentionally hurt the other team!  The object is to try and outscore the other team and be physical, not dirty! But, in the end LA got the last laugh, winning 4-2!  There should be a suspension coming to Vancouver's Byron Bitz (who???).

Speaking of suspensions, let's see how dou**ebag Brendan Shanahan handles the Shea Weber incident!  He took DET's Henrik Zetterberg by the back of the head and slammed his face into the glass last night!  Since Shanahan is a fuhktahrd, it will be interesting to see what happens. Nashville ended up beating DET 3-2

WOW!  Pittsburgh, at home, up 3-0 after the 1st period, pulled a 2003 CUBS and lost in OT 4-3 to PHILLY!  Not sure if they will be able to bounce back..I know it's only game 1, but those types of losses can have a very long lasting effect!  LETS GO PITT!

We all know the economy is bad, but, it turns out, that's not always a bad thing........looks what else has gone down in price

Hi

I don't know, should i brag about how I've been given an additional charge of another team along with the one i already manage or should i bi^*# about the extra work without the extra pay. I just don't feel the love tonight.

The Kings won #HI5Teach that was good i had to follow the game through twitter but I'll take what comes my way and a victory is always welcome.

If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.

AWESOME!

So I posted this on another board (thanks, Woody) and some people have posted variations of their grilled chizzle sammich.

One guy had this to say......"Put sugar on the inside liberally on top of the cheese before grilling. Thank me later. NomNomNom."

Anyone heard of such a thing?  I'm intrigued to say the least....

I'm so happy jswol changed his picture.

I don't agree with one of the option choices above - sure, friends should be few but good...but books? Uh "few" is not good. Speaking of books, what am I supposed to be reading this month? I'm currently in the middle of James Patterson's "Private" books, but I'm thinking those might get me through the weekend at best.

How is it that A&W Root Beer doesn't have caffeine in it but A&W Cream Soda does? That seems backwards to me.

I've decided something. I need to find a good copy of Iz's Somewhere Over the Rainbow for my ipod. I'm going to choreograph a tribal fusion dance to it...while playing the ukulele. So I'll need to also find the tabs for the song (which won't be difficult). This should be a few month long project, but knowing me it will probably take a year or two. Wish me luck.

So I'm trying to get into the Google Play store (Android's new "Market") to download the Pogo app that they say they now have. When I try to do so on my phone (logged in under my account - remember that fact), it won't find Pogo for me in the list of apps. Then when I go on the computer and try to go in and download it through Pogo/EA, it takes me to the Google Play main site, which tells me I either have no devices or I haven't visited Google Play logged into my account. I'm seriously fed up. I JUST WANNA PLAY POGO ON MY PHONE!

I find it sad that I have over 400 facebook friends - which include FanIQ people, my family, and friends from back home as well as my coastie friends from various stations - and I'm "hiding all updates" from more of my family than anyone else. Why? Because they're either fundamental Christians, super conservative republicans, or both, and they won't shut up about either on their timeline.

Anybody wanna order something from my Scentsy party? I KNOW there are some of you who love smellygoods like candles and such!

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

As an avowed conservative, I often find myself at odds with pretty much anything being said by any politician currently in office, and more specifically with anything coming out of the mouth of President Sotero.  However, in a remarkable turn of events, I find myself in complete and total agreement with Barry on this one:  Kanye West is a jackass.  There.  Now you F'ers can't accuse me of not being bi-partisan anymore.

Former Heavyweight champ, Mike Tyson has broken his silence concerning the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman issue, saying that it is a shame that George Zimmerman hasn't already been shot in the head.  Way to let those wheels of justice turn their Mikey.  Now STFU and by the way, you still got a little piece of ear right there, stuck in that humongous f**king gap in your teeth.

Axel Rose is busily showing the world that he has not reformed from his days of being one of the all-time greatest douchebags in rock and roll history.  The former lead man for Guns and Roses has asked that his name be removed from consideration for inclusion into the rock and roll hall of fame as part of the band, GNR.  Cactus Jack Inc. has it on good info that Axel's real reason for not wanting to be there is that the R&R HOF could not guarantee that they would double the order of celebratory cake.  Fat F'n has-been.

That's all the news.

You F'ers have been edJACKated!

My pancakes buddy ......."slouch"....."looks lost out there"......Dustin Penner scored the game winner last night! So that's why you trade away Colten Teubert and a number 1 pick. lol Mike Richards was a stud last night, and that hit on Burrows at the end was just icing on the cake. Here .....let's all see that again.

RICHARDS BURIES BURROWS

Beautiful! I can watch that over and over. sigh. Anywhoo. The game was great. I think I hyperventilated a little bit -----Kings were the better team, yet they were tied in the third. Luongo came up big for the Canucks or it would have been uglier. I had to step away from twitter to finish watching the rest of the game. That calmed me. lol

As for discipline-----that Bitz (sp?) guy should get at least 3 games (probably only 1). Cheap. Kassian (sp?).....I already know I'm going to hate him too. Ryan Kessler-----what the heck was this? You are 6 feet + alotta pounds and you flop like that when Richards bumps you. Love how the Canucks all look towards the refs. sigh.

Then there was this that got Canucks fans all pissy....to which I say put on your big boy or girl chonies.

Anywhoo.....I ate a "puck" last night with some milk after the game. It settled my nerves. Have a good day.

silent bark at the same time as him.  He's pissed.   Ba rking is not another word for farts.  just sayin.

Morning to the West and Mountain timezone people.

Twins won yesterday, and playing again now. I love baseball season.

My mind wandering got the best of me last night, stayed up for many more hours than I wanted to (went to bed at 1am, stayed up til after 4). To go along with my friend now staying at my place, and needing to be let into the apartment in the morning when he gets off of work, not nearly enough sleep.

Seeing my crush today in a slightly different circumstance than the usual, so I'm happy about that.

Was thinking of you the whole 1st and 2nd period.  I had to go to sleep after LA scored to make it 2-1.....afterall, it was 2 hrs later where I am at and had to work this morning!  Old man need sleep!   smiley

I kept thinking how eerily similar LA looked on the power play, to that of my beloved Blackhawks, until they scored late in the 2nd during the 5 minute major to BITCHZ!  I was like, WTF, you just had 5 straight PP's and no goals.....UGH!!  Then, Mitchell's blast went in and I exhaled!

Thank God they finally cashed in on that!  phew!   I just wish last night was the deciding game so that VAN could be gone for good!  If LA plays this way the rest of the way, and if VAN takes STUPID penalties, LA will advance!!

I'm out.
Regarding my yawn, there has been an overload in the media on this case, and I get so tired of these "Trials-by-media".   I'm all for justice, but this is not the way.  Having the case handled poorly by law enforcement at the beginning, poorly reported by the local news, and amplified by all the big national news media has twisted this case out of proportion in the wrong directions.   From the 911 call that had details omitted to the poor quality video at the police station leaked, to the photos of both parties used, this has us on the brink of becoming a big lynch mob, and most of us do not have all the details, and we're already hanging Zimmerman in our mind.

I'm not denying that racisim exists in this fine country.  We all have biases in dealing with people, though most strive to get past that.

But from what I have heard about the details we do have, racism should not be considered.   Yes, we have an idiot who brought a gun to a Skittle fight, but Treyvon acted suspiciously enough to Zimmerman (Up for interpretation by the courts, not us), Zimmerman followed when recommended not to, and somewhere along the way a physical altercation occured.  (Again, how that altercation started and how it ran its course is up for interpretation by the courts based on the evidence.)

Just a warning....but it's coming back if the Hawks sh*t the bed this weekend.  They played very well while I was donning my Ovie avy.

Good morning peoples,

Thanks to the fine people at Angie's List, I enjoyed the Rockies game in style last night.  Fully catered suite with complimentary cold Coors Light, dogs, pizza, snacks, it was fantastic.  Throw in the fact the Rockies scored blew a 6-0 lead, scored 10 unanswered, and settled with a 17-8 win, I was pleased. And yes Ashlie, the Rockies will be carting 84 year old Jamie Moyer to the mound again today.

I got to catch highlights of the first two games last night, and made it home for some 3rd period Kings-Canucks action.  The Pens, Red Wings AND Canucks all losing in the same night? It was almost enough to make me want to JO.  Something else may have contributed but that would violate the gag order.

It's funny how people in the media have forgotten what a piece of s**t Bobby Petrino is

If you're ever feeling a little blue, I am going to share a little video that even after hundreds of views, NEVER gets old.. Ever.  Greatest wrestling fan ever

A)  Scentsy party?  What is this scentsy party you speak of?  I love things that stink pretty.  I'm kinda broke, so I might not be of much help to you, but I also know TONS of homosexuals who love some scented candles (I walk in their house and I don't know if I interrupted a romantic moment or if they're going to sacrifice me).
B)  Yes (about the books).  I was thinking the same thing, which is why I didn't pick it.

Good day, bitches.

So I just got over being sick, and now my coworker is coughing and sniffling and sneezing up a storm.  indecision  And sadly, you'd think I'd be more sympathetic, but this chick is ALWAYS sick and NEVER goes to the doctor.  Bitch is like the g*d damn monkey in "Outbreak", it's gross.  It's like working in a daycare with all the sickness floating around.  Ugh.

I downloaded the new version of Oregon Trail on my Fire.  It's super addictive, but a lot like Yahoo games (and many Facebook games, so I've heard) in that you can do a bunch of stuff, but eventually you're going to HAVE to spend some money to fully play the game.  I'm not, so I guess I'm in it until the last pioneer rolls over from Dysentery.

I also downloaded Draw Something.  I'm not sure about this.  I'm not very artistic, and it's way harder when you're "drawing" with your finger (and I don't know how to erase ... I haven't explored much yet because, even though there is no timer that I can see, I still feel panicked to finish it quickly, like the hourglass is on its last few grains of sand).
Also, I'm bad at guessing.  I'm the chick in Pictionary screaming out "it's a house ... it's a leaf ... it's a jukebox ... it's a goldfish".  Because apparently they all look the same when being drawn in real-time.

Oh, and I don't like how the person gets to actually watch you draw it.  OK, you can see the finished product, but I don't want some person watching while I retardedly try to draw a sock, f**k up 16 times, then finally say to hell with it and send it.

It's totally online, and it doesn't close until April 18th - here's the link. You can order directly from that site, and it will be shipped directly to you (or any of the guys who wish to order can do the same).

Ever hear of Scentsy? Totally cool - little flameless warmers with kind of a tray on top - you plug them in (there's a little light inside), you put the stink good wax bars in the tray and the warmer melts it, making your house smell delicious. You can check out the link for more info - they also have hand sanitizer, house spritz, travel tins (I like that idea for my car), and all sorts of other stuff. In chrome the link to the party sometimes locks me up for just a second while the page loads but it goes away - it doesn't do that to me in Firefox.

I was a little skeptical of Scentsy at first...just another catalog party thing for bored housewives, I thought. But my sister-in-law got a burner and some smellygood blocks for my mom for mother's day one year and I fell in love with them. The wax doesn't have alcohol in it, so it burns cleanly...you can put them on a shelf in bookcases or other places that might have a low ceiling without destroying things. Plus, there are all sorts of fragrances to choose from. I like the baked goods and tropical stuff.

I have a stylus... it's easier. You can push the eraser to erase in diff sizes, and choose diff sizes to draw in too.

LETS GO PITT!

sexy, you don't have to deserve any flesh eating virus just because she is a trainee and she is sick. Hell, trainees are supposed to stay home if sick; one of the first things you tell a newbie at the j.o.b. is to stay home if you feel sick so as not to infect everyone. Saves on labor too.

Dude!  You better fear for all of the Hawks safety!  With don't have a physical team....all of our studs are finess players (Hossa, Sharp, Kane, Toews, Stalberg)......Bickell needs to step up his physical prescence.....we know Seabs, Shaw, Mayers and Bollig will do their thing,  You could probably add Bolland to that physcial list....but, that's about it.  frown

1. Went and picked up my regular glasses today!

2. The Twins won their second game, it also happens to be their second in a row. I guess I could live with a 158-4 record at the end of the year!

Let's see, not fat or ugly(check), Tats(check), huge tray full of Bacon(check). Yep that would pretty much be my reaction!

Also while we are on the topic of Bacon, Burger King is testing a Bacon Sundae, in Tennessee I believe. I will definitely be giving it a shot when and if it goes national, or if I am ever in an area where it is available. From what I understand, unlike Jack in the Box's "bacon shake," this one uses actual Bacon!

I don't mind Tony Lucca - I don't love him but he doesn't bug me. I'm just super happy Tony V. is gone now. I was also surprised enough by Cheesa's performance to be happy she ended up staying.

As strong as Adam's team is, I was surprised by the crap-show they put on on Monday. I wasn't really super impressed by anybody but Katrina, which made it even more annoying that Adam had to save her in the first place. America is dumb.

I'm very seriously considering a trip to St. Louis next year for my birthday/hockey trip.  I may include it as part of a trip to Texas, where hopefully I'll get to see hockey as well.

They play hockey in Texas? Do they know that there isn't snow or consistently cold enough temperatures to play hockey in?

Yep.  Dallas plays in American Airlines Arena.

You're seriously asking that question?

When Arizona has teams like the Coyotes and the Sundogs?  (Based on a quick Google search)

There are purists who say these southern teams have no business even thinking about hockey.

Mark your calendar, guys and dolls.  I just refused to comment in a poll for which I don't want the updates.  It's the first time and quite possibly the last.

I pretty much do that every time ML31 has commented, and if he comments after me, I immediately regret commenting in that thread.

Not if you don't want to, it can be fun at times. You just have to have thick skin, cause Ash and Kat will tell you that they hate you and you need to STFU at least once a day.

It sucks to be one of the few conservatives around here. That's why I really try to restrain myself with politics. This particular poll had nothing to do with politics. It was just full of hatefulness otherwise.

And I didn't even post the requisite picture of Jordin Tootoo that I swore I'd post in every poll that took that nasty turn.

His team did mess up, so any of them could've been bottom 3 really. Katrina looks weird, btw... like she could've been in Hairspray Crybaby. I like her voice but not the rest of her.  Kim was disappointing, she needed better song choices. I am glad Powder is gone (Christina was rude to him, I'm over her right now), and I would've sent pie face home. I hated that. I skipped about halfway through her performance and Powder's.

P.s. I am creeped out by odd cranium's avatar.

I kind of think that Katrina's looks are why America didn't vote her to stay in the first place, because her voice is fantastic - which makes me sad. It's called "The Voice!" I'm kind of rooting for her, especially now that Kim is gone.
