Good morning Q'ville. Sunday edition.
Good morning, I realized it's been awhile since we have had a good morning Q'ville poll. Now, I know it's Sunday and usually kinda slow around here, but, there may be one or two of us trolling and lurking.

So guys what's on your schedule for today? Greg and I are going to start tilling the garden and getiing it ready for planting. It's gooing to be exhausting but, home grown veggies are worth it. Then later we will jump on the bike and go for some ice cream I would just imagine.

Anyone got any good what the hell did I do last night stories? We would love to be amused by them today.

Anyone got anything they would like to rant about? Maybe a team thats getting ready to trade a great player like Marlon Byrd? Good morning Q'ville. Sunday edition. Photo

Ok, that's it, I just was in the make a poem poll and my mind is still trying to rhyme and it's pissing me off. So, I will let you guys take it from here. Good morning Q'ville. Sunday edition. Photo

I'm sitting on my front porch drinking coffee, trying to get my lazy azz motivated. No good stories since I haven't drank for a couple of weeks, maybe next weekend!

Not a fan of the Yankees but dammit, the Red Sox deserved this headline.  Watched them implode yesterday.

My bad, I was thinking about the sugar.

Sometimes I am amazed at the kindness one person is able to show another.  One of the producers for the Nashville Predators is diabetic, and he is unable to tell when his blood sugar goes too high or too low.  There is a fundraiser in his honor to help him get a diabetic dog who can sense when he needs to regulate his sugar.  I almost cried as I saw a message from a Detroit fan who gave in spite of being a fan of an opposing team.  I guess my faith in humanity is not that great.  All too often, it seems like people don't act any better than animals who'd rather eat their weak than to give the weak a hand up.

Fans from other teams will donate and just post the comment "Hockey Family."  The more I watch hockey, the more I'm convinced that such a thing exists.

Gotta get ready to head down to Phx for the NFL Draft on Thursday. I need to do my laundry, cut my hair, and and pack my bags. But for some reason I just keep sitting here watching the Lakers and not doing sh!t.

Metta World Peace is not being very peaceful.

While we are on the subject of stupidity, this comment from the d-bags d-backs commentator. "He did it again, his first career grand slam home run." If it is his first career grand slam home run, what exactly did he do again?

Pens are done, Flyers are moving on to round 2.  That said, Claude Giroux is a dirty piece of trash who will be sorry for leaving his feet to hit Crosby.  Payback is a b****, Claude.  That boy better have his head on a swivel next time he plays the Pens, because he will get what's coming to him.wink

Pretty sure that was a clean hit. His feet don't leave the ice till contact is made.....much like Brown's hit on Sedin.

To me there is nothing clean about that hit, sorry.  He clearly targeted Crosby right off the bat, and that's dirty.  Sid should've gone right back at him and flattened him, stood up for himself.  Giroux deserves the payback, simple as that.

I don't agree.

Claude Giroux > than Sid the Kid in this series.

He left his feet too, but to me that looks more like shoulder, whereas Giroux basically shoved Sid right in the face.  It's the same idea of targeting the star player.  But alas, I've moved on.  I'm done with it.  I'll just be happy as long as the Caps and Flyers don't win the Cup.

A woman who over ate, smoked over a pack a day and drank 21 cans of coke a day has died.  And it was the Coke's fault.  COmmon sense had NOTHING to do with it

But if crosby hit him like that you'd be Glorifying him as the greatest ever. Good job unbiased fan you probably thought ashams throat check and sucker punch was clean. Thank god you don't work for the NHL. Also Crosby was real nice to knock off his glove

sensitive much?

And quite honestly, he couldn't do any worse than the clowns the NHL has on the ice during these playoffs.

IMO, both were clean hits.

We shouldn't even have to analyze the Brown hit, but, lets.......shall we?

Brown hits sister Sedin in the upper chest/right shoulder and he does not leave his feet prior to contact. = clean ht

Giroux hits Crosby in the right shoulder and proceeds in an upward motion with a shove to the face. His feet DO NOT leave the ice prior to contact.....the hit is clean!  The shove to the face is a typical physical, get under your skin, hit that happens all the time....especially in front of the net.

The only time leaving your feet is illegal is when it is done prior to the hit.  Most hits, if you drive through the body on your hit, will cause you to lift up.....this, by NHL standards is not illegal because you have left your feet after making contact first.

Again, IMO, neither hit was dirty or should of warranted a penalty.  I am auditioning for Shanahan's job, can't you tell smiley
