You would be hard pressed to find a city in the US with a worse crime rate than the South Side of Chicago.

Detroit? That city needs international forces to establish a 'Green Zone' kinda like they had in Baghdad.

Robocop told the story of Detroit well before it unfolded.

Could be in Williams AZ, where they arrest you for DUI and shoot and kill you while you are in handcuffs, inside the police station.

How about in Florida, while if you walk down the street in a hooded sweatshirt mind in your own business, being an upstanding citizen and a neighborhood watcher caps you...no?  too soon?

I got drug dealers and users within a block radius of my house, and new neighbors that haven't even been living on my street for a year and already had the cops called on them more than once.

How does the DNC coming to Charlotte correlate with an increase in crime (not sourced of course) exactly? I could claim it's due to the Bobcats being the worst NBA team ever and it would make just as much sense.

I think what the captain is trying to say in the description is that the rise in crime rates in Charlotte this year isn't because of the DNC, but rather asking about the crime rate in your area and wondering if the delegates are concerned for their safety knowing there's been a rise in the crime rate in the city.

If that's the case, my apologies for the reading comprehension fail. I've been in training this week, and I'm pretty sure it's killing off precious brain cells.
