Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

*Sex IS better than love, but I love the way you lie.

*I woke up singing: You see, the 'S' is for super, and the 'U' is for unique
The 'P' is for perfection and you know that we are freaks
The 'E' is for exotic, and the 'R' is for raps
So tell those nosy people just to stay the hell back

*Jason Momoa is one beautiful hawaiian.

*The Celtics are awful. Seriously. Seriously. If the Hawks weren't awful and completely ridiculous in the 4th, no way they lose that game. I was a tiny bit upset last night. We need a coach. I'm sure he's nice but that's not the type of coach an Atlanta team needs. The players got tired and lax, but the coach didn't help. Annnnd Josh Smith left the game with what I hope is a light sprain. I don't think I've ever seen him do that. He's a hometown boy (I dig him), plays so much better at home. We need him here. I hope... I just....GO HAWKS!  (the celtics are awful) F*** B**ton, and I want someone to take Paul P*****'s face off with a jagged, diseased razor.

*Go Lakers.

*The Voice... as expected, I guess. Cee-lo is the only one who should've done a 50/50 split. Christina is stupid and rapidly approaching Nyce craziness. I'm telling y'all. Goooo Hawks!

*It was hell getting this up today, I probably won't do it tomorrow if this persists.

2nd!

Morning gorgeous!smiley

I've missed you. I've been a little bit busy lately because the day has finally come. They called me from the job I had applied and I started yesterday. I'm exhausted! It's been a while since I worked more than 4 hours in a row. sadThe only problem is it's in the afternoons, so I'll be out a lot of time. Good thing is the benefits, better paid, no more lesson plans and working after school. Bad thing is I'm going to miss my babies! crying I kept just a couple of classes on my days off, but yesterday my new co-worker told me maybe I ha ve  to work those days sometimes, depending on the load of work. Maybe I'll have to let go those classes too. Tomorrow I start a new module with my students, I'll have to make a decision depending on how things go. I'm worried about that.
Another good thing about my new job, is just me and other guy in the office. So less people to deal with and he's nice, I met some people from the morning shift and I could see a lady "angry bird" look, wasn't happy with my arrival, but it's her problem I guess.
I have to go for now. I have to pay a lot of bills frown Catch up later. Have  a great day. Hugs and kissesheart

Morning all. I am sitting here watching Criminal minds and feeling a little like Blanche Devaroux. blush But, it's not my fault, God should have never made a man that looks as perfect as Shemar Moore does.

Allright, I'm thinking, nope nothing new here.  Oh! Janie gets to graduate in Dec. instead of May. This means I am almost done with school. smiley

Unhappy humpday,

The Bulls lost after embarrassing themselves in the 3rd quarter.  They were up 8 at half, but lost the 3rd frame 36-14.  Game over.  It's ok....being down was to be expected.  Game 3 should be a lot different.  Oh, and Evan Turner may be my most hated player in all of sports....taking the title from Aaron Rodgers.

Cubs/Reds were rained out....luckily for Cincy.

Jason, I'm game.....but don't sing it, bring it.

"Rock Bottom"

A-yo!
This song is dedicated to all the happy people
All the happy people who have real nice lives
And who have no idea whats it like to be broke as f**k

[Verse One:]
I feel like I'm walking a tight rope, without a circus net
I'm popping percocets, I'm a nervous wreck
I deserve respect; but I work a sweat for this worthless check
Bout to burst this tech, at somebody to reverse this debt
Minimum wage got my adrenaline caged
Full of venom and rage
Especially when I'm engaged
And my daughter's down to her last diaper
That's got my ass hyper
I pray that god answers, maybe I'll ask nicer
Watching ballers while they flossing in their pathfinders
These overnight stars becoming autograph signers
We all long to blow up and leave the past behind us
Along with the small fry's and average half pinters
While player haters turn bitch like they have vaginas
Cause we see them dollar signs and let the cash blind us
Money will brainwash you and leave your ass mindless
Snakes slither in the grass spineless

[Chorus (x2):]
That's Rock Bottom
When this life makes you mad enough to kill
That's Rock Bottom
When you want something bad enough to steal
That's Rock Bottom
When you feel you have had it up to here
Cause you mad enough to scream but you sad enough to tear

[Verse Two:]
My life is full of empty promises
And broken dreams
I'm hoping things will look up
But there ain't no job openings
I feel discouraged hungry and malnourished
Living in this house with no furnace, unfurnished
And I'm sick of working dead end jobs with lame pay
And I'm tired of being hired and fired the same day
But f**k it, if you know the rules to the game play
Cause when we die we know were all going the same way
It's cool to be player, but it sucks to be the fan
When all you need is bucks to be the man
Plus a luxury sedan
Too comfortable and roomy in a six
They threw me in the mix
With all these gloomy lunatics
Walk around depressed
And smoke a pound of ses a day
And yesterday went by so quick it seems like it was just today
My daughter wants to throw the ball but I'm too stressed to play
Live half my life and throw the rest away

[Chorus]

There's people that love me and people that hate me
But it's the evil that made me this backstabbing, deceitful, and shady
I want the money, the women, the fortune, and the fame
That means I'll end up burning in hell scorching in flames
That means I'm stealing your checkbook and forging your name
Lifetime bliss for eternal torture and pain
Right now I feel like just hit the rock bottom
I got problems now everybody on my blocks got 'em
I'm screaming like those two cops when 2pac shot 'em
Holding two glocks, I hope your doors got new locks on 'em
My daughter's feet ain't got no shoes or sock's on 'em
And them rings you wearing look like they got a few rocks on 'em
And while you flaunting them I could be taking them to shops to pawn them
I got a couple of rings and a brand new watch you want 'em?
Cause I never went gold of one song
I'm running up on someone's lawns with guns drawn

[Chorus]

Good day, bitches.

I don't have much to talk about.

Three days until the vacation.  Still not all that excited, although apparently we're taking a sunset cruise on a glass-bottom boat in the Bermuda Triangle.  Interesting.  If I never return, chalk it up to that.

I also hearted J.J. Fad

I have a lot to work to do today but I wanted to drop in and say hello. Jason I would love to play your avatar game but I'm not allowed to have anything up besides my face for site representation. It looks like a lot of fun - good luck to the winner (and loser as the case may be).

This is my song today...

I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done

And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
Away from here

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak, I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbyes
I nearly do

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak, I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

Slower, slower
We don't have time for that
All I want is to find an easier way
To get out of our little heads

Have heart, my dear
We're bound to be afraid
Even if it's just for a few days
Making up for all this mess

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

Have a beautiful day!

Union Rags really is a impressive horse size wise , but he has fallen out of favor a little with Joe Public and the horse on the rise seems to be Bodemeister which i don't really like looking at him on paper. I think there is a chance Bodemeister may be the fav come post time so ya could get a little better odds on union rags betting wise which would be nice. And hard to not like Borel at least a little in the derby , but he is from here so im a little biased there of course.

Im still handicapping the race and the post positions are always a big key , but so far i have excluded horses i think dont have much of a shot like Bodemeister, Mark Valeski, Optimizer, and Isn't He Clever as i cant see these being worth betting on.

That whole Sarah Phillips/ESPN/Facebook-gate is a fascinatingly great read. Especially since she was the one who basically unleashed the COME AT ME BRO! fire extinguisher vs. Ama're meme 24 hours earlier, which I think led to the whole debacle in the first place. I must have gotten 7-8 retweets of it the night before, then BOOM! ----> ESPN's Sarah Phillips is a Facebook grifter (or something). LOL

I think things will be much clearer a little later today.  Right now Bodemeister and Union Rags are both at 9-2 odds.  Bodemeister may surprise us all.  He doesn't really impress me much yet, though.  Borel is a Louisville favorite.  We LOVE him here.  It's hard not to put money on whoever he's riding just for the hell of it.

Guys like Seau who play and played with so much passion and love for the game the league and sports in general can never get enough of. Like him or not one thing was for sure when he walked out on to the field he gave everything he had and that alone made it hard not to pull for the guy to do well.  A true football warrior has fallen and a sad thing it is.

Yup i agree once the post positions are known the wagering money will start to settle in and a favorite begin to hit the front could go either way between  Rags and Bodemeister.  And honestly its hard not to like Calvin because he really is such a nice and humble guy , and a pure Cajun. Glad to know he is also loved in Louisville as much as he is down on the bayou !

I think losing a guy like Rose the way that he got hurt and in middle of a playoff and possible title run is a whole lot worse then the Saints situation. It's so frustrating when ya know the team is right there and has a chance to win it and BAM something like that happens.

And yes if ya have the time would appreciate the KD info , one thing is for sure in such a tough race getting all the information u can is a big plus. There are so many ways to see the race and how it should go that one set of eye's looking it over will miss something or a couple somethings which is why its nice to get different opinions and idea's so you can see it from all angles and give yaself a better chance to possibly win some dough !

Guys like Seau who play and played with so much passion and love for the game the league and sports in general can never get enough of. Amen.  Dude left it on the field every week.  Such a sad day...growing up he was a big reason as to why I love the NFL today.  And you know it's just a matter of time before the concussion-suicide link is made.  Duerson last year and now Junior.  Man, the game we know and love is going to change big time....probably for the better.  This is just terrible news.

Marcus - it was apparently a suicide.  Shot himself in the chest just like Duerson.  Probably for the sake of their mother(s) I imagine (if they are still around).

Agree 100% and it's happened twice now.  I just keep telling myself that it means Notre Dame will go 13-0 or 12-1.  Makes no sense, I know, but I'm just trying to look at the glass as half full.

I know very little about horse racing and any good  info is worth it's weight in gold.  No problem at all.  I wouldn't vouch for this guy if he didn't have a solid track record.

That whole Sarah Phillips/ESPN/Facebook-gate is a fascinatingly great read. I must have gotten 7-8 retweets of it the night before, then BOOM! ----> ESPN's Sarah Phillips is a Facebook grifter (or something). LOL
The part I thought was funny was when allegedly she was telling that one dude that the LAPD was going to come to his house and steal her money for her.
Was this dude 8?  That sounds like some threat a mother would make to her child.  "If you don't clean your room, Santa is going to come and steal all your Christmas presents back!"

Afternoon, Everybodee!

First off, R.I.P. Seau.   Shocker here.  He will be missed.

Band director had her evaluation given to her by the vice principal.  (Same one I had meeting with last week.)   He wants her to sign an "extended evaluation", but the whole thing is vague.  He expects and wants to see more.   (More you say?  Like what?  He doesn't know.  But he wants to see more.)

He says he wants to see a whole year's performance without any incidents.  (At this point, I thinking, oh...say involved parents calling for meetings with the vice principal maybe?)    (Ok, can you give an example of any of the incidents this year?   No, no examples.  No incidents.   But he wants to see a year without incidents.    ?????    If you have no recent examples....didn't you just have a year with no incidents?)     And he wants her to sign her evaluation just like that.  Give vague, unclear goals, and expect her to just sign it?

All you teachers (and anybodee else dealing with shtuff like that) deserve a big fat raise!

Jim Nabors will be having heart surgery soon and thus won't be able to come to the Indy 500 to sing "Back Home Again In Indiana." The Speedway is sending a film crew to Nabors' home in Hawaii to film him singing in order to play it on race day. I think IMS is missing a chance to have a Jim Nabors hologram.

To paraphrase Stephen Colbert, How dare Obama spike the ball and celebrate killing Bin Laden, in a political ad. A president should do a victory dance aboard an air craft carrier before we even know where the ball is.

Hello out there in FanIQ Land!  First off, Junior Seau left me speechless when I walked in my front door after work today.  I was supposed to get 5 pairs of pants for work, they only gave me 3.  When I called the uniform shop today while I was at work they told me the last 2 pairs haven't come in yet...so why are you giving me half the uniform?!  This uniform store may be more discombooberated than our ER, and I thought that was damn near impossible!  I've had to adjust my sleep schedule, waking up at 4:30 am all this week to get into work by 6:00.  I got an email from the manager who does the schedule at Build-a-Bear, and she was asking if I could work Mother's Day weekend in order to keep me in the system.  My reply was my official two weeks notice saying goodbye.  I had a lot of fun at that store, but it's time to move on.  In honor of saying goodbye to that place, here's the final song I sang a couple weeks ago at karaoke knowing it would be my last time at that particular bar...

Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight

Go on and close the curtains
Cause all we need is candlelight
You and me and a bottle of wine
Gonna hold you tonight

We know I'm going away
How I wish....wish it weren't so
So take this wine and drink with me
Let's delay our misery

Save tonight
And fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
And fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll be gone

There's a log on the fire
And it burns like me for you
Tomorrow comes with one desire
To take me away....it's true
It ain't easy to say goodbye
Darling please don't start cry
'Cause girl you know I've got to go
And Lord I wish it wasn't so

Save tonight
And fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
And fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll be gone

Tomorrow comes to take me away
I wish that I......that I could stay
Girl you know I've got to go
Lord I wish it wasn't so

Save tonight
And fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
And fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
And fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll be gone
Tomorrow I'll be gone
Tomorrow I'll be gone
Tomorrow I'll be gone
Tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
Save tonight
Save tonight
Save tonight...

Seau news is tough to read and watch, was a huge fan of his on the Chargers even as a Chiefs fan (just saw Marcellus Wiley's on ESPN.com...ugh, so rough).

Sarah Phillips stuff is keeping me entertained, I do feel bad for the girl, though. Creeps from Twitter last night were knocking on her door and having pictures & video of them outside her place.

I'm not doing well this week, not sure what else I can do, but I need something soon.

This was enjoyable though:

You know why I refused to get emotionally involved with the Caps this playoffs, risking losing my hockey fan license...*that's* why. Now it's past midnight, I have to be up at 5:30, and what's essentially now a long nap won't be a happy one.
