This poll title has a little mm mm mm to it.   French is like tequilla to me.

Didn't parasail yesterday, we sailed instead.  Bad weather in the area.  Somehow being in a sailboat was safer.surprise

Have a little video of porpoises on my FB, but can't figure out how to get it to le filtre.

Lemonade and vodka was the drink of the day, lost my dress, zzzz'd through the fireworks.  Good times.

Mid Week day off is better than some want to admit...enjoyed a great day poolside and arrived home seconds before the skies opened up!   But if my neighbors do NOT go to sleep at some point at night I am calling the PD and having these kids removed.  NO PARENTS I SWEAR!

My first time on a sailboat.  Was a lot of fun,  Once I figured out how to use the toilet when the boat is leaning on a 60 degree angle.
Oh, and turns out if you don't turn the valve in the right direction, you can sink the boat.

There was this big show planned here, but due to technical difficulties, you wouldn't have even had to sleep through it.

a couple things.. my buddy has been perfecting his craft with his electric digital smoker, and yesterday's concoctions were fantastic.  Pork Shoulder for pulled pork, ribs, sausages which were then cut open and stuffed with franks red hot and blue cheese, and chicken with a secret Indian recipe courtesy of the neighbors Nazer and his wife.  I had the biggest fu**ing food buzz last night.  And I'm considering getting one of those smokers for myself now.

Back at work today.. and it's like a Monday all over again.. ugh

I was stung by an angry wasp yesterday.. twice.. once IN THE FAAAAAAACE, and then in the arm.  I would have been pissed, but Tank was chasing that damn thing around my back yard and then hiding behind me when it got close to him and I couldn't stop laughing.  until the venom really started stinging of course :|

I'm still pissed about hockey tomorrow night

We're supposed to get real rain this weekend.. Maybe even a lot.. I think it's a story just made up to quell the heat revolution

1. Great day yesterday, went to a friends, for BBQ, pool and beers. Hit up World of Beers to close out the evening. Talked to the family, sucked that I wasn't with them, but it is getting better.

2. Met Ed and his son Andrew for lunch today. Glad that I had the opportunity to meet Ed and Andrew is a respectable young man. We had a great conversation and cold beers, hot-ish wings. Ed has photographic evidence. Marcus, we were discussing meeting in ATL this fall to catch the Cowboys/falcons game. Thought maybe you and Ash might want to join. Let me know what you all think so we can decide, how many tickets we need. Just a thought, throwing it out there for you to consider.

3. Now for the Steve Nash deal. Four draft picks for an overrated point guard? Steve Nash is 40 and has never won even a conference title in his nearly 2 decades in the NBA. The next time that the Lakers play in Phoenix, Mitch Kupchak should bend over in front of the arena and let the entire Suns fan base have their way with him. The Suns raped the Lakers on this deal, like they are a Colorado hotel clerk. If the other NBA owners and David Stern thought the deal for CP3 was bad, well this deal is Titanic. If this trade doesn't get Vetoed, then it just proves that last year was only because  the other owners knew they would not be able to keep the Lakers from winning more titles with CP3. At least now I can not care about the NBA, until fall of 2015.

Why in the name of Pepe LePew is everyone talking French??  We got no one named Francois or Henri or Jaques up in this joint...and I didn't see anyone offer up a Rosetta Stone Coupon to learn this "PewPew"...

Now SOME of us Lakers' fans see this trade for Nash as a "We Gotta get this Title Now" scenario.  Sure hope thet REALLY practice defense...

Say what you want - Serena Williams is a BEAST on the tennis courts.

Stoney - What makes you even think to watch mess like that?

I still love McDonald's French Fries - there is my French input for the day...oh and this:

At 40- he is still better than the majority of the starting PG's in the NBA with only 4-5 better than him and all 15+ years younger than him

Still doesn't make him worth 4 draft picks, that is more picks than years left that he will play in the NBA. If the Lakers are going to give up that many draft picks, they could have/should have gotten any of those other point guards.

Like I said, I believe that Nash is the most overrated player in the NBA. I hope World Peace and Kobe can cover 5 other players, Nash and Gasol never play defense and Bynum decides when he is going to play defense and when he isn't.

So the next 2 days it's supposed to be 99 in the Burgh, we NEVER get that hot here!  Yesterday was completely dead at the hospital and I got paid time and a half to be in charge for 8 hours, it was awesome.  I also checked my paycheck that goes in the bank tomorrow...72 hours, hold up!  I took a PTO day for my cousin's wedding Saturday, dumbs*** didn't put it on my paycheck so I was short 8 hours!  I talked to her this morning and she said that they just ate that $100 and will send me a check in the mail.  She claims she thought it was weird that I didn't have 80 hours, only 72, and that I must've had a PTO day there someplace, but she didn't have the schedule in front of her at home when she did payroll so she didn't know.  Well who's dumb fault is that, you stupid broad?  It's not that hard to print a piece of paper and have it on your desk when you are doing payroll.  Today we were extremely slow, and I was told that if I didn't have a project to work on I had to go home.  Oh no you don't!  I DID have something to work on with one of the other supervisors that was due tomorrow, and I made damn sure that project took until almost the end of my shift.  I will not leave early during this pay period as a way to get back at her.  If you're over budget, tough s***, I'm not taking a second out of my PTO hours to go home early this week or next because you screwed up my paycheck by not giving me the paid time off that you approved on the schedule.  I'm making sure every last minute of my 80 hours for this week and next week are on the time clock!

Good day, bitches.

OK, I know I haven't been around much lately, but really?  26 posts as of 4:18pm EST?  WTmotherF?

Yesterday was a clusterf**k.  Plain and simple.  I was running around all damn day, from the time I got up until late night.  And all I got out of it was a heat headache, some bug bites (see below), and some shi**y cole slaw and overdone burgers.  So basically it was a fantastic time ... only not at all, that's the only difference.

I was getting ready to bitch Stoney out for not telling me about getting nailed by a wasp twice (), but I didn't tell him about getting bit on the vagina by a bug of some sorts, so I guess we're square.  Yeah.  I know.  Shut up.

It's looking more and more like I'll be working 903 hours/week from now until eternity.  I'm already there from the ass-crack-of-dawn until approximately forever o' clock every day, but we're getting busier and busier, and seem to have less and less staff.

Our one groomer has cut back from her usual 3 days/week to 2.  Plus, she's known to randomly take vacations.  Like every month.  For two weeks at a time.  So she basically works 4 days a month now.  Must be nice.

The other girl who just started (I say "just started", but she's actually been on the payroll for a few weeks ... but I've seen her twice ... mm hmm, you see where this is going) is probably going to quit soon.  She's not getting any appointments, partially because she's new and partially because she blows.  I'd like to keep her around, mainly because she talks like Rosie Perez and it makes my heart happy.  I mean, sometimes it makes me want to punch babies, but usually it makes my heart happy (especially if I can con her into saying "Biiiillyyyy, what'd you do wit all my Jepahdy moneys?").  But the extra help would be nice, too.

Back to work today, which means last night felt like Sunday again. Oh well.

I completely ignored the fireworks. Most of the local shows were cancelled due to the storm cleanup, and I wouldn't be caught dead at the one on the National Mall.

Starting a new workout program (well, I started it yesterday): A mile on the treadmill, a mile on the elliptical, and a mile on the stationary bike (at least to start, I'll eventually press myself further). I call it the Cardio Triathlon.

Jess, I'll raise my hand on the Olympics stuff. I have started the long process of getting a poll out for each of the sports (save the really dumb ones, synchronized swimming and sailing, I'm looking in your direction). We're starting off with Archery and Badminton. Much more to come.

Random Thoughts...

1.  So...i had to backdoor my way into the site.  Is the sh** broke for anyone else?  I had to Google.."Faniq.com login page" because the f**king buttons on the home page are broke.  Busted a$$ sh** is busted.

2.  I wont bitch about the weather cause im sure its f**king hot everywhere...but the sh** is getting ridiculous.  Double digit number of days in triple digit temperatures is snapping everyones f**kometer.   Sometimes i joke about punching small animals or babies...but i really really do think id punch a kid square in the f**king c**ksucker for better weather.  I mean..the kid wont remember getting punched right...so who cares.

3.   I got physically sick yesterday for the first time in my life because of the heat and i was only outside for maybe an hour and a half.   I was doing some spot mowing and trimming...cause mostly everything is f**king fried...and i started to get the shivers.  Anyone ever been so hot they get the chills?  Weird sensation..then came the vomiting.   So me and my big sweaty pu**y decided to go back in.

4.  Mini Movie Reviews by the Movie Snob....

a.  The Grey.   If someone had told me that the movie was good within the first hour after i turned it off i would have flicked them in the t**nt.   Looking back now...i guess it wasnt so bad.   Acting was decent.   Seeing Dermot Mulroney alive was surprising.  I could have done without the scene after the credits rolled.  Leaving it open to interpretation would have been better.  Im going to pretend it ended BEFORE the credits.   60 year old man fighting alpha male wolf with broken minis...who you got?

b.  Immortals.  What can i say?  Better than the remakes of Clash of the Titans.   And i know there are some people who are head over heels for Freida Pinto...and i dont get it.

c.  Big Miracle.  Horrible...just plain horrible.   There has to be a documentary somewhere about what happened that is better than this movie. Watch that instead.  Better yet...watch anything instead.

d.  The Descendants.   I wanted to hate this movie...basically because im sick of Clooney being nominated every year for overrated bulls**t...but it was really good.  Im going to say this because she's legal...Shailene Woodley is smoking.   Im looking forward to her meltdown and follow up Playboy spread.

Hello gorgeous! smiley

Just a quick hello, I'm a total mess since I got the new job. I can't keep my  house the way I like, clean and organized sad  I feel time flies and I did nothing. I haven't finished the cleaning of that room I started last week, it seems like clothes and all those things multiply by themselves at night. I gave away lots of things and still have many more to get rid of. I can't spend time in here because the site is so slooooow, at least for me, and I waste a lot of time waiting for the polls and posts to show up. angryThe only good thing these days is I signed up in a gym and I'm practicing kick boxing, it's sooooo cool and relaxing, I'm a beginner so my little body aches from head to toes, but I'm not quiting. I kick like a baby but I promise to do it better in a few days, or weeks... or monthsindecision

That's all for now. Hope the rest of the day is great for you. See you later. Love you allheart

But Ed Werder might catch a pick up game of football in the woods.. You know, just some guys and their wranglers.. Pick ups providing light, Jesus on bass.  Maybe intercept a late night skype or face time session where good old number 4 is trying to angle the dangle just right to give some courageous masseuse a good story for her gal pals.  With Lolo you'd just be going from home to gym to church to post-op clinic for estrogen injections

I tried to fix Laurel's "the more you know" picture along with Ed's and Jason's pics but..it's beyond repair. I can't even find the edit post buttons.

OK people here is how you resize photos so they'll fit in comments (a width of 600 is plenty). When you go to post a photo, you see this box after your photo is uploaded:

Make sure the width is no greater than around 600ish - otherwise we won't see the full pic. If you've already posted somewhere you can always edit the pic (as long as the links show up) - just click to edit your comment, right click on your picture and click "Image Properties" - it will bring up the box above.

And Jason - I don't know what the issue is or why you're having that problem...I haven't had any one else report it. Maybe you're doin it wrong. cheeky

BK over and out
Do you hate me? I completely forgot about the open thread for yesterday's baseball stuff - if it helps, I don't think many people were around anyway.

I think our upper management would rather catch us having unprotected sex with aids infected monkeys while small children watch and handle contaminated syringes than catch us on facebook.  Nazis.

Jess, I Come Through The Backdoor All the Time, And Like I said, I've Used All kinds Of Web Browsers, Maybe It's the Internet Here On the Island, But It's Not gonna Stop Me From Coming Here = google + Faniq Log-In. All I Get And I Know It's What Jason Gets too, Is a single Rectangular Box Saying How Many Member Are On The Site, No Log-in And/Or Email Text Boxes.

Maybe you're doin it wrong. cheeky

I just noticed a fairly new restaurant near my work.   Looks like they've been open for just a few months.  But, I'm not entirely sure if I'm feeling up to trying it out.

For the longest time, there was a, ahem, gentleman's club located in that very spot.   I'm not sure if I want to go to a restaurant with that kind of history named "Big Dick's Fish Market and Grill."

Is Bynum still there?!

I'd like to see YOU kick Frieda Pinto out of bed.

I might spring for a slight breast enhancement for her, but I can think of MUCH worse.
