Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

Irvin Gordon is rapidly approaching 3 milllllllllllllion F'n miles on his volvo that he bought back in 1966.  That, my friends, is f**king impressive.  In direct contrast to the Chevy Volt, which gets an estimated 300 miles before suddenly bursting into flames.  Yeah, technology is advancing like a mother f**ker, aint it?

Um, this prolly ought to go in one of Jess' Olympic articles, but Cactus Jack is really good at getting his before anyone else, so here goes....Hope Solo, reportedly the second half sister to the third cousin of Han Solo, has tested positive for a banned substance.  The U.S. Womens' Soccer goalie just got a warning, so she will still get to play.  According to my un-named sources, both US Soccer fans in existence are pleased.

Life in San Diego must suck.  First, they suffer from a monumentous case of premature explosion with their Fourth of July fireworks show, and now the Padres are outed as perhaps one of the most boring teams in MLB.  Padres fan Travis Decker gets drilled by a foul ball while he is busy updating his Facebook page instead of watching the game.  Social networking could f**k up a w*t dream.

That's it for today.

twisted tuesday is upon and the weather has broken thank you mother nature - everyone ready for the all star game- wondering how RA Dickey gets passed as the starting pitcher when the kid has been untouchable since day2- go figure- how many more days before football?

Sup pizeeps,

I heard some fat vegetarian won the HR Derby last night.  Congrats to Princess Fielder, but I wish my Tigers buddies would STFU.  They act like he just pulled a Joe Carter in the 1993 World Series.

Speaking of Michigan teams...I can't wait for Notre Dame to pollywhack the skunk bears.  Michigan fans act like they dominated us the last two years, when in reality (where most of us reside), they were luckier than the midget that nailed Pam Anderson.

On a more positive note, it's only a high of 85 today.  So get your pooper scooper out because this honky is letting dogs out....ruff ruff.

Softball tonight....we win and we're basically a shoe-in for the playoffs.  Considering how bad I thought we were going to be, it makes me pretty happy.

Enjoy your day people....and remember, the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Good day.

Apparently Max was channeling his inner Seigfried and Roy white tiger while I was clipping his nails yesterday. Little bastage.

Day 5 of going back to my "Off Season" run/walks at the local track. Despite my right toe trying to sabotage me, I can still overtake the grandmas, new knew people, and those who walk wearing "Chucks." My next goal.............overtake the dude who wears those weird aqua man shoes that separate your toes.

Have something made out of ice today.

There were a couple things I forgot to mention yesterday...

I was disappointed with Machine Gun Preacher.. Trying to describe left me feeling like Millie from Bull Durham talking to Annie about young Ebby Calvin LaLoosh "He fu**s like he pitches.. Sorta all over the place"  I'm a big fan of director Marc Forster's other work, so I was a little disappointed about how this one came together.  The story is there to make a great movie, but the screenplay was thin, Gerard Butler was miscast, there was zero flow to the film.  This is one of those I wish they could have a mulligan and try again

I got the Apple TV device when I got a new little TV for my bedroom this past weekend.  I highly recommend it

Remember how neat the Espy's were when they first started? Maybe it was because I was 10 years old.  Now? It's right up there with Texas Hold Em on tv in the "wow, I used to watch THAT?" spectrum

I have to head out to a meeting in a little bit now.. It's one of those things I promised to be a part of, but now that the day is here, I really don't want to.  And if it really is 2 hours long like they say, I'm not gonna be a happy camper this afternoon.

Go National League

That song is my jam....

Shyea
I'm right here, in my chair
With my crown and my dear
Queen B, as I share
Mic time with my air
Young Carter, go farther
Go further, go harder
Is that not why we came?
And if not, then why bother?
Show no mercy to Marcy, we're loggers
Far from being the bastard that Marcy had fathered
Now my name's been mentioned with the Martyrs
The Biggie's and the Pac's, and the Marley's and the Marcus'...
Garvey, got me a Molotov Cocktail
Flow, even if you box well, can't stop the blows
Kaboom! The Roc Boy in the room
The Dopebwoyy just came off the spoon
Also, I'm so fly I'm on auto-
Pilot, where guys just, stare at my wardrobe
I see Euros, that's right, pluriel
I took so much change from this Rap game it's your go

Hi,

Indians don't have a sense of humor, you can tell the funniest of jokes and 99% won't get it other 1% would be too frustrated to laugh

I've been an utter jerk in the last 24 hours telling people what i was actually thinking and after analyzing the days results i've decided that speaking your mind should be done in the mind only.

I don't care about MLB (I think it's a stupider version of cricket) so is there a sport going on if not when can I get some.

Life sucks but whiskey rocks

I really need to get on a better schedule - I need to do the Asylum fitness test so I can get started on that, but I always get up too late or don't feel like doing it at night, or whatever. Ugh. I fail.

Though he stopped short of labeling himself as either “gay” or “bisexual,” the admission was widely heralded as a huge step forward for hip-hop.

Now I have heard it all...it is now cool to be on the DL as a Hip-Hop artist.  Who's next, Diddy?  Nelly?  Drake (???)  50 Cent...

I think they will be closing our branch sooner than we think. Yesterday some lady was here taking pictures of our ATM and measuring it. She told us its gonna be a mobile ATM/Teller. indecision. R&B and Rap are two different things within Hip Hop. Frank got his start as Odd Future's Nate Dogg so to speak, so he is kinda in the hip hop world. And blew up singing the hook on Ye and J's No Church in the Wild. His new album is apparently the shiite. I'm waiting for Black Mike to give it the thumbs up (via twitter) before I dip into the waters. He was good on Fallon last night, so there's that. i'm a little tiny bit cynical that his announcement came a week before his album dropped (which went to #1 in a heart beat). Makes me say hmmmm. PR rules the world (or I may be wrong?)

R&B, in general, is not within hip hop, just certain r&b artists, including him I suppose.

I tend to think he's a bit underrated for the simple fact he did his time for the crew.

I dig that book club idea.  In fact, let's start working out the specifics.  LOL @ 90210.  Can we do The Heights instead?  90210 had like a gazillion seasons, no?

Holy crap you're a genius! The Heights!! The OC, Melrose Place, Dawson's Creek and of course getting a masters in The Hills. (I'm missing some others but my GFs never watched Felicity or Ally McBeal, etc.)

Man am I lucky.  My gf likes shows like Friday Night Lights, Mad Men (which I can tolerate), The Office, etc.  She likes all those shows like the Hills and Laguna Beach, but she doesn't care if I watch them.

The Heights was my show.  I was very mad when they cancelled it.  I still rock out to "How Do You Talk To An Angel" from time to time.

Man I had one that got me hooked on Dawson's Creek, lmao. I was in deep, like waist deep. Chinese food, maybe some wine, rub her feet while we watched, THEN, then we'd have to talk about it!??!!! WTF was I thinking??? I wasn't just P-whipped, she was flogging me like a runaway slave. I think this is how people in AA feel looking back at the "bad times." I just have to take it day by day now and stay away from the WB with the remote.

Edited, to add that Jess-bot is a vile TV temptress. we may need to get her hubby in a program. I'll be his sponsor.

BTW, I forgot, as my brain was being mauled by mental images of things that an innocent girl such as myself should never envision, to mention that the University of Louisville is being represented in the 2012 Olympics.  Congratulations to Head Coach (Swimming) Arthur Albiero.

Good Afternoon, Everybodee!

Not much going on.  My daughter had band practice yesterday, their first during the summer break, to start getting ready for next season.   I didn't attend, as I was still at work at that time.   One of the other band members asked where I was.  My daughter said I was at work.  They gave her a questioning blank stare, not understanding.   Ok, I guess I hang around them a bit too much.

Got a surprise this week that tomorrow is essentially Picture Day at work. Thus, this afternoon had to be emergency hair cut time. I will never get over how expensive these things are.

Here's the daily link to the Olympics polls. Added last night were the swimming events (three polls total because there are a lot of swimming races), as well as shooting (Guns!).

All that is just window dressing to what I really have to offer, which is Cookie Monster winning the Internet for today.

Men's haircuts expensive?

I probably shouldn't disclose how much I spend on my hair every time I go in...

Is there anything funnier that this s***??  Jack, my ribs hurt from laughing at this!!  This is the only way I stay on top of current events now.  Since Anderson Cooper decided to let us know what we thought we knew ALREADY, nothing surprises me anymore, but I do have some weird trivial shizzzzznit to drop on you:

All of Tom Cruise's Ex's are exactly 11 years apart in age from the previous one (First Mimi, then Nicole, the Katie)...but what is REALLY weird is that they also stood 6 inches taller than him too!!  F^*****g midget!!

Updated 12:25 pm ET (CBS News) Mitt Romney took to the defensive Monday after a series of Democratic attacks on his finances, stating he has no knowledge of the specifics of his holdings because they're in a blind trust

BLIND??  Ain't that some s***?  You can't see it, but your account keeps growing, and you don't know why???  now THAT is AMAZING!!

It’s been a big week for R&B star Frank Ocean. On Wednesday, he posted a letter to his Tumblr account in which he described falling in love with another man.

PARIS - In its first sentencing, the Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC) handed a 14-year prison term to former warlord Thomas Lubanga for recruiting and using child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Wish he was tortured slowly instead (that is just my opinion)

Screw the Pooch...I'm out...PS - Watch D12 flipflop again on Orlando...
Like there aren't any other hip hop homos.  Please.

Didn't Queen Latifah just come out recently, too?  Not that it was really necessary, I mean, come on now.  That's like Snooki coming out as a skank.

Toe problems? Call the....toe truck.... (sorry..could.t resist) Evening all...what a day...got up early..son had to go to court because he got pulled over last month and couldn't find his insurance card, so he got a ticket. He found his card, but in order to have it dismissed, he had to go before the judge...who promptlly rescheduled the case for trial....argggghhh! Next, get ready to leave work and my sons car won't start...buy new battery for it..get home, and what should have taken 10 minutes took an hour and a half! The bolt keeping the battery in place was rusted, and even WD40 couldn't loosen it...I finally broke the bolt and had to bungee cord the battery...then, to top it off, I forgot to put the battery cover back on...AND, when re-disconnecting the negative terminal, I dropped the nut into an inaccessible area of the car....ARGHHH !!!

Really?!?! I did not know that, you're just f**king with us right?

Queen Latifah came out after that movie she was in where she was a bank robber with three other chicks, Vivica A Fox and Jada Pinkett, that one chick.  Not that, that was her coming out role or anything, but she has let it be known for a while now, not that it matter how long she's been out.

I was just saying or rhetorically asking WHY is it such a BIG a** deal now that everyone is pronouncing their homo-isms to the world?  Its like the MOST in-thing to do in the entertainment business.  I really don't care who they boink, or vice versa...its just wild and over the top how its a marketing ploy now.

Being #1 comes the innate ability to have a smart conversation with the J - I know SHE knows!!  But its not really about, what did you say, moho...but the idealisms behind it and how it has "blossomed" into entertainment, where it was such an outcry not too long ago.  Again, a rhetorical statement not created to cause debate...just topic
