Boss just asked if I wanted to go play some golf....so we're outta here a few hours early. 

The National League sh*t all over the American League.  Justin Verlander clearly had his mind on (look below) last night....can't fault him, though.




We won 1/2 in softball last night, thus meaning our playoffs hopes are still alive....by the slimmest of margins.  I was fvc*ing pissed, though.  One guy showed up so drunk, he tripped over his feet going out for a fly ball.  That was in addition to another drunk guy booting 5-6 routine ground balls @ SS.  A bunch of Nicks amateurs if you ask me.

Bachelor party at Arlington Park this weekend....Sid, holla at ya boy!  Got any tips?

I love the venomous hate pretty much everybody has for Tim McCarver. My twitter feed during the game last night was basically a roast with real disdain. I mean EVERYBODY was taking cheap shots. I'm a podcast junkie and The Champs is my new fix. Absolutely the most profanely honest and ignorantly on point shiite I have ever listened to. No taboo's. Neal Brennan (the white guy from Chapelle's Show) basically has a bunch of black comedians, athletes, singers, etc. come on and and tell insane Charlie Murphy-like real life stories that end up sparking fascinating, tangential convos. It's hysterical. DO NOT fire this up at work. Actually, you should probably never listen to it without your earbuds. Ever.

 I hate crap like this. BS. I loved football and hockey (had season tickets to local juniors team) long before I even met my husband. I think I've actually gotten HIM into some sports (teams for sure...he was a Niners fan. Ew.) I know for a fact that the women here don't fit in that "study"...I can't speak for your gf. And my ex didn't like football and hockey...he only liked baseball. I tune in to watch sports all the time, husband here or not. Lame. 

Nick - I don't know if you remember but when Tom and Katie got together, he basically had her on lockdown. He had to approve everything she did script-wise (I can't remember where I read that, but I did). I wouldn't necessarily assume that she's being psycho - there's more going on in that marriage and divorce than her just being a hag and raking him over the coals.

I didn't really follow that too closely........I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise......in fact, he makes me sick to my stomach.......so, I have no history of their situation..........just sounded really bizarre and pyschotisch (is that a word) that she plotted the divorce and asked for and got sole custody including 100% rights to do what she wants with Suri's education.........that's usually not normal....ya know?  That's why I stated "wonder what's really going on here" with regards to their relationship?

Not at all. When I was married I was the one that watched sports. I think it was normal for me because I grew up with 2 older brothers and thats just what was always on in our house.

Good Afternoon, Everybodee!

Lot's of craziness this week.  Comicon starts with the preview night tonight.    Sadly, an out of towner who was one of the first in line to attend lost her life crossing the street against the red light.    She was planning on being one of the first to attend the Twilight forums.

Last night some dude decided to hang out over one of our busiest freeways.   More specifically, on one of the freeway signs over the freeway, near my office.   I'm glad I was out of there before his 8-hour stay.  Officials stopped traffic for the duration.  (5PM - 1AM)

And finally, tonight I'm taking my kids (all 3 who are still in San Diego) to go see Wicked.

I was just playin' and although there is probably some truth to that study, I know plenty of women who love sports more than a lot of men.  My gf heard something about "we've found out why women love watching sports" on the radio, but she had to get out of the car before they came back from a commercial and expounded on it.  Y'all ladies know I have nothing but love for you....except for Ash's girl HULL.  She I can only tolerate.
