Funny story from softball last night.  Dude got SMOKED in the face with the ball.  It's funny because I don't like him and the gash caused by his Oakley's required stitches.  It's like I always say....bitches get stitches.  We won 11-8 in case you were wondering.  

Friday Night Lights is my shizzle.  I've watched 6 episodes in just a few days.  I want to punch that Riggins kid.  Not only did he hook up with Street's girl, Street was planning on playing his ball at Notre Dame.  You don't mess with Domers, ya dig?

Grilled up some crucial steaks and potatoes on the grill last night.  You jelly? 

Guy I work with....his wife just went into labor.  She's 48.  That's not safe, right?  I thought child bearing was supposed to stop around 40ish?!?

Oh, I also watched the pilot to Newsroom on Sunday.  I really liked it, especially the diatribe Jeff Daniels' character went on at the beginning.  My man...put those little punks in their place.

I'm mostly just marking time until my vacation starts, wondering if the Orioles will be below .500 by the time I leave (all signs point to yes).

I had to wait at the Metro stop this afternoon, waiting for a huge storm (I'm talking epic downpour, thunder, lightning, the works). Luckily I was able to wait it out and got home dry. Plus, it cooled things off a bit and presumably the area needed the rain.

(Whoa, am I finally becoming less of a nattering nabob of negativism, or is just a blip? Hmm....)

Now that they've made certain views officially, I'm hoping I can finally get the strength to quit Chick Fil-A for good.

hmm. I dont want to know... though I wouldn't stop eating there anyway. I've met Mr. Chick-fil-A and he's very sweet... and though I'm meh on the whole God/church issue, I also dig the fact that they are closed on Sundays.

Well, it wasn't exactly a secret before, and as you might guess I wasn't all that comfortable with the church thing, but I was able to be in denial because I liked their food. Now not so much, which is just as well since I shouldn't be eating their food anyway. Of course, some would probably say I'm just too political.
