I am in love, and her name is Falcons Football <blinky eyes go here>.

I guess if the Braves get a Cubbie, Ryan Dempster ain't too bad of an acquisition. Thanks Braves, I actually believe you care. My heart fluttered for a second or two.

Somebody has a real cool tat. Seems like someone said it would be the year of the Cup, the parade, AND the tat...

Now for a Super Bowl Championship for the ATL.

Came in today to hear that the guy who hired me 25 years ago passed away yesterday due to cancer. A good golfing buddy, and a great friend who always had a smile and never met a stranger... RIP J.S.

Looks like the posting may end sooner than I thought. I will so harass you all soon. Rogs, I will find you and get you back in here.

That's it. Y'all have a good 'un.

Half day of work, my back is out.  Rob and I moved a 40 foot palm tree by ourselves Sunday.  Not a good idea.
The tree is now known as m*****f*****.    The other guy helping us pulled a groin and left.  Oh, and the owner of the house doesn't
like the tree like he thought he would,  so he wants it removed. angry

Batman yesterday,   The ticket taker said, down the stairs and to the right, then right again. OMG, Joel and I followed Rob in the theater without looking up and we sat down-- at the end
of the movie and didn't realize it til the credits rolled. I kept saying, "Did we skip the last Batman movie and it starts off
with all this action?"   So, dorks are us, got refunded on the tickets and went to the next showing.  Then we left before it ended.
Everyone was staring at us like we smoked crack.   It was like reading the end of a book first.  UGH.  See what happens when I stay sober?

Last night we went to BB Kings Blues Bar and watched a friends band play.  Hadn't seen JP in 20 years.   Quite a contrast in music.
Then:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OE_hndH5Nb4  and Now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLPcix_JqdI   blush
Had a really nice time and he gave us all his CD's.

I heard Josh Joshson is next on the trading block for the Marlins.  He was getting scouted last night.  Ugh.  Just Ugh.

watching season 1 of workaholics right now.

I'm pretty sure Kevin and Joe would disown me (more than usual. shut it)) if I were in public with them using my current phone. I refused to even tell Joe what it was because I didn't want to get yelled at, but now I regret to inform myself that it is time. It has been slowly committing suicide for the last 6 months and it's going batsh** crazy in its last days. Literally, dialing, texting, opening apps and pics by itself which would be fine (and ghostly goodness) if I had a house phone but I do not. Therefore, I am being forced against my will to return to the land of the upgrades after work. BOOO and R.I.P. my awesome, psychotic, 2000 and late, freezetastic phone.  :(

Qr's
SOA returns Sept 11, I'm excited. Antwaan Randel-El retired from my beloved team to enter the broadcasting world (gl) to him. No racing on the weekends makes for interesting tv viewing. I honestly tried to sit and watch a baseball game, hmmm, remote needed new batteries. There are lots of new shows coming to tv and many returning favorites. I'm a bit miffed at Covert Affairs, giving it another chance because of  Christopher Gorham. Anyone know when Psych is back? Last night I went to a friends and had wings & beer, was a nice evening. A couple of weeks and give or take a day, FOOTBALL is back!  Licorice Whips

I was looking at the different Olympic teams and noticed  there is BMX and mountain biking teams, may be why Rogs left, so he could train, but then I noticed the trampoline team....really, maybe i haven't been paying attention (which is a good possibility) but when did jumping on a trampoline become an Olympic sport and there might be another half-dozen to dozen (that would be 6 - 12 for those who don't know what a dozen is) countries with such a team. WOW i'm really behind the times.

Spotify-Tuesdays: Matisyahu, Shinedown, Rise Against, Nas and Dierks Bentley via ESPN's playbook Sounds. I'm digging all of them. makes sense, I'm all over the place. That's the best thing about Spotify, it's A-D-D-riffic!! It's like I can finally exhale. [ahhh]

What's that? A Hasidic Jewish guy who beat boxes, chants lyrics like murderous dance hall track AND rips the catchiest, bubble gum, pop hook of the summer???! Of course he does. I had heard Matisyahu's tracks all summer, just NOW realized it's all the same dude. (He'll be here in the ATL in August, may happen.)

I haven't even got to the rest of that list on YouTube yet. #Q-ifiy

Oh but be happy because if the trade does indeed get finalized and Delgado is the player coming to the cubs then your new GM has made another Plus move for your team. Young arms are at a premium and Delgado has tons of upside ,  cubs come out way ahead in this one.

I appreciate the braves making a move to try and win but its easily an overpay for a rental SPer. Nice move Theo !

The checking/savings references he kept making were hilarious as well, especially when he brought up the Mekhi Phifer Disneyland story.

These shows are all elaborate hoaxes right? Like, in 25 years people are going to look back and not be able to believe we all thought these 'documentaries' were based in any kind of reality. The same way we giggle at the fact Orson Wells' War of the Worlds cause a minor hysteria.

You know I'm about done defending Marmol. Don't get me wrong, I do believe his job is the absolute hardest on a baseball team, I do. But, when you blatantly go against your pitching coach and catcher, then there's a problem.

I've seen a few men in kilts.  You can get a sneak peak before you decide to take him to the "sanctuary".  wink

You know I'm about done defending Marmol. Don't get me wrong, I do believe his job is the absolute hardest on a baseball team, I do. But, when you blatantly go against your pitching coach and catcher, then there's a problem.
He's routinely seen out in River North and Lincoln Park getting obliterated too.  Hell, he was partying with Peavy in Wrigleyville a few weeks ago.  F that noise.  Cubs stick together, not hang with the enemy.

hahaha actually, he wore it to a house party a few months ago and did a keg stand regardless of the fact that he "wears it right."

might actually have been one of the weirder, uglier things i'll ever see.

I don't have the energy to type much else. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

WOW i'm really behind the times.
