Okay fellow iquers my wife decided earlier today we needed different lamps since we just got hew carpeting so we jumped in the car and headed for the local mall.She saw a few she liked in this one store and went in to look at them ,no price on them so when the sales lady finally came over my wife asked her how much they were,she replied with this...I know when someone ask how much something is they can't afford it,so let me show you something more in your price range...WOW I got very upset and walked out on the way out I heard my wive sort of go off on her a little bit.Anyhow my question is what is one of your shopping day bad expierences and how did you react to it

I hate shopping, unless it's online or for electronics. Even shopping for electronics can be exhausting though.

OH - and I love shopping for books, but mostly because bookstores are like big libraries and they don't mind if you put your feet up and chill while you test the merchandise.

 Captn- you may not relate to this but when I go shopping I am mostly always followed and asked how can I be helped when I state I knwo where I am going and I knpw what I want----- dont treat me like you  know I want to steal something or when a sales associate asks me what I want, I tell them what I want and then they go try to sell me what I DONT want - that pisses me off!!!!

I love going to a book store, I've told my wife she could drop me off at the Books-a-million store and come back when she is done because Ican get lost in there for hours.

We went shopping for a new dining room set last weekend and as soon as we walk in the door this one old vulture descends on us and introduces himself, says he didn't catch my name and i let him know "that's because I didn't give it to you." he gives us the whole I'll let you look around and if we have any questions spiel. Anyway i notice "vinny" lurking around where ever we go so we walk all over the store just looking at sh*t we don't really need or want. of course once mrs. mojo realizes what is going on she hits me and says "God i cant take you any where"  Really, we are being stalked and i get punched.

I know sales buzzards have to make a living too, but if I want some help or need you to write some sh*t up I'll pick one out and clap or snap or some other condescending  act to get their attention. Its worse with car salesmen and the kids wont go, not that they needed to anyway, but the last car we bought all I kept hearing in a low voice was our oldest daughter saying, "oh my god ,mom please make him stop."
